That's dumb. You're gonna want to wait until VR gets enough traction to be good first. Like a ps3 compared to a ps1.

It's been in development since the DK1 of 2012. As someone who has followed VR for over a year, I have determined that it is a worthy purchase decision (while the DK2 was not, which was incorrect since its resale value is higher than its price), and Oculus (funded with 2 billion from Facebook) has a slew of first party titles as well as thousands of titles from independent developers. Here's a short list of the latest games updated for VR. I also tested the HTC Vive DK1 in October, and it was an almost life-changing experience. Over 300,00 VR headsets have been sold as of today, and there's more than enough content.

Nah. Not my type of song. Counterpoint:

Huh?

Holy shit. Was not expecting that.
That was intense XD
His voice kinda bothers me, sounds like he is singing out of his nose.

That's a tiny list, and by the time VR only games come out that are any good, the tech will have eclipsed this. It's better to wait it out.

Time to nerd out, I guess.
1.) T-45d armor was originally powered by energy cells, which not only changed in F4, but which were never even included in the game.
2.) The extra two feet of height. Power armor never included robotic stilts to make anyone taller, until now.
3.) Similarly, Robotic hands. To make the body oroportional after the height increase, I guess. Still.
4.) T-51b armor was supposed to be made of a composite material. In other words, not metal.
5.) T-51b's Microfusion Packs were "Built in" and designed with enough life to run for a millennium. Not even over exaggerating.
6.) Where did T-60 come from? T-51bs were confirmed to have been the most powerful pre-war armor for a long time, and on several occasions. Not only is T-60 supposedly more advanced than T-51, but it is aesthetically a ripoff of T-45.
7.) T-45s, being the earliest model of power armor, were so bulky that they slowed the wearer down. I see no such effect in F4.
8.) How did X-01s get in the Commonwealth? The Enclave is dead, and the only division to be on the east coast were demolished in D.C. Even then, D.C. Enclave user Adv. Power Armor Mk. II's, so there is no explanation as to how they got there. If another division of the Enclave had ever been present in the Commonwealth before, characters would have mentioned it.
9.) Let's just invent a new concept to fuel these armors. Seriously, Fusion Cores? Never mentioned before, ONCE.
10.) T-45s were the only armor that required a special undersuit to wear. In F4, all of them do.
11.) Power armor training isn't a thing anymore. Let's just throw people who know nothing about how these armors work into some suits and hope they don't die!
12.) Raider Power Armor? Just... Wut.
That's enough for now, I think. I'm done.

I said "short list" and you have no idea how incorrect you are. Regardless, I'd buy it if there were zero content.

The raider part pisses me off so fucking much.
Not to mention that even the Enclave survivors who assisted in New Vegas had Adv. I think they had Tesla, specifically.
Fucking jetpacks, really? Do they not understand how much thrust is needed to even boost the literal ton plus of the PA?
The armor isn't a single piece, it's just pieces bolted on to a frame that is the same for every type. No wonder they break from a single attack from a deathclaw.
How the fuck did a brand new suit of T45 survive 200 fucking years in mint condition, MISSING A LEG MIGHT I ADD
I literally found an identical suit of T45, missing the same leg and all, randomly in a cage behind what I think was a novice computer. Might have been higher difficulty, but was well below master level. It's standing a few feet away from my power armor station at sanctuary, next to my original suit now with raider pieces that SOMEHOW ARE BETTER THAN MILITARY GRADE AND MANUFACTURED ARMOR PIECES.
There's enough power armor that survived the 200 years without being stolen away or scrapped for raiders to build their own onto the same frames? How fucking crucial was the commonwealth strategically? Did the capital get moved there? No other wasteland had that much unless the Enclave or BoS were there.
The training wasn't just needed to keep them alive, it was necessary to use it at all. It's like a gundam, you can't just jump in and pilot, you NEED to have the physical and mental training, plus the knowledge of how it works or you won't be able to get it to move at all.
What kind of moronic gov would use suits with such a major flaw as the power cells STICKING OUT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE BACK, A GENERAL WEAKPOINT AIMED FOR IN BATTLE
A FUCKING STRAY TREE BRANCH COULD TURN THE RELEASE VALVE ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME WITH THAT SHIT
<Snipped quote by DarkwolfX37>
Agreed in every respect.
In Fallout 3, Paladin Gunny says something about relaxing and letting the suit do the work when he's training you. This, combined with the strength boost, led me to develop the headcanon that moving in armor without training would cause the individual to break their back, neck, or other body parts if they tried to move. But meh.
The jetpacks get me too. But regardless of realism, you'd better believe I'm getting one as soon as I'm able just because it sounds fun.
