Speaking of starship fights, I've been super into X Rebirth lately.

X Rebirth is a 4X game, for eXpand, eXplore, eXploit and eXterminate. X Rebirth, as the name might imply, is a reboot/reimagining of the games. It's still basically the same game, but the rules have changed. Whereas before, you would start in a small, weak ship and have to buy stronger ships and more ships, now you start in a fighter that you keep the whole game. You upgrade its shields, engines and weapons, blah blah blah. You fly around, shoot ships, escort ships, dock at stuff, build stations and manage trade ships through a spreadsheet.

MATH.

I use the money to buy capital ships for war purposes.

No, I'm a high school senior and it's almost over. The subject's aren't that hard. It's just that looking back on it all, high school never seemed to be that...well, worthwhile. I really felt little satisfaction with any of the success I've had in my classes because it really felt empty. I know I'm not going to remember a majority of the stuff that I've learned this year simply because I didn't learn much. It was more of memorizing and cramming things for the test and then forget about it so I could focus on the next test. I feel like none of this has actually mattered in the long run. It was just all busy work to keep us out of the streets though it's not like that really helped with the amount of drugs and alcohol that flow into the school.

High school is a cesspool where the desire to learn and the very concept of education goes to die. I'm trapped with painfully mediocre teachers that have less charisma than a potato that somehow act as childish as the students they are teaching. There is a never ending cycle of disrespect between many of the students and teachers. None of them are in the right, hell, some of the teachers are just plain abusive and harass certain students.

I can go on and on about this, but I'd never probably end.

Helps that I live where I live too, got lucky as far as public schools go that mines considered "Pretty decent."

Though, my city and the Office are running all the good teachers out of our school with stupid BS (Can't give examples, only hearsay).

I'm very glad I took Creative Writing though, if just for the memories...

Math is also cool, I like math.

There's a lot of drug-use by teens all throughout the US, don't think you school is unique in that regard.

But sounds like the staff is pretty bad there.

But I don't really have a frame of reference for that kind of thing.

I don't think the drug use thing is unique to it. It's just something that I've noticed. It's just really concerning since the majority of the students here are taking drugs because they are under high pressure.

Really, I'm just fed up with it all.

Here's the thing. This school is in a rich area so it gets a lot in terms of taxes. I'm just one of the more of the lower middle class people that are just going there. xD Also there are good teachers here, but way too few and far between.

I really wish they would would shut up about how Kobe Bryant went to my school.

Why the hell are sports guys so damn popular? All they do us run around on a court and beat each other up. And throw balls of various shapes and sizes. *Had to look up Kobe Bryant*
