Appearance: Tius is a rather odd sight, even among Faunus, but let's get into his human traits first. He's rather tall, standing at 6'2 and 3 quarters, with light vermillion eyes and dark brown hair, both of which have slight golden highlights to them. His standard get up tends to be some blue jeans, black combat boots . . . and that's about it. His faunus features happen to include a number of sharp spikes sticking out from his shoulders, upper back, and 4 big ones coming out of his forehead like a crown, making any kind of shirt impossible for him to wear without ripping holes in them. His teeth are also naturally pointed, though that's mainly in the front, as his back teeth are closer to that of people, if a tiny bit more pointed than normal. His eyes have a long black slit for a pupil, with sclera that is slightly darker than that of normal people, and while he does have regular eyelids, he also has a second set that close sideways after every blink, which can certainly be disconcerting to most people. Not only that, but he also has a number of burnt orange scales that spread from his shoulder/upper back area, down his forearms, and some along the sides of his face, with an odd scale or two being separated from the main mass here and there. While this makes those areas tougher than normal skin, it doesn't add any real protective capabilities, much to his dismay.

Personality: Tius is a rather simple individual, easy to please and hard to anger. He's the type that will always say 'Good Morning' to everyone he meets, no matter who they are or what they may be like. Even with people that he doesn't like, he makes an effort to be polite and cordial. He's never going to be the one to start a real fight, but he's the kind that will be sure to finish it if he has to. As stated earlier, it's hard to piss him off, but one sure fire way to do it would be to make fun of or hurt one of his friends. Bullying others, especially when it comes to humans picking on other Faunus, is also another way to get under his scales, so to speak. More than anything else, Tius just can't stand bearing witness to prejudice, and will be the first to call someone out on it whenever he sees it, and that is if he doesn't just straight up clock the bully in the face.

History: Tius was born in a rather poor area of Vacuo, in one of the small cities in the fringes of society. It was a pretty rough place where one always had to watch their back, one where most people looked out for their own backs and nothing else. That wasn't the case, however, for the Draconus family. They were nothing special, a family of Faunus eeking out a living just like anyone else, but they had a reputation spanning generations, since the aftermath of the Great War, for being the caretakers of the town. They were known for generosity and kindness, hosting charities in other towns and doing their best to help others live just a tiny bit easier.

As the son of Aurarius Draconus, Tius lived rather well, and due to his family name, he was treated rather fairly despite his appearance. Over all, he would've been content to live that way forever. . . until one day. It was an average summer day like any other when the grimm attack, a swarm of Beowulves and Ursa's wrecking havoc upon them all. The local hunters staged their did their best to hold them back, put some managed to get through. Tius's mother got caught by one and, in that moment, 12 yer old Tius awakened not only his Aura, but his semblance as he rushed forward. A nearby crate of red dust that had been abandoned in the panic suddenly exploded into an inferno that wrapped around, the now scarlet flames coating his body like armor as he let out a wild roar, smacking the Grimm in the face with everything he had. It never stood a chance, it's entire body incinerated by the attack, but Tius fainted immediately after, having used up almost all of his energy in that one blow.

It would be a few days after this that one of the Hunters, who had come from Illuminate Academy, had reccomeneded to his parent's that he be sent to a Battle School, saying that his abilities would make him a great Hunter. At first, they weren't to sold on the idea, his mother worrying about her son's safety, but Tius was quick to jump at the chance. Ever since the incident, he'd been doing his best to activate his Semblance again, wanting to learn how to use it so that, when the time comes, he can help protect not only his family, but others. Before that point, he never really had a goal in his life, and while the thought of being a Hunter had crossed his mind, but he didn't think his family would ever be able to afford it. Now, with the man offering to help pay for his education, he saw no reason not to jump at the chance. It took some time, but he managed to convince his parents to let him go. He then went to one of the lower battle schools, and while the work was hard(especially the classwork, as he wasn't exactly the brightest around), he dove into it with a burning passion he had never felt before.

He had one of the teacher's help him design his gauntlets, experimented with his Semblance all the time, and over all, just did the best he could. Apparentaly, that was more then enough, because not too long after he graduated from his first battle school, he was given an invitation to come to Illuminate Academy. He accepted without a hint of hesitation, spending his last days in Vacuo back home, where he helped out around the town here and there, before heading off to Vale, excited for what the future holds.

Weapon:
Savage Arcana: A pair of gauntlets that have Dust woven into the cloth and mixed into the metal plates, it allows him to better control Dust, as well as shape it into a variety of shapes, ranging from simple to intricate. The color of the glowing center are the sign of what kind of dust he's currently using, though when he uses his semblance, it's pretty much always easy to know what kind of dust he's using. Unlike most weapons, it doesn't have any alternate forms or abilities.

Dark Destiny:
Tius' second weapon is a 6-round revolver, which of course is capable of firing off dust rounds. Now he can't really mess with this like he can with his gauntlets, so what it can do is pretty standard. When it comes to fighting at range, this is his go-to weapon, as his abilities tend to be less accurate and less effective the farther away his targets are.
Semblance:
Blood of the Ancients: This Semblance is the crux of his entire fighting style, and without it, all he really has is a gun and not much else. It basically allows him to more easily manipulate Dust, more so then most people can, and use it to augment his own physical abilities in some way. While he can do this just by being near dust, the best way for him to do it is to actually ingest it, which he can do safely thanks to his Sembalance. Not only does this 'power-him up' so to speak, but it also makes it so his body begins to generate a sort of pseudo dust for a little while, meaning he doesn't have to dip into his own stores unless he wants to do something crazy. However, the downside to this is that, while in that state, which lasts any where from 3-6 posts(depends on how much he eats), he can't use any other kinds of dust at all, severely cutting down on the versatility of his ability. Another one is that after the ability leaves him with literally no Aura after he uses and a great deal of fatigue, as it tends to burn through a lot of his inner reserves, making him very vulnerable. As a result, he uses this form of his abilities very sparingly, as it can leave him in some pretty bad spots if he's not careful when he does it.

As for what he can do with dust, the main thing is that he uses it for forming a bunch of melee weapons out of it, a different one for each type he's proficient with, as well as augment his own physical strikes. He can also lay down traps runes(takes one post to set them up, and he can set up to two at one time), which can be activated on command, and go up to 10 posts before they disperse. These can be placed upon objects as small as a baseball, allowing for some pretty tricky maneuvers with them. He also can just manipulate the elements in their raw form, which can be used to batter down his foes.

Dust: Here are the types of dust he is proficient in using, and what it augments when he uses he ingests it.
Fire: Increases his physical strength by a lot, his speed by a moderate, and lowers his Aura's defenses a bit as well. His weapon with this dust is a greatsword.
Lightning Dust:Increases his physical attack by a moderate amount, his speed and reaction times by a lot, but also lowers his defenses and awareness by a lot as well, making it good only for one on one fights. His weapon with this dust is a pair of short swords.
Earth: Increases his strength and defenses by a lot, but he becomes a lot slower as well. The weapon for this Dust is a Great Hammer.

Other: His favorite fruits are Mangos, but his favorite all time food would have to be some kind of Ham, with bacon being pretty high on the list.

Name: Russet Price
Nickname: "Russ"
Age: 17
Race: Fox Faunus

Appearance: Russet is rather short and slight, standing only at 5'4" and weighing in around 130 pounds. A pair of reddish brown ears tipped in black push up through his hair at the top of his head. His canine teeth and nails are slightly longer and sharper than normal, and his eyes are a bright orange-red. A trio of pale scars, barely noticeable against his pale skin, run from just below his left eye to his jawline. More scars are scattered across his arms and torso, a testament to the many close calls Russet has managed to survive. He prefers simple clothing in muted colors, but is rarely seen without his heavy red jacket and combat boots. In order to remain as mobile as possible, he eschews all forms of armor.

Personality: Russet is quick-witted and sharp-tongued, and generally doesn't care who he offends. He tends to see his attitude as carefree and confident, but others often refer to him as loud, reckless, or rude. Even in combat he is liable to continue running his mouth, exchanging insults and banter as often as blows. That said, he does have some sense of when to shut his mouth. In a tense situation he acts with precision and efficiency that speak to the keenness of his mind.

History: Russet was born and raised in a village west of Mistral, among the swamps that populate the region. Though the village itself was rather poor, the Price family had it worse than most. Due to his father's constant trips into the swamps to hunt in order to support his family, he was mostly raised by his mother. Even then, the two spent most of their time either begging from their fellow citizens or foraging near the edges of the settlement to stave of hunger. Eventually, Russet's father left on a trip from which he never returned, leaving his mother overtaken by sorrow. Determined to become more than either of his parents ever were, Russet lied, cheated, and stole his way into a primary combat school. After distinguishing himself at Sanctum as an able combatant and cunning scholar and strategist, Russet made his way to Illuminate Academy.

Weapon: Brutal Trick is a large bowie knife with a pair of short shotgun barrels affixed along the spine of the blade. The pair of triggers that can fire each barrel independently are midway down the handle, where Russet's first two fingers typically rest. The barrels rotate forward independently to allow the weapon to be breech loaded. He carries his weapon and ammunition in a custom black leather case across the small of his back.

Semblance: Will-O'-the-Wisp -- With a snap of his fingers, Russet creates a small colorless orb of what appears to be flame. He can then project this wisp with a minor effort of will, launching it very rapidly over a short distance, with speed diminishing greatly after about fifteen yards. When the wisp strikes a solid surface it creates an explosion of raw force. This ability functions best when augmented with Dust. Various types of Dust change the color of the wisp and add a myriad of elemental effects to the explosion.

Dust: Russet uses Dust both for his weapon and his semblance. Brutal Trick fires prepared dust cartridges, with the most basic ammunition being fire based. With Will-O'-the-Wisp, Russet can use either crystalline or powdered dust. While fire is his typical choice for this as well, ice-based dusts allow him to lock a target down and gravity dust can create some interesting effects.

Other: Russet has a fondness for grapes.

Appearance:
Jin is actually quite tall despite his slouching posture, standing an impressive 6'3". Beneath his signature cap lies a pair of matching hazel eyes, stunning in their power but dim in their intent, as if a roil of pure potential boils within, unable to escape. If Jin were more active with his abilities, one would feel only fear when meeting his gaze. As it stands, however, he most often returns glances with an uncaring, often yawning facial expression, which fails to impress many who meet him. His Caucasian skin never seems to griw pale beneath the sun.

No one can deny that Jin is an attractive man. Although his face is almost always trapped in a look of uncaring sarcasm, with half-hearted smirks and heavy eyelids, it comes off in a way that mimics the rebelliousness of modern youth. And it is only compounded by his notoriously uncaring attitude, which makes him difficult to impress or rouse. With a youthful jawline, perfect teeth, and not a single facial hair to mar his skin.

Although he is loathe to follow any specific dress code, Jin has settled down to a single uniform. A black sleeveless shirt with a logo maching that of his cap, and gray sweatpants with white sneakers to finish off the look.

Personality:
Jin is the living representation of laziness. Apathy, as one might expect, has ingrained itself in his personality so heavily that he has become an avatar for the concept to those around him--a living, breathing form given to laziness and listlessness. Whether it is through his words or his actions, the teenager known as the 'Bullseye' has attained a notorious reputation as one of the most sporadically unreliable and painfully uncaring individuals in all of the world. Despite his unwarranted success, even he cannot escape the trappings of his own personality.

To understand the true depths of Jin's apathetic nature, one has to take a look at his personal philosophy. Unlike many other aspiring Hunters, he has almost no wish to gain power or to learn. The hunger within his stomach that calls for him to reach for the top only plays second fiddle to his overwhelming desire to just relax and avoid the trouble of getting up to do anything.

This trails into his view on the world, which is somewhat cynical and entirely reminiscent of a 'rebellious teenager'. Jin finds almost no purpose in being bothered to 'try'. The way he sees it, things will eventually work themselves out in one way or the other, and whatever happens is going to happen whether or not he does anything to help or impede the events. This view is somewhat naive considering hi powers, yet he seems to stick to the idea. When pressed to a philosophical discussion about it, however, Jin almost invariably decides that it would be too much effort to defend his point of view; he often simply goes silent or falls asleep as the other person talks.

The apathy that Jin embodies is not limited to personal pursuits and his world-view; it also relates to the way that he acts and behaves in social situations. When he entertains visitors, he is almost never an integral part of the conversation. He will nod off into a haze, stare off into space, or just shake his hand dismissively when people attempt to talk to him about important events. When they do get him to join in the conversation, Jin rarely takes things seriously. He will often make sarcastic, joking comments. Others may find it rude, but some are entertained by his glib remarks and surprisingly fast tongue.

Despite being considered a lazy, purposeless individual by many, some know why Jin is called Bullseye. When something particularly dire happens that he simply cannot ignore, Jin suddenly reveals that he is incredibly capable, and that he is more than willing to obliterate those that stand in his way. He will do this as quickly as he can in order to avoid troubling himself and wasting time. If he should be brought to battle, Jin generally has two modes of thinking. On one hand, he could have been ordered by a teacher, in which case he accepts that he has no choice but to use his abilities. When this happens, he often cracks jokes, teases his opponents, or uses his sarcastic wit to entertain himself as he does what he was ordered to do. However, if he is attacked or roused from his rest by anyone other than the teacher himself, Jin reveals a dark part of his personality. He becomes incredibly irritated that someone would bother him and force him to move, and his attacks become kill-focused beyond what most would expect from him. This is what earned him the title of 'Bullseye', and it remains the sole reason why no one has dared to cross him.

History:
Jin has never been a model student nor a role model. School was a struggle for the boy, often flunking out only to retake them in the summer. Jin wasn't stupid, in fact, he was very intelligent, but his apathy held him back. His general dislike for work was what made his life at home a living hell for him. His father was never hard on him, but verbal abuse due to frustration was often dished out. Usually Jin would tune him out and do as he was told so the old man would shut up.

He was a failure, the weakest link in a family of businessmen. His brother, was the pride and joy of the family; learning the family trade in the Dust Industry, giving back to the family. Jin never found it frustrating, or was he ever envious, he simply lived life and let things be. Soon though, life for Jin would change the moment his Semblance made itself known.

One moment he was staring at the sky, then he was gazing at the intricate features of a hawk. After a few seconds of screaming and a visit to the doctor, he was given a diagnosis; he had been blessed with a Semblance. Immediately, Jin was taken, his father glad to find something that thier son was finally capable of doing. He was thrown into a training academy, and once again, his apathy nearly flunked him out. His sheer unwillingness to participate was his biggest problem. He was once again a failure, a child with no aptitude. But a Professor saw potential in him. His weapon building Professor had seen his unusual interest in guns, and his Semblances possible connection to them.

After a full year of personal training, a plethora of beatings, and a personal letter of recommendation, Jin gained admittance to Illuminate Academy.

Weapon:

Fools Gold: Staying true to his nickname, Jin sports a powerful array of transforming guns, but his main weapon is the sniper rifle. Fools Gold is capable of transforming into four smaller guns that Jin is also capable of using.

• Sniper: The most extended form of the weapon. Unlike most transforming weapons, transforming to this form can take longer than is typically convenient due to it's size, however typically this form is only used when time is not of the essence, considering that it's a very long-range weapon. The Firing mechanism is stored in the stock of the Assault mode.

• Assault Mode:The most condensed mode of the gun. It provides access to the Machine and Shotgun modes at the same time in one gun. Jin can insert clips in both parts of it at the same time. Commonly Shotgun ammo drums or Explosive ammo clips are used for the secondary ammo. The Primary Machine gun can be set to either Semi-Auto, Full-Auto, and 3-Round-Burst Fire.

• Machine Gun: Separating the secondary gun from the main gun makes it significantly lighter, allowing for Jin to carry and aim it with more agility. In addition the Machine gun is typically set to Full-Auto or Burst-Fire in this form.

• Shotgun: Similar to the Machine gun, a form in which the Secondary gun can be wielded on its own for additional agility. In this form it can act as an automatic shotgun.

• Pistol: The secondary weapon to the Sniper form, and an even lighter version of the secondary gun. The main use of this form is as an emergency back up when caught off-guard in sniper form, considering it also takes extra time to pack up that form. Although it is most obviously available in Sniper form, it can be pulled out from the Assault rifle mode as well, allowing it to be used more conveniently in situations where heavy ordinance is not necessary.

Semblance:
Sense of the Predator: Immediately, each of Jin's five senses have the option to be flipped into overdrive, bombarding his transformed mind with sensory information. The acuity of his eyes become astonishing, granting him the ability to see distances and detail that few others could ever hope to experience. They also function in a complete lack of light, allowing him to fight in absolute darkness as if it were the middle of the day. Jin's ears become highly sensitive, able to pick up sound from miles away and even hear the heartbeat of an enemy who comes within a few hundred feet. His nose becomes hyper-focused to a variety of odors, especially to blood, sweat, and endorphins, which allow Jin to essentially read the bodily functions of his enemies, giving him knowledge as to their emotions and their level of fatigue. Even his sense of touch becomes superhuman; he can block out pain completely, feel vibrations through the air, and find pressure points on non-humanoid bodies through the pulsing of their veins. These senses, when used in combat, could turn Jin into a veritable monster, able to fight in any situation with tremendous sensory advantages, if he wasn't so lazy.
