Defining trait: Passion
Martyn is, in a single word, competitive. To him, everything is a challenge that needs to be conquered. That said, he has so far struggled to find his niche. Having tried sports, tabletop games, academia and even e-sports, he has found adequate challenge, but not an adequate passion to beat it. Lately, he has been looking at collectible card games.
On the outside, this makes him seem kind of insufferable, as he will try to make everything into an event - whether you actually are on one, or whether you just want to eat a meal that's a bit spicy - he will try to go above whatever you're doing or having, often without regards to his current capabilities, but to his credit, also without regards to his comfort. He is willing to put in the blood, sweat, tears and all-nighters to get on your level and then beyond - if the challenge calls to him.

Defining trait: Inquisitiveness
Siobhán O’Riley never meant to end up in a world made of data — she just wanted to understand how it ticked. A sharp-tongued Irish techie with more brains than patience, she’s the type who’d rather debug a universe than believe in fate. She hides behind dry humor and logic, but there’s a quiet spark of wonder in her all the same. The Digital World might be bizarre, glitchy, and occasionally trying to kill her, but to Siobhán, it’s the most fascinating thing she’s ever seen — and she’ll be damned if she doesn’t figure out how it all works.

Defining trait: Willpower
A former NEET and mess of a teenager who took to streaming and vtubing to try to make something of herself. She took a bit too well to it, and devolved into a gremlin and attention whore to cover up her insecurities and timidity with false bravado. Now, stuck in a world straight out of fiction and science fantasy, Azumi's mask is latched on tighter than ever to avoid cracking from the stress of the situation. And to maybe do something worthwhile with her life and break out of her shell for real this time.

A sleepyheaded and somewhat lazy-minded girl, she's usually having her head in the clouds and is always usually passive, not caring what happens as long as she can have some peace. She can be a hard-headed girl and always peeking into someone's conversation that she has no buisness into listening to. Itori used to not be this lazy passive girl, as she developed a dislike of doing extreme things due to her formerlly being a girl who wanted to try doing extreme sports, but go injured during a contest with bike tricks and dropping her dream, as she can only imagine now. She may redevelop this love for adventure and the thrill of adventure.
Defining Trait: Diligence
22 years old, the fourth and youngest son of Sho Tatsugami, head of the Tatsugami Conglomerate. A reserved and self-possessed young man of concise words and scarce patience for those he feels are wasting his (or their *own*) time, he's very much the type of person you'd expect to emerge from such a distinguished background: but that's only half the picture. A thoughtful sort deep down, his outward persona is the result of pressure from both without and within; with his father looking to retire and his beloved eldest brother forsaking his inheritance, the family expects him or his brothers to take up the reigns instead. Part of him feels he isn't cut out for such a role, and another feels he's the only one among them who has the mindset to *lead* rather than stagnate or meander in frivolous indulgence. Such is the rub, and this dilemma informs much of his behaviour, both in his own affairs and those of the strange world he's been whisked off to...

A small wisp of living data born from the remnants of long-forgotten sentinels, this Digimon drifts like a candle in fog — a pale flame hidden beneath an oversized, lopsided helmet it’s too small to wear properly. It clinks faintly when it moves, shy yet stubbornly drawn to stand between danger and others despite its trembling form. Over time, that faint ghost-light begins to take shape: a spectral silhouette with a floating gauntlet and fragments of spectral armour orbiting a heart of flickering code. Half-formed and unsure of what “protection” really means, it mimics the gestures of knights it only half-remembers — a child’s imitation of courage slowly learning to become the real thing.
A digimon survivor from one of the two fallen chessmon empires. Whereas the white chessmon empire fell to a corruption zone, the black chessmon empire was destroyed by a different threat, although PawnChessmon pretends to have no memory of that, and publicly claims it was either the white chessmon or the corruption zone that destroyed her former home. She intends to play ignorant of the real perpetrator until such time she gains the strength to pay them back with the same coin.
She wishes to gain the power to become the next chessmon queen, intending to restore their fallen empire. To do that though, she must save the digital world itself first.

An artificial, barely stable mess of junk data and scrap code resulting from being mutated by a corruption zone. All it knows is that prior to falling victim to mutation and degradation, it was someone once. Someone of power. Of import. Having somehow stumbled out of the corruption zone in which it was reborn, this half-warped mess was found and stabilized by the powers that be. Why had it been Chosen? Perhaps they saw the spark of potential within it from whatever being of might it had once been...
A still young yet hotheaded digimon hailing from the desert kingdom. He is young yes but is highly ambitious to become a general, but that isn't happening until he controls that temper of his. How he was even chosen to be a partner to a human? He has no clue, but if helps, it helps.
Dokugumon was once a regular hellraiser, known by both common folk and the rowdier crowd for mischief and misdemeanours. These days, however, she's the landlady of a small outpost in the forest at the edge of Dominimon's fief, an acerbic figure with little patience for anyone trying to drag her back into the fold or otherwise getting up to no good in her little corner of the world. She's lived the troublemaker's life, and while she still has her share of fond memories of those dubiously-good old days, all she wants nowadays is a steady rhythm and to make an honest living putting travellers up for the night. So long as you don't make trouble, your money's as good as anyone else's: and if you're interesting enough, she'll even go a round of drinks.
Of course, with much of the territory surrounding her little outpost being swallowed up by the burgeoning corruption, good company is growing scarce, and money even scarcer. Something's got to give, and while she'd rather not get involved in any of that that 'save the world' crap, she's got a sinking feeling that with all these weird-ass bipeds turning up, she might not have a choice...

Digimon concept: Jellymon
A headstrong Digimon who sees herself as a guardian or protector to whoever needs it, whether it's a village she finds on her journey, a traveller she meets on the road, or even the whole Digital World if need be. Or maybe just a group of wayward humans. She was taught martial arts by a Digimon who once saved her in the past and is now trying to do right by them by being a saviour to someone else.
