@GodOfWarLike I said earlier I intended to have Gaki wait until the Jak Jak was weakened a bit. Unless the players are supposed to assume their tactics were successful and they've mounted it (Lyra), tripped it (Kaze), and stunned it (Serra), I didn't know what the Jak Jak's reaction to the different attacks was going to be, so I was waiting for you to post for it. Sorry, I should have made that more clear.

Man, this took a dark turn quick. Maybe I shouldn't write for Spud at 5 AM. Meh, whatever. I need to develop his character anyways, because keeping him that forever happy-go-lucky farmboy with no real motivation is just boring and gets old pretty quickly. (But I'll try to still make him funny whenever he isn't bleeding internally)

@Kazemitsu I have been waiting on @Otaku95 and @Howilng Zinogre to post. Along with dealing with the first days of school for my kids and another RP I'm involved in, there's been a road-block in posting.

EDIT: If worse comes to worse, any of you guys that want to continue the RP without me are welcome to pick it up and start another monster hunt. I may have to finish the Jak-Jak and go, honestly.

@GodOfWar I know you said we won't be hunting canon monsters, but I have two questions:

  • In working on field guide entries, are we allowed to create Subspecies/Rare Species/Lone Species/Variants/Deviants of canon monsters, or monsters related to canon monsters (ie- All of the Glavenus encountered in-game are male, so a female counterpart a la Raths)?
  • This is more for teh lulz, but could Jaggi continue the tradition of being the designated franchise butt-monkey for the RP?

1) Yes, you may edit and change the biology of existing monsters in order to introduce a different subspecies. But, it must be different enough to be easily discernable from the base monsters.

2) Jaggi is still a stupid monkey and existing, yes. I would never take that little bastard out.
