I normally go in and see how the character reacts to the situation before making any kind of goal. It's all good to me.

That being said, I'll probably post this weekend when I have a better idea of how our characters are being introduced to the group.

Natus is a nationalist, so saving the world would naturally include the nation he has been trained to serve for his entire life. Killing bandits, killing ghosts, killing demons, killing nightmare fetus creatures. All the same to him.

Now that I recall it, Tzi will likely become a key member of the group later on. His knowledge of the sea shall be a great aid to the party.

Jus telling this for you to have something to look forward to.

Tzi has always been a key member of the party for his moral raising abs.

As for the sea stuff what I am getting from that is we are getting a cruise paid for by the Princess, along with our 100% unsuspicious town excision

Please tell me this won't turn into War Notes: Waterworld, starring Kevin Costner Tzi Ti'amtum.

@KoL Awesome.

Although now that I think about it, was does Tzi bring to the party dynamic. Just a tall, generally amicable, straightforward guy with a propensity to walk around shirtless and show off his abs?

At airport now, actually have half a post on my laptop saved that I'll see if I can finish once I check in and all that.

@Leotamer They're all surprisingly exhibitionist.

Eh... the Princess never said to kick out anyone much less the wounded. She's basically giving your characters an all paid 1 night leave at the village.

I'll scratch it off as Clean being stupid, though.

By the way, everyone, I'm working on a post now. It shall be ready in a few hours at most. Brace yourselves.

@KoL It is Clean being stupid, that was the idea. Clean's biased and probably isn't a good person really. I understand Princess, Clean's just an asshole. I'll try to be better with him moving forwards :)

Ok, so to make it clear. It's early evening already and everyone is in the tavern at the moment, right after listening to the Captain's explanation. What you do fro now on is on you, you are free to explore the village and surroundings, or keep talking to one another.

Aside from the tavern there are a few other locations worth of note in the village:

- The Inn where everyone is expected to spend the night. It has three person rooms, so you can make your arrangements however you see if.

- An open air, mixed gender, hot springs bath. It's adjoined to the Inn and has some well known medicinal properties.

- The businesses still open at this time are the villages' blacksmith, the tavern, the inn/hot springs, the pharmacist's boutique, an antiques emporium/bookstore and a general store.

- Likewise there's a number of villager houses that any curious/nosy soul may want to look into.

- There's also the village's outskirts which may or not be safe, but at least are pretty snow-free. Most of it are open fields, but there's a nearby lake, fed by the mountain's glaciers (so it's very, very cold). The lake also has an antique-styled aqueduct taking water from it to the settlements down the mountain range, which houses a watermill used by the inhabitants of Orello.

- Between the village and the fort there's a patch of thick woods with only a single uphill road defended by two checked points.

That's pretty much all that I think that may be of interest to your characters (if any of this is). However, if there's anything else that you may think off just ask and I'll see about it.

No worries.

Oh, damn, I remembered that I forgot to mention that there's a church in the village too. I guess that this is an opportunity to introduce the religion of the continent and the legend of the Goddess of Strife, if anyone goes there.

I'll add it to the lore post, since your characters are supposed to know at least a little bit about the faith they were born into, regardless of believing it or not.

Leblanc to Princess: "No, that was the Captain seeing how well you could provide for all the kids you'd name after her. I was People Watching."

So, Leblanc came afterwards, right, possibly without Esther knowing?

Yes on both accounts. She promised something they'd both enjoy and she intends to keep it, so long as no shirtless men prove to be untrustworthy by peeping from the bushes :3

Why would they need to? It's a Roman style bath, they can all indulge in the debauchery together.
