I'd just like to point out Luna and Kanbaru are fighting atop a frozen lake. So extending the local flora to the center of the lake, through the ice, and up to Luna seems iffy to me.

Simple, in the latest post, Kanbaru got booted up into the sky by Luna. That's probably why they're atop the lake or whatever.

It's more like Kanbaru started the 'duel' in the middle of the lake. And given her attacks are entirely ranged, she hasn't needed to move.

But reading through your last three posts I didnt see that info. I might have just missed it... Entirely possible. Way I saw it, Luna dashed ACROSS the lake to the other side and kicked Kanbaru straight upward.

Since Touka described Kanbaru's battlefield as, "the flat-fields near the lake", I assume Kanbaru and Chie were at the side border of the lake. Meaning Luna's rush forced Kanbaru towards the center, above the lake.

I got that impression too. Never read a phrase that stated Kanbaru was in the middle of the lake when attacking.

My mistake, she was on the side of the lake. Hard to keep it straight when the fight was aborted two times over before the light girls arrived.
