The tower has been activated again, new players are coming in, Wishes and Death mix well...

All player start in the Modern day city, skies were colored into a dark orange and the sun was as red as blood, the people were missing and the only thing standing in the floor are Players, the world is as messed up as a maze with different parts on the world colliding and only a map of the floor left in their phones.
All the buildings were intact and several sounds echo through the town, Gunshots and a loud Howl of three dogs can be heard in the distance.

A knapsack, a weapon and a old flip phone sits infront of the players for when they awake.

A little girl had awoken in the plaza, her silent yawn cutting through the emptiness of the world around her. The girl opens her eyes, rappidly blinking them in order to get rid of any sleepiness she would have retained from her slumber and absentmindedly raking her brain to find out what she'd been doing earlier, not noticing that she had been sleeping on cold, hard gravel only a few seconds ago. Her long pink hair almost floated around her as she turned her head to look at her surroundings, her eyes widening in surprise and fear when she noticed the unfamiliarity of the world she was in. The area around her looked strikingly similar to her own hometown, only the fact that there were no people mulling about, and none of the land marks that should have been around her only added to the unease that she wouldn't have felt had she been in her own bustling community. 'Where... Where am I?' The girl asked internally, looking to the sky and noticing its unnaturally red sun.

Panic started to set in, the little pinkette's legs started to shake in her fear. Where was she, really, and what could be even do about it? She had no money, no family outside of her community, and no idea how she could get to said community from this place that looked so similar but entirely different. She fell to the ground, shedding silent tears as she wallowed in her despair. 'Mom... Dad... How will I ever see you two again...' she cried, and cried, trying and failing to keep her voice quiet in her sorrow. Her tears fell until she had no more, and when her eyes ran out her heart began to weep instead.

Shaking, violet eyes finally notice the few annomolies that littered the ground, her eyes widening in shock when she noticed the phone on the ground. She half-scrambled, half ran to the device on the ground quickly flipping it open and turning it on, her tears quickly drying on her face in the wake of her new discovery. With a phone, she could find out where she was. With a phone, she could contact her family, or maybe even the local authorities to come and get her. With a phone... She had a chance to get back home.

(What's on the phone, dear GM?)

On the phone was a message.
"Welcome Mira Ragi
To the the Dream Tower, you might be wondering why your here.
Well you were probably either Dreaming big or your dead, and this is where we come in, if you succeed you will be given a second shot in life or a wish.

If you fail to beat the tower then your body will remain here with a lingering will that will hunt down anything in its path and killing anyone in sight.

You should read the rules before walking out of this safe zone." The message stops there and sounds of gunshots can be heard throughout the city.

The phone beeps again and showing a mission message and a Rule/Progression message.

Mission
Two heads are better than one.

Yellow eyes open to an orange sky. The teen- almost adult- stayed silent on the ground, not giving thought to why she had been sleeping on the ground, or why she didnt remember how she got there. She instead focused on the memories in her mind, or lack thereof. She remembered that she was Aya Whistler, that she went to a high school, that she had been apart of an extracurricular activity, and that she had a pet.

What she didn't remember is who gave that name to her, which school she went to, what kind of activity she had, and the name and kind of pet she had. Every thing except her name were all general concepts, no specifics. While that worried her in a big way, her biggest worry at that single moment was- 'What kind of sun is red?' Aya asks herself incredulously. She sits up and rubs her dandelion eyes, making sure she wasnt seeing things. But sure enough, there was a red sun in the sky, and the ground she was laying upon was grey, along with being riddled with gravestones and a few peculiar objects that usually wouldn't be there.

Not letting the panic of waking up in an unknown graveyard set in, she instead focused her attention on the white elephant in this situation: A giant battle-axe that was impaled into the ground. The handle was a dark crimson, the decal of a laughing fox with 3 tails ran along the sides of the weapon, one tail of each blade, and the final tail settled on a spike that was buried in the ground. The blades of the weapon were a midnight black, and while the entire thing was completely opposite to anything she liked, it had a familiar presence, like she had used it before hundreds of times.

Picking up her velveteen hat from the ground and fitting it snugly on her head, Aya walks up to the Axe, and braces herself for hard tug to pull the half buried weapon from the ground. To her surprise, it unearthed itself easily, and her excess strength sent her to the ground, the Axe falling ontop of her, light as a feather. Wide eyed and bewildered, Aya picks herself up from the ground for the second time and holds the Axe with ease in both of her hands, the familiarity from before becoming even stronger as she held it. Marveling over the weapon, she drops it in the throes of her wonder. It fell to the ground faster than she could react, digging itself yet another hole in the ground.

Aya sighed, pushing away her fears and questions to the back of her mind as she picks up the weapon once more. Almost absentmindedly, she picks up both the knapsack and the flip phone from the ground as well, placing said phone into the bag as she left the graveyard, looking for the town or city it would be near to, and hoping someone could give her answers before she could start thinking more practical, but despair-riddled thoughts.

Magnus, 16 years of age, wakes in the chair of a seemingly abandoned cafe. His warm, brown, eyes peer up at the sky from his seat. Unsure of his location, he stands, planning on exploring his new found location. Before he made it very far, he tripped over a strange object. Which he found to be a sword.

The sword in itself was not very special. The blade is steel and twenty eight inches long, the handle itself is made of a very strong unknown type of wood. In the hilt, there is a dragon etched into it.

After examining the sword, he looked around where it lay, he found a satchel, as well as a flip phone. he hangs the satchel on his shoulder and walks down the street, checking the flip phone as he does.

Mira drops the phone, eyes in disbelief and body shaking with loss. She had only read the first part of the message, and she already regretted it deeper than anything else in her short life. Death. That was the thought that dropped itself at the forefront of her mind. Her own death. When she read over the words that sprawled across the small screen of the device, multiple images and sounds flashed in quick succession in her psyche. A large object moving quickly towards her. A loud screeching noise. A scream. Unbearable pain. Darkness.

She couldn't fall any faster, her knees scraping on the cold hard concrete as her hands covered her eyes once more, droplets falling and creating a picture of pure despair. She was dead. She would never see her parents again, never get to play in the park again, never be able to finish school or, become a nurse like she dreamed of becoming when she grew up. Her cries were loud and hard, and she didn't care if anyone heard anymore.

She was dead. All alone. No family. No friends. Lost and afraid.

She. Was. Dead.

Aya sighs in relief, seeing the edge of the town she believed would have existed near the graveyard. Sitting on the grass beneath her feet, Aya takes a moment to check the other items she had pilfered from the graveyard. Opening the bag, she was surprised to see at least a week's worth of food and water, almost as if someone had- She violently shakes her head, ridding herself of the thought. If someone had known of her situation, they would have called the local authorities to aid her. Speaking of calling, the other item she had acquired was an old flip phone model, which apparently had two new messages on it. Opening the phone, Aya reads over the first message quickly in silence. Almost immediately after she finished reading the message, she had to stop herself from breaking the phone in angry denial.

So, apparently, she was either dead and going through some sort of trial to come back to life, or had wanted something so bad that she allowed herself to join in a death game for that reason. If she could see her past self, Aya would probably slap her right across the face. Calming herself down, she reads the next message, which held what looked to be her "first mission". What the text said in a nutshell was: "find someone to partner with." Didn't sound too hard to her. Right after the thought crosses her mind, she hears a few loud gunshots coming from the town. Never mind. Walking into the town, Aya starts to hear a faint, hollow crying, as if the source of the sound was far ahead of her. Aya's heart breaks a little, hearing that the source of the sound was feminine and high pitched. A young girl, she was guessing. Adjusting the battle-axe she held on her shoulder, she starts moving towards the sound, hoping that no one was hurt and wanting to comfort the mystery girl.

Magnus scowls at the text message on the old phone. So he was dead or wanting a wish, the hard part was he doesn't remember a thing. Which troubled him almost as much as running into a lamppost. He falls back from the shock of stopping suddenly, as he does he drops the phone to the ground. He sighs and dusts himself off as he stand, he picks up the phone and quickly reads the second message. A scowl spreads across his face again, a mission? That was something he was not prepared for, however there isn't much he could do about it.

He begins to walk again, hoping he wasn't alone in this city. As he begins to walk again, he rests his sword against his shoulder. Sadly it did not come with a sheath. A third glance was needed for him to completely read the text, teammates. So he wasn't alone, of course the young girls scream helped confirm his thoughts. He shoulders his bag and starts to make his way towards the scream.

Mira didn't know how long she had been sitting in the plaza, wailing at the cruelties of the world, the world that let her die before she could live. The silent world that watched her demise, not even blinking in the face of her adversity. Her pain, brought upon her by a world that destroyed the dreams and lives of those who weren't ready to die, tore at her heart, ripping it and throwing the pieces towards the ground beneath her knees. Her pain grew and grew, filling the void where her heart used to be, and became who she was.

The pain of loss, of death, of broken dreams and sour realities. It intertwined with her very being, becoming a part of her, sinking itself into her psyche. In her pain, she truly understood what death was. Before, she had never known death, had never looked it in the eyes and stared into it's horror, or felt the loss that came with a loved one's demise, her realization of her own life's end being the first real contact with the abyss. She wasn't eased in to it, never truly feeling the cold hand of death. Now, she is entangled in it, swallowed by it, all around her was death, and so was she. She was so lost in it, in the taint of death, that she never noticed the arrival of the person that came, the person that knew nothing, as well as everything about her.

As Aya walked towards the sound she had heard, the wailing became louder and louder, loud enough that she could almost feel the pain the young girl must have been feeling. Finally arriving at the location, which was apparently the plaza, her eyes locked upon a child. A child, barely older than 9, with a drape of cotton candy hair framing her whole body and face, which was covered by her hands, crying her eyes out in the middle of the clearing. Aya's heart shattered, calling out to the little girl who she didn't even know. It pained her to see someone in pain, especially someone as young as the little girl in front of her. She slowly approached the girl, the child not even noticing her approach.

Her own broken heart reached out to the young child, becoming a support for the small girl to lean upon. Aya sat next to the girl, taking the younger female by surprise by hugging the small child to her chest, letting the young girl feel her own heartbeat, letting the girl know she wasn't alone. A duo of tears fell from Aya's face as she held the small girl. For someone so young to want something so much, or to have died at such a young age... It physically hurt her to see the pain that the world could bring upon a person. "Ssssssshhhhh... D-don't cry l-little one." Aya whispered softly into the pinkette's ear, her stutter being lain open to the world. She caressed the young girl's long hair with one hand, and kept the pinkette close to her, protecting the young one from the pain that plagued her with the other. "Y-you'll be ok... I-i'll protect y-you." Unbeknownst to the teen, her phone popped up with a new message, lighting up the inside of her bag as she committed herself to the little girl with those few words.

Shiro yawned and stretched rolling out of his bed onto the floor. Except there was no bed and his carpeted floor was now cold stone. Shrio's eyes popped open and he looked around him curiously. What was going on? Shiro reached for the phone in front of him searching for a clue, it defiantly wasn't his phone but who knew what was on it? It had a weird message that said he was trapped in some sort of tower. His head twitched at the sound of gunshots again. Was there some sort of gang war going on? Shrio grabbed the satchel and the metal pole on the ground and looked around. Having absolutely no idea what to do he began walking in a random direction. After a few turns he saw a guy with a sword striding somewhere purposefully. "Hey buddy!" He shouted waving his free hand in the air. "You got any idea what's going on around here?" It was worth a shot, unless he was a bad guy and tried to kill him. But that was really unlikely, right?

Magnus stops in his tracks hearing the new voice behind him. "huh?" he turns around to face the voice, "oh, no I uh heard a scream, I think there is someone in trouble." He grips his sword handle, unsure if he could trust him or not, he supposes he had no choice.

Looking over the new person in front of him, "hey, what's your name?" he decides to ask. Unsure of what else to say, he lets his sword drop from his shoulder, and he leans on it

Shiro glanced at the sword as the stranger gripped it somewhat nervously and let out an internal sigh of relief when it dropped to a resting position. Not a bad guy, sweet. "Name's Shiro. If you heard a scream then we better go check it out to see if its someone like us." he said confidently and strode forward in the direction the stranger had been heading before, ignoring the possibility of the stranger suddenly attacking his blindside with that sword of his. He had to trust someone after all. If there were more people like them here they could team up and work on this nonsense together. Assuming it was even real. Just to be safe though, travelling in a pack never hurt nobody. His metal pole served as an adequate walking stick and if they found something mean he could whack it.

Mira had felt it. The edge of her sanity. She had no idea what it was, nor what it would mean if she ever fell from it, but she knew that it was there. At the corner of her mind, she could see herself hanging from it, desperately holding on to it, even as she felt the tears streaming down her face and onto the appendages. She had no where to go, no one to see, nothing to do. She had no purpose and no dream, those two things died with the loss of her life, of her innocence. The pain that had replaced her heart slowly began to replace the rest of her. It became so much that she had nearly become a lowly vessel to it. Then, an amazing occurrence happened.

A familiar warmth started to enclose itself around her, forcing away the chill of despair. It was like a light shining in the middle of the darkness, it filled her emptiness, it made her whole. Mira knew what it was, and what it meant. It was a warmth she knew very well, as it was what had filled her home, what made her community the beauty that it was, and who's absence frightened her the moment she had awoken. It was love, it was kindness. It was the feeling that built itself inside of you, that let you know that someone cared, that someone was there for you. In the light shinning upon the revelation of her death, she had assigned that feeling with life, and had believed that she would never feel it again in this cold, twisted world. But, as Mira uncovered her tear stained face and opened her puffy, red rimmed eyes, she saw something she had believed she would have never had seen in her life. Another person, a human being, and, to her slowly repairing but still broken heart, an angel. A wondrous angel of hope with eyes that reminded her of the sun she had missed, the sun that had shined over her in life.

Feeling the arms that had enveloped her, Mira enthusiastically hugged back, her hands just barely interlocking behind the brunette angel sitting in front of her. Her eyes once more prickled with tears, but these tears were different. They were ones of joy. She wasn't alone anymore.

Pacts were a very strange thing. They were frequently created within the Tower, but not everyone is conscious of them and what they are. They are the ties that bind two souls together, and create a link that makes the souls part of each other. This binding can be initiated and accepted in many forms, as it is a part of internal matters, not external. It is not only an agreement, but also a conversation of the heart. So, when Aya said those seven words in order to calm the little girl named Mira, it was the key to opening the bond between them. The moment Mira had accepted those feelings, the commitment the teen had foolishly made, the Pact was set in stone.

Magnus nods his head and begins to walk again, perhaps he gained a new ally"shiro, huh?" He perks his sword on his shoulder once again. "neat name, we should probably hurry" He begins to pick up the pace, eager for at least something interesting.

However the sight he saw was not what he expected, when they arrived in sights view of the two, he assumed the younger, pink haired, girl caused the scream. Yet all was clam now

Aya sighed in relief, as the younger girl returned the hug, the teen's dress becoming wet with tears that didn't seem as heavy as before. Thank goodness, the little pinkette had calmed down. However, the situation turned for worse, as the figure of a teen with a sword appeared, along with another shilouete not far behind. At the same time, noticed through a distortion of light caught in the corner of her eye, a translucent barrier started to form from the sky above them, slowly coming down over the plaza.

Aya gulped, the hand that earlier comforted the little girl in her lap came to rest upon the handle of the black battle-axe. If it wasn't bad enough, shadowy figures started to appear from the alleyways, low, canine growls and light, demented chuckles coming from the new arrivals. There were seven of them. Six of them seemed to be a variety of dogs, but they had this unnatural quality to them, as if they didn't truly exist, along with a savagery that wasn't usually seen upon such a creature. Same for the last arrival of the strange sextuplet, an older man with a clashing expression of empty eyes and a mocking grin. The Thug was holding a battered baseball bat that seemed to have several nails poking out of it. Aya's and the young pinkette's phones started to ring, and if she heard right, the other teen's phone, almost at the same time as the arrival of the new figures. Aya opened her bag and reviewed the messages on her phone, noticing some text messages about a Pact and a "Strife Perimeter". What truly caught her attention was the newest message that had probably just appeared on the other two's phones as well.

Shiro paused a moment, hm, he'd expected his new friend to reciprocate with his own name. Whatever, he could just call him sword guy. After a few more turns they found two girls huddled together. Then his new phone buzzed and Shiro quickly glanced at it, enemy programs? His confusion was somewhat abated when he saw the the weird dog creatures suddenly appear around them. Alright, so they were playing a game of some kind. That was alright, Shiro was pretty good with games. He took a few steps forward and stood next to the two girls, staff held protectively in both hands. "I don't mean to butt in gals, but it looks you've got some unwanted company." The odds were 7-4, but the four of them looked as though they had better weaponry compared to the dog guys. Of course a club could still smash your skull in, but they would just have to try to avoid that.

Shiro considered tactics for a moment. Well the most obvious thing to do was engage them one at a time before they had a chance to use their numbers to greater advantage. To that end Shiro charged the closest one, not the leader looking dude. He hurled his backpack at the thing's stomach, let out a fierce, unintelligible yell, then quickly swung his metal pole in a devastating overhead swing at the dog guy's head. Given that it was successful he would turn around and guard himself from the ones that would doubtless be coming in behind him. If not he would keep swinging as hard as he could, relying on strength and speed more than skill to overwhelm the one in front of him before he could get flanked.

Magnus follows right after his new found friend, and attacks the closest Dog being. He stabs his sword towards the stomach of the beast, then slices upwards towards the head. He frowns remembering that he forgot to share his name with his companion, he'll have to do that later.

He swipes in a circular shape to fend off the attacks from himself, he keeps a eye on the area around him. While fighting, he begons to make his way towards shiro and the two girls, the older of which has now brought out a very large battle-axe
