I'm thinking of something to get Anu's attention away from the spire, probably another wave of Fear really hammering into her again, which will stop her from loosing Devilry. When I'm done with that, I will probably move her away from the area, but still have her there to figure out what's going on, if you want the two Angels to see her.

May still add that scene in just for consistency. I have plans for these two angels for later excursions (*insert duo "comic-relief" cast here*).

Btw, Im also going to add in creations for Hyperion's spear "Longinus" and I guess add in Drakarios' involvement with making the ice dragons.

Although what do Ragnagedon's dragons look like in the first place?

Also @jetipster - I made a creations portion for the Ice Dragon our characters made and also gave it some more flesh to its bones. Mentioned them having be fully commanded by Seviand and Drakairos when he feels like going on the blizzard spree. If you want me to add or remove anything, let me know and I'll do as you say.

If it's the latter, he'll be sending them to everyone aside from the destruction god that I can't bother to spell right. It's just that sending them all to everyone...at the same time...and potentially have all of them in his library at the same time, is asking for a bunch of trouble.

So he's going to be meeting with a few at a time to limit damage to his precious books.

As for the General Assembly of the Gods, I think the only fitting place to hold it is the Administrative Hive, which can grow in volume to accommodate the number of occupants. Given the tech level, it should feel like a yurt (large nomadic tent) with a fire in the middle, around which tribal chieftains discuss tribal matters.

Sorry for my absence, my laptop's been having some serious troubles as of late.

I'll try and rejoin this once I can reliably type out more than a paragraph of text.

@Lord Zee - Since Anu'Varr is starting to try and approach the spire this is a good time to note some of the more extreme changes one can undergo via exposure to the aura.

As she approaches her divine essence will be suffused with the divine essence of fear. This will in effect weaken her connection to her own domain while her Divine Cord absorbs the domain emitted from the power of the twin strands. If she comes close enough to the beams or spends long enough near the spire her Divine Cord will lose her domain in it's entirety as it'll be overwritten by the domain of the aura. She will be changed from a goddess of Devilry to a goddess of Fear, losing all connection and influence over the former and gaining dominion over the latter. While all her creations will remain she will lose all connection to them since the power they were created with will no longer be hers to command.

The gods however aren't wholly aware of this yet. It's just a note of caution for those interested in having their deity brave the spire.

Just so I'm getting this right, it's possible to absorb a piece of the domain of fear and still keep the original domain? Like if Iarus came close enough and absorbed SOME of the spires but left as Anu did is he now the god of Deception with the ability to harness fear? Also his creations, while certainly intelligent enough to wield deception, were not created by it so would he still be able to control them as their major diet?

@Archangel89 - It's a bit more complex than that. You see, only a Divine Cord can control a domain. A god is built up from the Divine Cord and up in this order:

Divine Chord -> The Mind -> The Physical Form.

Thus, any form of divine power which affects a god changes them in an inverse order like so:

The Physical Form -> The Mind -> Divine Cord.

Thus, Iarus would need to be inside the aura for long enough for the fear to alter his body and mind before it could start to alter his Divine Cord. Now, altering one's own Divine Cord is a dangerous matter. Saturate it too much and he could lose his former domain to the new one entirely. If his Divine Cord is only mildly affected by the divine power then the foreign domain may flavor his current domain. This effect will wear off over some time as a single cord can only hold one domain and will reshape itself around it's primary domain.

More than that I cannot say until it becomes relevant to the story lest I spoil the efforts of discovery.

Whew, hopefully I'll have an Iva post up tomorrow.

OK, so I have an issue now. I am basically putting Gammaton in stasis for several days as he writes up Iva'Krorh's laws. Whenever Iva brings him a corpse, I'll make posts in which we can create those. But I wanted to ask where are we time-wise, relative to the other events in the rest of the world? And how best it is to handle this situation?

@Stern Algorithm - The way I see it Gammaton kind of require Iva'krorh to pass his message along to the rest of the gods, yes? A likely place he could get that done would be during the spire event. After the spire event reaches it's terminus we can shuffle time forward to where Gammaton has all of Iva's laws written up which is where Iva can bring the answers given by the rest of the deities back to him.

Lowly Wretch's idea sounds fairly plausible to me. It would be a good place to start shuffling the deck and have the gods start moving their own schemes forward once this fear chord is dealt with. I'll try to get a messenger to each of the gods in a timely fashion.

In the meantime, Gammaton doesn't have to be on hold entirely I wouldn't say. Iva is going to be inviting everyone to his Library he contacts to his library - Gammaton is going to be there, so he could easily also take place in negotiations as well. Easier to discuss some things in person, rather than over letters and such.

If time permits, at least anyways. I'll speed things up/change things as needed to fit with the time frame/events and whatnot.
