Seven pairs of eyes—again, discounting Alcedo’s three extra pairs—stared up at the night sky that was speckled with bright white spots of starlight, lost in nostalgia. Although Shanae couldn’t say for sure what each of her Pokemon were thinking, she herself was lost in thought, reminiscing about days passed long ago.

”Mom, Dad, I’m off!” barely-eighteen-year-old Leisy said, waving to her parents as she ran out the door. The adrenaline that came with her new trinkets—a shiny new standard-edition red Pokedex and a glossy new classic red-and-white Pokeball—carried her all the way to the fringes of her hometown and beyond, taking her through the forest and into the caves that bordered the valley of her hometown.

Shanae had run farther than she’d ever thought she could that first day, and she’d also met the stiffest and proudest Pokemon she’d ever meet—a puppy-sized Houndour that would one day go by ‘Ebon.’ Giving Amatorius a heartfelt squeeze that caused him to look up at her with confused eyes, Shanae smiled.

Feyhollow Town


Lui plopped down on the forest floor, placing his violin case beside him and pushing his bag off his shoulder. It was dark and he was hungry – he could at least change one of those things.

Moving his bag so it was in his lap, he opened it up and started pulling out his snack: an assortment of colorful macarons, sweet and mouth watering. There was an odd little circle of orange rocks pointing up from between the leaves, outlining an area roughly the size of a dinner plate. It was peculiar how... uniform the rocks were, all evenly spaced in a perfect circles. What were those things he'd read about in the town's tourist pamphlet? Fairy circles? Lui thought they mostly formed with mushrooms, but maybe rocks happened too. How quaint.

Lui laid a small cloth on the ground in the circle and placed his container of macarons on top of it. The rocks erupted from the ground, scattering leaves to reveal the spiked rocks were all connected to each other by a smooth orange shell – a jaw. They weren't rocks at all. They were teeth.

Lui shrieked.

Whatever it was that had clamped its jaws shut like a trap seemed to be in the process of swallowing its prize, cloth and plastic and all. Lui had scuttled backwards after falling back on his butt, staring with wide horrified eyes. The creature's own beady ways stared back.

Too quickly, the pokemon finished eating its meal. It climbed out of the shallow pit it had apparently been lurking in under the fallen leaves to reveal it was mostly just a head – a bulbous orange monstrosity comprising almost entirely of a set of jaws, a comically small insect-like body trailing after it.

The jaw turned towards him.

Oh god. This is how I die.

Its jaw opened up and lunged for him. Lui let out a panicked, strangled sound as he tried to scurry back some more out of range. But the pokemon’s teeth landed on the bag in his lap. It pulled backwards and the bag fell to the ground, still trapped in its jaws.

Lui yelled helplessly and surged forward to grab his bag, resulting in a tug-of-war until a riiiiiiip echoed through the forest and the bag's contents scattered over the floor. Lui fell back on his rear again clutching a ruined scrap of cloth that had once been his bag. The pokemon was already starting to rummage through his belongings. Lui scrambled forward and grabbed the closest thing to him – the pokedex. The cherry-red pokeball had seemed to catch the pokemon's attention and it began clamping its teeth over it, leaving little indents of scratched red paint.

Lui, with a loss of what else to do, flipped open the pokedex and pointed it at the pokemon. His hands shook as he waited for the mechanical voice.

"Trapinch is a patient hunter. It digs an inescapable pit in a desert and waits for its prey to come tumbling down. This Pokémon can go a whole week without access to any water."


"Does this look like a desert to you, sir?!" His voice was shrill and panicked, cracking on the last syllable.

The Trapinch finally managed to fit the pokeball in its mouth and swallowed it down and a muffled click could be heard. In the next moment the Trapnch glowed red and its body seemed to be sucked into itself, disappearing in a flash. The dented pokeball fell to the floor, and gave a shake. Then another. And another.

A cheery ding! chimed in the night air.

He had somehow just caught his first pokemon.

Cillian and Damian walked around town in search of a nice place to eat. Feyhollow was a quaint and relatively quiet town and there were an abundance of local restaurants and shops to choose from. However, neither Cillian nor Damian had been to the town before and thus did not have the slightest idea as to where to begin. After conversing for a while, the two settled on a humble taco cart outside the Pokemart.

”Cheap and efficient,” Cillian said, settling down with two beef tacos and a grin on his face. Having been ravenous since he’d set foot in Feyhollow, Cillian didn’t wait to dig into his meal. He’d taken out the berries he’d brought along for his Pokemon but also bought them each a taco in case they weren’t satisfied with just the berries.

”Eat up,” Cillian said, glancing at his Pokemon. Hazmat had torn into his taco without abandon despite the fact that he’d probably never seen food so oddly shaped, but at least he was eating. Kelby, on the other hand, glared at his taco suspiciously as he stared at it over his berry. Laughing, Cillian showed the Mudkip his own taco. “See Kel? There’s nothing wrong with the food. It’s not bad either—just ask Haz here.”

Although he didn’t look entirely convinced, the Mudkip still brought himself to nibble on the edge of his taco. A minute later, the taco was gone.

”Well,” Cillian said, laughing and rubbing Kelby’s head, ”Guess who likes tacos?”


Shanae Eller

Central City Outskirts

”Okay you lot, let’s get back to Central. I’m tired,” Shanae said, sighing before looking down at the Jigglypuff in her arms. ”Would you mind if we put off training until tomorrow morning? Maybe we’ll catch a ride on the train and head out of town.”

Amatorius nodded his agreement, yawning and rubbing his eyes. Smiling, Shanae stood up and returned all her Pokemon except Ebon. As a nocturnal Pokemon, the Houndour was still wide awake, although Shanae could tell that he was tired from the way he flicked his ears a little more than necessary.

”Let’s get back soon, Ebon,” Shanae said, keeping up the pace behind her Pokemon. Having taken such a long break from Pokemon training, Shanae had been only too enthusiastic to set out again, and she’d ended draining her entire team—a rookie mistake that she couldn’t blame on anyone else but herself. ”Bedtime’s at ten from now on,” Shanae said jokingly. Her Houndour looked back to give his trainer a funny look, snorting when she just grinned goofily back in the moonlight.

Eventually Lui recovered from his trauma enough to gather his things (and his wits) in a messy heap in his arms. He'd have to buy a new bag. At least his violin had been untouched. Lui looked down hesitantly at the pokeball still on the ground.

It seemed innocent enough – candy apple red and snowy white, with little teeth marks and scratches circling around it. It was still. It was quiet. It held a monstrous fiend, locked away from the world.

Lui was still really sad about his macarons.

Working up the nerve, Lui picked up the pokeball and placed it atop his pile of belongings. He really needed to get out of this forest. It was no longer charming and mystical in the dark – it was frightful and malevolent, hiding terrifying creatures ready to attack. Lui tripped his way past trees and in circles, hoping to find some hint of civilation.

Amazingly, after another hour of wandering, he did.

The night lights of Feyhollow Town misted through the trees, like a lighthouse in a storm. Lui gave a half-sob of relief and rushed towards them, the dangerous pokeball he was carrying all but forgotten.

Shanae yawned heartily as she rode the elevator up to her floor. Having often crashed in her office on late nights, Shanae didn’t think people would mind if she did on her supposed ‘vacation.’ After all, the comfy loveseat for one was there for this very reason—to double as a bed.

”Wake me up in the morning, Ebon,” Shanae told her Houndour before plopping down onto the cushiony chair. She assumed the fetal position as she draped the blanket over herself, patting the space at her feet. ”Wanna come sleep with Mommy?”

Ebon flashed her an unamused look but hopped up nonetheless, spinning around in a circle before settling down in a nice black-and-orange circle. ”Night, Ebon,” Shanae said, a small smile on her lips as she dozed off.

Damian smiled eating himself a nice plate of tacos. He handed one down to his growlithe with a smile. The food was great, he wasn't the biggest fan of meat as he had no idea how they got it or where. But it would have to do. Damian looked up to cillian and gave a small smile and a small soft chuckle.

"how are your tacos?" he asked with a small smile. He knew the boy had picked the place but he didn't know if he was enjoying himself. Damian had gotten a small bit of happiness being around Cillian. He wasn't sure why or how, but it was nice . Damian looked up from his daze and awaited an answer

Ella couldn't help but chuckle, rolling her eyes slightly at Raven's stereotyping. "What's not to like about bugs? Especially if they're as adorable as this one." Bugs, now she thought about it, seemed overlooked by people in general. There were particular ones she'd seen many times in contests, such as Vivillon and Beautifly, and in the battles she'd seen on TV, some people favoured ones like Scyther and Heracross. Apart from that select few, though, bugs weren't the most popular choice. It was a refreshing change to see a trainer with a Bug-type like this one.

Her smile diminished at the comment about her Trubbish. Treasure, who had started slowly approaching the Weedle, backed away and hid behind Ella again. "Huh? But look at her! Look at those little teeth! And Pokemon like this can be such great friends," she said. She hoped this guy wouldn't turn out like some of the other people she'd met, but it was already obvious he found her and her Pokemon odd. At least he was being reasonably friendly.

She looked from him to the girl who had just approached. "Hey! I'm Ella." Although Leisy's attitude towards Treasure was much better than Raven's, the Trubbish took one look at her and hopped backwards.

"It's ok, she just wants to say hi," Ella reassured the Trubbish, crouching down and petting her, earning a disgusted look from somebody walking past. Ignoring the stranger, Ella looked over at Leisy. "This is Treasure. She's a little shy. Yeah, you don't get all that many Trubbishes around Feyhollow either, but they turn up now and again." Maybe that was why Treasure was so timid, Ella thought. There were few of her kind around. "I met her by a trash can while cleaning up the pageant hall a few weeks ago, though I only just actually caught her."

Treasure eyed the little foil and sweet wrapper figurine in her trainer's hand. "You want this too?" Ella passed it to her Pokemon, who began munching on it. "It's alright, I can always make more."

Taking note of the Pokedex that marked Leisy as a trainer, it was Ella's turn to ask a question. "So, what Pokemon do you have?"

While Leisy didn’t immediately apply the term ‘adorable’ to the Trubbish like Ella seemed to, she could see how trainers could find even the strongest, meanest, and ugliest of their Pokemon so. After all, even Gyarados were known to be fiercely loyal, showing a softer side to their trainers.

”Hey little guy,” Leisy said, drawing back slightly when the Trubbish hid behind her trainer. She watched as Ella stooped down and fed a spare wrapper to her Pokemon, fascinated. ”Trubbish can eat wrappers? Wow! I mean, of course, but like,” Leisy said, unable to come up with something better to say as the Pokemon continued munching on the shiny foil. ”Amazing!”

At Ella’s question, Leisy grinned and glanced to the Fletchling perched on her shoulder. ”Well here’s Bidein, or ‘Dei,’ my Fletchling who’s small and light enough for me to carry on my shoulder everywhere,” Leisy started. The mentioned Fletchling puffed up his chest feathers proudly, although he kept a wary eye on the unfamiliar Pokemon below him.

Reaching up to stroke his feathers, Leisy laughed a little. ”It’s okay, Dei. She’s a nice Trubbish—she, right?” Leisy asked before continuing to list her Pokemon. ”I also have a Piplup named Naunet who’s not exactly built for travelling over ground and a Larvitar named Devinco, or ‘Devi’ for short. Oh, you haven’t met him yet, Raven. Just caught him,” Leisy said with a grin before it dimmed slightly. ”I should probably let him out soon, but probably not somewhere with so many people.”

Feyhollow Town

”They’re great!” Cillian said, patting his full stomach and looking over at his Pokemon. ”I think we’re all stuffed. As soon as you’re done, wanna go find some place to crash for the night? I think we’re both exhausted,” Cillian said, making note of Damian’s daze-like tone. ”At least I am.”

Waiting for Damian and his Pokemon to polish off their own plates, Cillian took some time to research the area around Feyhollow. While looking at his team, it’d occurred to him that his team was missing the third member of the quintessential trio of elements: he had a fire-type, a Charmander named Hazmat; a water-type, a Mudkip named Kelby; but no grass type.

”Say, what do you think about some Pokemon hunting tomorrow morning?” Cillian asked, looking up at Damian.

"ELLA!"
 Vivian's excited bubbly voice bounces amongst the trees as she comes racing towards the small group of people from quite some distance away.

"Elly" Viv calls again ensuring she caught her friends attention, frantically waving her hand overhead while running.
Vivian's long dark hair and pleated skirt fluttered about her legs as her eager excitement carried her to her old friend.

By the time she reached the distant group she was exhausted and could do nothing but hunch over, supporting herself with her hands on her knees and draw in deep exasperated gasps as she frantically tried to regain her breath.

"E" *breath* "Ella" Viv lifts a hand gesturing for everyone to give her a moment"Sor"*quick breath*"ry"...
She stands up tall, opening her shoulders, still panting. Her bright green eyes fall upon her friend and a smile exploded on her face.
"I'm"*gasp* "back!"

And with those last words she could contain herself no longer and leapt at her dear old friend wrapping her arms around her tightly as she embraces her in a big hug. Despite being a couple of years younger the two were nearly the same height.
After a lengthy heart felt hug Vivian looks around as if just noticing Leisy, Raven and all the Pokemon for the first time.

"Uh, oh... Hi" She says, her red cheeks flushing just a little more from embarrassment. She holds out a hand to the stranger. "I'm Vivian, nice to meet you."

Tommy nodded in agreement and soon they were within sight of quaint little cottages and shops and restaurants. Already Tommy spotted two or three that looked like he would be able to get some more travel money performing in for a couple of days between trips out into the forest for a new friend or two. After a short amount of exploring and reluctant direction asking on the part of Tommy, the Pokecenter stood in front of them. "I'll probably take a few extra minutes longer than you will to get settled. Need to send a letter to mom and dad letting them know I made it to Feyhallow alright. Meet in front of that waffle house we saw on our way in in, say...twenty minutes?"

Name: Atana Mountain Range

Lore:
The Atana Mountain Range stretches across several hundred miles to the far north of Central City where the air is colder and crisper to the touch. The magnificence of the mountains draws many a hiker and nature lover, but trainers and researchers will also find themselves travelling far and wide to journey up the mountain and into its secret caverns where a multitude of rare Pokemon are said to dwell.

The Atana Caverns are divided into two types: Icy and Deep. The Icy Atana Caverns are the shallower caverns found upwards the mountain where Ice, Dark, Water, Ground, and Rock type Pokemon have been documented to dwell. Journey far enough into a cavern and you will find yourself within the Deep Atana Caverns—caverns full of rare and mysterious Pokemon. Here trainers have been said to find Dark, Psychic, Fairy, Water, Rock, Ground, Metal, Ice, and Dragon Pokemon. Venturing into the caverns can be hazardous as the caverns are a sort of labyrinth in their own right, almost completely untouched by civilization. If lucky, a trainer may even come across a cavern full of natural crystals and gems, although respect for the mountain often persuades trainers not to pilfer its beauties.

Outside, the mountain is still a treacherous place often billowing with blizzards and pitfalls of snow or even the rare avalaunch. If trainers are not careful, they will easily find themselves injured or worse, so Poke Corp guidelines recommend that only experienced trainers attempt the hike into the labyrinth of caverns or to the mountain’s peak. As one of the tallest mountains in the region, the view from the top of Mt. Atana is awe-inspiring as one will be able to see for miles and miles around, with the ocean on one side and the rest of the region on the other. Towards the top of the mountain trainers can find Ice, Rock, Ground, Metal, and Flying type Pokemon. However, some have reported sightings of dragon types that have wandered outside the mountain or simply journeyed out to stretch their wings. Such sightings have only been documented a few times as most dragon types stay well within the safety of the caverns.

The legends of Kyurem, the dual ice-dragon type legendary stem from the peaks of Mt. Atana where it is said that lucky trainers may catch a sight of the fantastical Pokemon when it is not deep in slumber somewhere in the heart of the mountain’s labyrinth of caverns. Rayquaza, the lord of the skies, is also said to grace the peak of Mt. Atana with his presence at times, clearing the stormy clouds that so often bring blizzards in their wake to reveal the brilliantly blue skies.

The tales these two legendary dragons have spread far and wide since locals enjoy telling stories of such sightings to tourists and travelers, but there is no substantial evidence to prove any of the stories true. Rather, visitors are encouraged to visit the icy shrine located in a cave towards the top of the mountain and see the extremely lifelike rendering of Regice that locals take such pride in. The shrine has been there for as long as memory goes, as has the statue, so there is no reason to believe that it is anything but. However, locals still advise travellers not to touch lest they incur the wrath of the legendary Pokemon that was said to have occupied the hidden cave so many years ago.


Atana Range Pit Stops:

Scattered throughout the lower parts of the range as well as at the foot of the mountains, these small-sized shops offer what trainers absolutely cannot go without. These shops cater towards skilled trainers rather than beginners due to their location.




Atana Mountain Range Mission Board

At the foot of Mt. Atana is a large bulletin board encased in glass where the locals post up their requests for trainers brave enough to scale the mountain or venture into the caverns. Skilled trainers also post requests here to test other trainers, and trainers who wish to take a request can simply request the pit stop owner to open the case for them so they can retrieve the correct paper.

Lui trudged into town, exhausted, defeated, but no less relieved. There were dead leaves in his hair, dirt on his clothes, and a feral monster contained only by a piece of dented metal in his arms.

It was nearing midnight it seemed, and the street lamps cast a misty glow over the town. Feyhollow seemed to be almost entirely asleep and Lui felt the urge to join in this sweet endeavor. He was just starting to look at street signs to search for the inn he had booked earlier in the day when his stomach gave a sound like an Arcanine's growl.

The fiend had eaten his snacks and he'd spent all of dinnertime wandering hopelessly in the forest. He needed food.

And so with a small sigh to himself, Lui took another step forward and began his quest to find a respectable establishment that was still open.

Damian jumped up in his seat excitedly. "that would be amazing" he said with an excited tone. Completely ready to hunt Pokemon. But for now he really wanted to get somewhere for the night. "we should really find somewhere to ssleep. It is really starting to get late" he said with a yawn taking not of the dark sky. It appeared it was around midnight and it seemed it was about time to be finding a place to crash before it was to late to find somewhere.

Looking down at his pokedex Damian noticed a place that caught his eye. It was a simple and cheep inn but what caught his eye was the 24hr check in. The place also had complementary food as long as you we're there but that wasnt currently what was important. That wouldn't be important until morning.

"come on let's go. I found a place that has 24 hour check in. Let's get moving" Damian said as he got up and started heading towards the in. As they approached the building it was much bigger than expected. It wasn't all that big but three stories was big for a cheap motel. The building was darkly colored and hard to notice this late at night.the boys would have more than likely passed it if it hadn't been for the luminescent sign in the window with the name and 'open 24hrs" written on it. Turning and stopping he looked up at Cillian "so should we share a room or do you want to be separate?" @Dusksong

"Hey, it's alright," Ella said, noticing Treasure return the Fletchling's wary expression. Her eyes widened at Leisy's mention of her other Pokemon. "A Larvitar? You're so lucky! I've never actually seen one up close, but they're so cute! Those little grumpy faces!"

At the sound of a familiar voice calling her name, she spun around. Her face instantly lit up with an excited smile. "Vee-Vee!! It's been so long!" she squealed, hugging her friend. They'd contacted each other a few times, but it had been several months since they'd seen each other, and Ella hadn't expected Vivian to visit her hometown so early. "I missed you! It's so good to see you again!"

With a yelp, the Trubbish at Ella's feet bounced several paces away. "No need to be scared," she reassured the Pokemon. "Vee-Vee, this is Treasure." She knew that, no matter how many other people gave her weird looks for her unconventional choice of starting Pokemon, Vivian wouldn't.

It wasn't long before the town came into view. A pleasant atmosphere, Cici thought, with its rows of trees and flowerbeds along streets of old-fashioned buildings. It probably wouldn't be the best place for any heavy music, but there was a good number of more mellow songs she could play here.

After spending a while walking around the town, Cici was sure she and Tommy had wandered past the same few shops several times. Oh well. Even if they were lost, at least this was a chance to enjoy the scenery.

Finally, they managed to find their way to the Pokecentre in the middle of the town. "Ok, it's a chance to take a quick rest anyway," she said. She'd enjoyed spending the day travelling and exploring, but her feet were starting to ache. "Meet you then."

With that, she headed inside, over to the desk, and asked about rooms. Once the nurse had shown her to one and given her a key, Cici put her bag and guitar case to one side and let herself flop down onto a bed. Rolling her shoulders as she leaned forward, she checked the time. Midnight.

"Well, that was your first full day of putting up with me," she said with a chuckle to both her Pokemon. Forte glanced from the new surroundings to her with a muffled but cheerful squeak, and Dulcet fluttered up onto her trainer's head, where she started dozing.

Leisy’s eyes widened a little when Ella talked about her Larvitar, but she concurred with everything said. There really wasn’t any other way to say it—Devi was just adorable, broody eyes and all.

A girl came running over, breathless but excited nonetheless. Evidently she recognized Ella, and the two embraced before the girl looked over and noticed Leisy, holding out a hand in greeting. Leisy took the hand, shaking it.

”Leisy,” she said, a friendly smile on her lips. She was meeting so many new people today! ”Nice to meet you, Vivian.”

Leisy let the two girls converse with each other as they seemed to have needed some time to catch up. Sitting down on the brick ledge bordering the tree around which the trainers had gathered, Leisy unhooked her two other Pokeballs and released her Pokemon. Naunet seemed happy to be out and about again, letting out a high-pitched “Pip!” before looking to the Pokemon next to her her curiously. Beside her stood Devinco, grouchily looking around at his surroundings and frowning sullenly.

”Hey Devi,” Leisy said, waving to her Pokemon with a bright smile. ”Sorry I didn’t let you out earlier. Figured that you didn’t want to walk the distance back to town any more than I did.”

Bidein chrpred his fifty cents, indignant when Leisy laughed. ”Dei, you didn’t walk. Maybe a little flying, but walking?” Leisy asked, grinning before scratching the Fletching’s chin. ”I wouldn’t make you do such a thing.”

Looking to her side, Leisy waved a hello to Raven. ”Hey! How’s the Weedle?” Leisy asked, looking at the Pokemon that was munching on something contently from his perch on the foliage. ”He looks happy.”


Cillian Weiss

”I’m fine with rooming together,” Cillian said with a shrug. ”Saves money, and I don’t have much anyways. Just the spare change I made from working summers in high school. Lifeguard, if you can believe it.”

Turning to the clerk at the front desk, Cillian stated his order: ”1 room and two beds.” The lady nodded and made a note on a notebook before handing it to Cillian, indicating that he should fill out the blanks. ”Great. Paperwork,” Cillian said, rolling his eyes but filling the necessary boxes out before handing it back.

“Just be glad this is all the paperwork you’re doing,” the clerk sniped, a polite smile on her face as she entered the information into the system and handed Cillian the keys. “All set. Have a good night.”

”Off we go!” Cillian joked, leading the way towards the back of the building. Their room was on the second floor, and Cillian ascended accordingly, unlocking the correct room with a sound ‘click.’ ”Two beds, a telly, and a bathroom. All the essentials,” he said, walking in and plopping headfirst onto his bed. ”Damn I’m tired.”

"Oh, that's a Pokemon!" Viv says with excited amusement as she bends down to examine the trubbish giving it a gentle inquisitive smile."Hi there little guy, Treasure huh, well ain't you interesting." As Leisy releases more Pokemon Vivian is hit with a sudden realisation, remembering something important she eagerly shoots upright. With a wide smile she begins digging into the satchel hanging on her side.
"I have just the thing for situations like this." she says eventually removing a slim light pink device from her bag. After a moment of inquisitive fumbling it finally snaps open revealing itself to be a pokedex.

With a wide proud smile Vivian aims the device at each Pokemon one by one and listens intently to the electronic voice.

"Now that's six!" Viv says excitedly with a squeal as she packs her pokedex away. Something new then dawns on her as she looks at everyone else's Pokemon."Oh, wait, should I get mine out too?" she asks, her bright demeanour suddenly dropping to something more serious and concerned. Again she rummages through her little rucksack as she mumbles to herself "C'mon Vee, your doing it wrong already. Grr."

Suddenly from within the bag there's a soft click, Vivians eyes widen in fear as she realises what just happened, but it's too late. A bright red flash glows from within her bag, followed by a buzzing zap.
A puff of pollen shot into the air as the small bag expanded like a balloon. Slowly a grumpy little flabebe floated out of the clutter, smoothing out its crumpled precious white flower. It lets out an angry 'quip'.

"Oh Flabebe, I'm such a cluts, I'm so sorry." Disappointed in herself Viv sighs deeply and slumps her head. "I don't know what I'm doing, my mother knew how upset I've been since things in the big city didn't work and I know she is only trying to help, but I just don't know if I will be any good at this whole Pokemon thing. I don't know what to do, I don't know if I'm ready."

Vivian looks at the other trainers, envious of how calm and comfortable they are with their Pokemon. "What if I do it wrong? What if Flabebe never likes me or I get her sick or hurt?" Viv pouts, feeling overwhelmed and under-confident.

Raven listened to introductions get made and then- more introductions get made. To be honest it all happened a little fast. Ella and Vivian were his two new friends. He was somewhat unsurprised by the fact that the Trubbish, er, Treasure, ate trash. Weedle meanwhile seemed somewhat intimadtaed by the rapidly increasing number of things nearby. Between the two new humans and the new Pokemon it was too much for the little guy. He retreated, one leaf still steadily being muched, up Raven's body and weasled under his hat on his head. Raven laughed, apprantly his head was a hotspot for Pokemon. He also shook Vivian's hand wtih a brief introduction of "I'm Raven, Vivian's a nice name, almost as pretty as you." he said with a smile, a wink, and a confident heh. His attention was brought back to Lesiy. "Yes, he seems to be doing well enough, too many people around for him right now though." Seeing Leisy release her Pokemon he did the same. Oliver looked around curiously and immediatly went to his designated spot on Raven's head, only to find his spot taken. Oliver half emitted a growl but upon seeing the brief moment of terror on Weedle's face changed its mind, snuggling in next to it. Raven's hat now looked a little silly with two large bulges under it. Vivi then let take out a wierd pokedex and released a- Raven scanned it quickly, Flabebe from her bag. "Awwww its like a flower fairy." Raven said, amused by its grumpiness.

Seeing the trainers beside her pull out their respective pokedexes, Leisy thought it alright to take hers out as well. Out the black-and-white device came, proving to be as useful as it ever was, especially when she noticed a white Pokemon that clung tightly to a flower—or was it part of a flower entirely?

Flabebe: It draws out and controls the hidden power of flowers. The flower Flabébé holds is most likely part of its body.


Leisy’s eyes widened as she lowered her Pokedex to give the odd Pokemon another look. Sure she knew that Pokemon could resemble flowers or even be flowers, but have a flower be a part of its body altogether? ”That’s so cool!” Leisy gushed to Vivian, but the fellow trainer looked distraught and unhappy rather than excited as Leisy was. ”Vivian, are you okay?” Leisy asked, frowning and walking over to the girl.

Pokemon Types: Steel, Rock, Fire, Ground

Lore: A city built at the base of a large mostly dormant volcano, Ironforge is a place that's always building bigger. Whether it’s developing a new mine near the volcano for gold or sulfur, expanding the tram system it has, or building another refinery. However things are often abandoned as quickly as they're built. A mine may be built quickly on speculation and abandoned within weeks and the new buildings built to house the workers go into disuse. As such it's a city both rife with activity and disrepair, a mass of new energy and forgotten things. As such Pokemon can often be found within the disused parts of the city or abandoned mines. Fire Pokemon seek the heat of old refineries. Steel Pokemon consume old unused buildings. Earth and Ground Pokemon of all sorts are found within the mines. On occasion these Pokemon can become a problem when they are in areas that come back into use or that aren't entirely abandoned and as such trainers are usually welcomed.


Poke Mart: Poke Marts aren't hard to find and they come in all sorts of shapes and sizes. From large three story affairs to tiny Pop&Son's shops, you'll be sure to find something that can supply you with what you need.



Request Board

Boards are set up all across the city with plenty of roam to pin requests as well the materials necessary to write one already available. It's not unusual to see several requests on any given board for an assortment of reasons. The city allows trainers to register acceptance of requests via Pokedex and instructions for doing so are also available at the boards.
