Still in but, I don't think I'm ready for an evolution with only 70 experience. Also in my own shrine.

Ren is currently a hobgoblin, has 220 xp, and is ready to evo at the shrine of Gatoven.

I also need to know about the changes to Ren's sword after adding the Alpha's limbs

@Jangel13 just to clarify; when I say shrine, I'm talking about the shrine Ren made. Not that mainstream church shrine.

Then i guess Luz is capable of evolving now, however she will hold off on evolving until she asked the elder why Gird's evolution is so different.

@Jangel13, Thanks for the head's-up. I have a general idea of what I want to start with... but I'll need to work out the details. I think that we only settled on the starting cave as a place for that numbing bark tree to grow. At least, I don't remember you clarifying how common that tree was after allowing it the first time.

Fair enough I only said that it showed up near there. So I'll tell you that numbing bark isn't hard to find you simply need to look for old trees that are near each other. A group of old trees will produce the sap

@Jangel13, Thanks! That helps a lot. ... it's especially useful information since Skrik is currently in an area with trees fairly close together. With a couple trees to provide a sufficient supply, he'll be able to practice various uses for the sap as well as having everything nearby to build a little treehouse and... ooh... no... wait... that idea can wait... anyway.

Getting side-tracked... First, shelter, safety and supplies... then... seeking fundamental magic... then combining crafting and early chemistry with magic to produce alternate or enhanced effects in substances. Muahahahhaa!

@Jangel13, setting mad science aside for the moment, I was hoping to get your approval for a set of magical skills that I'm hoping to start developing within the next two IC days. These would be the foundation skills for the kind of potion making and object enhancement that I had in mind for the future. It would also possibly incorporate, or hint toward, the rather complicated relationship that this character is likely to have with Shirila and Duvelna.

-Converting Fire into Life Energy and storing the extra in the caster's body.
-Transfer Life Energy from caster to another living target through touch.
-Convert Life Energy into Fire and binding Fire in Stones for later use.

Alright let's go down this list then.

First off while fire can be trapped and used in a bottle or magical some that doesn't allow it the ability to convert into your own life energy. Your body is simply to complex for that to work. If you wanted to feel warm sure but restoring life isn't something a normal fire can do.
Next while that is possible you would need to extensively study what is powering you as an individual. Your a complex organism and as such you would need to learn about your physiology and hope it works before you can attempt to transfer a piece of your own life power for another.
Again referring to the first one fire can be trapped and used in magical stones but you would need to study your own physical makeup for that to work. You can't simply cut off a finger and expect it to burst into flames after all
