<Snipped quote by Legend>
Well, I won’t get ahead of myself just yet. We’ll have to wait and see.
Yeah. Do you feel the same? On the inside?

Well, I won’t get ahead of myself just yet. We’ll have to wait and see.
<Snipped quote by Intrepid>
Yeah. Do you feel the same? On the inside?
<Snipped quote by Legend>
How do you mean?
<Snipped quote by Intrepid>
Other than the physical dimensions, does everything else feel the same?
<Snipped quote by Legend>
I don’t feel any different as a person. Spectre kept saying something about how I’d likely develop more senses, based on whatever it is I’m made of, but I haven’t noticed anything like that yet.

*Nods.*
Then step a foot or two back, cause this won't be pretty...
Oh, and please take care of Kate if something happens to me. *Points to the white ferret that's somehow climbed off of me and onto spirit.*
*I sigh, before turning my head and biting down on my right shoulder, my neck looking like it shouldn't be capable of bending quite that way. As I rotate my head back to a normal position, flesh stretches for a moment before tearing to leave an open wound where an unnatural, viscous white substance starts to slowly bleed out instead of blood. Spitting out the flesh into my left hand, I quickly compress it to paper thin size and slide it under the door, all before a creature far larger then my body slowly crawls out of my wound, it's physical form seeming to absorb light while somehow retaining it's distinctive disturbing features. To each person that sees it, its form and head structure differ slightly, though those present only get a short moment to look over its full form before it detaches from me and slides itself under the door to attack and devour the consciousness on the other side.*
*Sitting down on the floor, I attempt to do some basic first aid on my mental form, clearly tired from the process.*
Let's hope that door holds.
<Snipped quote by Intrepid>
Similar enough to forget about the difference if you don't look at yourself?
<Snipped quote by Legend>
Well, it also feels different to move. I think I’m a bit shorter now, and I am very physically weak, yet I also feel lighter.
<Snipped quote by Intrepid>
I understand. With how humans work, that shouldn't take too long to get used to.
<Snipped quote by Legend>
I do already feel way more used to it than when I first came to.
<Snipped quote by Intrepid>
That couldn't have been a good experience.
<Snipped quote by Legend>
I can’t imagine it being too different from getting used to a mechanical prosthetic, just with everything instead of one part.
<Snipped quote by Intrepid>
That's a good way to look at it. Is your dad going to look into what it's made of now?
<Snipped quote by Legend>
It’s only a matter of time, I’m sure.
<Snipped quote by Intrepid>
It should probably be sooner rather than later. I guess they wouldn't know where you are, would they?
<Snipped quote by Stabby>
*some rustling and struggling is heard, then silence...*
.....
*the door begins to pound again*
*three of the seven chains across the door pop off*
<Snipped quote by Legend>
Not now. At the base, it would have been a different story. I don’t even know where we are.
<Snipped quote by Intrepid>
My home planet. Should we let them know?
<Snipped quote by Legend>
Nah, it’s not a huge deal.
<Snipped quote by Intrepid>
If you're sure. I don't want to panic them.
