The Hub - San Fransisco: March 5th, 1984 - 10:10 A.M.

"When would you rather I make a joke, Firebutt?" Raynor asked Flynn with a deadpan expression. Yes, he had agreed to work with Flynn on a plan that would prevent Sparky from ever going into the Quantum Realm in the first place and stop Ultron from taking over the world. The chaos and destruction the others were experiencing in 2021 felt so far away and for a moment, Raynor couldn't help but fantasize about trying to send himself to some safe date - 2016, for instance - where he could grab Sparky and take her far away from this horrible little planet.

Raynor had been about to rattle off the number for the Hub, when suddenly their surroundings shifted. Rather than being inside of the Baskin Robbins, they were in the midst of a busy, crowded corridor lined with gigantic pillars. S.H.I.E.L.D. agents and scientists were hurrying from destination to destination, ignoring the group that had appeared out of nowhere. Strange was smirking slightly to himself.

"Sorry, I hate public transportation," he explained. Not too far from where they were standing, there was a phone and a directory. Most likely, the phone only made calls within the building but hopefully, they would be able to find Pym or Fury's number in the book if they looked through it.

"This was a lot quicker anyway."

"Now, Dr. Bautista, if you would like to call Dr. Pym or Mr. Fury, that would be wonderful," Strange said. However just before Niah would have a chance to, a little red kitten would come up to her and rub up on her slightly.

"... Fuck, is that Fury's cat?"

Stark Tower - New York: July 15th, 2021 - 9:50 P.M.

Unlike in previous instances, reinforcements for Ultron's legion came instantly. Another twelve drones made it inside of the building and the Hulk ran out through what had been the front entrance, grabbing drones and crushing them left and right like they were just bugs. Easily thirty drones swarmed the Hulk, obscuring him from view until all anyone inside would be able to see would be a green hand reaching up, before vanishing.

"I'll help him, you guys move on ahead!" Captain Marvel shouted, putting on her helmet. She was now sporting what looked like an epic mohawk as she burst out into the fray, killing as many drones in the faceless army as she could. Every now and then, those inside would be able to see a burst of light from Carol's power cosmic or they would feel the ground shake as the Hulk landed on more of his foes.

"HULK SMAAAAAAAAASH!"

"Yeah, that's the idea, big boy!"

The snowstorm was starting to die down, yet since it hadn't really slowed down the drones in the first place that didn't matter too much. The Scarlet Witch wrinkled her nose, looking at Maria with distaste. "I would rather die than marry a toaster!" she protested. Her eyes were shining red as she pulled the destroyed Ultron drones together, fashioning a rough barricade to make it harder for them to pursue them further into Stark Tower. After all, Ultron drones were built to destroy organic lifeforms and not each other.

Apparently, the Vision shared similar sentiments to Wanda. "Wanda Maximoff and I only share a twelve percent romantic and sexual compatibility." His systems seemed to be momentarily operational, as he shot energy beams at three of the drones and blew them up, destroying them. Wanda's barricade was holding, meaning there were currently just nineteen more drones for them to deal with - the rest of the drones were swarming Captain Marvel and the Hulk outside.

"Twelve percent? That seems a little high, spaceman," the Scarlet Witch protested.

The synthezoid destroyed another five drones, bringing the total to fourteen. "My calculations are not incorrect - our compatibility is precisely twelve percent. Yet when it comes to parenting, the number drops considerably..."

"Urgh, shut up!"

Goose still had the tentacles flying, ripping two droids apart before he grabbed a third one which disappeared into his mouth. There were just eleven left now to deal with. And since Abercrombie had moved towards the stairs, those eleven drones instantly went after her, not wanting to let her go up another step. Her calves would definitely be burning by the time she got to the top, as Stark Tower is ninety three floors tall - maybe they could figure a way to fly up the stairs in order to conserve energy?

Cassandra Reed

Location: New York, Stark Tower
Skills: Enhanced Condition

Cassandra looked towards both Hulk and Captain Marvel, telling them to continue on up, without them biting her bottom lip she didn't like the idea of leaving either of them behind. "Fall back if you guys need to." Cassandra said towards them as Scarlet Witch made a barrier of Ultron drone bits, to slow them down. She quickly started to follow shortly behind Tinley towards the stairwell and started to make her way up slowly the stairs.

Cass listened to both Scarlet Witch and Vision arguing amongst each other and shook her head slightly she couldn't really see the two of them being parents or being together either. She continued to make her way up the stairs, she was feeling a little bit tired after going up the first flight of stairs as she waited for the others to get up. Cassandra watched Maria shooting an arrow and then quickly ascended a few more stairs above her.

Maria Smith

Location: New York, Stark Tower
Skills: Archery (Cass's Season Manipulation)

Maria looked between Scarlet Witch and Vision for a moment and smirked a little bit. "See? You two are acting like an old married couple already." She said as both Hulk and Captain Marvel were distracting the drones for them, she hated the idea of leaving them behind, she quickly turned and started to make her way towards the stairwell. Looking up at the massive stairwell, she certainly wasn't going to hoof it by foot. Maria quickly started to put together a grapple arrow, once it was quickly made she notched the trick arrow and shot it up into the air.

Once the line was secured Maria made sure it wouldn't come loose as she attached her bow to he line Maria quickly started to ascend up the first ten flights of stairs. Once she was on the floor Maria quickly jumped off on the landing, coming face to face with fifteen Ultron drones there, Maria fired off five EMP arrows at them, two of them missed by three managed to get hit however as they were deactivated.

Roman Carter

Location: The Hub - San Francisco

The man was in a state of slight amazement, seeing as they had just managed to build a goddamn time machine. He was even more amazed that it seemed like they would be able to pull this whole thing off without half a million Ultron-bots coming out of nowhere to slaughter them like it was no business. Yet they had managed to finish building the device, all the same, something that he still halfway thought would be impossible, and was almost certain would kill them if they used it. Then they went and did exactly that, they used the time machine to go back in time. Roman closed his eyes as they traveled, practically embracing the death he was certain awaited them all.

Yet then he heard people bustling all around him, and the group talking to each other. Slowly he blinked his eyes open and looked around with a slightly slack-jawed expression. They had done it, from the looks of it. They were in some sort of SHIELD installation, and it truly did seem they had gone back in time. Either that or they had all died and the afterlife really sucked if it was just more work for SHIELD. With that thought in mind, he decided that he wanted to believe that they had truly traveled back in time. Turning his attention back towards the rest of the group, Roman listened silently even as he scanned the surroundings to enjoy the Ultron-less world.

Tinley Abercrombie

Location: Stark Tower
Skills: Baton Combat, Force Field Generation, Hand-to-Hand Combat

Tinley cursed each step she took as it became harder to climb. There had to be an easier way, and she would get to that once those fucking drones were taken care of. She unleashed her batons again, flipping over one and smashing it down to the ground. The second and third she jammed both batons into them and crushed them. "These drones are getting on my last nerve."

She summoned a force field around herself and began propelling herself upward. She was still tired from her climbing and she could feel the force not being as strong as she liked and only got to three stories higher before she had to suspend her field. And, of course, the drones followed her. She swiped at a few of them, but they grabbed her batons and took them out of her hands. "Oh fuck you! Not having that right now." She ran at one of them and flipped, spinning in the air with her feet outstretched. Tinley smash!" she screamed as she collided with one and it hit the ground, releasing the baton. She only had one, but it was better than nothing. "Come at me bastards! This is only the appetizer."

Frederick Flynn

Location: The Hub

Flynn rolled his eyes at Raynor, not really sure what to really respond to him with. He really needed to think of a good comeback or something. However that might have to wait until later, when they weren't having to deal with this whole situation of them being in the past to go stop Ultron's whole creation thing. More of to him, he was still all for just killing Pym (and Fury since otherwise he was sure that Raynor would kind of be pissed off at him or something for backing out on it) and he was still sure that everyone else would try and stop them. He didn't care anymore though.

"So, we're just going to wait for Niah to call them? Or are we actually going to go and find them. Since just standing around here, fairly certain we'll stand out like a sore thumb." Flynn then heard Raynor questioning the kitten that had run up to Niah, and he just looked at the kitten, incredibly confused. "Ok, I know that Goose isn't your typical cat, but how the hell could he possibly be here? Like, seriously? The cat would be almost 40 years old in our time!"

Niah Bautista

Location:The Hub - San Fransisco: March 5th, 1984
Skills: N/A

Niah was flipping through the directory to find Fury or Pym's name when Goose, it had to be Goose, started rubbing against her leg. She paused and knelt down offering a hand to Goose to sniff and rub against as he pleased. "I'm pretty certain Goose is far from a cat. She said without looking up at Flynn. Niah checked her pocket real quick to see if by chance she had some of Goose's favorite treats in them, sadly she didn't have any. "Goose, however, is super important, aren't you Goose. You bring me a postcard in the future and because of the postcard I know I can time travel." Niah didn't use a condescending tone with the 'cat' since she knew he was way smarter than he let on.

She stood up and found Pym's number and called it. "My name is Doctor Niah Bautista. I need to speak with you about Project Ultron." She figured leaving out that she was a SHIELD agent from the future would be a good idea...for now. That would definitely need to be revealed. Even if Pym looked her up in the rudimentary system she wasn't even born yet. But dropping the name of a classified project was certain to get attention.

The Hub - San Fransisco: March 5th, 1984 - 10:20 A.M.

In the hustle and bustle of people coming and going, a few familiar faces may stand out. Walking on past the group, in the middle of a conversation, was none other than the legendary Howard Stark and Peggy Carter. Although it would be hard to overhear their conversation amidst all of the chatter, they would be able to catch the gist: Peggy was giving Howard some advice on how to handle his handful of a kid. Tony was beginning his teenage phase and the scientific genius had no idea how to deal with it. They would vanish into the crowd again within a few moments, not even noticing the group of time travelers themselves but why would they?

"Cat got your tongue?" Strange mused, noticing that Roman had hardly said a word since they arrived. It wasn't too shocking, they had just lost people, but loss was hardly a new thing for them anymore. Funerals and coffins, they were just a reality of life. People died. But maybe, just maybe they could change that fact - just this once - they could bring them back.

Raynor chuckled a bit. "Well that isn't a cat," he corrected Flynn. Cryptic as ever, he didn't offer an explanation beyond that. Cats couldn't live to be forty years old? Well, then Goose wasn't a cat - and given Goose's other qualities he was a bit surprised that Flynn hadn't figured that out yet. Household pets didn't just have tentacles inside of them like that. At least, they didn't here on Midgard as far as the Asgardian was concerned.

The kitten gave Niah's hand a cautionary sniff, before apparently determining that she was a nice person and he started to rub up against her hand, essentially demanding that she pet him. On the phone, there was a poignant pause before Dr. Pym started to answer. His voice was more youthful than when she had spoken to him at Pym Technologies back in 2020. "Goddamnit. I told Stark not to bring in an outside consultant..." Pym muttered. "Alright. I can meet you now in my lab - it's room 221B."

"Goose! We talked about this!" Nick Fury complained, looking like a young(?) man with both of his eyes. He came up to them at a sprint and shook his head slightly at the kitten. "Sorry, little guy must have slipped out of my office..." he apologized, bending down and picking up the kitten.

"Mrow?" Goose asked innocently, looking at Fury for a moment, before he started trying to get out of his grip again. Unfortunately for the kitten, Fury wasn't just about to let go of him any time soon. He didn't want to deal with losing Goose in this large crowd of people and he had no doubt someone else would want to adopt this precious little bag of joy.

"Oh, no worries," Susan said in response, not really too sure what else to say at that moment.

"I'm Agent Fury," he introduced, holding out a hand with a smile.

Stark Tower - New York: July 15th, 2021 - 10:00 P.M.

Outside...

Never before had Carol Danvers actually worked this hard - she couldn't remember the last time each breath tasted like blood rather than air. Her vision was spinning as she blasted away as much as she could at the endless tidal wave of drones. She wasn't exactly surprised at the hoard she and the Hulk were fighting - they had just kicked the beehive, of course the flying killing machines would be coming to end the threat to the collective. "Hey, Big Green... What do you think's waiting on the other side?" she asked him, her voice raspy and sounding like that of a chain smoker.

"Big Guy?!" Captain Marvel called out again, having not heard a response. A second later, one of the drones stabbed her in the back and she screamed, blue blood dripping from the wound. But it would take more than just that to kill Carol Danvers. Her limbs were trembling as she forcibly pulled out the blade and then punched a hole through the drone, sending its pieces down onto the ground where it joined its previously vanquished brethren.

"NO OTHER SIDE! ONLY HULK!"

There was a gigantic roar as the Hulk emerged, covered in broken pieces of drones. The female Avenger let out a slight sigh of relief. She didn't know if anything could kill the Hulk, but it seemed to be impossible. And as long as Ultron couldn't do that, then they would always at least have a chance of winning.

"Sun's getting real low, huh?" Her eyes flickered all around them and she knew that she at least couldn't keep this up forever. She was getting tired. It wouldn't be long until she was overwhelmed, but there was at least something she could to do buy them all some time... "I'll see you in a minute," Carol said, before she went supernova.

The Second Floor...

There was an intense, blinding light and suddenly, the glass outer walls of Stark Tower shattered, the shards flung inwards. Not too long afterwards, there was a gigantic roar of pain - the Hulk. Whatever had happened outside, at least Bruce Banner's alter ego had survived.

Goose sent his tentacles flying out, smashing 5 drones nearby. However, he let out a slight hiss, before it sounded like he was almost whimpering in way. He had gotten hit by several shards of glass, and his injuries didn't look too good from the glass at all. "Mrow?" he sort of muttered out, not really saying anything else.

"...Your cat needs medical attention," Wanda informed Cass, staring at her. The drones on this floor were gone, but it wouldn't be long before more came, especially with the glass shattered. Vision had gotten hit by a fair number of shards, the synthezoid sparking randomly as he flew up to the fourth floor to assist Tinley if she so required.

The Fourth Floor...

Just as on the second floor, the intense light - like a star had just exploded outside - would be blinding to look at. If anyone tried to, their vision would be clouded with black spots for at least an hour or more. Of course, that is hardly the least of Tinley's problems. The shards from the glass walls were violently thrown at her, but by some stroke of luck they missed her almost entirely, just leaving her with a few scratches. Unfortunately, the drones avoided the shards as well, so she still has to deal with them.

The Vision floated up to her a moment later. "Might I be of assistance?" he asked. There were numerous glass shards sticking out all over his body, as if he had used himself to shield someone from harm - but who? Of the four drones on the floor, only one of them managed to actually fire off a shot at Tinley, but it missed her by a lot.

The Eleventh Floor...

While Maria managed to channel her inner Hawkeye and make it up to the eleventh floor, she is surrounded by Ultron drones and the aftermath of the supernova outside not only just flung glass at her, it actually knocked Maria backwards. She would fall away from the landing at the very least, but one of her own arrows is knocked loose from her quiver and she lands on it, the arrow pushing through her back and coming out at her stomach.

Of the twelve drones up there with her, five of them managed to hit Maria. Her regenerative healing factor made her tougher than most, but these drones could adapt and they did so easily. Sending concentrated lasers at her brain, the five drones attacked as a singular unit and destroyed the vital organ beyond repair. She was dead.

Cassandra watched as Goose smashed five of the Ultron drones, the cat was certainly doing a lot better fighting against the drones, she was about to go up the next flight of stairs to catch up to Tinley. When an explosion rocked the entire building, hearing shards of glass shattering. She turned her attention towards Goose when she heard the cat meow in pain and noticed the shards of glass sticking out in the side of Goose. She quickly went down towards Goose, looking at the wounds were really serious, looking over at Wanda for a moment. "Watch my back okay?" Cass said, as she quickly ripped off the sleeves from her shirt she didn't have a medical kit on her or anything to properly treat Goose's wounds.

"This is going to hurt like a bitch, please don't claw or scratch my eyes out or eat me okay..?" Cassandra said to Goose as she quickly ripped out each shard of glass one by one. Leaning her body over the cat just in case the drones came back and swarmed her, she would be able to brush off their blasts. She then quickly used the remains of her sleeves and tied them around Goose making sure they were as tight as possible, sighing slightly, she really did miss her best friend Bonnie would have done a much better job then she could. "Goose is stable for now, but we cant keep using the stairs, like this they will just bottleneck us." She said looking at the shattered glass, as she gently picked up the cat in her arms.

Maria didn't like the odds of being surrounded by so many drones by herself right now, she was about to notch another arrow into her bow, when an explosion rocked her, she let out a scream as she was knocked off of her feet. Shards of glass imbedding itself into her as she fell down onto the landing below her, feeling another sharp pain going through her back and stomach. Looking down seeing an arrow covered in her blood sticking out of her stomach.

She coughed out some blood wiping some of it away from her lips as she watched five Ultron drones hovering above her now, she didn't imagine going out like this. She wanted so bad to destroy Ultron, for killing Novikova she started to regret taking all of her anger out on Tinley and blaming her for Novi's death and decided to speak through the radio. "Tinley? I wanted to let you know, I am sorry for everything that I said to you and blaming you for Novi's death.. You are a good leader, and person and it's been great to know you since the academy." Maria said, as the Ultron drones all opened fire on her the last thing she would see a flash of light and then she was gone to join Novikova.

Tinley Abercrombie

Location: Stark Tower
Skills: Force Field Generation

The drones kept coming, but Tinley had resolved herself to killing every last one of the bastards. She had proceeded up fairly well, but she knew she was exhausting herself, which didn't prove useful in a life or death battle. She heard a voice by her and saw Vision appear, shards of glass embedded into him. It seemed he had fought enough of them too. "Wouldn't say no."

She heard the sound of an explosion and turned to face it, fearing it was something else dangerous. She couldn't see anything, but she heard a voice over the comms. It didn't hit her at first, the tone of her words, but she listened. She wanted to respond, but the lump she felt in her throat prevented it. She wanted to share how much she cared about her and everyone on her team. How she wanted to share Novikova's memory. How she would see her again, no matter what it took.

Instead, Tinley let a single tear fall, before she gripped herself. Screaming, she unleashed a torrent of force from herself, hitting the nearby drones who dared come close to her, sending them spiraling to their demise.

She was pissed now. More pissed than ever.

"Fuck this, no more playing around. I want everyone near me now. Vision, Wanda, Cassandra, we are using our powers combined to propel us to the top floor and ending this son of a bitch now."

Frederick Flynn

He rolled his eyes slightly at Raynor again. "Well that kind of was obvious, though what the hell the cat is is an excellent question," he said simply, before Nick Fury of all people came up to them to grab the small red kitten. It was a bit strange seeing Fury with both eyes, that much was just an observation. He partially was wondering now what Raynor was going to do, since with what their idea was, they'd have to kill Fury too, and Fury had literally just walked up to them.

He thought for a moment about what the best possible course of action would be right now, and it wasn't exactly the best idea to just shoot Fury or something, especially in the middle of a somewhat crowded area. Thinking about it, he figured it would probably be best to just introduce himself, and maybe make a comment about the cat. "I'm Flynn... And you might want to keep a better eye on that guy, he could get lost pretty easily, this is a big place and he's pretty small." he said with a slight shrug, giving Fury a slight smile. It was more of a fake smile, since he definitely was not in the mood for being too nice in any capacity, but he figured he might as well fake being nice or something for the moment.

"It isn't a big deal. I like cats, and this one is particularly clever I think. I'm Dr. Bautista. My team and I are here to speak with Dr. Pym. He told us his room, but I don't know where it is. Would you be so kind as to direct us?" Niah shook Fury's hand. The situation was surreal. He had both eyes, he didn't see her as a subordinate.

Niah had zero clue what Flynn and Ryanor were talking about and somehow completely missed the fake behind the smile. She glanced at Carter, he seemed out of his element, which was fair. Things were weird. Agent Fury nodded, thinking for a moment. "I always remember his lab, it's got the same number as the apartment for the detective with the funny hat... Go straight down this hallway, first door on the right is the staircase, go up a floor and then he's down the hall on the left - you can't miss it, he's got insects crawling around by the door."

"Sherlock Holmes I believe, and thank you very much for the directions. I'll see you around. Bye Goose." She looked at the rest of the team and started walking per Fury's directions. Niah slowed for half a step looking at Fury but then continued on as if in a hurry. Had she been chosen for phase three because of today? Had he known all the way back when he stamped his approval on her and Antoine's sheets that he was sentencing him to death and putting her in danger?

Roman Carter

He already hated himself for seeming so incredibly surprised by what they were currently standing within. He probably stuck out like a sore thumb within the hub, as most who made it here probably had enough experience to be so amazed by the building they were within. He tried to force himself to look somewhat normal again before anybody noticed in particular. As explaining time travel would be a tad bit awkward to anybody in the building. Hopefully, nobody would notice that he had seemed so amazed by their presence within the hub. Roman wished that his luck would come back to some capacity after the more recent events against good ol' Ultron in the future.

Yet it seemed that he would not be so lucky. Hearing the good Doctor respond to his amazement, Roman turned to face the man with an irritated look upon his features. "Yeah, we just pulled off the fucking impossible. So I'm a little amazed, how does this kind of stuff not amaze you, Strange?" He asked, firing back quickly to try to conceal his embarrassment that he had been caught looking utterly amazed at the Hub and the fact they had successfully managed to travel through time. Especially since they hadn't even died, which he honestly was completely expecting.

The Hub - San Fransisco: March 5th, 1984 - 10:30 A.M.

"Flynn? Kinda a hippie name," Fury mused. "You're new around here?" he then followed up, petting the little kitten in his arms. His attention was directly on Flynn as the kitten opened up his mouth and tiny little tentacles came out, tickling Flynn's nose and Fury smirked. "I'll be seeing you all around, then," he said, waving his hand goodbye as he went back into the hustle and bustle to deal with his latest assignment.

Raynor glanced after Fury for a moment, considering whether or not to strike now. He didn't know how changes to timelines would work like this - would the effect be instant or immediate? But killing Pym was the first priority - that would prevent Ultron and keep Sparky from dying. Once that was accomplished and assuming the temporal shifts didn't instantly fling them back to their own time, they could kill Fury - and keep Sparky from ever leaving a lab to go into active field duty in the first place hopefully.

"Come on, kiddo," Raynor said, clapping a hand on Flynn's back before he followed after Niah.

Strange smirked at Roman and gestured to the Eye that he wore - the device that concealed the Time Stone. "Because I've already seen this future - when Ultron took over the world, I scanned all possible futures to see what we needed to do to win. I've known everything that has come to be, every conversation we would have - right down to your attempt to not be embarrassed right now." He gave the agent a wink before following after Niah as well.

Once they got to the second floor, it wasn't too hard to spot Pym's lab. "I guess we're at the right place," Susan remarked, her eyes flickering towards the massive swarm of ants outside of the door to Pym's lab. A few of them seemed to be carrying a Walkman around with them, trying their best to figure out a way to get it underneath the door. It was an impressive but disgusting sight.

The door instantly swung open and a (relatively) young Dr. Pym stepped out, looking at the collection of misfits. "Jesus... Stark sent all of you?!" He couldn't help but roll his eyes. "That fucking alcoholic..."

Stark Tower - New York: July 15th, 2021 - 10:10 P.M.

The Second Floor...

Goose let out a pitiful meow, letting Cass hold him in her arms. Her medical knowledge had gotten the feline stable, but he wasn't going to be much help to anyone until he got a blood transfusion. What sort of blood would Goose need anyways - he was hardly an ordinary cat since he was an alien from outer space - did SHIELD have blood transfusions for him somewhere? Well, even if they did, the group hardly has time to help Goose much more at the moment.

There was worry painted on Wanda's face as she looked at the red cat - she never really cared much for people, but she adored animals. It was the main reason why she had adopted her brother's pet after he passed away - she couldn't bear the thought of leaving Mr. Dibbles to die. "Sounds like Tinley has a plan," Wanda then said, breaking the silence as she heard Tinley's instructions over the radio. Wrapping an arm around Cass, Wanda surrounded the three of them with her odd red light and they shot upwards to the fourth floor where Tinley and Vision were.

The Fourth Floor...

Cass, Wanda, and Goose shot up from the second floor, surrounded by a red haze that faded when they hit the landing. They weren't the only ones who listened to Tinley's call apparently - someone else in fact had decided to rejoin the group. The group would feel the tremor from the Hulk leaping upwards through the broken glass and hitting the staircase before they would even really register what had happened.

"RAWR!!!!!!!!!" The Hulk beat his arms against his chest. There was even more rage in the beast's eyes than would be considered normal. And had the Hulk's mind not been immune to telepathy, Tinley would have known what had happened. The blast that Captain Marvel had unleashed... it had killed Bruce Banner. Once the Hulk calmed down and shifted back, he would just be a corpse.

Gone was the scientist and for the rest of time, only the Hulk would remain.

"HULK THROW!!!!!" the Avenger shouted, jabbing his thick fingers upwards. He wasn't the most intelligent of creatures, but it would be clear to the others that he was trying to help. If they all combined their abilities to propel themselves upwards and the Hulk tossed them up to get additional lift, they should have no trouble making it up to Ultron's lair. Tinley's force fields would protect them from the Ultron drones as they went as well.

The Vision did not seem to be alarmed or even impacted by Maria's death. His stoic personality - if it could even be called that - continued to reign supreme. "I calculate the odds of success at reaching Ultron's lair as 93%," he informed Tinley, attempting his best to be helpful. "Our current probability of success in destroying Ultron is 66% - and the odds of mortality for all members present is 68%."

Wanda gave the robot a pointed look. "I hate you."

"I'm quite aware."

Cassandra whipped a few tears away from her face after hearing Maria's voice over the radio letting out a slight sigh, they had already lost to many people now at this point. Hearing Tinley's voice over the radio she nodded slightly, though she wasn't sure how it would work but she would be willing to give it a try. Hearing the pitiful meow coming from Goose Cass gently gave the cat a pat on the head, hopefully they would be able to get him a blood transfusion of some kind.

She then stood up making sure that Goose was alright in her arms before Wanda sent the three of them up to the fourth floor to meet up with Tinley and Vision. "Just for the record I never tried using it this way before." She said, just as she heard the Hulk coming through the shattered windows, glad to actually see the hulking green monster for once. She nodded and started to concentrate before she was eventually able to help propel everyone with the help of everyone elses powers, and they were now at the top floor of Stark Tower.

Tinley Abercrombie

Location: Stark Tower
Skills: Force Field Generation, Infiltration

Tinley ignored the couples therapy session happening nearby with Wanda and Vision. It was at this point she was fed up with it all and just wanted to see Ultron destroyed and all of this sorted. She hoped beyond hope that the time travel team was having better luck than them. With their powers combined, they managed to propel themselves easily to the top. Would have been nice to have had done that earlier, but beggars couldn't be choosers at this point.

Once at the top, Ultron was there with a female android. In a whisper, she spoke to her team. "I'm going to sneak over there and attempt to upload the virus into that terminal, which hopefully feeds into him. I need you to keep him and his cyborg girlfriend or whatever busy. If all else fails, we kill the fucker and upload it directly up his ass. Ready?" She trusted her team, or at least to an extent as she stealthed her way over to Tony's terminal. Hopefully, it was what she needed to upload the virus directly into Ultron, but she couldn't be sure.

Frederick Flynn

Location: The Hub

"Is it sad that even though I'm more of a dog person that damn cat is kind of cute as a kitten?" Flynn said with a shrug as he watched Fury leave with Goose. He then turned his attention towards Raynor, rolling his eyes at the guy for what he called him. "Call me that again and I'll punch you alright?" With that last remark, he followed along after the others towards where Pym's lab was. He had met the man in the future, but for all he knew, Pym was a completely different person in the past. Though he seriously doubted it at this rate.

"Alright, any ideas on how to actually kill Pym at this point considering the fact that we are surrounded by literally everyone else? You know that they'd stop us in an instant if we so much as tried something. This is going to be a bit of a problem..." he whispered quietly to Raynor as they went to Pym's lab. When Pym answered the door and talked to them, he had to stop himself from rolling his eyes, since it looked like Pym hadn't changed in over 30 years at all. He didn't say anything to Pym, figuring to let someone else talk to him first.

Niah Bautista

Location:The Hub (Pym's office) - San Fransisco: March 5th, 1984
Skills: N/A

"Good morning Doctor. I am sorry for this intrusion." Niah started, she carefully avoided stepping on any of the ants. "I have a few things we must discuss. I assure you you'll find it interesting." Once the group was inside the room and the door shut behind the lot Niah took a deep sigh and said. "You're probably not going to believe me, and honestly I understand that response, please even if you don't want to believe me just listen to us. Niah paused to catch her breath. "We are from the future. We used some of your research to be able to do it. I knew it was possible for me to get here because of one of my mutant powers. I've spent months trying to get it done and here we are. Niah had spent months planning this conversation and she didn't wait for Pym to respond before she started talking again.

"Things are in a bad way though. Your project Ultron has taken over the world. We had tried to use Ultron to retrieve...some people from the Quantum realm and once it was accomplished the machine went nuts and tried to kill us all. He succeeded in a few cases. We tried to stop him but we couldn't. He had some sort of secondary protocol in place. You didn't know what it was talking about so I think someone sabotaged it, or he got smart real quick." She hadn't wanted to say who all they had been trying to retrieve from the quantum realm since she thought Pym's wife was still here. If only she had paid closer attention to dates.

Roman Carter

Location: The Hub - San Francisco
Skills: N/A

Roman wanted to argue with the wizard, but the man apparently had some magical time rock with him that could affect the flows of time. So sadly, he had to admit defeat in this one circumstance. He tried some sort of witty response but stalled out halfway through when he realized that he truly didn't have any sort of comeback. Swearing to himself and promising that he would find some way to get the damned wizard back someday, Roman turned his attention back towards the mission at hand. Its a little bit of a strange one for the operative to wrap his head around, even when considering what his standard operations were like with SHIELD.

Following along silently, Roman wondered about how they would really know if they had changed the future. Since they wouldn't really remember what had come before to lead to those events, would that mean the moment they did exactly that, their memories until now would suddenly change? Or would there be some strange paradox where only they really knew the truth of the matter? The concept occupied the young agent's mind as he followed along with the group, trying to figure out the complexities of it all until they were actually in front of Dr. Pym, then it would be back to showtime.

The Hub - San Fransisco: March 5th, 1984 - 10:40 A.M.

Raynor thought for a moment about Flynn's question. "When his back is turned and they're all geeking out, take a shot," he whispered to his fellow SHIELD agent. "I'll keep them from stopping you." It would be a two person effort and it would be mostly improvised. He wondered though if Flynn actually had it in him to kill someone. Raynor didn't need to ask that question about himself - he had killed before. He had hurt a lot of people in his old life, so many that he had long since lost count.

Pym stared at Niah as if she had grown three heads and told him that the moon was made out of cheese. The brilliant scientist was actually left speechless as he tried to comprehend everything that she had told him. Project Ultron was a peacekeeping initiative - how was it able to probe the Quantum Realm? And what really even was the Quantum Realm? And what was a mutant? At least one thing she said made some sense - Stark probably messed up with the programming or something. "... So if you're from the future, I'm going to need proof," he said. "Tell me, who are the next few presidents and what happens to Nelson Mandela?" he asked. He figured those questions would be easy enough for him to detect if these people were lying or crazy.

"So he was always an asshole," Strange observed, murmuring conspiratorially to Roman. His eyes flickered over to Flynn and Raynor, before leaning in to whisper to the young man by his side. "In a few moments, one of those two will attempt to kill Dr. Pym," he said softly, winking a bit.

"Look Pym, we don't have much time for this. The future of the entire world is at stake because of your robot that takes over the world. In our time the robot ended up executing you, your daughter, and your wife on live television for the world to see."

Pym's expression hardened - it was obvious to see why. All around the lab, there were drawings done by a little kid - there were even a few pictures of Pym, his wife, and their little girl, Hope. "This isn't funny," he scolded Susan, assuming (and hoping) that this was all an elaborate hoax. "Did Stark put you up to this nonsense?"

"I wish it were Doctor, however considering the fact that we went through the trouble of getting here should say a lot. Not to mention why the hell would we come here because of Stark? Though his son is on the list of many people who died. But it isn't just your family who dies because of your creation. We're talking about thousands of people died because of it, so are you really wanting to take the chance that I'm lying? Or are you wanting to flat out ensure that something like that never happens?"

"....What would you have me do?"

Stark Tower - New York: July 15th, 2021 - 10:20 P.M.

On the penultimate floor of Stark Tower (with the top floor being the roof for technicalities purposes), Ultron was there almost entirely alone. The only other individual up there was Jocasta, his wife. Her silver coating was almost reminiscent of Emma Frost's diamond form, though there was something familiar in the way that she carried herself. No one there would be able to quite put their finger on it, though even her voice was haunting, as if it belonged to someone else.

"Vis - my dearest, what have they done to you?" Jocasta asked. It would then occur to Cass and Tinley why her voice was so familiar. Jocasta had the voice and mannerisms of Janet van Dyne, the Wasp. The last they saw the Wasp, she had been executed along with her family on television by Ultron - so why would he base his wife off of her likeness? And why is there something eerily human about this robot in comparison to her husband and son?

"Jocasta," Vision greeted. "I sustained some injuries at the hands of these rebels - nothing that maintenance cannot fix," he assured her. Wanda found it a bit creepy how comfortable the machine was being with Jocasta and Ultron, raising alarm bells in her mind that maybe this had been a trap all along - maybe it had been a long con. Had Ultron orchestrated all of this, knowing that the world's last line of defense would go all out on this suicide mission?

But then, Wanda realized that it didn't matter. She was going to kill Ultron all the same.

Ultron chuckled slightly, moving his arms out to his sides. "I have to admit, I was expecting a more... formidable force. Is this really the best humanity has to offer now?" he shook his head slightly. "Little girls, a cat, and their pet Hulk - how quaint."

"Are your scanners malfunctioning again? That's not a cat," Jocasta corrected Ultron.

Ultron quickly recalibrated himself. "A Flerken? Now THAT'S more like it!"

The Hulk wasn't really in the mood for talking. He let out a huge roar, bits of his spit flying and covering Ultron, but the android hardly even budged. The Hulk then swung his fist, only for it to connect with Ultron's hand - and Ultron grabbed the Hulk. Smirking slightly, Ultron couldn't help but goad slightly. "Oh, come now Dr. Banner, you didn't think it would be that easy? Why, you might as well just let the cat fight me, it'd be more of a challenge!" he taunted, before swinging and throwing the Hulk off the tower.

"Stay back, kitty," Wanda instructed, before red energy came from her hands, legs, and eyes as she floated up into the air. She then began to manipulate Ultron's density, attempting to make him impossibly heavy and send the machine plummeting to his grave. The robot started to go down, only for what could only be described as mechanical spider legs sprouted from his back and clung to the ceiling to present him from falling. Jocasta then charged at Wanda, sending off a blast of energy to distract her and protect her husband.

"You should have let the cat go first," Jocasta chided Wanda, sending off another blast of energy only for the Vision to fly in front of the Scarlet Witch and take the blast for her. "Vis!" Jocasta screamed, clearly panicked.

"Systems...Мрзим вас, г-дине тестисе... Te amo bruja escarlata... critical..." Vision glitched, his entire body sparking. It seemed he had finally taken enough damage to prevent him from getting back up - their synthezoid was dead.

And of course, since our heroes' luck cannot possibly get any worse, Ultron noticed Tinley going over to the terminal. "Go on, then. Try - it won't work," he sneered.

Cassandra Reed

Location: New York, Stark Tower
Skills: Mission Strategy, Enhanced Condition, Hand to Hand Combat, Season Manipulation

The moment they were all on the top floor of Stark Tower, she looked around the room before spotting another android and Ultron himself, clenching her first, she looked towards Tinley and nodded towards her friend. "Go we have your back." She said Cassandra had lost practically everything because of him. When the female android finally spoke up, she looked at her, the voice sounded eerily familiar to her. Then she realized it sounded a lot like Janet van Dyne who had died months prior as well, just as the Hulk roared and tried to attack Ultron, only for him to be flung out of the tower itself with no problem. Cassandra gently set Goose down on the ground. "Try and hide if you can little guy." She said to the cat gently patting his head, before turning her attention over to the two of them.

Jocasta fired a laser aimed at Wanda, only for Vision to take the shot for her seeing the android shutting down, she didn't know Vision all that well. She started to think of a plan that might work, looking over towards Wanda, and then Ultron seemed to notice Tinley as well now. "I'll try and distract them, just protect Tinley make sure she uploads the virus. And if possible if they fire a laser try and see if they can shoot each other." Cassandra whispered to Wanda, before charging forward.

Cassandra tried to aim a punch at Jocasta, only for the robot to grab her by the arm, and threw her across the room feeling a bit of pain at the back of her head. Looking at the dented table counter, cracking her neck slightly trying to get both of their attention as well. "You know, he's probably just controlling you as well right?" Cassandra said as she tried to use her other power, only to make a small spring breeze brush by Jocasta. "Your 'son' there, Ultron put a control chip in him. And you also know what? You do sound a whole lot like Janet van Dyne to." Cassandra said as she leaned herself up against the table.
