Kristin Reynolds

Location: Camp Half-Blood, The Dining Pavilion -> Camp Barrier

Kristin stood a little distance away from Janelle and Jason letting the two of them say their goodbyes to each other, which made her smile a little bit. She did wish that she could have an actual sibling, though she did have a lot of half brothers and sisters, but she didn't really know all of them. Except for Alannah really since she had known her the longest since coming to camp, she ran a hand through her hair slightly. While looking over at Zeke, she did feel bad that he ended up getting bitched at just about everyone after all he was trying to warn all of them what may happen on their journey over to Camp Jupiter.

Argus was standing by a camp van that they usually used to transport the produce that the camp did make out in the fields which was another way for the camp to be funded. "So, been to Manhattan before?" Kristin asked as she opened the door to the van and climbed into the car. They wouldn't really be in the city to long and then they would just simply take a bus to where they would need to go, as Kristin fished out some of the money that she was given to by Chiron and handed the drachma over to Janelle and Zeke. "These are drachma, there are some places where we can buy some none mortal supplies, or services like sending an Iris message to your brother if you wanted." Kristin said, and then handed some regular money out as well to two of them, once all of them were in the van Argus got into the drivers seat, and started to drive off, Kristin took one last look at the camp while still seeing the ship hovering over as well.

Kiera Donovan

Location: Camp Half-Blood, The Ship

Tammy quickly came over to Leda and looked at her sister with a little bit of a worried look, she was kind of used for her usual snapping sometimes, but she was kind of worried. "You alright sis?" Tammy asked, while the others were getting up onto the ship still admiring it she wished she was going, but she did have a cabin to run as well. Chiron sighed a little bit and looked at Leda for a moment, he had a feeling that they all would make it to Camp Jupiter safely. "Safe journeys alright? And keep alert as well." Chiron said to her.

Kiera moved a little bit as the others started to climb aboard the ship on the rope ladder, she didn't like that it was a little to flimsy on the way up there. "I'm sure it's going to be a really cool adventure." Kiera said giving Mary a smile as she looked up seeing the crows nest there as well. She was a little bit worried about being attacked while on their journey over, and Kiera was kind of expecting it now as well. She noticed Lauryn and Alannah in the area that looked to be the wheel house of sorts, going over somethings when Alannah came over to the group and smiled. "So who wants a tour?" Alannah asked, they were just waiting on Leda to get onboard now before they could all leave.

🌈 Leda Storm 🌈 and ✨ Rebecca Eventide ✨

Location: Camp Half-Blood - Dining Pavilion -> Ship
Skills: N/A

Leda had the urge to throw something at Zeke's face. Feeling Kiera place a hand on her shoulder wasn't comforting or soothing - it only set her nerves more on fire. When she was angry in a mood like this, she just wanted to run and kick something, not be pulled in for physical comfort. The son of Zeus, the shapeshifter, turned into a cat and rubbed himself up against her. If it wasn't for the fact that Leda loved animals, she would have kicked him as far as she could. It was probably for the best that the cat ran towards the ship and started to climb up the rope ladder. She looked at her sister, Tammy, for a moment and she sighed. "I'm fine, just not chuffed with all of this - I'll see you soon."

She then climbed up the rope ladder and got onto the ship, standing not too far from Mary. "Oh this is going to be bloody brilliant," she muttered. A small part of her did want to geek out over how incredible the ship was. Another part of her wanted to flip off Chiron from her vantage point, since he could hardly reach her and drag her down for a lecture. Kiera seemed pretty bubbly about all of this and happy. Leda let out a huffy breath. "Let's do the tour then!"

Rebecca didn't need to be Leda's ex to see how bothered the speedster was - it was plain as day. She elected to remove herself from that situation, instead moving over towards the cat that needed information about the evil eye. Rebecca knelt down next to the creature and gently offered her hand for the cat to sniff, noticing that Demetri appeared to be behaving as a cat and not as a person in this form. "Black cats are the most beautiful," she told him with as slight smile, before scratching him behind the ears. "It's quite a shame that mortals have such an aversion to them... They're disproportionately killed in shelters."

The young witch then rose to her feet again, excited at the prospect of a tour. The ship was so large and grand that she imagined they each would have a cabin of their own. She adored her siblings, but the potential of true privacy was tempting. It would allow for her to meditate and study her magics as she pleased while on this journey. She had no doubt that she would need to do so, especially given the immense importance of their task - she didn't dare think of what might happen if they failed to reach Camp Jupiter.

Ezekiel Kel

Location: The Camp Van -- Camp Half-Blood

Ezekiel climbed into the van after the girls and switched the song on his iPod. ”Been there a handful of times,” he said simply. Ezekiel hated small talk. What was the point of it, to make everyone in the room or in this case van, as uncomfortable as possible? Ezekiel accepted the money from Kristen and counted each set before he divided it up in his bag and tucked it between his legs on the floor.
He looked out the window at the ship, sort of wishing he could be on a ship adventure rather than a smelly van adventure. Ezekiel was definitely used to getting shit on at camp. He had started here being a complete ass but it was his way of gaining a sense of control. At his former school he used to get beat up and picked on constantly, at least now he could look after himself and being constantly yelled at was easier than having to be emotionally available when he could hardly handle his own emotions. He shifted in his seat, tilting his head back to rest against the seat and shut his eyes. It was important to get sleep whenever you could Ezekiel thought because once the quest truly started, sleep was limited.

Demetri Rowan Howell

Location: Dining Pavilion
Skills:Shapeshifting

His green eyes lit up as Rebecca approached him. Kneeling down and offering a hand for him to sniff as if he was a wild animal. He did, ofcourse, take the offer and began to smell her hand. The scent of herbs and oils she had recently worked with emminating off her in a way only an animal could detect. It was a bad smell, and almost made him want to linger around her some more. As she began to scratch behind his ears he purred and leaned into it. Rubbing his head against the palms of her hands, and ensuring to get his cheeks and scent glands pressed against her as she petted him. That is until she made the remark about shelters killing black cats. His emerald eyes shot open, pupils dilating into large black discs before shooting down to thin needles as his purring stop. He took two calculated steps backwards and then shifted back into his normal brown eyed self.

"Woah woah woah. Let's not get to crazy here. I'm not about ready to use up one of my nine moves just yet. I might need them on this trip after all." He gave her a bit of a cheeky wink before following behind Rebecca as he awaited the grand tour. The ship was in deed remarkable in every way, and for a split moment he forgot about the dangers that lay ahead. He ran his hands against the wood, following the grain of the ship and feeling it for the first time with human hands. A slight urge came over him to scratch at it but Demetri quickly pushed it away. Stepping in line with the others in patient waiting.

Andy

Location: A FLYING SHIP HOLY COW

Andy looked around the ship wide-eyed. She had never been on a ship, flying or not, before. There was a lot to take in, and her question was extra important cause really how did a ship fly?

No one answered her question, but she raised her hand when Alannah asked who wanted to go on a tour. It was nice to have something else to focus on. Though she wanted a nice quiet place to be alone for a while. Maybe she could find a place on this ship somewhere when things settled down. To her experience, things around demi-gods didn't settle down.

Andy raised an eyebrow as Rebecca let Demetri sniff her hand. She kept a snerk to herself knowing that it was her brother as a cat. That was just odd. It wasn't like that was a real cat.

"Want to go the tour too?" Andy asked Arthur, she was still trying to keep near him as she knew both of them felt better when they were near each other.

Arthur Stanford

Location:Ship

The ship was something to be beheld, if not just for the sheer size of it. The wonder of it all just wasn't enough to keep him from his gloom though, and it was starting to irk him how hard these feelings were to shake. He'd considered before the idea of an afterlife fundamentally comforting, that it would make death something nothing to fear, but now he understood things a bit better. There was something that put him at ease about the fact that he knew Ash still lived on in one form or another, but the fact that he wouldn't be seeing her for a very long time stung almost as much as the idea that he'd never see her again.

He considered Andy's offer for a moment, unsure if he wanted to be alone or not. He was initially planning on wandering the ship sure, but being alone might hurt him more than help him in the long run. Sequestering himself from everyone would just let this pain brood, and he couldn't afford to let that happen. He needed to train still, to fight on for something. Being a lump and sad about everything would just put the others at risk, if something dangerous were to happen on their journey, and then he'd be responsible for the death of somebody he cared about, and that couldn't come to pass. So he nodded at Andy and said, "Yeah, let's take a tour. Help get our minds off things, you know?"

Mona was not impressed easily. Hell, even when she came to the camp she wasn't impressed so much as in disbelief. The flying ship itself was massive and seemed to be prepared for anything that could be thrown their way. Which, she assumed, would be flying monsters. Would there be other flying ships like pirate battles? Who would attack them? If there was Camp Jupiter, were there other camps with other children of gods. And if so, would they be friends or foes?

Still, it mattered little at the moment. She was on a flying ship bent for somewhere else. She didn't know what she would be doing onboard, so long as it wasn't swabbing the deck or whatever. They had powers, after all, surely there was a way to clean the ship easier than sweeping or mopping. "A tour would be nice, yeah." It would familiarize herself with the ship, see where she could stop and rest a bit perhaps or find a place to be alone for a minute to collect herself and her racing thoughts.

And she wanted to see the weapons. There HAD to be weapons onboard.

To say the least that the ship was amazing looking was more then a little bit of an understatement, considering the fact that they were going to be stuck on board the ship for a little while didn't make her feel any better about everything though. Mary preferred to stay on the ground for the most part, not caring all too much for flying, especially considering the fact that her mother was more or less the goddess of the Earth. So why would she want to be flying through the air when being on the ground was more comfortable? It made sense to go by air though, since it was a lot quicker.

Hearing Leda come up by her, she turned to look at her friend giving her a bit of a smile. "It'll be fine Leda... Try to stay a little bit positive okay? I'm not all for having the younger kids on this mission, I'll be blunt, but try not to be a downer okay? We don't want to freak them out or something okay? It might cause more problems then it would help," she whispered to her, leaning over slightly so that she could hear her. Then she heard the comment about a tour, and she stood up straight and looked at the others. 'I'm all for a tour, let's go!"

Jason Gauger

Location: Camp Half-Blood - Dining Pavilion -> Flying Ship

He wasn't too sure how stable the ship was, and he wasn't too thrilled about how steady the rope ladder was when he climbed up it. Once on board, he more or less just looked around the ship, not too sure what to really do now. He didn't really know everyone else that he was with, having just really met everyone else the day before. Now he was off on this trip or whatever it was with these people, despite the fact that he knew next to nothing about any of them. This certainly was a weird situation to be in, and he wasn't too sure what to think about everything else.

Hearing the comment about a tour of some sort, he thought it might be a nice thing, to at least see the area that they were going to be spending some time in. Maybe he can get to know the others here too while they were on their little trip through the sky. It had been a while since he had been on an aircraft, the last time being when he and his sister had flown to the US from Ireland. It had been a few years since then, and that had more or less been their first time on a plane or in the air at all. "I'm all for a tour too."

Janelle Gauger

Location: Camp Half-Blood - Dining Pavilion -> Camp Barrier
Skills: N/A

Janelle turned her attention one last time towards the flying ship in the sky despite not being able to see it, she knew roughly where it was and what it looked like, however that was the least of her concerns. Considering the fact that she wasn't even sure where the Camp Barrier really was from where they were, she listened more or less to the sound of Kristin's and Zeke's footsteps in order to tell which direction to go, and she followed along after them. Once she heard them stop, she managed to make her way to the van and found a seat as Kristin handed them money.

She wasn't too sure what exactly a drachma was, as she felt it in her hands and heard what the others were saying. "I've never really been... We lived in a home away from the city, which honestly was preferable to me, a lot less noise then a bustling city," she said in response to the question about traveling to Manhattan before. When Kristin mentioned an Iris message, she had a bit of a confused expression on her face, as she wasn't all too sure what that even was. "...If you don't mind me asking, what exactly is an Iris message?"

Location: Camp Van

Kristin looked at Zeke for a moment, of course he had been to Manhattan a few times before, she had gone on a quest with him and Leda and that was the first stop that they ended up making, and they usually always met up at the Empire State Building during the Winter Solstice with their usual meet and greet with their godly parents. Which Kristin didn't really mind going, it was always nice to meet her mother once a year. "It's really busy there and a lot of noise as well." Kristin said as Argus continued to drive them to the city and then dropped off at the bus station from there.

When Janelle asked her what an Iris Message was she mentally hit herself, she was still new to this. "An Iris Message, is basically the god and demigod version of FaceTime, or a video call. You basically create a rainbow, usually some misty water and then say. 'Oh Iris, goddess of the Rainbow, please accept my offering.' Then you just toss a drachma in, and just think who you are trying to talk to and then the call will go through." Kristin said giving her a slight smile, as she watched the ship now starting to fly off in the distance through the window.

Kiera Donovan

Location: Camp Half-Blood, The Ship

"Alright then, lets start with the top deck." Alannah said as she pointed over towards the structure towards the end of the ship. "That is the wheel house, i'll let you all have a chance at the wheel don't worry." Alannah said, as Kiera nodded slightly seeing Lauryn heading over there now, and started to move the ship and took the wheel. "How many weapons does this have?" Kiera asked, she was curious how well defended the ship was. Alannah smiled a little bit as she gestured to all of the ballistae on the ship. "Six port, four stern, four port, and four starboard, so eighteen in all." Alannah said, as Kiera nodded which was pretty surprising how well defended it actually all was as well.

"Now lets go below deck." Alannah said as Kiera looked at Leda for a moment, she did want to talk to her and see how she was doing she sounded pretty pissed off. She followed Alannah down the flight of stairs to the lower deck, Alannah opened a door once they were all down Kiera stared at the long hallway and all of the closed doors as well. "Port is the galley, pretty much the same way we get food in camp. Just think whatever you want on your plate and it appears. Starboard is the infirmary, and extra beds as well if we have more people, but there are twelve rooms in all. So more than enough for you all to have a room to yourself." Alannah said, as Kiera followed Alannah down the hallway and opened one of the doors to look in the room.

Inside the room was a single bed, desk, and dresser as well they looked pretty small in her opinion but she had gotten pretty much used to having a whole entire cabin to herself. She continued to follow Alannah towards the stern of the ship, and opened the door seeing a small armory as well. "That's obviously the armory, made some in case there was a need for some defense." She said, and Kiera got a brief glimpse of it. And then followed Alannah back down the hallway and down another flight of stairs, and started to look around seeing the barrels as well as what looked like a bunch of stables. "This is the engine room, stables and cargo hold as well." Alannah said seeing how big the room actually was.

Ezekiel Kel

Location: The Camp Van -- Camp Half-Blood

Ezekiel remained silent while Kristen explained what an Iris Message was. When she explained it like that, it sounded rather stupid to him. He understood the gods were great and powerful and most of them adored flattery but the idea of putting ‘Oh’ in front of a prayer was like all those people in hot yoga chanting. It was a bit ridiculous.
”In case you haven’t noticed it yet, the drachma are heavier than the regular currency. They are also fairly larger in size than the US coin,” Ezekiel pointed out to Janelle. ”I don’t think the average store clerk will really care what you hand him but anyone dealing with our world, demi-god, Iris messages or travel, its drachma or nothing.”
He shifted in his seat and looked out the window, watching the city come into view and sighed. Not only was it crowded and large, but the smell was awful. The warmer it was, the worse it was, the more wind you had, the more you got from the bay. There really was no winning unless you were in central park. Too bad they couldn’t just take fast travel to Texas. Now they would have to take a bus with who knows how many different human smells. At least people provided entertainment when they thought no one was watching them.

🌈 Leda Storm 🌈 and ✨ Rebecca Eventide ✨

Location: Camp Half-Blood - Ship

Rebecca laughed lightly, amused at Demetri's alarm. She wouldn't dare hurt a black cat. Of course, she supposed that some of her siblings did tend to be hostile to demigods, so she could understand his wariness towards her. She didn't classify herself as a white witch, yet she did believe in helping the forces of good rather than those of damnation. "There's no need for alarm - I'm not about to skin you," Rebecca teased. "I don't believe there's a single spell in my grimoire that requires the pelt of a changeling demigod."

Leda huffed slightly at Mary's comments. She hadn't even gotten started yet on the fact that the little kids had been approved to go on this mission where they were almost guaranteed to have at least one of them die. "Fine, Mary," Leda relented. "I hope you're able to grow some Mary Jane with your powers, it'd make this trip a lot more pleasant." Her mother was the rainbow goddess and some of those stereotypes were definitely true for Leda. She didn't use recreationally too much, but she had enjoyed the experience the few times she had. All of the colors in the world were a lot more vivid.

The amount of weapons they had on the ship was certainly formidable, though it was to be expected. This was a war ship - anything less would have just been inappropriate. Rebecca looked around with curiosity and interest, especially as they went down below deck and saw the cabins. Everyone would have their own room. She very much appreciated that, as it would give her the space to study and hone her craft - as well as to brew potions without others complaining about the thick scent that would engulf the room. The armory was well supplied and the cargo hold was gigantic. "This is divine, Alannah - truly."

Leda crossed her arms at the end of the tour. The ship was pretty amazing, she had to admit. And she liked that she'd have a room to herself, giving her some room to breathe and think. She had to wonder though how many of the others on the ship would even be ready when it came to using the weapons to defend the ship - or even their own powers. "Is there anything else we ought to know about this place?" she asked.

Demetri Rowan Howell

Location: Ship Tour
Skills:

As they began to walk on with the tour, Demitri had decided to keep close to Rebecca, his eyes wandering along the areas mentioned but always settling back on Andy and Arthur to make sure they were ok but given their space. In the moments of wonder and walking where the halls would stretch, Demi leaned into Rebecca whispering to her. "So...this might sound odd but I could smell the herbs off of you and was a bit curious as to how you Hecate girls do your stuff. Are outsiders allowed to see at all or is it super private? Cuz I wouldnt mind learning a thing or two about flora's and the power of healing or what not that they harbor. Could be handy in a pinch if something happens and I'm either alone or without a child of magic or healing." He straightened back upon and smiled towards Alannah as she continued to speak of the tour and show off the infirmary.

Once they began to move on again Demetri retreated back into his mind, paying as much attention as he could to Alannahs words but focusing more on the task ahead, the dangers, and any possible plans to avoid any deaths. With the sudden halt he noticed they finished the tour and others were already asking questions or praising the situation. He took this time to speak to Rebecca once more, adding on to what was said beforehand. "Also I uh...appreciate you not wanting to skin me. It means a lot heh..." He wasnt sure if it was needed but had figured he should thank her all the same.

Andy

Location: The ship

Now that they were on the tour properly Andy listened closely. She didn't know what port or starboard meant, or really a lot of the terms Alannah was saying which made Andy a little upset. She pushed that away though to ask instead, and it hurt to ask cause if Ash were still alive she'd be asking for her. "Uh, what does port mean?" She raised her hand slightly, but didn't wait for permission. "Also how does this thing even fly?" There was a part of her that wasn't completely ready to accept "magic" as an answer just yet, and that was with a brother who had just been a cat.

During the tour, she did keep close to Arthur and gave him a look when they said there were enough rooms for all of them to have their own. She hadn't slept alone almost since coming to camp and she knew Arthur wouldn't want to either. There was something reassuring about having someone you trusted in the room. It meant safety. It meant if something went wrong you had someone to watch your back. Alone was a terrifying prospect that she, and she was certain Arthur, didn't want to do. If all else she would sneak into his room so neither of them had to be alone, and Demetri could sleep at the foot of the bed again as a cat.

Arthur Stanford

Location:Ship

Walking with the group, Arthur was trying to pay attention, but was failing desperately. The galley was nice, he supposed, having access to literally any food he wanted was a luxury that most didn't have, but he just couldn't get himself excited about it. The armory failed to interest him either, not caring much for weapons short of their capacity to keep himself or others safe. It was relieving to know that they thought enough ahead to know that this ship needed an infirmary. For all he could say about the demigods so far, they seemed to take all this seriously enough.

When they saw the rooms, he smiled a bit. They were small, but cozy in a way. It was reminiscent of his time at the wretched school, but much nicer, and all to himself. He didn't know if he was ready to sleep alone yet, but he was glad that when he was, he'd have a place to go that wasn't a mausoleum. He did chuckle a bit at Andy's question, before responding playfully, "Well, the theme of the week seems to be magic, so I'd guess that." He couldn't think of any other way for something like this to fly, and he considered if it were otherwise possible, the rest of the world would have figured out how to make these a long time ago.

Mona followed along with the others as they began the tour of the ship. It didn't spark anything in her as she imagined this was common, but the others asked questions she had wanted to. How DID the ship fly, after all? "Who would attack us up here anyway? What are the common ones, I guess I'm asking. Better to prepare for them now than be surprised later." Not that she didn't think all of the weapons onboard wouldn't be able to handle it.

In fact, the further along on the tour she was, the more confident she felt. This appeared to be a well-oiled machine and she hadn't seen a crew. Which meant if it relied on them to fly it, it had to do its job well. She didn't know the first thing about ship maintenance and sailing so if she had to learn quickly, she expected it to be able to maintain itself or, at the very least, not require too much. Hopefully, Alannah would share that information as well. Mona was impressed though. And that took a lot.

Kristin Reynolds

Location: Camp Van

Kirstin looked out the window as she could see the city skyline now, and smiled a little bit it was really nice to see the city again, though they would have to be alert just in case they did run into any monsters. Even though they are at the center where the greek gods did rule they resided in the Empire State Building where Olympus actually was. The traffic within the city was pretty busy like it usually always was, Argus was pretty much quiet still, he never did speak either really as she looked at Janelle and smiled towards her.

A few seconds later they were now in the city, just outside of the bus depot where they could get tickets that would take them to their destination. "Just remain close, and don't wonder to far we can still encounter some monsters here." Kristin said as she climbed out of the car looking at Argus and smiled towards the camp's security chief. "Thank you Argus." Kristin said, and he nodded before getting into the car and headed into the bus station, inside she could see some people sitting there and waiting, though she remained close to Janelle in case she needed some kind of help.

Kiera Donovan

Location: The Argo III Cargo Hold -> Crew Deck

Kiera was curious how the ship even ran or how it flew as well which was something that she really did want to know, from her time at camp, she knew that the Mist had hidden the ship from mortal eyes so they wouldn't see a massive greek warship flying through the air. Which would be really weird to see as well, she looked at Alannah and Andy for a moment when she answered. "The Argo III, we can still change the name if any of you guys want. It runs on a combination of twelve ingredients, water from the River Styx, Lemnos Fire from the forges of Hephaestus, essence of venti, tar, lime and celestial bronze, and a few other things though Lauryn wont tell me what though. The oars outside keep the ship afloat in both the sky and water, and the sails help us move along like any other ship that uses sails." Alannah said, and smiled towards Andy again.

"Port and starboard mainly mean in sea terms the left or right side of the ship, bow and stern mean front and back." She said Kiera wasn't sure what the ingredients meant, as far as she knew it meant that it kept it flying, which she didn't mind at all, she ran a hand through her hair a little bit and looked at the stairs, she wanted to pick out a room already and get settled in pretty quickly as well to. "Wind spirits, and the occasional monster as well, there are some that can fly, or if the gods are feeling really moody and want to mess around or something to, you are all welcome to pick out your rooms and get settled in to now as well." Alannah answered, Kiera didn't have any issue with going and picking out her room.

"I'm going to go pick out a cabin then." Kiera said, as she started to make her way back up the flight of stairs, and started to head down the hallway, which felt a little bit cramped at one point, and found a room that was the closest to the armory. She opened the door and looked around, seeing that a lot of the colors were the camp's usual orange color which was really nice, and started to take off her backpack setting it down on the table nearby.

"I know that this mission isn't exactly ideal," she said to Leda, shaking her head slightly. However, hearing her comment about marijuana caused her to laugh slightly. "Not sure if you should be smoking a joint at all Leda, however if I feel like everyone really needs to calm down for whatever reason, then I'll see what I can do about that," she said with more of a laugh as she smiled at her friend. The idea of everyone getting high as a kite was hilarious to think about, but not very realistic.

She was all for the tour though, and she followed along with the others to see what all was on the ship. It definitely was a lot bigger then she would have thought, and she was more then happy at the thought of having a room to herself. It would be nice to be alone every once in a while, away from others, that was something to make this journey a little bit better in her mind. "Having a room to myself definitely sounds nice... Think I'll go see about finding one too," Mary commented before she wandered off slightly to see about picking out a cabin.

Jason Gauger

Location: Camp Half-Blood - Flying Ship
Skills: N/A

He still wasn't all too sure what to think about the ship that he was now standing on. Everyone started walking around to go on the tour, so he followed along after everyone else, glad that they were going to hurry up and hopefully get this over with. He wasn't even really sure why he had even volunteered for this sort of thing when he hadn't really been at the camp all that long. Oh well, there was no point in backing out of it now, he had said he was going to do it, and he meant to follow through with it. Just he wasn't all too sure what to do about the people around him who seemed more then a little bit strange.

Jason glanced around the armory when they came to it, more then a little glad that they seemed to have a decent sized one that had several different things in it. Sure, he might be somewhat new to this, but the one thing he was decently good at was fighting, despite not having all too much training in that field with the campers. Or the sort of training that they typically had for demigods, but he was all for being able to pick up a sword or something if he wanted to. The ship was definitely something, that was for sure, and everyone else seemed all for it, even if one of the people seemed a little down or annoyed almost by certain things. It was Leda, the girl who had been against Janelle going on the quest and all. He agreed with her on that point earlier, just not really saying it out loud.

"...That certainly sounds like an interesting sort of thing... Though I typically never used any sort of video chat thing... Phones made more sense to me... Since I mean... I can't typically see a screen or whatever, but that definitely sounds like an interesting sort of way to communicate with others if need be," she said with a small laugh, since partially in her mind the prayer or whatever that Kristin had said or whatever sounded a bit ridiculous. However, she figured that prayers or whatever was more common with the demigods then they were with normal people. So it was something she'd have to get used to.

Hearing Zeke's voice, she turned towards the sound of his voice when he mentioned what the drachma was, and was glad that he described more or less what drachmas were and how they worked for demigods. She hadn't really heard about the coins, but now she knew for the most part how to use the new bit of currency that she had with her. When she felt the car stop and the door opened, she moved to get out of the car, pulling her cane out so that she could more easily navigate the streets of the city, and she got out of the car, hearing Kristin's words. "...So monsters are a common occurrence and what not in reality, that is definitely good to know. I'll try not to wander off or away from you two," she said with a small smile.

🌈 Leda Storm 🌈 and ✨ Rebecca Eventide ✨

Location: Argo III
Skills: N/A

Rebecca smiled brightly as Demetri inquired about her craft. Not very many demigods beyond the children of Hecate attempted to learn the ways of magic and the mist. There was no rule against teaching them however, as far as she was aware the main sources of reluctance were a lack of innate ability or the time and dedication it took to mastering the craft. "If you are asking if I could teach you magic, then I would be delighted," Rebecca answered him at a whisper. "Come to my cabin this evening. I imagine since you are a changeling, you likely will have the aptitude for the craft."

She couldn't help but grin a bit wickedly as he thanked her for not skinning him at the end of the tour. "Don't thank me yet," she warned him ominously, just messing with his mind. That was something she was fond of, something that had once upon a time endeared her to Leda. Her mind wandered over towards Mona's question. In her experience, there never really were a usual sort of monster. They always came in great variety and numbers. Sure, aerial based ones would make sense given their location, but even then there were thousands of options as far as she was aware.

"Joint promise," Leda whispered to Mary. She then rose her voice to a normal volume. "I'll see about doing some preliminary prayers, sacrifice some food to Zeus and the other minor gods of the sky... That should help us at least with their threats. Unless of course some of them decided not to play Team Olympus in this debacle," she added, thinking aloud a bit at the end there. Not all gods were thrilled with Olympus - especially the minor ones. She couldn't blame them. They were often overlooked and mistreated. Sometimes they even faded away into nothingness. Her own mother, the messenger of the gods, hadn't even had a cabin at Camp Halfblood for too long.

Of course, her mind flickered back to Zeus. She really hoped the presence of his two children on the Argo III would be enough to keep him from slamming them with a lightning bold, but they also had a child of Poseidon on board. That wouldn't help at all. She didn't want to get stuck with the worst cabin though, so she hurried off to go find one to move into. She hoped it would have a window at least, that way she could have a nice view. Rebecca went off to select one as well.

Ezekiel Kel

Location: Bus Depot -- New York City, New York

Ezekiel flipped one of the drachmas Kristen had given him to Argus. ”Your titillating conversation is always a pleasure Argus. Maybe on the next go round you can run a magical cleaning through the van, ya?” Ezekiel said before he climbed out. He stood with the girls on the sidewalk to the bus depot. He looked up and down the walkway, trying to spot a vending machine. He knew there had to be one somewhere, there always was.
”Ya, sticking together usually is best. I was informed once that splitting up the group is a bad idea. Although far less exciting in my opinion,” Ezekiel teased. He glanced over at Janelle, hoping she would get his humor before looking at Kristen. ”We need road snacks. I’ll take requests as long as you get me my ticket,” he told Kristen. ”Janelle, chips, candy, something to drink perhaps?” He started backing away from the two of them slowly, waiting for their requests while also covering ground at the same time.

Demetri Rowan Howell

Location: Ship Tour
Skills:

"Changling, I like that. Sounds much cooler than shapeshifter in my opinion. I'm not sure how much magic I'll be able to learn but I'm always willing to give things a try. So I suppose I'll see you later." there was a slightly twisted smile on his face as a chill ran down his spine at Rebccas last words. He waved her goodbye and then noticed the fiery haired Adonis before him. Well, not actually Adonis, but he was definitely cute. Two steps in and he heard Leda mention offering prayer and food to Zues and Demetri couldnt help but roll his eyes. "Give him the fat and bones like he chose so many eons ago. he doesn't deserve much more" That last part was spoken under his breath, barely a whisper as he continued onward towards the ginger haired boy.

Demetri leaned against the wall opposite of him, arm placed above his head as he leaned on the wood and look at him. "Hey, names Demetri. You're new in camp right? Sorry that you came during such a hectic time. It's been uh...dark. Buuuut adventure is out there and you took a chance at it, as did your...sister? I remember her claiming but I cant say I recall yours. Who seems to be your Demi-daddy or mom? Mines Zues which apparently is a big deal but honestly makes it feel lonely you know? Anyways care for a roommate? Or cabin buddy to help pass the time on this ship?" The chances that they batted for the same team were slim to none, but if ginger here happened to play for his side he wasnt going to waste the opportunity of a week long cruise with him. And Rebecca with magic ofcourse and his Sister who he had no doubt may want to hang during this time.
