Lavender actually pouted behind her mask at Clay as the dagger was swiped away from her, around half of her attention focused on the man and glaring as hard as she could without taking off her mask. She gave a sigh and looked around, a bit sad that a possible new weapon of her’s was taken but getting over it quickly and checking to see whether it would be more worth it to watch from where she sat or join in the action. She spotted the griffin-like creature mid-battle, and Lavender had to admit she rather admired their power. The woman also glanced around to check if the dark haired boy was okay and found him being held up by that little fae.

Making up her mind, she searched her cloak for any weapons she could use and somehow pulled out a short sword, which she carried around wherever she went. Not what she would’ve like to fight with, but if she could light it aflame it should still be effective..hopefully. Lavender really wasn’t sure of the weaknesses of the wraiths.

With a sigh, the woman lit her weapon on fire and launched into battle, focusing on finding one wraith first and attempting to find it’s weaknesses before she fought the other entities.

@Katakuri

Lavender heard the winter-looking being shout out if anyone had silver. In a quick movement, she pulled out an entire quiver full of silver arrows from within her coat (god knows where she got that from, it’s practically useless for literally everything else) and tossed it to them, never really ceasing her search for a solo wraith.

Ethodi

@Zyx

With her table lifted up behind her, the naga had made her way to the section where the wraiths seemed hesitant to follow. One or two of them were swatted away with her tail and that seemed sufficient to keep them from trying anything different. Having repositioned her table near the tall figures she relaxed once again and once again began to reinscribe her circular tablets, though she couldn't help but watch the game the figure was playing against itself.

Lyren lifted their stony gaze, literally in this instance, to regard the naga.

"I see your gaze Ethodi. Tell me, dreamer, what it is about my game that intrigues you so."

Their lips didn't move, though their voice was perfectly articulated all the same.

Fire and silver, while not instantly fatal, devastate the wraiths and tear holes or slashes through their shadowing form. The wraiths are powerless as they coalesce back into shape. With enough blows their glowing red eyes fade away as the darkness of their shadows diminishes to nothing.

While sleep seemed to be a thing the wraiths did not know of, the one fighting Ghair seemed to slow and slightly even pacify.

”Protecting the rest of the tavern!” the boy shouted as he squirmed about.
”Now let me go, there are other people here too that aren’t aware.”

"Alright, Alright relax!"

Anya almost dropped him when he squirmed around, and yelled, "Don't do that!"

"Do what you have to do, just don't get yourself hurt!"

And with that, the fae dropped him from the air.

Looking back around the Tavern, she noticed one of the wraiths very near her, and blasted some air in it's direction, hoping to have knocked it over at the very least.

"Where's that stupid fae magic when you need it?!"

His ungloved hands were on the creature and he noticed the beast began to slow in all categories. It was not falling asleep, though he was happy that he could cause it to minimize its attempts at harm. The tingling in his own body was slowing down, but he could tell that it was happening at a slower rate.

Someone threw a quiver of silver arrows at him, which he didn't realize were being thrown, but he appreciated it. Taking his one hand off of the wraith, Ghiar quickly grabbed one of the silver arrows and began to penetrate the shadowy form of the wraith. Noticing it was not an instant death was okay. Ghiar noticed that the wraith was not repairing those parts of the shadow as fast from where the silver touches and it might be helping that he was still holding onto the creature, Thank you for the arrows!" Ghiar appreciated the arrows a lot.

Lavender nodded slightly to herself when she saw the effect fire and silver had on the wraiths. Now, she had information on the weaknesses of the beings.

Checking her flamed weapon to see if it's blade was made of silver, she moved on to the next wraith she saw and threw fire on top of it with a flick of her wrist. Her blade was unfortunately made of some other metal, but still served it's purpose as she slashed at the entity until it faded away. She continued singling out wraiths and repeating the process of burning them and slicing at them.

@Katakuri

"Yeah, sure, no problem-" The woman replied, slightly distracted with blocking the claws of the wraith she was attacking. Lavender took care to avoid the wraith's grasp but she was starting to slow down and was unable to throw her fire at it.

There was a loud ’crash’ as Clay suddenly went hurtling through the air and came down heavily onto a table, wood and splinters flying everywhere. He groaned as he squirmed around in the wreckage. A wraith hovered slowly closer, its malevolent gleaming eyes glowing hot with hatred.

Clay reached for the dagger that had escaped his grasp but it was gone, in the hands of a woman who was crawling around on the floor. Now armed with a magical dagger she grew confident and daring, she stood and stalked back to where her friend struggled profusely with one of the undead. With a scream she charged and struck at the wraith, missing, and scored a thin red line across her friends shoulder.

The effects of the dagger were almost instant. The mans features grew gaunt as his skin paled and shadows started to gather around him while his eyes grew red with an eerie intensity.

“Oh god. Get the dagger off her!” The waiter boy yelled from elsewhere.

It was chaos to say the least, Vendril's eyes flickering from here to there as everything happened. Though it was the loud crash that caught his attention, head turning on a swivel to see Clay and the broken table. His words coming forth right before the pair of bullets that peppered the wraith, if it wasn't enough another pair would find their way against the spectral being as Vendril rushed forwarded. Picking the man up with ease and setting him down.

"Stay close!" He'd utter loudly before moving for the woman in question, taking aim and firing the last bullets he had loaded into the wraith. Ejecting the used ordinance onto the floor and quickly reloading, by the time the wraith may turn around he'd once again have his pistol up and at the ready before firing into the spectre again. Once it was beaten or had fled he'd rush over to the pair and quickly see what was going on. But if he knew any better the man was turning into one of those things.

In response he'd pull the woman away, if Clay listened himself as well, to a safer distance before quickly going through his bag trying to find something that he could use. He knew his own blood would work to counteract any poison, disease or even magic but Vendril couldn't be certain the man would survive the transition himself. But without any other method at his disposal, Vendril groaned as he took out a knife and cut his finger enough to bleed before rubbing the injury with his purple blood. Better to at least try then just to allow it to happen. For Vendril the wound just starts sizzling and whatever intruding substance would fizzle and turn to smoke, be it as simple as rubbing alcohol to magical substances.

After a few minutes of struggling, a few minutes of calming the wraith down, and a few more stabs with the silver arrow - Ghiar was able to watch the wraith slowly disappear into thin air. Having a sigh of relief, he didn't think it was going to attack him right away. He did not get the feeling that it was that aggressive, but he was glad that he was able to handle the immediate issue.

Looking around the tavern, Ghiar noticed many more wraiths wandering around and assaulting people. Assaulting the guests. Sighing at the sight of such an event, the gray man decided to pick up a few more silver arrows. Putting a few of them through belt loops and one in each hand.

Hearing the waiter boy shout out for help for someone to take the dagger away from a girl. Another visitor seemed to have it under control for the moment. Ghiar would stay focused on the small group of wraiths that he was trying to get away from some of the guests.

Anya stared at the chaos, trying to register what was happening.
She was about to do something when she noticed a wraith grabbing, or perhaps clawing at her bare foot.

Anya shrieked, attempting to fly off, but being held in place. She was trying to rush in every direction, grasping around in the air for help. Without thinking, she tried to bite the wraith, the girl wasn't sure if it could actually be bitten, but she tried anyway.
During this, she was constantly shrieking "Help!!" in the Hope's someone would help her out with the terrifying creature.

Lyren spared a glance. A single glance, and the wraith was gone, having been seemingly turned into a chair. They then returned to their game as though nothing had even happened.

Lyren spared a glance. A single glance, and the wraith was gone, having been seemingly turned into a chair. They then returned to their game as though nothing had even happened.

Anya blinked, and the creature disappeared.
"How did.."
She whipped her head around the tavern, trying to work out what it was
"It just.. went poof?"

The shock was taken over by curiosity, but she knew it wasn't the time for questions.

"Whoever got rid of the wraith, thank you!"

She decided that she would go searching for them later, after all, only an enormously powerful being would be able to make a wraith vanish seemingly into thin air.

The girl continued along in the air, trying to help people where she could.

The process sure enough halted and the man fell into some semblance of sleep. However...
In that time a wraith emerged from beneath the ground and had plunged the dagger, still in the woman’s hands, deep into her stomach. The deep wound caused a much faster transformation and she started wildly slashing about, catching two other patrons with just a small scratch before turning on Ghair.
But a small scratch was all they needed...

”Restrain them!” the boy cried.

With the man settled he'd forgo them anymore attention as things happened behind him, turning to face the woman thrashing about as he groans and rushes for her. Though with her wild thrashing she'd take a good cut into his chest before he could grasp her hand and force the dagger out of it. As the magical vapor hisses out of his wound with purple slowly staining his front, he'd quickly stuff the dagger away in his pack without much care. With that out of the way he'd look to his own wound, this lady may be unable to be saved with how deep her injury went. He was lost on what to do, his eyes flickering to the men she struck out against, they still had time but she didn't.

"Oh damn it all.." He'd utter under his breath as he wipes the purple blood under his shirt, making sure it was good enough before smearing it across her own wound. His gun at the ready as he forces her on the ground, ready to put a bullet in her if it doesn't work. No one should go out like this. But regardless of what happens he'd deal with her however needed before moving to help those she struck out against. He wouldn't care if he would be seen as cold-blooded or not, he's seen and been through enough to not care how others think of his actions. But now here he was tending to patrons, purple having soaked the front of the shirt to his dismay and this dagger which he didn't need to just feel was magical and dangerous.

Lavender took in a sharp inhale of frustration when she saw the dagger in the woman’s hands. She would’ve tsked if she weren’t in a bit of a dangerous situation of blocking a malicious wraith’s claws. Eventually she gave up and just ducked under the wraith to sprint away to some distance away from the chaos.

Hah. Chaos. Entertainment.

Gods forbid, why did she have to ask for a dagger? Now there were both wraiths and dark beings roaming around. Speaking of the dagger, the fox-faced woman spotted the man that was speaking with the fae child earlier stuff the dagger in his pack hurriedly to tend to the foolish woman. Good. It should stay in there. Lavender spared a hesitant glance towards her sword, which was now not so flamed anymore.

She lifted a hand to set fire to her blade once again, not very quickly as she assumed she wasn’t in any danger at the moment. Once she had flamed her weapon once more, she spared a glance towards the patrons who had been scratched too, wondering whether she should help restrain or stop fighting and just lean back to watch the show.

With one silver arrow in each hand, he went up to a small group of people that were dealing with a wraith of their own - nameless NPCs. Stabbing both arrows through the wraith, moving it around the shadowy-unstable body. Ghiar was able to put one of the arrows into his back pocket, so he could grab onto the wraith. To calm the creature down so it would not fight him as much.

"These arrows are coming in handy, thank you! What is your name?" he called over to the girl who threw the quiver of silver arrows to him. He appreciated it a lot, especially with how well they were working to take out the wraiths. Along with fighting wraiths, being newly employed, and not knowing more than a handful of people; Anya and his boss Dorian. Why not make introductions during a chaotic situation? @aia2022

Lavender’s eyes had rather unknowingly drifted over to the being which she would just assume would be a winter spirit. She noted that the silver arrows she had thrown to them were being used as their weapon of choice. The woman also noted they put one arrow into their pocket to put a hand onto the wraith they were fighting- which resulted in the wraith slowing down and almost pacifying. Lavender stored that information into the back of her mind to go over later.

”It’s Lavender, and you’re welcome.” The fox-faced woman called back. Were they really trying to make acquaintances mid-battle? A bit of a mistake, considering that the wraith they were fighting could easily swipe at them even as it were starting to slow.

Ghiar was showing a more arrogant side of himself which was not unlike him – he was practically a teenager or young adult in the sense of his species. Most of the time his powers would cause passivation or the individual to fall asleep so he could be overconfident in his abilities from time to time.

Taking a glance at the woman's face who was speaking back to him, she didn’t appear human – was she wearing a mask, or was that how she actually looked? He found that either answer would be interesting. Allowing himself to be distracted, the wraith seemed to be pacifying, but willing to attack – slashing at Ghiar.

The claws of the wraith went through Ghiar easily, as if he was not actually there. Dark goo began to leak from the shadowy-transparent part of his body where the creature wounded him. His body began to fall apart in the sense of becoming darker with shadows and avoiding the absorbent of light – he was darkness now. Ghiar’s powers tend to be heightened in this form and he flew back over to the wraith, grabbing on, and the creature appeared to pacify faster. This time, as the wraith was disappearing; Ghiar was absorbing it. Most might not notice but another star began to shine in the darkness of his body.

Wraiths, the dark, coal eyed, life hating shadows, since their first appearance had dwindled in number, then risen again as the dagger began its evil work of turning other creatures into more of their own.

Then with the dagger secured away, their numbers began to dwindle once again.
Even though the wraiths seemed few in number now things only grew more chaotic as fear either subsided or set in. Both a good enough reason for men to grow foolish.

Arrows, bolts and bullets would seemingly fly through the air at random. Some passing through a wraith like shadow, many not. The room flashed with the warring of light and darkness. Effects and side effects of spells. Tables crashed and people cried, war cries and cries of pain, some hard to tell apart. A small fire smouldered on one wall, threatening to take a curtain soon.
A large wolf had appeared from somewhere, growling deeply and lashing out at multiple wraiths trying to close in on Vendril’s backpack. Trying to reclaim their knife.
