@Tangletail You can assume at this moment that everyone can ride the horse well enough. It's a riding horse - it has been trained for stuff like this.

So! Should we figure out who's doing what?

So far we got

- Two people could hop onto Lucian. (Sebastian, to lead to them? Magdar, since he's frontline and slow on foot? Both?)
- Rhayela could try to calm Sylvanna down, and if she succeeds, two people can ride on her. Rhayela herself wouldn't mind running.
- Caw would prefer to ride, but will settle for whatever he's given. He will likely follow after whoever moves first.

@DThar, @DrakeEricsen what about you guys, any input?

Ericsen hasn't been on for almost two weeks, so we could also maybe have Magdar run after all, to give him more time to join in once he's back, in case he's gone for longer.

@Eleven@Vertigo@Tangletail So. I think it's time to assume that we've lost DTHar and Drake. This being said, I do have ways to deal with this, without just phasing their characters out of existence. In this instance, Surina will be taking up the rear, so she's already set off running, and Magdar will climb onto the second horse - so Caw and Rhaeyla could both get on Seb's horse, or one of them could wait.

In this same vein, @The Harbinger of Ferocity, you still about? If you are, I'd like to talk to you about bringing you in.

I'm down for Caw and Rhayela sharing Sebastian's horse. I think it'd be the most convenient, since it would get us into action faster.

I am indeed still about, @CollectorOfMyst, and I can make another character to fill a missing role or similar if need be. It needn't just be the one I proposed before and it would take me the entire span of less than a day to draft something new. It all depends upon just what would be most desired in the apparent departure of other players by absence.

@The Harbinger of Ferocity The main issue is that we've lost a healer and a tank-and-a-half (Magdar being a half-tank.) We do have Rhaeyla, who could in time become a tank, and she has a once-per-day heal ability, but these are inadequate in the long run.

Mists on the Mountain, as a War Cleric, can serve in both these capacities - but it is usually inadvisable to have your tank and healer be the same. This is true even if you switched to say, Paladin. I'd think of what role you'd like to serve (tank, striker, support, healer) and adjust based on that.

I might consider reopening applications to those who are interested and ask for them to fill one of the two roles.

I can certainly have Mists on the Mountain provide more of a support role but that will require a member volunteering to be much more defensively oriented or finding a suitable replacement. Alternatively, I can readily make a barbarian, fighter, or paladin, but I suspect any prospective new member might prefer to take one of those roles instead, @CollectorOfMyst. I do believe the best I can offer is to see what the remaining party would choose and I go from there, as one is correct, doing all the roles generally is ill advised, despite how well say a paladin can multitask. Alternatively, it could just be stated outright for the sake of the group and the balance of the game what is desired, I would not be particularly bothered.

@Tangletail Hey, I don't control where pinterest takes me. Kobolds aren't normally what I find, and even then it's very hard to find good ones.

@The Harbinger of Ferocity Sorry, sorry! I'm currently looking into some new player recruits. Mists on the Mountain was the character you originally wanted to play, and that's fine! There's a reason the party has NPCs to back them up right now - to fill potential gaps.

@ALL: So, currently the thing looks basically like this;

Vaal Rhaeyla Surina Sebastian, Sylvana
Cassandra Caw, Lucian Magdar

My graphical skills are amazing, right? This is the aftermath of Round 1. Rhaeyla and Caw are almost there; Surina is on her way to the city. The other three will move next round. This being said, there will be a post from me soon, so if @Vertigo narrates your arrival at the city, then we can essentially skip round 2 and you guys can wait for back up.

@Tangletail@Eleven@Vertigo So... I've decided that I like my 'character application' design for Cassandra and Sebastian far more than I like the originals. And because I didn't want to shoulder y'all with the task of reformatting your sheets... I did it for you. They're much cleaner, is all I'll say.
