Ezekiel grinned, listening to Janelle continue to giggle. She had quite the giggle and he didn't mind hearing it in the least. He looked over at Kristin, opening his mouth and then closed it, pouting. ”Well it’s no fun when you point it out,” he said and didn’t mention spiders.
They continued walking, taking Janelle’s warning in stride when they came across the thing that was apparently making noises. ”Always a Cyclops,” He noted. Ezekiel got his bow and an arrow ready while Kristin pulled out her spear. He took aim, watching the Cyclops with one eye and Kristin with the other while she took a whack at his leg. As soon as she was clear, he fired off an arrow, impaling it in the creature's eye. The thing was still alive but at a much better disadvantage.

Marco frowned more as it was explained they would be heading to Mount Tam. Honestly, he was glad that Niah was going to be there, as well as Emily since Charmspeak against a Titan? He'd be lucky if he survived trying to do that to a god... and that wasn't easy. Hell, he only knew of one powerful Charmspeaker that had helped fight against a Titan, and it hadn't been her alone that had done it. So having multiple people there and trying to subdue the Titan would be for the best. However...

"I do agree we should go quickly, but doesn't the Senate need to vote on this first? I know I'm not really into the political side myself but if this is a quest, we need to do this right." He was sure none of them would really want to go to the Senate about this, even though they probably would get approval as both the Praetors were on board with this, but still if they didn't do that right others would protest.

"Also Nancy, I didn't take you as the kind of person that would want someone significant to you to bring you lunch. I was pretty sure you didn't really do relationships."

Arthur Stanford

Location:The Ground
Skills: Ferrokinesis, Knife fighting

Watching a Venti attack Demi, a sort of anger overtook Arthur. He wasn't too close to Demi, but he was done with the idea that he'd lose another person today. His knife floating up in the air, the Stygian blade embedded itself in the monster, rendning it from existence. A kind of fire blazed in his eyes, and the knife continued to stab away at the next one, missing twice, while the monster lunhed for him in turn. Side stepping, he glared at it, before giving a look back to Demi, making sure that he wasn't hurt too badly, flahsing a smile he way and exhaling in relief.

Retracting the knife back to him, he looked at Andy, saying, "God, how many more of these things can there be?" He hoped they'd be cleared out soon, he didn't want to keep fighting anymore. Killing just wasn't in him, even if it seemed like he could do it well enough. Life was just too much right now, and the endless sea of murder he found himself in was getting painful, and annoying, The more he was on this mission, the more he knew that this was not the life that he really wanted to have. It was exhausting, both emotionally and physically, and not something that sparked joy in his life.

✨ Rebecca Eventide ✨

Location: Argo III - the Ground
Skills: Necromancy

"Hmm. I'm not quite sure - although there do not appear to be many left, perhaps we are almost done with this task... I would not mind taking a moment to center myself here. The atmosphere of a storm is always quite empowering," Rebecca said. She had gotten back up to her feet, focusing on keeping active control over her skeletal minions. They ranged in time period of origin, but their fighting was largely the same without great variation in skill level. The soldiers killed one of the Anemoi Thuellai and Rebecca sucked up its remnants, getting a bit more fuel for the Argo III. One of the spirits killed her soldier from WWII and Rebecca sharpened her concentration.

"Blessed be, soldier," she said, as a means of thanks. She redirected the remaining trio of undead to avenge their fallen comrade. One of them missed widely, its movements shambling and uneven - yet the other two were victorious, killing the Anemoi Thuellai and Rebecca collected its remnants once more. She wondered what the capacity was for each of these individual packs, if they could accidentally over pressurize them and end up accidentally making a bomb out of pure storms. It was a thrilling possibility.

Her eyes flickered over towards Leda a bit pensively.

🌈 Leda Storm 🌈

Location: Argo III - the Ground
Skills: Agility, Sword Fighting

Leda was living her best life, dodging lightning blows from the venti as it ran around her in a circle. Her eyes moved rapidly, tracking its movements as she tried to make the best dashes from side to side in order to come out unscathed. As a daughter of Iris, the messenger goddess, speed was one of her greatest assets. She was a real life superhero, someone with tangible speed and powers unlike those in comic books who relied on abstract things like the Speed Force. "I've got this!" she reassured Kiera. The battle was almost over anyways. The number of venti left had dwindled to under ten. She thought that she had spotted an opening as she rushed, only for her shoe lace to have apparently come untied, sending the demigoddess sprawling onto the ground as she tripped.

"I really do got this!" Leda reassured Kiera - or perhaps herself. She picked herself up from the ground, minding the untied lace that had caused her to trip, and she darted at the venti again. She swung Ultraviolet, the sword shining a bright orange, and the sword passed through the spirit. The venti fell apart and Leda quickly sucked it up using the contraption, with just a sense of static in the air revealing it had ever been there. She took a moment and bent down, double knotting her laces so that way nothing so embarrassing could happen again.

☀️ Nancy Parker ☀️

Location: New Rome - Coffee Shop
Skills: N/A

"Well it definitely won't work if you have a piss poor attitude about it," Nancy told Marco bluntly. As much as she wanted to leave the Vegas strip behind, she had been a child performer. Most of being a good entertainer was simply projecting confidence and assuring people that she was capable of doing anything she tried. Doubt just invited weakness. "You've got Venus juice running through your veins. I know you can do this. Titan or no Titan." She raised a slight eyebrow at Waverley's innocence and naiveté with regard to all of this, but it was understandable she supposed. Not everyone knew about everything, although at this point Nancy tended to default to the if there are stories about it, it exists line of reasoning. It saved time.

Nancy did a bit of a double take when Madalyne said Leandra's cohort would be represented. There were six of them - Niah mentioned earlier that the other three were all from the Fifth, Niah was from the Second, Madalyne the Third, and Nancy the First. The Fourth Cohort was the only one that wasn't represented in the Quest, but she assumed her co-praetor had just gotten things a bit confused. Or were one of the others actually from the Fourth? She sized them up briefly, trying to determine who was naturally annoying and vain enough to be from that cohort but she couldn't decide.

She made a face when Madalyne said she'd have to ask her out. "Can't two best friends bring lunch for each other? Why does romance have to be the only route to free food in this time period?" she groaned. "And right on. I'd rather wrestle a chimera than date someone. Anyways, we can check in with the Senate when they reconvene later today. Shouldn't be any problems with it, unless Leandra decides to run her mouth, but I'm aching to scream in her face and go all Black Canary on her."

Waverley Watts

Location: New Rome - Coffee Shop

"Oh, thanks," Waverley mumbled as Madalyne dragged a chair over for her, which she didn't hesitate to plop down in once she had placed her guitar leaning up against it. As Madalyne explained that they wouldn't, in fact, be going to New York, Waverley's shoulders slumped, a small frown creeping onto her lips. The concept of going back there had gotten her so excited, so it was natural she'd be a bit disappointed with the letdown. Her frown lessened and her eyebrows raised in interest, however, when the praetor began to describe where they'd actually be going. Waverley had heard of Mount Tamalpais before, but she'd never been there. After years of travelling, she'd grown to enjoy new experiences.

"Gotcha...So how many days should I pack for?" she asked, not directing the question at anyone in particular. They all likely had enough knowledge on these kinds of quest to answer the simple question. When Nancy mentioned Leandra, Waverley flinched a little bit. She knew the girl, and had mixed feelings on her. She liked some of the girl's ideas, as well as her ambition, but she was a little...intense, to put it nicely. Even so, it never seemed to her like the girl was in the business of arguing on things simply for the sake of arguing. She tilted her head, her teeth beginning to nibble on her straw once again as her attention landed on Nancy. "Do you really think she'd do that? She kind of seems like she's got better things to do."

Jason Gauger and Marygold Isley

Location: The Ground
Skills: Sword Fighting, Chlorokinesis

"Well dis is a whole laht o' foehn now ain't it?" he commented, looking over towards Demetri as the guy seemingly kept getting zapped by the Venti. "Your dad is Zeus right? Den why do you keep gettin zapped by lightnin, isn't dat what Zeus is sahrt o' known fahr?" he added. It was a bit strange to him that Demetri kept getting electrocuted by storm spirits when Zeus was well known for lightning and storms. It kind of was the god's thing last he checked, but at the moment it didn't really seem to matter at all.

Nope, now was not the time to keep questioning that, now was the time to slash at the few remaining Venti in the area, as their numbers were clearly dwindling. Jason whirled around and slashed at one that was near him. He didn't seem to do much damage to it, but it decided to retaliate and zap him, but luckily it was only really a small shock. Slashing at the creature again, this time he managed to kill it, before he pointed the vacuum at its remnants now. "Dese guys are annahyin," he muttered as he vacuumed it up.

"Well, at least it doesn't seem like there are too many left, which is good for us in that we can't get going on our trip again, but bad that we have to get back on that flying ship again," Mary commented towards Rebecca as she sent vines after the few remaining Venti now. She rather easily wrapped up the first one that she saw, tying it up rather tightly in the plant life, but the other one nearby, it decided to be a bit trickier as it dodged out of the way and avoided her attacks.

"Come here you little rascal," she muttered, as she sent more vines after it, but no matter what she seemed to do, or how she seemed to wrap everything around, the Venti still was avoiding her vines. "Alright, now you are getting on my nerves." Sending more vines after it, getting more and more annoyed with the spirit, eventually Mary managed to wrap it up along with the other one. "Okay, now someone want to vacuum these two up or what?"

Janelle Gauger

Location: Washington DC
Skills: Heightened Hearing

"I've heard about those, but they just sound disgusting to me," she said towards Kristin regarding her comments about candy that had bugs in them. That sort of thing always was weird to her, but considering she never really knew what bugs (or anything really) looked like, she could only somewhat imagine what that sort of thing looked like. She could try it, but she doubted that she ever would willingly, someone would have to make her try it or trick her into eating something like that.

Then she heard the chaos regarding the Cyclops making it's grand entrance and everyone attacking it. Listening to the monster's movements, she had her cane pop into the bo staff as she whirled to try and hit the Cyclops. Her first attack missed the Cyclops entirely, but she whirled around and slammed the staff into the creature's leg, there was the loud sound of bones cracking when she did so, and she took the end of the staff and stabbed right through the Cyclops, killing it entirely as she pulled her staff back and lowered it. "This is really starting to get more then a little bit annoying to me..."

Kiera Donovan

Location: Argo III Upper Deck (Outside of Kansas City Missouri)
Skills: N/A

Kiera turned her attention over towards Leda seeing her having a bit of trouble and tripping even against the Venti that she was fighting against was kind of funny and smirked towards her. "Sorry I have to say that was kind of funny." Kiera mentioned to Leda as the others were fighting, and it seemed to be done now as Kiera made her way over towards the Venti that Mary had and quickly sucked them up into her own little vacuum cleaner thing filled with the Venti that she had killed. The weather around them started to clear up now as well since the Venti were the ones that were controlling the little storm. Kiera made her way over towards Leda as she tied her shoes again and offered to help her back up again.

Both Alannah and Lauryn came over towards the group as well after dealing with the Venti as well, Alannah made her way over towards Demetri who looked like he was battered around the most by the Venti. She knelt down and checked his injuries seeing the bad burn that he had received and took out her bottle of nectar and offered it towards him. "Here that should patch you up rather quickly." Alannah said giving him a slight smile, once he drank some it would taste like one of his favorite drinks. "Alright lets get back up now and we can refuel." Lauryn said as they both turned and made their way up the rope ladder of the Argo III again.

"You were awesome by the way and that was actually a lot of fun." Kiera said towards Leda and gave her a kiss on the cheek and smiled towards her. She started to follow Lauryn and Alannah up to the main deck of the Argo III again. "Just set them down gently and i'll get them loaded into the engine room." Lauryn said as Kiera nodded and took hers off setting it down near the stairs to the lower decks. The undead soliders that Rebecca had summoned looked at her before saluting her, and then they quickly turned to dust after their task had been finished.

Madalyne Crane

Location: Camp Jupiter: New Rome, Coffee Shop
Skills:

Madalyne nodded slightly they did need to inform the Senate about what they were going to be doing, since both Praetors were also going to be leaving to go to Mount Tam to visit Atlas. Though it would be another annoying boring thing she sometimes did wish that she could have declined the field promotion to Praetor as well. "Nancy, Niah and I can go and inform the Senate about our little plan to visit Atlas. While the three of you guys meet with Alexandra at the Augury see if she can have any insights to what we might encounter on Mount Tam." Madalyne suggested to Emily, Marco and Waverley.

"I'm only messing with you." Madalyne said with a slight laugh towards Nancy and gave her a playful nudge as she stood up and quickly chugged down the rest of her hot chocolate and looked at Waverley asking how long they should be packing for. She looked towards them as Madalyne thought a little bit, it shouldn't be more than a days journey either. "Probably a day or twos worth of supplies should be fine." Madalyne said figuring that it was a good number you never know what you could encounter while outside of Camp Jupiter's boundaries.

Kristin Reynolds

Location: Greyhound Station, Washington D.C. -> Chick-Fil-La
Skills: N/A

Kristin watched with a bit of amazement that Janelle easily took out the Cyclops without to much of an issue as she looked at her and smiled a bit. "You are getting better at this." Kristin said towards Janelle it took her awhile to get used to fighting against Monsters, even though weapons came easily to her and how to use them, but actually fighting was hard at first. There weren't anymore monsters in the area which was also a relief as well.

Kristin managed to find the Chick-Fil-La without much of an issue either as she held the door open for the two of them as soon as they got in Kristin closed the door and made her way towards the front of the line she looked at the two of them. "What did you guys want anyway also if you want I can read off the menu for you if you'd like Janelle?" Kristin asked figuring that it would make things easier for her as well.

Demetri Rowan Howell

Location: Ship: The Ground > Top Deck
Skills:

Demetri breathed through clenched teeth as the pain coursed through him. He was kind of hoping that being the child of Zeus meant that he was immune to or at keast resistant to the damage that lightning could do. His breathing began to slow down, the pace steadying from three quick sharp exhales and a large inhale to a nice and even inhale ans exhale. He mustered just enough energy to be able to speak out to and correct Jason. "Lightning yes. These storms no. That's Poseidons domain. Besides... He took another deep breath "I don't think he likes me all that much." Demetri removed his hand, a slight stickiness to it all as some singed blood left strings behind and he inspected his wound. It didn't look great, but he wasnt dead.

Demetri tilted his head back as he heard footsteps approaching. Alannah seemed to be offering him a bottle. He looks at it funny until she mentioned it would help heal him. Eager to rid himself of the pain he took the bottle and drank from it. Its taste was sweet, and smooth, almost creamy as he removed the lip from his lips and looked at the concoction once more. "Is this actually ambrosia? or is itsome other honeyed drink?" As he spoke he felt his breathing regulate and the wound began to close. "Either way thank you, can't say that was pleasant" With that he made his way back up towards the Upper Deck of the Argo III

And then like that the fight was over. The adrenaline that was coursing through Andy's veins slowed down. She was breathing heavily her face flushed with excitement. Unlike Arthur, she enjoyed fighting. She had spent too much of her time running from monsters it felt good to defeat them. To stand shoulder to shoulder with people she cared about and know that she had a chance to win.

Andy smiled at Arthur. "That was cool that you can make your knife fly around like that." She told him as they climbed back onto the Argo three. She watched as Demi drank the nectar, she had had it before so she knew it would help him like it had with her broken arm. "Feel better?" She asked him. "It tasted like apple juice to me." She told him.

Emily glanced at Marco as he expressed that he thought Nancy wasn't the 'date people' type of person. She agreed. In her not-yet-professional opinion, Nancy had zero desire for anything resembling a romantic relationship. She wasn't surprised when Nancy expressed her disdain for it.

"Makes sense." Niah said in response to Mads. She was sighing as she stood up. "Of course the Senate is going to have a fit though at being recalled again today." She could just imagine Leandra adjusting time-tables in her notebook again. Niah took a sip of her tea. She liked to drink it slowly and savor it.

"I personally wonder if there is something wrong with Alexandra with as much joy as she seems to get from gutting stuffed animals. Think one wronged her as a child?" Emily then tilted her head thinking. "Pack extra underwater and socks though. Those are always important to have extras of on a quest." What was nice about the whole apocalypse coming is those ignored college applications wouldn't be giving her the side-eye for ignoring them.

"Well if there is something wrong with Alexandra maybe you can fix it?" Niah offered hopefully. Emily only shrugged. Niah also wondered if Emily had tried fixing whatever was wrong with Leandra. Though Niah was no professional maybe Leandra has OCD or something?

"I prefer helping give people tools to help themselves rather than just 'fixing' them. It works better that way." Emily explained. She stood up at that point. "Alright, let's go. Babe you'll have to eat as we walk."

"Piss poor attitude I might have, Nancy, just charming a Titan is even hard for my mother... or she would have boinked them all until peace was settled. But thanks for the vote of confidence. It does help." It was indeed nice to know that Nancy felt that he could do it if it came to that. It wasn't like he tried to tap into Charm speak too often if he thought about it... he had always assumed when he was younger people had given him things because of whom his father was. When he had found out it had been because of his mother's gift, it had surprised him a bit but well... he never used it on his partners. That would have been dishonest.

"Blame pop culture for why food has to apply to romance Nancy, though again, really, you don't seem the sort to date. As for the senate, if they really get fussy about meeting again, I could smooth things over if you wanted?" It wasn't so much that he didn't just want to help with that, but he also wasn't too fond of Alexandra. She took too much pleasure in tearing apart the stuffed animals to get her visions, and for poor Marco... he had seen her tear into a stuffed Dove once, one of his mother's symbols and that had rubbed him wrong.

"Okay, fine... let's go... thank goodness you brought me a sandwich today instead of that chicken pot pie, huh?" Marco chuckled a bit as he swept up his lunch and then paused. "I should probably let them know I won't be back today... important Demi-God business."

Demi-gods four, monsters 0. Or a point five if one considered how annoying the harpies were. Ezekiel looked at Janelle, impressed and put his bow away. ”You’re a natural at this Janelle. Truly,” he noted. He chuckled when she mentioned that this was annoying. ”All a part of the questing journey I am afraid. They generally only get more challenging as you go along,” he confessed. Still, they seemed to be holding their own and Ezekiel liked how this quest was going far more than how his first one did.
Ezekiel followed along behind the girls to the restaurant and smirked a little when Kristin held the door open for the both of them. ”Ah, the twenty-first century,” he said triumphantly and entered the shop. He looked up at the menu, trying to decide what he wanted. He didn’t eat at this place often. Come to think of it, he wasn’t even sure if there was one in his area of Maine.
Ezekiel turned to Janelle, opening his mouth when Kristin swooped in and offered to read her the menu. He frowned and glared back at the menu. He was trying to play things smooth and keep it natural but if Kristin was going to keep blocking him he was going to have to get drastic and up his flirting with Janelle.

✨ Rebecca Eventide ✨

Location: Argo III - the Ground -> Upper Deck

Rebecca returned the salute that the undead soldiers gave her, smiling at them. "Go in peace," she bade them. They crumpled into dust and returned to the ground from whence they had come. The storm had largely subsided, without the Anemoi Thuellai to fuel it. She could feel the angry spirits moving around some in the contraption she had on her back and she wondered how quickly they could stir up a new storm if released. "Thank you for partnering with me, Marygold. You're a formidable warrior with the makings of a sorceress." Demeter and Hecate were rather close deities. And of course, Rebecca expected that Marygold would excel at herbalism and potion-making due to her talents with plants.

She frowned ever so slightly, seeing Kiera kiss Leda on the cheek. She felt a tinge of anger deep in her stomach, the emotion shocking Rebecca. She and Leda had ended things amicably. She had performed a cord cutting ritual as well, to ensure that there wouldn't be any remaining ill feelings. And as for public displays of affection, Rebecca never minded them. Yet she couldn't shake the sour feeling from seeing the daughter of Poseidon kiss her ex-girlfriend. She climbed up the rope ladder and set her canister of spirits by the others. She then pointedly went back over by Marygold, trying to clear her thoughts slightly.

"How are you faring, Marygold?"

🌈 Leda Storm 🌈

Location: Argo III - the Ground -> Upper Deck
Skills: N/A

Leda accepted Kiera's hand, getting back up to her feet. Her shoes were securely tied, but the battle was pretty much over by now anyways. She was pretty chuffed with how she had done, adding a few more monsters to her kill list. Marysas the Satyr was probably the most famous thing she had killed with her sword, Ultraviolet. She only regretted slightly slaying him, since he had been an amazing breakdancer, enough to put Zeke to shame (which she had loved). "Thanks, it was rather smashing," Leda agreed. "You weren't too shabby yourself, mate."

She blushed ever so slightly as Kiera kissed her on the cheek, but she was beaming with pride. Not only had she killed a bunch of monsters and gotten to burn off some restless energy, she also got a kiss from a cute girl. Even having her ex-girlfriend, Rebecca, just a few feet away from her wasn't enough to sour her mood. She climbed up the rope ladder and reemerged on the deck of the Argo III. She set down her container of venti-juice next to the others carefully, not wanting to find out what would happen if the containers broke and a bunch of angry venti popped out.

"Oi, who's turn is it to do watch?"

☀️ Nancy Parker ☀️

Location: New Rome - Coffee Shop
Skills: N/A

Nancy raised an eyebrow, surprised to hear Waverley defending Satan's Niece, Leandra. Most of the Senate didn't even really like Leandra. The other praetor for the Fourth Cohort also didn't really jive with her from what Nancy could tell. Though she supposed that Waverley was naive enough that maybe she had fallen for Leandra's Hero of the People act. "If I didn't think she'd do it, I wouldn't have said it," she told Waverley a bit harshly. "All she cares about is undermining my authority because my dad is Apollo. She wants power for her own sake. Don't let her fool you into thinking there's anything philanthropic about it. That bitch is grody to the max."

She made sure that she had finished every last drop of her drink, before somewhat reluctantly rising from her seat. The Senate Building was probably her least favorite place in all of New Rome (her favorite being the shrine to her aunt, Diana, on Temple Hill - or the coffee shop. It was a toss up). At the very least, they shouldn't need to have too long of a meeting. She wanted to hit the ground running, find out what they could from Atlas, and face this nightmare of a prophecy head on. Running away and hiding behind budgetary meetings wasn't going to solve their problems. "I'd rather someone gag me with a spoon than go on a date. Just seems like a waste of time and energy. Monsters to slay, places to see, and all that jazz," she told Marco.

Arthur Stanford

Location:The Ground
Skills: N/A

As the last of the monsters were vanquished, Arthur relaxed, and put his knife away. Smiling at Andy, he said, "Um, thanks." he didn't know how he felt about being complemented for his skills with a weapon that he didn't want to have to wield. He was happy that he could protect himself and others, but the knowledge that his existence hinged on that fact soured it. He felt complicated right now, a feeling that had started when he got here, and just hadn't found a way to stop itself. He had a desperate want for some kind of normalcy, but everyday that just seemed to get further and further away.

Climbing aboard the ship, Arthur was looking forward to another bit of relaxation, this all had really stressed him out, and he just wanted things to be calm for all of five minutes. He was concerned about Dem, but honestly, being around him might put him in a bit of a panic attack. It reminded him of when he had knocked Andy out of the tree and broke her arm, and he didn't want to think about that right now. Instead, he hung out around the top deck, waiting for them to set off again. Hopefully the wind in his hair and the gentle sway of travel would keep him calm enough.

Waverley Watts

Location: New Rome - Coffee Shop

Waverley gave a solid, single nod when Madalyne divvied up the duties, rising from her seat in preparation to leave. When she did, she found herself standing alone, as it seemed the others weren't quite ready to go. Awkwardly, she slowly lowered herself back onto her seat. As they went on to talk a bit about Nancy's sexuality and aversion to dating, Waverley's eyebrows popped up in surprise. She probably should have picked up on it in her time knowing the girl, but she had always had a pretty garbage gaydar, a fact that lead to all manners of both embarrassing rejections and missed opportunities. She was content to simply listen and fade out of the conversation, but she was quickly pulled back into it when Nancy's sharp voice cut into her. Waverley winced, the smile that came with the enjoyment of being part of something quickly giving way to the hurt expression of a pup who'd just been kicked.

"If you say so..." Waverley mumbled, though her uncertainty was evident. She lowered her head slightly, allowing her hair to partially obscure her face. She'd never been one for confrontation, except for when it came to injustice and things she actually cared about, which didn't apply here. So when Emily declared that they best be off, Waverley wasted no time in popping out of her seat, once again gathering all of her things. "Wait, hold on, don't clock out yet," she told Marco, flipping out her wallet and briskly walking back over to the counter. Once there, she dropped a pair of denariuses into the tip jar. Once they fell with a tink inside, she turned back to Emily and Marco, giving them both a smile. "Alright, now go for it."

Mary nodded towards Kiera as she vacuumed up the last of the Venti that she had grabbed a hold of, saying nothing towards her as she glanced over towards Rebecca, seeing the undead soldiers that she had summoned as they vanished into dust. She wasn't too fond of the idea of summoning the dead, but hey, even that had it's uses, and she had to admit that the soldiers that she had summoned had been helpful. Now all that mattered was maybe moving onwards with their journey or something, though she was a little bit disheartened at the thought that they'd have to go back on the flying ship again, but she said nothing as she climbed up the ladder back to the upper deck

Jason just shrugged slightly at Demetri's words. He didn't know all too much about the different domains of the Greek gods, it was a bit strange still to try and think about it. Of course, he did just fight against weird storm spirits whose essence or whatever it was was going to be powering their flying ship. Oh, and everyone had vacuum backpacks reminiscent of Ghostbusters, so could the day get any stranger? Probably considering they were a group of demigods, and heading to go talk to a group of Romans.

Hearing Rebecca talking to her, she nodded her head, giving her a smile. "No problem, that was actually kind of fun! It also was kind of interesting to see the different eras that those undead you summoned were from," Mary said to her with a smile, glancing around the area that they were as she thought about Rebecca's next comment, well more of question. "I'm doing alright, didn't really get thrown around at all, so that was nice. Not too thrilled about being back on the flying ship again so soon, but can't help that, we've got a job to do after all," she said towards her.

Jason climbed back up onto the ship, following along after everyone else, and saying nothing as he did so. Once he reached the top deck he glanced around, listening to what the others were all saying and doing. He did have to admit that Leda's question made some sense, since he didn't really remember at all who was supposedly next in the watch rotation. If Jason was being honest, he didn't even remember who he had been partnered up with for the watch rotation either, so that would be an interesting thing to learn again.

"It's joehst listenin really, it's nahthin all dat special..." Janelle commented, blushing slightly from the compliments. This was a sort of thing that wasn't very common for her, at least it hadn't really been until she had gotten to Camp Half-Blood. Ever since she was little people under estimated her abilities and never really gave her any compliments for her achievements, even though they were somewhat far part. Turning her bo staff back into her cane, she followed along after Kristin and Zeke to the restaurant.

"I've never been to dis restaurant, I've ahnly really 'eard o' it," she added as she entered the building with them. Of course, she could smell the food rather easily, and it definitely reminded her of how hungry she was. "Is de food good 'ere?" she asked the pair of them, before hearing Kristin offering to read the menu off to her. "Dank you Kristin, dat wooehld be 'elpfoehl," she said with a smile. Since after all, she couldn't actually read the menu herself since she couldn't exactly see it.

Kiera Donovan

Location: Argo III Upper Deck -> Crew Deck
Skills: N/A

Lauryn started to gather up all of the backpacks a little bit awkwardly but she started to do her first trip down to the bottom deck of the Argo III. Alannah looked at Leda for a moment when she asked who was going to be doing the next watch, Mary, Demetri and she had done the first shift after all. "Arthur, Rebecca, Jason and Andy are the next ones up I believe." Alannah answered Leda's question as she looked at the time on her watch, it was 8:30 in the evening now, and they hadn't realized what time it actually was either.

Kiera stayed fairly close to Leda and gave her another smile as she listened to Alannah as she mentioned the next round of people to watch right now. "I'm kind of hungry right now, I might go and get a bite to eat or something." Kiera said looking at the four who would be on watch next. "If anyone wants to join me anyway." Kiera said, she hadn't really eaten anything since this morning when they all left the camp.

She started to head down to the lower deck looking over at everyone else who was there mostly towards Leda to see if she would join her or not. "The four of you guys can get a plate of food to if you want while you guys are on watch duty to if you'd like." Alannah said, deciding to get something to eat as well to. Kiera found herself a seat and a plate as well, as some food started to appear onto her plate with some seafood that she was actually craving along with a cup of coke as well.

Madalyne Crane

Location: Camp Jupiter: New Rome, Coffee Shop -> Senate Building
Skills: Roman Mythology

"We can meet in front of the Senate building once we finish everything, sound good?" Madalyne asked, she didn't like the idea of having to deal with the Senate again, or having to see Leandra's face again either cringing slightly. "Lets just hope that Leandra is to busy to even know that we are starting another Senate meeting today to." Madalyne said shaking her head slightly as she heard Niah asking if there was a way for Alexandra to stop gutting stuffed animals.

"Well it's better than actually gutting animals, in ancient Roman times the augurs, or anyone who practiced Haruspex to do divination work usually sacrificed sheep or poultry in order for them to interpret omens during that time." Madalyne said, she did study both Greek and Roman Mythology growing up, even more when she came to Camp Jupiter though that information was really creepy to her still as well. "Anyway lets get going." Madalyne said as she got up and then started to make her way out of the coffee shop and made her way back over towards the Senate building. "Lets get this meeting over with and then we can actually go and have fun on our little adventure." Madalyne said, it felt like a lifetime since their quest for the gem.

Madalyne walked over towards a small room on the far end of the Senate floor and opened the door to reveal a pull string and gave it several hard yanks. A loud bell started to ring off signaling anyone who was in the Senate that they were needed again and everyone in Camp Jupiter and New Rome would be able to hear it.

Over at the Augury where Emily, Marco, and Waverly would go they would find the painting that Alexandra had been working on earlier, she was now asleep on her bed holding a stuffed rabbit that hadn't been gutted surprisingly. On the floor there was the occasional gutted stuffed animal or body part of a stuffed animal on the floor.

Kristin Reynolds

Location: Washington D.C. Chick-Fil-La
Skills: N/A

"No problem." Kristin said as she started to look up at the menu for a moment seeing what they actually had, she hadn't been to Chick-Fil-La in a really long time. "Theres their chicken sandwich, spicy chicken sandwich, spicy deluxe sandwich and just the deluxe sandwich, mac & cheese, grilled chicken nuggets, grilled chicken sandwich, a fruit cup, cobb salad, chicken noodle soup, spicy southwest salad, grilled chicken club, chicken nuggets, chicken strips, grilled cool wrap, chicken filets, waffle fries, kale crunch side, greek yogurt parfait, waffle potato chips, and a market salad." Kristin said as she looked at all of the menu items as she finished listing them, while staring at Zeke for a moment.

"Personally I like their chicken nuggets not the grilled ones, and their waffle fries." Kristin said to Janelle, but that was what she preferred when eating here if she had to anyway. Kristin's eyes started to wonder around there wasn't anyone or anything out of the ordinary which was actually a good thing as well which made her relax now as well.

Demetri Rowan Howell

Location: Ship: Top Deck
Skills:

Demetri shrugged towards Andy. "It tastes like milk and honey for me. Sweet, smooth, and absolutely delicious." He stretched his arms, twisting his body and feeling the nectar take its affect. His sides were already beginning to feel better. Collapsing backwards onto the floor of the ship, he laid there for a moment taking in the sights before his ears perked up to an all to amazing sound. It appeared he was relieved of his watching duty, a lovely sigh escaping his lungs as he closed his eyes and was ready to relax for the rest of the day. The suns rays beating down on his face.

Demetris attention was immediately grabbed by the sounds of Kiera announcing food. His eyes shot open as he tilted his head towards her direction. "I could surely go for some food right about now. You've definitely got the right idea there Kiera." He got up from the floor and looked over to the rest. "I definitely suggest grabbing a plate sis before heading onto the watch duty. Hopefully you won't end it with a massive cow resting on top of you but hey who knows whats gonna happen on this crazy ship."

Ezekiel Kel

Location: Streets -- Washington D.C.
Skills:

Ezekiel crossed his arms and looked up at the menu, mulling over what he wanted. ”I can pay for this round of food,” he said, unusually kind. He had actually been given money this time from camp and so was going to try to make up for mooching off of Kristin last time around. He looked over at Kristin, feeling her staring at him and gave her a look. ”Would you like a picture?”
He decided he would get the spicy chicken sandwich as he didn’t mind spicy foods. Ezekiel faced both girls, waiting for them to make their decision so he could start the order. He now looked at the rest of the restaurant, including the front door and windows. On the street, looking in through one of the windows was a woman who was blatantly staring at the three of them. Ezekiel kept his eyes on her while he spoke. ”I suggest ordering soon and something easy to eat,” he added. ”We may have to run.” The woman was simply starting at him, so who knows what she wanted or what she actually was. Sometimes it was best not to engage until they did and you could defend better.

Andy was hungry so when she was told she could get dinner she did so quickly. She was excited to get to be on the watch. Andy didn't know what all that included, except that she would be watching for monsters. Her dinner was mac & cheese and some garlic bread, and of course, her drink was apple juice. Andy smiled at Arthur. She was worried about him, he seemed upset about something. Andy guessed it might because of Mona, but she couldn't be certain.

"Thank you." She told Alannah. "Where do you want me to be on the deck?" Once Alannah told her, she went to the station and ate her food while watching the sky for any other monsters that might decide a boat full of demi-god kids seemed like a good snack. Andy wondered how many other monsters there were that could take to the sky.

Niah's face contorted into a grimace. She did not like the idea of live animals being slaughtered for the purpose of prophecies. "I just think she's overly happy to be doing it." Niah shrugged. "It can't be normal." Niah took her seat at the Senate table. She could only hope this went quickly. If only a few of the Senators showed up they'd be able to push the trip through and get going before it was even two.

"Yeah, just remember fun adventures for us tend to mean life-threatening situations. Cursed items. And probably at least one near-death experience, or actual death of a friend." Niah was suddenly feeling very dour and she couldn't place her finger on why. "Sorry, probably a bit darker than necessary."

Location: Camp Jupiter: New Rome, Coffee Shop -> The Augery
Skills: Roman History

Emily's shoulders relaxed a bit when the Preators and Niah left and they split off and headed toward the Augery. It wasn't the Preators personally that were an issue. Emily was fine with both Madalyne and Nancy. It was their office. Emily did have an issue with authority on principle. That had been a given with her childhood, but she had made strides to not being a shithead. Authority figures still made her a little nervous though. She hoped that during the quest she'd be able to relax and forget that they were the Preators. Also, Niah was just such a square. She shook her head slightly laughing to herself and then entered the Augery.

Her smile dropped as she looked at the painting that Alexandra had done. Gods, they hadn't been joking. The painting was a terrifying future. One they would have to face. Emily didn't know what her role would be in that, and hopefully, Alexandra would be able to shed some light on that. Speaking of Alexandra she was curled up on the floor in a mess of stuffed animal remains.

Emily looked back at the painting trying to figure out what it meant. She was no prophet, but she knew enough Roman History that she might be able to find common threads of information.

Marco was about to remark on Nancy's comment of 'gagging on a spoon,' since honestly, the girl needed to know what she was experiencing was normal. However, he could realize the seriousness of the moment and so decided having the: "Oh honey you sound Ace to me," talk with Nancy would come later. He stood up and went to head behind the counter. He untied his apron and was about to tuck it away when Waverley spoke. "Yes Waves?" He laughed as he saw her put some coins in the jar and then went to fish his share of the tips out before clocking out. "Thanks Waves. See ya later." His last comment was tossed at his coworker, who simply shrugged at the fact that Marco was clocking out early due to demi-god duties.

As they walked to the Augery, Marco took Em's hand in his and gave it a light kiss before they stepped into the building. Once inside his smile dropped as he saw the painting Alexandra been working on. "By gods..." If this was close to what Nancy had seen earlier, no wonder the Praetor was shook up about this.

He decided that he would be the one to try to wake the sleeping beauty, by walking over and gently shaking Alexandra's shoulder. "Alexandra... we need to see your guidance."
