After succesfully completing the newest and strongest set of Ranger powers, Billy needed a new team of Rangers to wield them in the battle against evil. He began recruiting a team from the heroes throughout the multiverse. His first recruit wasn't a choice, it was a demand of his host reality's most powerful authority Time Force. Their Quantum Ranger was to be the Commander of this team.

Billy and Wes traveled searched the Multiverse looking for suitable candidates. Numerous candidates were chosen and their records were strictly reviewed, many candidates were eventually deemed unworthy for a multitude of reasons. One candidate Billy was hoping for would have brought the most interesting perspective of all Zedd from an universe where the Power Rangers were evil and Zedd fought to stop them. Zedd refused, because he couldn't stomach the idea of becoming a Power Ranger himself but wished them luck.

Their first recruit was their Red Ranger, Zane Wulf from a universe where Power Rangers were called Super Sentai. Followed by the Orange Ranger, Tom Oliver a clone of the late Tommy Oliver. T.J. Johnson their Blue Ranger a former Turbo and Space Ranger, Billy wondered how much this version of TJ was similar to his. Danny Delgado their Gold Ranger Wes vehemently opposed due to Danny's sickeningly positive attitude. Mike Corbett their Black Ranger was not a Power Ranger in name but in every other aspect he was.

They were going to look into recruiting more before taking the fight to their nameless foe but they could not wait any longer.

The golden multiverse ranger? Danny needed to hear that again.

"The gold multiverse ranger." Billy did as he was asked and repeated himself. The old gentleman had appeared a few days ago at Danny's flower shop, asking for the young man by name. After befriending him, billy dropped the bomb, revealing his knowledge about the Wild force rangers and everything else.

Currently, they were still sitting at the flower store, discussing the prospect of defending every universe ever. It was a daunting task, but if billy came up o approach him, them he must see something that Danny didn't.

"Thank you Mister Cranston. If you're really sure about this, I can't say no." He smiled a rather goofy smile and leaned forward over a small table. "I'm sure everyone will understand when I come back."

Billy was kind and patient with people, but Danny's exhausting smile and overbearing optimism was starting to wear on him. "If that's a yes, we'd best be going then. We don't have a lot of time to waste."

"But-" as they stood, Damn rose a hand to ask a question, only to be cut off by Billy.

"Forget that. We have no time." He put a wrist communicator to his mouth and pushed a button on his side. "Prep the Libra Voyager and warp me and Mister Delgado back to base. We have our gold." He lowered his hand and suddenly took Danny's just as a light began to consume him.

The next moment, they were both at their new command station. Danny was too excited to pay attention, and began looking at the wonderful technology around him. He wasn't super big into technology, but all of this astounded him.

"Delgado." Bill chirped, getting the young man's attention once again. "I know you're excited... as a matter of fact, go ahead. Look around. We'll call you when it's time to meet the group.

T.J had retired from being a Power Ranger eighteen months ago after he heard the news about his father's condition, when he left he knew that his place would in the team would be taken by someone else. Because of that even after his father passed away half a year ago and he told his family his secret, he was stuck in the life of a civilian, but not for much longer.

About twenty minutes ago he was approached by someone who looked like Billy before he left for Aquitar and who told him about the multiverse and his plan to form a new ranger team. While T.J did notice the older man looking intensely with some strange emotion in his eyes, he saw no reason to either doubt or refuse him, though the Ranger did ask for some time to let his family know.

Once T.J had taken care of all that he headed for the meetingplaza he and old Billy had agreed on. "I'm ready." The old man grabbed a communicator. "Get the Lupus Voyager ready and take us home, the Blue Ranger has joined the team."

When he heard the word Voyager the current and former Blue ranger couldn't help but think back to his trusty Mega V3, though he hoped he would get a non-vehicle Zord this time.

Ever since he and the Rangers had given up their powers Mike missed it, sure as member of security he still helped people but it wasn't the same. He constantly had to fight the urge to just up the Magna Blaster and travel the galaxy as Magna Defender on his own, but he knew that wouldn't work. So naturally when the old man he had befriended while patrolling Mirinoi revealed that he knew abut his secret identity and needed his help in a new team of ranger, he accepted immediately.

Before he could say or do anything else, Billy as the recruiter was called took out a weird device and started talking into it. "We have our Black Ranger, take the to of us to the base and finish getting the Taurus Voyager ready."

As soon as he was done Billy grabbed Mike's hand and a strange light enveloped both of them. The next thing he knew Mike was somewhere he had never seen before, though even from a glance he could tell the place was incredibly high-tech, even more so than the space Station he had fought to defend.

The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers were on a distant planet securing an ancient mystical artifact Zordon wasn't to clear on the specifics all they knew was that it held the power to defeat the Machine Empire.

Jason, Billy, Zack, Trini, Kat, & Tom were neck deep in Cogs. Tom with the power of the Green and White Ranger was doing the most damage, but he couldn't do it alone he siphoned off some of the power to Kat to give her Power Bow more strength and give her more protection.

They were about to be overrun by the Cogs and their five bug themed generals, when suddenly several blasts massive fire balls significantly thinned them out. Tom was leery about the new comer because whoever it was riding on something that looked an awful lot like Serpentera. "Jason take everyone and get the Zeo. I will handle this with our new ally." Tom took back the power from Kat. The five original Rangers ran to the abandoned citadel.

A purple Power Ranger leapt from the belly of the beast and joined Tom. "Interesting." Was all the new Ranger said. They fought and defeated the Machine Empire generals.

"Tom I know you want to stay and help your friends, but you are needed to defend not only your Earth, this universe, but the every possible universe in existence from a threat far greater than any Power Ranger in the entire multiverse has ever seen. You will become the Orange Ranger." Before Tom could respond to the Purple Ranger his friends came back as the Zeo Rangers. "Tom we came back as...." Kat stopped when they realized they weren't needed. "Tom we scoured the place but there were only five crystals." Tom knew what that meant his powers were not strong enough to fight against the Machine Empire. "I am going with our friend" Before Tom could finish his sentence Wes interrupted. "He has been selected to join an elite team of Rangers fighting a threat greater than your Machine Empire." Wes opened up the dragon mouth on his staff and placed his transformation globe into it. He walked up to Tom and closed the mouth. The globe expanded to surround them both and they were taken back to their base.

As the Dragon Zord descended upon the world of the MagiRanger, they were surprised to be greeted immediately by Zane... who was already kitted out to leave. When Wes and Billy exited the zord, Zane drew his WolSabre and stuck it into the ground in front of him.
"You are looking for allies against a threat beyond universes, correct? I am Zane Wolf, Wolzard Fire of the MagiRangers, and I have been selected to join you." Picking up his WolSabre, he joined the two others to head to their base.

Wes looked over at Billy. "Did you contact this guy already?" Billy shook his head no. "I am Commander, Wes Collins you will be our Red Ranger." Billy tossed him his Cosmo Morpher and Cosmo Change Globe. Billy proceeded to show him what to do.

At base Wes made the introductions to everyone. "We are a branch of an organization known as Time Force. We officially don't exist. Our Ranger powers don't officially exist. I may not always be available I have duties as the Quantum Ranger. Pointing to the Morpher embedded in his left cybernetic arm."

Billy discovered the threat when his universe began to colonize another and eventually found it a charred ruin. Long story short, their only Ranger team was eventually sent to stop an attack by a still unnamed evil, only one came back his morpher destroyed and died a few hours later. His boss demanded he shut the machine down, a wise decision but one that Billy couldn't live with so he came here, another wise decision. He brokered a deal with the leader of Time Force General Logan. Billy would develop the strongest powers, our powers, and recruit from the multiverse the Rangers to use them. Logan's only condition was that I served as your leader."

Billy directed everybody's attention to a giant viewscreen of this. "This is the monster that killed the Lightspeed Rescue Rangers." Billy changed the viewscreen to two different pictures this & this "The one on the left is their foot soldier, the easiest ones. The one on the right we believe to be an upgraded version of their foot soldier. As Wes said we do not know who they are or what their goals are. The only thing we have seen so far is complete and total destruction." Billy turned their direction to the device that allows them travel to other universes. He began cycling through all the various destroyed Earths showing them every continent of every Earth. "As you can see they leave nothing standing." He switches to the Earth where the Lightspeed Rangers died. "This is the one where my Lightspeed Rangers died, from my studies they only attack Earth. Here is Mirinoi from the same universe." He switches to it, it was under attack by their enemy. "Everyone go now!" Wes and Tom were the closest to Multiverse Transporter they morphed and ran through.

Leo Corbett the Magna Defender was about to be destroyed when Wes shot his attacker in the head. Mike Corbett the Blue Ranger thanked the new Purple Ranger.

Before T.J had a time to get acquainted with the Multiverse Rangers, Old Billy gave them a quick briefing on their enemy and situation before sending them of on their first mission. Following the example of Wes and someone who was probably an alternate Tommy he morphed and headed to the Transporter, messing around with what seemed to be multi-part and multi-functional weapon.

The blue ranger had too much experience to allow his curiosity to distract him during battle, so when he arrived he simply attached the black blue piece to the red part and tried the resulting claw-like weapon out on the first standard foot soldier he came across. As expected it made short work of his enemy.

Since Mike had a lot to take in he was thankful for the lecture Billy and Wes gave the newcomers, it wasn't a lot of info but it was more than what he had when starting as the Magna Defender. Since he and the Lost Galaxy Rangers had helped the Lightspeed Rescue squad at one time he really hoped he could ask Billy for more info on them, but there was no time, as an alternate Mirinoi was under attack.

He followed someone who turned out to be the Blue Ranger to the transporter and morphed into his new ranger form. To his surprise there were differences other than the color of their suits and their visors but he didn't have time to wonder about the how and why. When he arrived he heard the Blue Galaxy ranger talk in his voice and decided it might be best if he did nothing to reveal his identity before combat was over, as that would only make things confusing.

Danny knew that lives were at stake when he was recruited to become a power ranger, but to hear of a villain who actually succeeded in killing rangers was something he had never heard of before. Everything was moving so fast. Light speed? Mirinoi? He didn't understand these buzzwords, but there was no time to dwell on them.

Danny watched the others morph and head into the gate, and followed suit. "Balancing rage and serenity, Multiverse Gold Ranger!"

Appearing on the other side, he looked to his fellow rangers. "Okay guys, what first?"

Billy rolled his eyes. He thought to himself. "As long as they do it in the base. Less chance of a razor sharp staff to the face." He unintentionally flashed back to when he was still young and strong, when he was a Power Ranger. Jason was their original Red Ranger. He did one those stupid roll calls and the monster attacked before he could finish or react. As fate would have it, Jason's replacement would become his husband.

Wes, really didn't want this Danny guy on the team. Wes contacted Danny by the helmet's communication system. "You were a Power Ranger once before. It should be obvious kill the bad guys and save the innocent, rinse and repeat until there is no more innocents needing to be saved and no more bad guys to kill." Wes had taken a sniping position, and was picking off targets. "When you need a weapon the hud will show you how."

Tom was using a combo attack of shooting his morpher and slashing with his sword. Tom really liked his new powers, they made him feel more alive than ever. The Magna Defender almost took a sword to the back while fighting off three of the foot soldiers at once. Tom shot the sword hand of the dishonorable fool. "Not today fiend."

Billy came over the helmet communication system. "Ff you manage to severe any body parts bring them back so I can study them. Preferably from multiple different specimens."

Zane Wulf charged into battle for the last time against an unknown threat. He saw some innocent children being chased by the foot soldiers. He put himself in between the children and the foot soldiers giving the kids the time they needed to escape. He was surrounded by the foot soldiers cutting off any means of his own escape when their commander jumped into the ring. He wasted no time unleashing a fury of attacks. Zane thinking it was him from another universe tried to reason with him, but Wolzard would not listen. Zane Wulf fought back but his refusal to fight at first eventually cost him his life.

"I don't care what you do, who you have to sacrifice get Zane's equipment back no matter the cost. That is your number one priority now." Billy tells them as he sends the Gemini Cosmo Globe to Tom. "Tom use this and become an army, use it as many times as needed." Tom put the globe into his morpher and he duplicated himself. They duplicated over and over, until there was a sea of orange.

Billy sends Bootes to Danny, the Centaurus to Mike, the Scutum to TJ, and the Telescopium to Wes.

Wes used the Telescopium to target Wolzard. "TJ once Mike uses his globe ride the centaur while using your globe to barrel your way through to Zane. Make sure he is still alive, if not recover the body and equipment then get the hell out of there. Once the equipment is back with Billy rejoin the fight." Before they could follow through with Wes' orders Wolzard turns into a giant and combines with his horse forming WolKaiser. "Tom & Danny summon your zords it's time for a Megazord. TJ & Mike don't worry about anything else but Zane and his equipment we got this." Wes & Tom called for their Zords. While Tom's army of temporary clones kept fighting the foot soldiers.

Mike didn't really understand how acting like a mount for T.J was useful, but he got the need to get the fallen Ranger's equipment back and trusted Billy's opinion about the power-ups he just sent them. Seeing the orange Ranger's multiples did make him wish he could have gotten that one, but he placed his new globe onto his Morpher and used it. The sudden appearance of a glowing horselike body surprised him, but he understood the old man's reasoning. Using his Morpher he fired a few potshot at any footsoldiers that got close to Zane's body but knew that only would buy some time until they got his stuff. "Alright, get on!"

Having no reason to doubt old Billy the Blue Ranger tried to make his way to Mike as soon as he could but despite the slash T'J delivered to it's chest his opponent hadn't gone down yet. Not having any time to continue their battle he did the only thing he could think of to quickly finish the battle and pushed the black armored sword wielder into some of the orange Ranger's copies hoping they would stick around even if the original got into his Zord. Afterwards he jumped in the direction of the Black Ranger and placed his new Globe into his Morpher while still in the air. As soon as he landed onto the horse body he activated his new skill and surrounded both of them within an enegery shield at which point they took off.

Danny still wasn't used to the hardcore reality that he was facing, but he was doing everything in his power to stay useful. Billy reminded him that they had a job to do, and a weapon to do it with.

The HUD on Danny's visor popped up with an image of the Multiverse Ranger Weapon on Choice, something modular and highly configurable. It had nine main modes, and thus, was dubbed the nine-rifle by Danny himself.

"Nine-Rifle, Crossbolter mode!" He called out, summoning the base of the weapon, and the first extension. As he had proclaimed, he created a crossbow out of the weapon pieces. He didn't have much time to shoot up some mooks before Billy sent in a Cosmo Globe to help him out. Like the Libra Cosmo Globe, it worked on his morpher, granting him strength to ram his crossbow into the chests of his enemies before shooting them to bits.

Billy then gave the command to get into their zords. Danny took a second to figure out just how to do that with the help of his HUD, and was in his own voyager zord!

The Libra Zord, or Libra Voyager, was a bipedal robot modeled after his own armor, and the lady of justice. His Zord's hands were bound to two scales, which could be used for offensive or defensive purposes.

"Megazord time already? Let's get to it!" He was still as chipped as ever, despite having an internal episode due to the truly deadly situation he was in.

"Danny quit shouting in my frakkin ears already!" Billy just wanted to slap him. "Your powers and equipment aren't voice operated. It's called the Cosmos Modular Weapon. It's not a crossbow it is a laser axe. It doesn't even look like a crossbow."

After combining with the Libra Zord, Wes took charge of the Megazord. His controls could override the controls of the others in case the others were knocked unconscious or left their cockpit. Same goes for the Red Ranger's zord.

During the fight magic or as Wolzord called mahou was flying around all over the place it was playing havoc with the controls. At one point a group of the Orange Rangers was destroyed by Wolzord knocking them over. The Orange Ranger clones still numbered greatly, the strain on Tom was becoming evident. If this wasn't wrapped up quick Tom was going to wind up in the infirmary.

After several minutes Wes finished the fight with Wolzard by using the snake mouth and scorpion tail to inject several deadly poisons through the armor directly into the giant sized human in the Wolzard. Wolzard collapsed and writhed in pain before dying. His horse returned to wherever it came from.

Unbeknownst to anyone the magic flying around the battlefield struck the portal just as TJ & Mike went through temporarily displacing them to another universe instead of their intended destination.

While Mike had figured out Billy's plan, he still didn't really see the point of the centaur transformation. Surely there were less strange looking ways to boost his speed but it probably had to with the whole constellation theme this group of Rangers had going. Not sure if T.J's shield would reflect his shots he stopped firing his Morpher and took off, using the energy sphere surrounding him and his rider to force a path through the mooks.

Seconds before he could grab the Red Ranger's Morpher and Globe T.J noticed one of the upgraded foot soldiers reaching out for it. Fortunately for them being caught of guard by a forcefield ramming into it at high speed knocked it of balance. The Blue Ranger quickly removed the Scutum Globe and grabbed his mission objectives. Using his free hand he reactivated the shield, just in time for footsoldier to regain it's balance and swing it's club towards him and Mike. "Okay Billy we got the stuff and are ready to go."

Mike and T.j were both unaware of the stray magic messing with their portal as they went through it.

Old Man Billy could see TJ & Mike heading back but then the portal's event horizon shifted momentarily and when it reverted back there was no sign of TJ & Mike. "What in blue blazes just happened? Wes, Tom, Danny I don't know what just happened but Mike & TJ are MIA at the moment. I suspect stray magic from Wolzard caused the portal to jump to another universe at the exact moment they entered. I'm looking for them as we speak I can find them based on their Cosmo Globes but it is a huge multiverse and I can only search one universe at a time. Just finish up and get back here. Make sure to leave them the going away present."

Wes, Tom, and Danny mopped up the remaining foot soldiers with the help of Tom's clones and the Lost Galaxy Rangers.

When they were through all the Power Rangers demorphed. Wes approached Karone the Red Ranger replacement for Kendrix. "Sorry for the troubles. We have no clue who they are, we are currently searching for answers if they ever trouble you again use this to contact us." Wes using the Capricornus globe generates a multiversal communication device aka the going away present. He then hands it over. "Don't worry about it breaking that giant monster we killed could have stepped on it and it wouldn't get a scratch. Just don't drop it in lava, it's ability to survive means nothing if you can't access it. It won't emit anything traceable until you turn it on to contact us but by that time you are already in danger."

Wes and the rest of the team head back to the portal. "Billy is it safe to enter?" Billy gives them the affirmative and they all return to base.

In a universe where the Power Rangers were knowingly or unknowingly serving evil their exists only one team to break from tradition and stop evil in its tracks, the Power Rangers of S.P.D.'s A-Squad. With the defeat of S.P.D. they reformed it into Neo S.P.D. to serve as beacon of hope that unified the universe and eliminated evil. They took Ranger powers that survived and passed them along to elite Neo Cadets when they graduated sending them throughout the universe to defend it. Mike & TJ find themselves morphed on their Earth. The trip through the portal was rough. When they come to their senses they see they are surrounded with A-Squad pointing their rifles at their heads. "By the authority of Neo S.P.D. you are ordered to demorph and surrender. If you do not comply with in the next five seconds you will be summarily executed."

Billy turned to Danny. "I need you to go recruit our Green Ranger. Be sure not to dilly dally I know it is your home universe. We need you & green back here in case anything happens. Tom & Wes will help me search for our missing friends." He opened the portal to Universe-1.

Tom & Wes were working on a design for a new device.

Meanwhile in Universe-12 TJ & Mike are escorted at gun point to SPD Detla HQ on Onyx. They were split up, each was taken to an interrogation room. Charlie led TJ's questioning while Beevor interrogated Mike. While the corpse of Zane Wulf was taken to incinerator. Charlie & Beevor were letting their prisoners stew in the interrogation rooms. While their lead scientists examined the gear they confiscated from them.

Not knowing what was going on and not willing to start a meaningless fight both Cosmos Rangers demorphed and surrendered as ordered by the unknown Power Rangers. They tried to keep Zane's equipment hidden when their Morphers and Globes got confiscated in case they needed it, but that plan failed.

Mike was waiting in what appeared an interrogation room for someone to come tell what was going on and of course ask questions. He wasn't too happy about things but being separated from T.J did make sense. This way their captors wouldn't have to worry about the two of them working together to overpower anyone and it would be harder form them to corroborate on any falsehood the other told.

While T.J never had the official security training his partner received he was smart enough to reach mostly reach the same conclusions. He noticed that the building they were in didn't look like a stereotypical evil HQ, which from his experience meant that it was unlikely their captors were the villains of the dimension they were stranded in.

Charlie & Beevor eventually went in to interrogate their subjects. They both used the same playbook.

"You are at Space Patrol Delta intergalactic headquarters on Onyx. You are the first Power Rangers we have seen since the war against the Evil Power Rangers. They were all either killed in battle or surrendered and sentenced to prison for their crimes. The surviving powers now belong to SPD any unauthorized Power Rangers are illegal and considered an enemy of Intergalactic Peace Accords. Why did you come to Onyx the sight of the final battle against evil? You clearly were not teleported here, all teleportation to and from this planet is highly restricted to the point you must make a request a year in advance or be in a ship about to explode in orbit. The only ships in the vicinity are registed to SPD. So how did you come to be on this planet? Why were you carrying a corpse? Whoever that once was, in case of any disease you might be trying to spread the body was taken to an incinerator." They both pulled out their Delta Morphers in case they needed to call upon judgement of the highest authority with SPD.

The Mission had been a success, but at a pretty great cost. Danny's next mission was for him only, to recruit a new ranger into the the team. Now this was something he was a little more familliar with. And if Billy was taking people who had already been rangers, then he knew that he would be able to trust whoever he was picking up.

With a rather pleasant nod and salute, he was off back to his universe to find this person.

Walking through the portal, Danny arrived in a forest of some sort. Clearly, it was not the Animarium, and no area that he was familiar with. Maybe this person liked being alone?

"So, Billy, who am I recruiting here?" His morpher also doubled as a communicator, which Danny had found out while looking at the optional files in his helmet's HUD back during the fight.

"Her name is Tori Hanson, and she's a ninja." Billy believed that was all that Danny really needed to know, but still the young man strode to continue the conversation.

"Like an actual ninja? That's really impressive."

He couldn't get very far before he was surrounded. Men and women in black outfits accented with various colors watched him from all directions. Rather than make a scene and morph up, Danny rose his hands in surrender. "I'm looking for Tori Hanson. I really need to speak to her."

As if straight from a movie, the figures in black approached him and put a bag on his head They escorted him through the forest and to their academy without him being able to remember the way there. Once they finally were at the academy, the students took the bag odd of Danny's head.

He was impressed by the appearance of the ninja academy. So many fighters training to be the best that they could be to protect the world in their own way. Maybe Cole would go out there and discover people who wanted to help too. He certainly was an inspiring person.

Nobody said a word to him, but guided him through the grounds to one of the many japanese buildings.

Inside was a woman surrounded by a plethora of students. They all shared a similar black and blue uniform, possibly alluding to some similarity between them. What that was, he wasn't sure.

"Tori Hanson?" He called out form the door. He tried to be quiet, but unless he waited for her lesson to be over, he wasn't going to be able to speak to her. "I really need to talk to you."

She looked to be somewhere in her mid to late twenties, but still looked rather good. She had been speaking to the others about something Danny didn't quite understand when he butted in. "Oh?" He tilted his head to the side. "Are you a new student?"

"No," He shook his head. "I'm a-"

"Then it can't be that important. I'm teaching a class right now."

Even though Danny had ninjas on all sides of him, watching his every move and every move he might make, he took several hasty steps towards Tori and raised his arm, showing off the large morpher that he was holding. "Tori Hanson, I'm a Power Ranger, and I know you are too. We need you help to save everything."

The Ninjas took a stance when Danny moved so suddenly. Once he displayed his status as another Ranger, the room of students began to mutter about him, wondering what he was doing here.

"Everyone," Tori addressed her students. "Keep working on what I taught you. Class dismissed."

Tori took Danny out of the hands of the ninja who were watching the grounds. This wasn't the first time she had been contacted by another ranger team to stop evil. She must be really good for this to happen to many times. As a matter of fact, her last encounter with a ranger team ended in her regaining her ranger powers, which she still had to that day.

"So, Danny. You need my help?"

Danny nodded. "There's this... multiverse. Millions and millions of different earths with different histories and different power rangers. Someone is trying to break it all down. Billy, our mission expert, sent me here to find you. It's actually my universe too, I was a Wild Force Ranger, but that's not the point here! Aside from the great Tommy Oliver, you're one of the greatest Rangers in our universe, just because of how much action you've seen. We need someone like you to be our Green Ranger."

He was lucky to have snagged one of the cool morphers before he left, and presented it to Tori.

She needed a minute to think. Of course, had this offer come to her a year or two ago she would have taken it without question, but the academy really needed her. On the other hand, there might not be an academy to come back to if she were to refuse the offer.

"I'll take it." She took the morpher with a gleam in her eyes. Like Danny, she had it rested on her forearm. It was a big thing, but surely useful.
