Some lectures can be really awesome to listen to. Professors, unlike teachers, are usually passionate about their jobs and their subjects. They try to make things interesting because they're interested in it, and they want other people to be too. College is a great place to actually learn things that are useful, cool, interesting, and sometimes even life-changing.

*Figure out where they meet
*email the club president, ask if it's cool to hang with them
*profit

I'm a theater person, so improv would be where I would ask.

*Seriously, the lecture thing. Find a crazy physics lecture, grab a notebook and pencil, and sit there and act like this is the first time you've ever been to lecture. Try and make friends witht the person next to you. Bonus points if you take a test.

*Bring a football/frisbee/soccerball/hackeysack/cornhole thing
*Find a courtyard
*Set up cardboard sign that says "Come play football/frisbee/soccer/hackesack/cornhole"
*Wait for people and play fun sports games

Adding to what Raidne said, see if there are any interesting activities going on. At the school I am at, there is a weekly movie night that plays semi-recent movies. Last week they played the Ender's Game and next week they are showing Carrie.

If you like messing around with the piano or something, see if you can borrow the practice room.

There's a pool table with couches and a large tv in the residence hall that I'm in that you can find all sorts of people there hanging out together throughout the day. Maybe there's a lounge room or something that you can visit?

If it's a nice day, go for a walk and explore the school and surround area.
