Well, I am not going into my whole philosophy about how a roleplay should be run since I don't think it is the time for that. However, the long and short of it is that I would prefer a smaller more dedicated group over a larger group with little attachment to the rp. I have seen a large RP work before, but that is because it had everyone in much smaller groups of 2 or 3.

Honestly, at this point I am continuing this RP not out of interest but obligation due to waning interest. And having a large cast is a part of that (The roleplay moves slower both in terms of post-cycles and pacing of the story, and the importance of each individual character is diminished for each member of the group)

We appreciate you being candid with your thoughts, but what you are asking for can only be achieved if we booted players solely on the grounds of your- Self proclaimed I must intone- lack of commitment.

Looking at the breadth of your contributions, more lack there of, as well as your disinterest, the only one I'd be inclined to extricate from the RP is yourself unless the majority of players would like to stand up and echo your sentiments.

By the way, I have to do a reminder to anyone who got captured. The Vessels are part of your characters soul, they can't really be confiscated. As soon as you got or of the cages/cells, you should be able to summon then again.

Trying to take a Vessel from a Bearer is an exercise in futility, just like trying to take a Keyblade away from its rightful Wielder.

Sorry, I was under the impression it was the ruins that was outfitted with the tech that was blocking their powers. I'll make sure to correct that next time I post if not edit my existing one.

I'll refrain from doing a witty comment about this. I guess we all know what Tzi is looking to pierce with his polearm, right?

Anyway, let's keep calm and enjoy the story. We haven't even got to the climax of Act 01 yet.

@Leotamer, how can you be judging the RP or openly state disinterest like that? We are doing our best to keep things interesting to everyone and that included adding situations like the one the group is now, where characters like Natus, Regina and Szeren can have their chance to shine while the more frontline oriented people sit in the side lines. You was the one asking for more battles and we are providing it, in a way that only you all are responsible for the outcome of this encounter.

You are welcome to voice your opinions, but you could at least try to be more understanding. That said, we will not feel good if you feel like this RP isn't to your tastes, but you aren't obliged to stay. It's not like we will reprimand you for any choice you make, as long as it isn't disruptive for the whole group. Certain things simply don't work for certain people, after all.

You're good to go. We don't really hold post turns, just a general 2-post rule.

Good thing about Regina is the way I'm playing her she can technically fit in any situation. Except making complex items or being in melee but the latter is not a question of training, it is just that she is not as good as other vessel users in it.

I've been thinking about this for a while, but what is everyone's image of the ruin? Because since I read in one of the posts somewhere that it appeared to be a church, I've been going with the assumption that we're in an abandoned village of some sort.

It's not really going to change anything, but I wanted to know everyone's thoughts.

I imagine it like a fort with ruined defensive walls and makeshift barricades.

These two match the closest to what had been established by the Captain before this mission began. Remember that she said that the area is dotted with ruins of failed colonization attempts.

A church is usually the strongest building in an old village, so that's what is closest to what I was thinking. Anyway, there are other derelict buildings around as well.

I imagine it like a fort with ruined defensive walls and makeshift barricades.

This is really not the case. The only fort on this whole region is Orello, just as have been said IC ever since the characters arrived there.

PS: The only really different ruin in the region is the temple-like one I have described in my last post, when I've given the general appearance of this whole area.

One this scene with the prisoners is over, we'll go further in, then I can add a few more details that were harder to spot from afar.

Yep, though, I'm wondering how many soldiers were defeated up to now. I'll di a count of it later, but Iguess that you all have slaughtered enough for us to call it a day. Anyway, the scene will keep on going until the weekend, when I have time to move us forward.

By the way, before this scene ends, there'll be a boss battle to introduce the first plot twist of the story.

PS: I'm likely going to post it today or tomorrow, so that the people who haven't replied yet can get a shot fo jumping straight to the boss.
