That is an interesting bit of clairvoyance Thomas has access to while he's meditating. I'd worry that the GM would call me out for meta-ing, personally.

Which part?

The first paragraph isn't at all Thomas. It is omniscient Narrator.
Thomas has no idea what's going on over the in kitchen as noted by the second line.
Although I suppose I could have made it more clear that it was merely commentary.
Then again, given that Thomas is 1-2 hours ahead of everyone else as established by Lady A he could be retrospectively clairvoyant? Or some like that, either way the first paragraph is a narrator narrating either past meals (in the three days for example) Keystone had made, or in the cave for the matter. Either way I suppose it is my writing style tends to blend limited character thoughts with omniscient narration.

The second paragraph is Thomas and his thoughts.

Yeah, it looks like a metagame. Simply because it isn't clear that there is a narrator. (A narrator could be construed as an NPC which is under the jurisdiction of the GM) - so hence forth, no third party narration, just so things remain clear and concise since Thomas has no clairvoyance (that is something that would have to be determined by GM in game if an attempt was made)

@Lucius Cypher No, not free to make up details. You have to take what is already at play in game and then look to see more. After which then I can say if Njat picks up on anything new.

@The Grey Dust Okay, cannot interact with characters two hours ahead of time because there is no chance to know where they are at that time. Gonna need an edit on that to clear it out. (It just won't work with them all in the town together.)

Other note to the rest, got permission from Sigil to autohit Keystone with the slap.

@The Grey Dust Well yeah, you don't know where the NPC will be then. For all we could know a roll could end him up dead. Not to mention, how could he tell anything about Njat two hours in the future? If you are going to be anywhere but up in the room it just won't work. People come and go from the tavern. The group could still be talking or they could have turned in. Njat and Chern could be in there or not. It is too much to cover without any knowledge of how to. He has to stay confined and away from everyone until the time is made up.

Only thing I can say is keep with the mediating posts or request an edit to cut down on the time he was sitting there.

That's a fair point. I had thought NPCs were static and had some sort of literary device of plot armor round them.
I'd didn't fully expect Femnal to know where Ntaj is per say, could have overhead something. Or just simply state he doesn't know/give a damn and leave Thomas to his meal.

With respect to editing the time down, the character isn't designed that way, so he'd be even more useless with one spell.

@The Grey Dust No, NPC's aren't static, they are just as susceptible to death as any other character and movement. What happens to them helps form what happens to everyone else. He might be able to answer when the time catches up but right now, even I don't know where he will be in two hours. It's all random.

And yeah, you could. It is early in the evening. His meditation could be cut back and he do more over night. But that is up to you. Thing is, can't push forward the rest of everyone's time just for 1 character. It is easier to deal with 1 character adjusting his time than to expect the rest to. (Part of the consequences for time skipping forward.)

@The Grey Dust Here, how about this - cut back on the time - and we can let it be reworked for your character that mediation for his spells counts as 3/4's the effect of sleep. So for every 4 hours of mediation he gets 3 hours of "sleep" in there. That would at least take care of meditation vs sleep issues. Then you can cut back on his meditation time, have him come down and see the group and Femnal as they are now. (It's been a little more than an hour with everything.) - then he can go back to it later on. \

If that works, make the edit and tag me when it is done so I can edit a reaction for the others in. If not, out of ideas.
