I'll probably expand a lot more on the background and whatnot on Skjsel. I was mostly trying to hurry up and get them posted
It seems like a lot of people have multiple ideas, myself among them. I wonder, since unless I've misunderstood it seems like the PCs might be getting minions/subordinates at some point, if some unused concepts could be repurposed into mini-sheets for minions or other NPCs?
Oh, I forgot to ask.
Will you as the GM be creating a GMPC of your own to play as and use to interact with the rest of the cast? Or will you go the whole "disembodied narrative voice"-route and only play as NPCs/enemies/the enviroment? :o
My ass is the dungeon spirit, your overworked secretary who physically is unable to quit and legally doesn't have ownership rights.
So a mix, but probably closer to 2. That isn't to say that players can't do those things, though.

I’m ready for Gentle to get put into a corner for continuously picking up short characters without consent so he can talk to them face to face.
Ngl, I just want to do a little pixie, imp or pseudodragon that runs the Dungeon Tribune, a weekly newspaper update XD
@Lugubrious Burger did offhandedly mention we might be able to play as NPCs.

Guess we'll have to wait for an elaboration on that.
@Burger
I asked about the "how long" have we been summond-deal earleir.
How much do our characters know about each other at the start? Like... Do we know what race each other "boss" is, straight out of the gate? Do we know their name? Their titles? Can our characters distinguish between "important" monsters and gacha-mooks just by looking?
Or are you going with the whole, first day at the office with a fresh batch of new-hires who've never met or seen each other before?
Ok, Burger, but what if I designed a little system for gacha pulling? ;3
