Background Potentials: 1. Humanity's Potential: Ever since her encounter with the Cruxi, Elora has felt like she was different from her fellow peers. She kept having strange dreams, and sometimes experienced strange things. It was these phenomena that convinced the Galactic Federation's local representative to refer her for the experimental program: she had yet to grasp what she was truly capable of.
2. Supporter: Elora is a dedicated support unit for the squad, sworn to do her best at intelligence gathering and application of the Combat Analyzer System to benefit her allies.
3. Clairvoyance: Elora has sometimes seen strange visions. They started out as dreams, but eventually began to take place in the waking world as well. Usually they are muddied and make little sense...But the little glimpses she does get confuse her to no end. Why is she seeing these?
Perks: 1. Enhanced Uniform: Elora has a custom uniform she personally requested after she realized how loose the chest portion ended up on her. It seems Ritsu agreed, and took measures to ensure she got one that was as comfortable and useful as the nervous, self-conscious girl could have. It's still not great, but at least she got a new game out of it.
2. Memento: Elora has a heart-shaped locket with a picture of her parents inside. She sometimes opens it and looks at the picture to remind her of happier times..And a future she must fight for.
Personality: A shy and introverted girl, Elora has been shaken by the loss of her family back in her home planet of Verdigris, and has found it difficult not to burst into tears at the slightest provocation. Still, she has decided to do her best for the sake of her parents, and hopes to become stronger in the future...Unless the war destroys her spirit first.
Background: Elora's life growing up was fairly normal, if a bit lonely due to her introverted nature. But everything changed when the Cruxi arrived. The sky was filled with green fire, and hulking troopers marched through the streets, rounding people up and dragging them in chains back to their ships. It was only thanks to her father's sacrifice that she managed to escape, and his final words are something she won't ever forget. Now, after having been accepted into the Framewerk experimental pilot program, she hopes she can redeem herself for what she considered cowardice.
Missing People: Her family, consisting of her parents and younger brother, have disappeared. She hopes they are alive out there somewhere, and her memory of them keeps her going forward, no matter how hard it could be.
Additional information: Elora loves videogames, and tends to spend her free time playing games. Her favorite genres are RPGs and adventure games. They help distract from the reality of war.
Framewerk name: Logic Diver
]
Weight Class: Light, armor at Medium from bonus armor. Logic Diver is intended to support the other units by quickly reaching battle and beginning to scan for data. However, despite the use of the cloaking field there is still risk involved with the data gathering, so there is some better egg-shaped armor equipped in exchange for firepower.
Framewerk Bonus: Armor. Logic Gate is a Light Frame, but it's egg-shaped plating provides armor ranked at Medium.
Framewerk Type: Specialist. Logic Diver is a support unit dedicated to intelligence gathering and data analysis, and relaying useful information to the rest of the squad.
Primary Weapon System: Logic Diver is equipped with an Automatic Battle Rifle (ABR), that has a high rate of fire and low recoil for a kinetic weapon, making for an effective weapon to provide covering fire with. It is most useful against groups or low-armor enemies, but has poor performance against high-armor targets.
Secondary System: Combat Analyzer. Logic Diver's main mode of operation is collecting battlefield data which is achieved with the built-in quantum computer system. The Combat Analyzer's main use is in scanning enemy data for possible weak points or other noteworthy intelligence for the pilot to analyze and then relay to other pilots during a mission using the specialized antenna Logic Diver is also built with. While Logic Diver can collect data from a distance in a reasonable time, the process is accelerated with closer distance to the enemy, putting pressure on Elora to keep close during combat despite having poor offensive capability, putting her at risk of being found out. However, given the support of other Framewerks, the tactical advantage given by the collected data is sure to aid the entire squad.
Secondary System: Cloak Field. A generator for personal cloaking field that can render the Frame undetectable by all but the most advanced tracking systems. However, the system deactivates upon opening fire. Rather than ambushing enemies immediately, Elora uses the system to successfully collect and process data at closer proximity to the enemy. Of course, she can then launch a sneak attack once she has finished sharing intelligence.
Secondary System: Hyper Relay. The outlet for the processed data, Elora uses the automated data to send useful information to her squad, including topographical map data displayed at first as a two-dimensional radar until it develops into a three-dimensional hologram. She can also highlight predicted weapon trajectories to nearby allies, and even enemy weakpoints and other useful info given enough processed data.
Gender: Female Age: 25 The commanding officer of the Framewerk squad. She is a strict, no-nonsense officer, but is reasonable and level-headed. Beneath her hard exterior, she sometimes shows compassion and empathy to her troops, but masks it as simply being part of protocol.
Gender: Male Age: 70 The cantankerous yet brilliant scientist who is responsible for the new generation of experimental Framewerks. He has been given unofficial reign over the Framewerk Project, and Fortress Ship Solaire by proxy. His capricious, erratic nature can be difficult to gauge as either genuine insanity or a mask to intimidate others. For some reason, he continues to wear an eyepatch despite having access to quality cybernetic replacements.
Gender: Non-applicable (presents as feminine) Age: Physical body built two years ago, mental age unknown A Lilim working as a personal assistant to Lorenzo, and in charge of prodiving him with medical assistance whenever the need arises among other duties. Typical for her artificial kind, she often exhibits no emotion, and resembles a porcelain doll more than a human. However, her eyes sometimes show sympathy for the ailing old man.
Gender: Male Age: 35 The higher link in the Galactic Federation's chain of command, Ritsu reports to Cain both about Lorenzo, the state of the Framewerk Project, and of course about the pilots who have been gathered. While a stern man, he seems genuinely interested in the pilots, and how they will fare on the battlefield.
Pre-Service History Second Lieutenant Ava Lane is the only daughter of Heath Lane, the current CEO of Albion Armaments Group (AAG), one of the largest Framewerk manufacturers.
Due to the dire circumstances humanity has found itself in, money alone typically is not enough to avoid conscription, except for large Framewerk manufacturers such as AAG, due to the large influence they wield on the war effort against the Cruxi. At the time of Lieutenant Lane's enlistment, her application was to be rejected due to pressure from the AAG. However, as she was discovered to possess an exceptionally high aptitude for Framewerk piloting seemingly to have synchronised agility with her Framewerk, one of those given the designation of [Humanity's Potential], it was decided that she was too valuable a recruit to be rejected.
A settlement with the AAG group to be the prioritised manufacturer for Professor Lorenzo's new designs was then arranged in exchange.
Service History Enlisted when she was 18, with 7 years of service record, Lieutenant Lane is a veteran pilot. She was originally part of a unit under the command of Colonel Aaron Chapman (At the time, Captain). In it, Lieutenant Lane acted as the unit's frontliner who utilised quick and decisive close-range attacks to dispatch hostiles. Under Colonel Chapman's command, Lieutenant Lane accrued exemplary combat records and was noted to be a pivotal part of the unit's offensive. Due to her connections to AAG, her Framewerk, the Argent Wings has received quasi-legal modifications courtesy of AAG. Due to her background, although not enough to be able to act as an engineer, she is noted to have familiarity with Framewerk technology at an academic level.
Six months ago, Colonel Chapman discharged Lieutenant Lane under an honourable discharge, citing a psychological issue rendering Lieutenant Lane unfit for duty. Due to Lieutenant Lane's own request and after being given the clearance by military psychologist Dr Lars Steinitz, she was reinstated for duty two months ago. Despite objections from Colonel Chapman, the military leadership considered Lieutenant Lane to be a valuable military asset and overruled the objection. Lieutenant Lane is to be transferred under the command of Lieutenant Ritsu Kaname and return to active duty as soon as possible.
Pilot Type Veteran Pilot
Background Potentials -Humanity's Potential -Synchronised Agility -Flash in the Dark
Perks -Money -Academic
Psychological Profile Psychological Profile
Lieutenant Lane is noted to be a levelheaded, if reserved, individual. She has no record of major conflicts with other personnel, though, notably, she also keeps her distance from the rest of her unit. While this tendency of isolation could prove a potential hindrance to the development of esprit de corps out of combat, combat-wise, she has no issue coordinating with other pilots. However, Lieutenant Lane's commanding officers have noted that she lacks the initiative necessary for leadership and is better utilised as a field operative, which is why she has yet to be promoted beyond the rank of 2nd lieutenant despite her years of service and exemplary combat record.
As commonly found in many veteran Framewerk pilots, Lieutenant Lane possesses some psychological issues, though her attending psychologist, Dr Steinitz, notes that one of her main issues stems from her pre-service history. Lieutenant Lane enlisted after her romantic partner, 2nd Lieutenant Luke Chapman, was declared MIA. Her recruiter at the time believed she joined for revenge, but Dr Steinitz discovered in a counselling session that she possessed the belief that if she killed enough Craxi, her lover would return, a classic case of Magical Thinking. In a cognitive behaviour therapy session, Lieutenant Lane shows good responsiveness by being able to recognise the illogical nature of her belief, but nevertheless still has it subconsciously affect her. In general, this issue is unlikely to cause a serious problem during combat; however, Lieutenant Lane had exhibited desperation that caused her to take more risks with her own life at times.
Previously, Colonel Chapman had Lieutenant Lane dismissed due to exhibiting signs of post-traumatic stress disorder from her years of service; however, she has been cleared to return to active duty after counselling sessions and a period of antidepressant prescription by Dr Steinitz. Regardless, it is recommended for her Commanding Officer to take note of her mental state to prevent relapse and a loss of a valuable combat asset.
Additional Notes Additional Notes
Due to Lieutenant Lane's history with his MIA son, Colonel Chapman continues to be a vocal voice objecting to her return to duty. It is recommended for First Lieutenant Kaname to be prepared for some inquiries from Colonel Chapman.
Unit Designation: Argent Wings Pilot: Ava Lane Specialisation: Offense Weight-Class: Light [Manoeuvre at Super Light | Damage at Heavy] Framewerk Type: Frontliner Manufacturer: Albion Armaments Group
The Primary Weapon System for the Argent Wings is the Vibroblade. With Lieutenant Lane's uncanny ability to pilot her Framewerk, the vibroblade allows for deadly, decisive strikes delivered with overwhelming speed at enemies distracted by other Framewerk in her unit. To add versatility and more offensive options, a sub-weapon of Shining Fingers is also installed into Argent Wings. Finally, to complement its offensive capability, Marker Lights are mounted on its chest, shoulders, and legs. Aside from additional offensive options, they also offer some supportive capabilities to mark unsuspecting opponents for its allies so they can be sniped with greater accuracy from far.
Secondary System Secondary System
The Secondary System of the Argent Wings is the Cloaking Wings. The manoeuvrability afforded by the wings makes the Argent Wings even more agile while piloted by Lieutenant Lane, with the added benefit of extra protection. Furthermore, its stealth function allows the Argent Wings to quickly infiltrate enemies rank and dispatch vital targets. The Decoy Mode, when used with the exceptional agility exhibited under Lieutenant Lane, allows for manoeuvres that confuse and break enemies' ranks by creating chaos, as well as making the Argent Wings even more evasive against hostiles. In order to facilitate cloaking while maintaining superior speed, the thruster used for the Argent Wings is Microburst Monopropellent Thrusters, allowing the Argent Wings to maintain top speed without a significant heat signature. The Automated Targeting System is also installed in the Argent Wings' operating system, maximising offensive output by reducing the need for manual aiming, allowing the Argent Wings to fully take advantage of its superior speed and agility in delivering swift strikes.

A P P E A R A N C E
Rhylaen is of average height for a Tevranian -- that is to say, short by human standards. Like most members of her species, she is pale and spindly, with pointed ears and jewel-tone eyes too large for her face -- in her case, violet. Originally cave and forest dwellers, Tevranians have excellent vision even in the darkest places. Her wings allow her not true flight, but the capability to glide easily from high places. When not in use, they fold down against her back, looking almost like a cape. Her uniform is specially modified to be open across the back, so as not to interfere with her wings.
P E R S O N A L I T Y
Rhylaen is a sweet person, except when it comes to matters of the Cruxi. For them, she has a fierce hatred. She likes making new friends and is extroverted, but her less-than-complete understanding of human customs sometimes gets in the way. She finds human communication to be limiting, since they can't pick up on the telepathic component Tevranians use to share emotions and experiences. It's lonely in a way that is hard for her to articulate, and sometimes she feels isolated. Still, her wanderlust and curiosity do a good job of balancing out those negative feelings. Rhylaen is fiercely defensive when it comes to those who cannot defend themselves, and opposes bullies wherever she finds them. Like many modern Tevranians, she is trained in a form of unarmed combat that works to leverage her smaller body to defend against and inflict harm. Culturally, being able to defend oneself is considered an important aspect of life.

Background Potentials: Alien Supporter Warrior Perks: Academic - xenobiology Enhanced Uniform Tevranians come of age at about 25 Earth years, so Rhylaen is a young adult, only recently come into her own by her people's standards. Her childhood was normal for one of her kind, but she was dead set on attending an offworld school for her later studies. She originally wanted to be a xenobiologist and sign on to an exploratory space mission for the Galactic Federation, and her best chance of that was to go to one of the hub worlds, where the best schools were located. Tevran is a fairly backwater planet, after all. Four years ago she took the entrance exam to a prestigious school and was accepted.
Despite the difficulties posed by moving offworld and interacting almost solely with people not of her own species, Rhylaen thrived in her new home. She kept tabs on the war, given that her system was near the outer rim, but it always seemed so far away -- until two years ago, the worst happened. The Cruxi invaded Tevran, swiftly overpowering the planet's defenses and capturing its populace. Faced with the loss of her entire world, Rhylaen switched career tracks to a military role, wanting revenge. She proved a quick study, and a talented Framewrek pilot. Due to her skill and dedication, she was selected to join the experimental unit at Fortress Ship Solaire.

Rhylaen's whole family, and most of her entire species, have been captured by the Cruxi.

Sparks is not a subtle individual. With his blond hair spikey and dyed sky-blue, he tends to stand out in a crowd. He has light brown eyes, a squarish jaw, and an easy smile. He is always clean-shaven, and his stubble is light, making it less visible. His taste in clothing runs to graphic tees and jeans, when he's not in his pilot's uniform. He's on the taller side, just shy of six feet, and in good shape due to his dedication to exercising.
P E R S O N A L I T Y
Sparks is outgoing and friendly. He has an easy laugh and an easier smile. He does love a good prank, though he's too polite too play any himself. He's a nerd and a geek, and wears these titles proudly. He has an even temper, and prefers to let things go rather than argue over them. One of his pet peeves is people that think they know what they're doing when they clearly do not, especially when it comes to electronics and technology.

Background Potentials: Metal Mind Supporter Perks: Creative Academic - computer programming Enhanced Uniform The second child of a suburban couple, Sparks lived a rather ordinary life growing up. His parents had good jobs, and while the war was always on his radar, it wasn't an immediate concern. In school, Sparks excelled at math and did decently well at most other subjects. He found his passion for computers and robotics early, and his parents encouraged this interest. His way with machinery and technology naturally lead to a career in Framewerks, where his skill at programming and repair gained him the attention of a military recruiter, especially in the wake of him programming an AI, Dancer. With his sister already fighting the Cruxi, and pressure put on him by his parents and peers, Sparks is a reluctant soldier, but still determined to do his best -- and hopefully survive whatever the war throws at him.

Family History Born into a family of nobles as its youngest son, SSgt. Arrish Duval had always known Money. Bearing the prestigious title of Marquess, the family's responsibility was in protecting and securing the frontier borders. So when communications were lost with the first planet, it had sent a dark shudder throughout the family that was still felt to this day. The family was divided into two trains of thought, some thought it was an embarrassment a mark against the family's reputation and something to be quashed at once. Others were more opportunistic, seizing the moment to grasp at power that would be theres, by presenting themselves as capable saviors. Yet with planet after planet among the outer rim going dark and unreachable, outsiders of the family started growing mistrustful of the Duval family. What was attacking our planets? They would say. Why haven't communications been reached? They would ask. For answers, the Noble family had none. Instead they hid their failures, using their Network of peers and media networks to cover up information that would have otherwise been invaluable to the war effort if only it didn't make the Marquess look so incapable and weak.
That was until one brave woman dedicated herself to find out what was happening.. a fateful action that would forever loom a dark shadow over the Duval family. First it was outrage, how could the Marquess cover up such a threat to humanity? and why didn't they do anything about it? Then it was desperation, an enemy with power and technology that could threaten to topple humanities empire. Something needed to be done, and the Marquess needed to pay for their failure. Despite their wrongdoings, the Duval family did feel the responsibility of their choices, and took many actions to pay, improve and work towards defeating this new threat. An old tradition that was long abandoned had been dredged up and put back into motion. The seventh and youngest son would be sent to war; A position in the family that little was expected. The youngest son would never hold the title of Marquess as long as he had several elders ahead of him, and would until now live a life of a playboy, living a life of luxury and relaxation.
Service History Arrish Duval was conscripted into service by his family at the age of 19 and with 3 years of service under his belt. Although he still has a lax personality that cares more about pretty girls, hard drinks and fast cards than he does about the war effort, he's nonetheless been found to be a Skilled Pilot. His capability on the field has shown him to have a brave if not thick-headed approach to conflict, leaping from fight to fight to face the toughest of opponents. This Indomitable WIll is a double edged sword, as while it keeps the pilot from fleeing under pressure it could just as well put him at serious risk when faced with an opponent that is above his caliber.
During testing it was found that he's skilled with ranged armaments and that his Eagle Eye would have made him a valuable sniper on the field of conflict. Unfortunately, partially due to his harassment of the female officer that was training him and his own propensity for starting fights where their are none to be had, he's been placed in the front ranks.
Pilot Type Skilled Pilot
Background Potentials -Indomitable Will -Eagle Eye
Perks -Money -Networking -Proficient: Cooking
Psychological Profile Psychological Profile
To put it simply, when he's off the field of battle Arrish Duval has the mindset of a playboy. He seems more focused on drinking, womanizing and playing fast than worrying about the threat the Cruxi. When asked what he thinks about the Cruxi all he had to say on the matter was "fuck em" and went back to lounging on the couch. While his manner is too lax to be considered for further leadership his charismatic personality has pushed him up to the rank of sergeant and he continues to ambitiously chase after more. It's unknown if further responsibilities would tone down his playboy sensibilities and would make him a fine leader, or if putting him in such a position would weaken the internal structure of our facilities. Given his background as a noble and the insistence of multiple officers that he not be given a higher rank, he has been passed over for a higher command position.
This leads us into his capabilities as a framewerk pilot, of which he's already shown great skill. It's been suggested that perhaps he has a split personality disorder, but further testing has shown this to be unlikely. What is likely, is that Duval acts aloof and uncaring as a sort of guise among his fellow pilots, though its unknown as to why. When under pressure by an authoritative figure he will defend the morals and sensibilities of his companions, and would quickly throw himself in harms way if it meant shielding them from political manuevers. Some speculation suggests that this white knight sort of personality may stem from the death of one of his siblings, a sibling of a couple years that is almost the twin of mister duval. The sibling was said to have gone missing under mysterious circumstances, and when reached out all the Marquess family had to say was that he passed away from an unexpected illness.
Additional Notes Additional Notes
It has been said that he's a pretty Proficient cook. It's uncertain how useful this would be on the field, if at all and has only been added to his dossier under his insistence.

The Primary Weapon System for the Horst Mark VII is an Heirloom Multiform Rod. A popular choice among the nobles the multiform rod has become something more than just a weapon, but a symbol of status. A capable weapon in any hands, the strength lies in the versatility in the weapons make and its that same versatility that allowed many nobles to survive conflict and return home. It can be a weapon with great reach with slashing strikes, or slow powerful and piercing thrusts. It can also transform into a pair of smaller blades meant for dual or close quarters combat. The Horst is also outfitted with a Heavy Assault gun meant for medium to long range conflicts. The Shining Finger armament was also installed, as a Noble should never be left disarmed.

Minerva Subject 13, Harbinger 21 years old (03/14/XXXX) Skilled Pilot Theme Song
Overview:
Minerva is the thirteenth and final creation of Project Olympus, an ambitious project that sought to create humanity's greatest warriors through a combination of cloning and gene-splicing techniques. Due to the unique goal of her creation even by the project's standards and the fact that she is made far later than her 'siblings', she spent most of her nurturing period mostly isolated and under the watch of scientists until one of the clones found out about her existence introduced (dragged) her to the family who greeted her with open arms.
The happiness she felt however won't last long as a fleet of Cruxi warships suddenly invades the usually hidden and obscure space habitat where Project Olympus is being held leading to its destruction and massive casualties despite everyone's best efforts. In the aftermath, the surviving members of Project Olympus, both scientists and clones alike, went their separate ways with Minerva working under Earth's military as the black ops operative. During these days, Harbinger served without complaint either as the one who clean-ups the incompetence of her superiors or as a weapon against Cruxi. Due to some endorsements, it is decided that Minerva is to be transferred to the experimental Framewerk task force as one of its pilots.
Who did you lose?
The closest thing, would be the woman who I am supposed to surpass. How can you chase a ghost?
I miss Hera’s nagging voice dragging me to enjoy life.
I miss Ares barging into my room for some stupid challenge.
I miss Apollo and his terrible songs.
I miss my siblings even if they are idiots.
I miss the researchers even if sometimes I felt they were trying too much.
I miss those days.
But if I pretend that they never happened then it would mean that I lost no one.
I miss nothing.
I don't deserve it.
Psychological Testimony
Minerva presents herself as an anti-social woman who prefers working alone. She is cold, brutally honest and is only focused on the tasks assigned to her. She takes immense pride and confidence in her ability as a pilot that she relentlessly hones at every moment she gets, sometimes without regard to her own health and limits. When fighting the Cruxi she is shown to do so with great enthusiasm performing movements that can be considered borderline suicidal if not for their effectiveness. Interviews showed that she had developed instinctual hatred to the Cruxi, delighting in the misery she could inflict upon them.
Most concerningly however is the fact that she holds herself to a mercilessly high standard, gritting her teeth for failure even in reasonable circumstances. It is like she is chasing the legend of Athena Rivera that she put in her head and always finding herself lacking. It had gotten worse since she went to join the military.
While I’m meant to be subjective, I do believe that my personal evaluation should be heard.
She’s a child who never truly left that day if the attack scarred us then it built her for worse. She's a child who lost everything because she didn't want to remember that day again. We tried to help her, we swear we tried. But even the one time me and the surviving siblings found her, she would just reject our hand and flee to whatever mission the military is willing to toss her into. She is hurting herself acting like that.
And believes she deserves every single pain she takes, that thing she could do to make everything right is to break herself to her limits then bring as many Cruxi with her as possible.
Please help her. Save our little sister from herself and the ghost she made her bed with.
-Dr. Aphrodite also known as Olympus Subject 6
Background Potential
Clone -Minerva is the last clone of Project Olympus and the culmination of their combined genius. Her base template is taken from Athena Rivera, one of the earliest heroes of the Cruxi who determined the nature of the threat and handed them their initial string of losses. Due to the insertion of foreign genetic material to enhance her capabilities, along with stress her originally brown hair begins showing signs of rapid greying, a physical characteristic Athena Rivera never developed.
Genetically Engineered -While most of her genes came from the late hero, the scientists at Olympus made an intensive genetic modification to Minerva's body armed with the knowledge they garnered from the previous twelve test subjects. Despite this, the effects of her artificial birth and modifications are apparent in her reduced ability to empathize.
Perks
Athletic -Due to a combination of genetic modifications along with specialised training and tests, Minerva’s body is capable of consistently performing physical feats that would match a trained athlete’s personal records. In addition to this, her body recovers much more quickly and she gets tired less faster than her peers.
Memento -Minerva always carries a red string bracelet on her wrist, the only item from Olympus she carried with her. It is the first gift given to her by Hera and a reminder of why she is still breathing. Taking this bracelet from her is one of her known triggers for her to be outright angry on the spot.
Enhanced Uniform -Minerva’s Framewerk uniform incorporates some elements of Project Olympus pilot clothing the most notable of which are the nano-tech implants incorporated in her bodysuit, this allows for easier integration with her Framework. It is also capable of turning into simple tools and interacting with other electrical systems.
ARGO Medium Frontliner Framewerk
Overview -Argo is a custom made medium weight Framewerk piloted by Minerva known for its surprising movement despite its category. Described as an armored fighter plane with legs, it is known to dance around the battlefield raining bullet fire with its minigun before getting up close and personal to its enemies in order to rip it apart with its claws or torso. Eyewitnesses report the Argo as something akin to a hound, relentlessly harassing and chasing its prey to the ends of the earth.
Weaponry Systems -From a distance, the Argo engages with a hail of gunfire from its minigun. Moving at high velocity to mow down waves of Cruxi armies. When it reaches close quarters combat, it is capable of taking advantage of its superior agility to tear apart its enemies with its claw-like appendages. During prolonged engagements, the Argo can also employ solidified weapons with its Shining Light feature, usually in form of a Framewerk sized gauntlet, shields or javelins
-Gatling Gun -Ripper Fist -Shining Fingers
Secondary -The true beauty of the Argo however lies in its precise placement of its boosters. Aside from its main thruster, the entire Framewerk is littered with miniature boosters placed around its body allowing it to perform turns and maneuvers. Combined with a matured MMORPG system and a specialized network of point defense systems, the Framewerk is more than capable of evading or mitigating what most Cruxi machinery could bear.

Framewerk and ouside of it.
Perks:
-Athletic (Bonus speed and damage). In and out of Framewerk. -Enhanced Uniform (Extra armoring to protect pilot)
Personality: To say Griff is a action type of guy is pretty accurate, as he isn't the type to lose himself in books or academic matters, prefering to fix things if they come his way by either shooting at them or punching them, and if that won't do, then yelling will have to do. Quick to lose his temper and get physical or up close into someones face, but also as fast as storming off and slamming a door or punching a screen or panel... and also in calming down. He often vents out his frustrations in a simulator, a training dummy or by cardio training. He also gets irritated when hungry or when witnessing people being romantic with one-another. He hates playing chess, reading books and shopping.
He much more prefers to do physical training, shooting at the gun range or checking out new framewerk models and weaponry. He has no idea how to repair or program things however, and when facing a computer and it doesn't do as he desires he will return to the basics, punching it until it works. When speaking he is often sounding as he is scoffing or being annoyed, even when he is not angry. At a select few occasions he may act calm and thoughtful, even sometimes speaking sincerely, but those moments are rare and it usually takes very little to bring him back to getting veins on his forehead and yelling at someone. Griff is also very immature for his age and not very academic, save for possibly history and things revolving around battles.
Background: Griff was born on the space fortress city of Ezquess, thus he has no actual home planet, having spent most of his youth and early adulthood on the immense space fortress city. He has visited a few planets on brief moments on foot, most he has seen has been jungles and deserts. He has never seen an ocean and would like to see it once. He graduated as one of five extraordinary cadets on the military academy he attended, being the second best however is still haunting him, and the one who managed to outdo him in every single thing makes him feel motivated to train and put even more effort into everything he does. His choice in Framewerk is also shown by just how very equipped it is with weaponry and tools, most of which are of an offensive nature.
He has joined the fight against the Cruxi because he views himself as a warrior, for him it's his way of life now, to fight and keep going and challenge himself so that one day he could perhaps eclipse -that guy- who managed to best him. The worst of all is that it was his best friend at the academy. His polar opposite in every way. But it also irks Griff that particular individual is currently MIA or at a classified mission of some kind. The other three cadets which performed extraordinary all were killed in action in the span of two years following graduation. Griff sometimes think back at the others which didn't make it and partly blames himself for their deaths as he couldn't save them, because he wasn't strong enough at the time, his mech wasn't good enough, his weapons not good enough…
He has vowed to not let another comerade die on his watch, no matter if he has to disobey orders again for the third time. Disobeying and questioning orders have at times become a common occurance for Griff, much to his supreriors displeasure. Griff has even previously punched an officer and spent time locked up as a result, but raw talent as Griff's are hard to come by so there was always someone to bail him out and put his punching abilities to use in a mech against whatever the enemies were. Griff doesn't bear a particular hatred for the Cruxi alone, he seems to dislike non-humans in general, not because he doesn't respect their strengths, skills, weaponry and so forth as enemies, but because he cannot see himself fighting alongside one as an ally, not knowing their customs, language and possibly thinking they are revolting.
Missing People: Lost contact with his rival and former best friend whose currently MIA.

Name: Mema-Ka Ezqess Degadraz Gender: Male
Appearance:
(Mema-Ka has forest-green haircolour his brother has teal-green colour.) Pilot Type: Gifted Pilot Age: 18 Background Potentials:
- Twin Soul - Silver tongued Devil - Supporter
Perks:
- Athletic - Proficient: Playing the piano
Personality: Mema-Ka is calm, perceptive and calculating. He speaks very calmly, like he were trying to hypnotise you with his very words. He might come across as distant or cold at times, or that he is a dreamer. But he often brings up emotional matters, even if he visually doesn't seem as affected by it. He enjoys speaking about philosophy and psychology and humanity as a whole. He prefers speaking with women before men and enjoys playing the piano or reading books. He very seldom lashes out in anger, and when he does it is done with still a sense of control. He carries himself with a straight back, his movements elegant as if he were a dancer in a waltz. His movement is very smooth and his words seem to follow one another like he's reciting a poem or a great manuscript. Mema-Ka often dresses in a double-buttoned military longcoat when not inside of his framewerk, the young man has eyes that look slightly sleepy and he has a soft smile often on his lips. Unlike his younger twin brother, Mema-Ka is very orderly and likes keeping his uniform in standard and top shape, including his boots and belt. He often keeps track on his younger brother who is the more impulsive of the two, where Zel-Ghin is emotion and making things up on the spot, Mema-Ka is a strong believer in control and intution, when it all comes down to it, if his gut feeling is telling him something he goes with it. He very seldom gets into physical confrontations and try to avoid them if possible, even trying to mediate between others when there are arguments. His brother sometimes teasing others to get something started hardly helps, but Mema-Ka is the one calling the shots of the siblings.
If his brother has done anything to warrant a reprimand he will give it, but he will also be the guy to speak up when someone is unjustly dealt an unfair hand. He seems to have a strong favorism towards underdogs and those who may be considered as meek. He acts as someone far older and wiser for his age. He very seldom joke or tease others, but it can happen if he finds a situation too amusing to not comment on. He likes having the last word in discussions, unlike his younger brother who is unbothered about someone else having the last word in an argument. Mema-Ka likes playing tragic sounding melodies on a piano whenever able, he also seems fond of looking out into space from a window. For physical training he prefers to dance, wrestling (in a very unorthodox manner) and fencing.
Background: Most of Mema-Ka and Zel-Ghin's backgrounds are covered in mystery, having been selected to be unwilling participants in an enhancement program upon conception. Neither one of them knows what genetic code flows through their veins. Colony Melta-Zole had plans to commit rebellion against the Galactic Federation, but such attempts were crushed in it's infancy. Thankfully for the two twins they were spared when one of the scientists of the project chose to destroy the facility in which they spent the majority of their youth, she then fled with the twins claiming they were her own to avoid any outside suspicions. What the twins know about their past is that they were created to be weapons, at least one of them were, the other were expendable. Ambitious people with power and wealth had gotten information regarding a particular project which in turn had inspired others to try tread in the very same steps. No matter the costs.
What is known is that both of the twins were taken to the military academy after their adoptive mother had died from an illness, where they began to develop more of their own, while still remaining closely connected their personalities drifted in two different directions.
Missing People: A scientist he simply know as "Mother". Additional information: Plays the piano.
Name: Zel-Ghin Mizqess Degantes Gender: Male Appearance:
(Zel-Ghin has teal-green hair and his brother Mema-Ka has forest-green haircolour) Pilot Type: Gifted Pilot Age: 18 Background Potentials:
- Twin Soul - Warrior - Genetically engineered
Perks:
- Athletic - Enhanced uniform: Videogame installed and music player.
Personality: When out of his machine, Zel-Ghin is usually found playing a handheld video game or listening to some music via headphones. He often walks with his hands in his pockets, and likes to tear off the arms of almost every attire that he wears save for his pilot attire. He likes wearing cyberpunkish outfits and often wields padded fingerless gloves, some might think him a biker with how he seems to have a strong liking for leather jackets and boots. In a few formal situations he have been also known to wear a suit, but he quickly tries to go back to outfits he feel more at home in. His voice has a teasing tone to it and he laughs often, sometimes for things others might not even find funny. He also have no idea what personal space is, his own or that of others. Though he does seemingly not like to be touched like patted on the shoulder and would be very quick to slap peoples hands away, would he have not already backed away from them. His gaze is very often darting both left and right, being super aware of his surroundings, almost as if expecting someone to sneak up on him. He seems to have the easiest time to get along with characters that aren't confrontational and prefers speaking with women much like his brother, but unlike his twin he doesn't have his brother's patience or finesse when it comes to dealing with hotheaded or confrontational people. Zel-Ghin is very seldom the one to throw the first punch, but he can be the kind of guy to goad someone into throwing it. He is a person who lives in the here and now, whereof his slightly older twin seems to be more concerned with the future and the past.
Despite the differences with his brother, they are very synched with their movement and attacks, often Zel-Ghin leaves the planning to his brother, but he is often the first one to react to a situation. He isn't as patient as his brother aswell, but makes up for it by being more decisive, making up his mind very quickly about various things. He gives off the energy of a delinquent or a bad boy, but despite appearances and behaviour he is cunning, where his brother is the strategist, Zel-Ghin is the tactician. He does not want to give orders in battle and prefers leaving that to others, he's more interested in knowing what enemies that may be encountered. Perhaps a side effect from the times he has spent playing videogames. He does very often yell out what can be refered to as fighting game moves when defeating enemies. He is very often smirking and found leaning against a wall or object. He also have what could only be described as a kissing fetish. For physical training he prefers acrobatic training, running and kicking training dummies, especially roundhouse kicking them. He fights abit like a street fighter, but doesn't abide by a martial arts or know any moves of such.
Background:
Most of Mema-Ka and Zel-Ghin's backgrounds are covered in mystery, having been selected to be unwilling participants in an enhancement program upon conception. Appearance Serah's on the shorter side, about 1m45 and not-likely-counting. Her blue eyes are matched by her hair being an impressive shade of cerulean, poofy and a little messy at all times as if she's suffering from a permanent case of bedhead. At least there's a cute pink ribbon adorning it. She finds pilot suits rather stuffy, which is why she'll casually most often be found wearing a skirt with tights rather than a pair of pants if she can help it. She also has an odd, almost ill-fitting small tattoo on her cheek. Its cutesy like her, but strange she'd have one at all- especially in a place where you can't possibly miss it.
Gender Female
Pilot Type Gifted Pilot
Age 18
Background Potentials Faint memories: Serah is an odd one. She feels like she's done this before, like she's been here before, like she's fated to do this. While unable to properly explain it, piloting is second nature to her, and her synergy with Atty is beyond compare. She pilots it like she's been riding it for years, despite being one of the newest pilots around. And only Atty, as her inexperience shows when tested with any other Framewerk. She also seems to have faint memories of events to come, or events that have happened, but they're not quite the same as the events as they're happening now. (Clairvoyance, sort of)
True synchronicity: Atty and Serah are linked together by a thread of fate and are perfectly in sync with eachother. Serah's reflexes are enhanced while piloting Atty and can move it as if she's moving her own body, with the Framewerk reacting more on her instinct than on her input. However, Serah's emotional state seems to affect Atty too. When distressed or panicked, Atty's systems will override Serah's inputs and go into an autonomous, berserk mode, shielding her from harm. Atty cannot differentiate ally from enemy in this state, blindly attacking anything in its vicinity to clear the threats to its pilot. Serah is similarly protective of Atty, as anything happening to it is likely to impact her emotional state heavily. (Synchronized Agility)
Protective: Serah cares for her friends, and her heart aches when she has faint memories of tragedy and death. She's likely to draw fire from the enemy and make sure she's targeted in an effort to protect her allies, not wanting to see anyone die when she could've taken the blow for them. (Guardian)
Perks Mechanic: You wouldn't be able to tell, but she's quite the wrench monkey. Growing up at her orphanage there often wasn't much to do, so she spent her time (dis)assembling various little machines. She'll be found personally tending to the maintenance of her framewerk sometimes, just for fun.
Signature move:Core charge. Serah can overcharge her plasma blade with Atty's core's energy, creating a huge blast of energy but overheating both the blade and the system, making her vulnerable directly after using it.
Personality Very open and eager to meet new people, always puts on a bright face. Just a little bundle of joy on the outside. Doesn't seem to break easily out in the open, but is a fragile little flower on her own. She seems rather nervous when left alone, actively seeking out people's company if she's not preoccupied.
Background Serah's an orphan, being the sole survivor among her family from a Cruxi attack when she was moving to a new system. Her father and mother had both been researchers on the Framewerk project, though neither of them had ever told Serah the truth on what the research was about. Neither did, after all, want to expose their little girl to some of the horrors and unethical practices going on at their job. Maybe its because of their position the cruiser was attacked, as a deliberate sting ops by the Cruxi, or maybe it was a shot of dumb luck on their part in some other related incident. Not like Serah would know the truth; she just remembers blaring sirens from that day. People screaming and flames in the ship. Somehow she'd managed to be one of the lucky few on the escape pod, the children onboard being among the first to be saved. She doesn't really like remembering it.
Her parents didn't make it, obviously. How else does one turn orphan? But it did leave her stranded on a new, unfamiliar planet. No relatives, no real connections. Further, space travel was restricted after the attack, so she couldn't get back to anyone. Her age hadn't even reached the double digits at that point, so she wound up in a local orphanage. But, her parents having relocated for work related reasons, and the government being rather shady, it wasn't the most pleasant place to be. She'd often get "health exams", something a child doesn't really question, and plenty of vaccines to local diseases. In theory, anyway. Sometimes they were, but often times they were using the orphans to test various genetic research. The girl was rather often sick because of it, too. Easier to justify the repeated exams with that way. And it felt like she never really grew up properly, either- her body's rather stunted and youthful, as if she was two or three years behind. She was told that most of the kids who left the orphanage suddenly found new homes, but Serah never did. Its unsure if she even really believed that they had, either.
Still, she was cheerful. Its her way of coping with how her somewhat luxurious life was upended and turned into something else. She was outgoing, a bright mind and very friendly to everyone. Her caretakers, teachers and all the staff she saw were super nice too. But since she was growing up, and had nowhere really to turn to, the government screened her for compatibility with their new war machines. As fate would have it, she'd soon find herself trained as a pilot for one of the framewerks her parents helped build. Directly built, even. Serah feels a rather spiritual connection to hers. Its like they'd met before, like she could hear its voice, its mechanical heartbeat. And one more voice from deep inside its core, a voice like that of a long lost friend. It sounded sad and melancholic.
...She never did remember when she got that tattoo on her cheek, either.
Missing People For one, her parents. Or any single one of her relatives, given she hasn't heard hide nor hair of them after being orphaned. More than either of those though, is that she feels like she lost a dear friend to her. But its someone she's never met, yet who she can picture in her mind's eye; a girl her age, stark white hair with cold, distant eyes. Somewhere deep down she wonders if she can find this girl someday.
Framewerk Code Name AA-XOTRY. Serah calls it Atty instead.
Appearance
Primary Weapon System Atty has a metal blade with a plasma coating directly bound to its core. A highly experimental weapon, it slices through virtually anything it could touch, but comes at a cost of drawing directly from its power source. A sturdy, long-lasting power source mind you- but still directly connected all the same. Its not suited for long drawn-out engagements, as the longer its plasma is active, the more power is drained from the system. It still has its perks though; plasma can be launched from the blade either by slashing it or as bullets by pointing the tip, though the latter is not very effective due to the design of the framewerk. Its meant to be a close-range scout unit, only getting into skirmishes when its up close and has the upper hand, with some respectable but not spectacular medium-range combat capabilities.
Secondary Systems 1: Atty's wings are only wings as decoration, their true purpose is a morphing detachable close-range barrier. The two units are separately controllable and can combine or individually morph to any shape, within a certain size. The wing-like design is their default configuration but they can be used like a spherical or circular barrier according to the pilot's needs in the moment. While primarily designed to function as defensive modules for Atty itself, them being remote controlled means they can also be sent to protect allies. While durable, these barriers are not invincible- continued usage or an extreme amount of damage and they'll break just like any other shield.
2: Given its role as a highly mobile melee Framewerk, Atty is fitted with an MMORPG module to allow its pilot to freely move its limbs in tandem with their own movement.
3: Atty is fitted with a prototype Phase Shift module, fitted more for stealth than combat. Its able to conceal its presence completely by shifting out of this plane for a few seconds like more recent modules, but its primary mode is to only mostly phase out. Its plasma core makes Atty a giant moving heat signal, less than ideal for a scout unit, so it can activate phase shift to hide most of its glaring components while still retaining momentum and blending into the environment. This does mean its neither invincible or invisible though, and its already fragile armor might as well not be there when taking a direct hit in this state. It being an earlier model also makes it so this module cannot deflect matter in a defensive manner, as its only fitted to move the components of the Framewerk itself.
Weight Class Very Light
Framewerk Type A scout-type frontliner. Its nimble, its agile, its quick and it jumps the candlestick. It can't sustain too much direct damage without crumpling up like a big sheet of aluminum, but its barriers are there to prevent it from taking sustained shots in the first place.
(Movement Super Light +1 from Synchronized Agility and 1 free bonus point, armor at Very Light)
Background Potentials: [Metal Mind, Flash in the Dark] The first thing that many people learn about Aurora is that she has a way with technology. A mind and eye for how it all works bordering on the unnatural. There is little she can't figure out when it comes to anything put in front of her given some time, and less she can't optimize given a bit more. Often times she knows the specs of other Framewerks better then their pilots do.
And if that was it, there would be no chance she would be wasted as a simple Pilot.
It's the other thing that people often learn about Aurora that keeps that from being true. It's that she is uncomfortably talented at unleashing hell onto the Cruxi. No matter the Frame she is given, she always seems to find a way to bring out the more destructive capabilities of it. Pushing systems into the red and leaving devastation in her wake. Her soft smile never slipping, but a dark satisfaction impossible to miss gleaming in her eyes.
Perks: [Creative, Money, Networking] Outside of Framewerks Aurora's innovative understanding of the world shows itself again. When she is barred from the engineering bays she can be found, cooking, drawing, playing music. It is clear that she has a talent for the arts, and a willingness to share it with others.
She also seems to have an endless amount of spending credits. Which when she's not spending it on something for her Framewerk is happy to spread it around to help ease her fellow pilot's lives in small ways where she can.
How she gets all this money isn't known, but is suspicious, seeing as a few people who have gone digging have been stopped by those higher on the chain of command.
People that Aurora seems to know, or at least know how to get in contact with. Which might explain how she gets away with so blatantly modifying her Framewerk outside of regulations. Or how she will sometimes get her hands on R&D prototypes long before they should hit the field.
Personality: Aurora is very soft and kind, always friendly and open. Willing to talk to anyone about anything. Though she does also come off as a bit airy. Forgetting people's names, and sometimes repeating full conversations with people. Having forgotten ever having it in the first place.
All of this hides a startling obsession with Framewerk, and the war against the Cruxi. Not that she ever broaches those topics herself.
Similarly she doesn't come across as nearly half the grease monkey she actually is unless she is actively working on a Frame. But she is capable of talking about every advancement in Framewerk technology from the past century in detail. Nor would one assume that she's the one behind the lumbering mayhem that is Sleeping Thunder. It's storied history of destruction not hard to learn about if one goes looking.
Background: Aurora is a bit of an odd case to those a part of the Pilot program. The reason being is that she just kinda showed up one day. All of her paperwork was correct, and the systems all had her information in it. There just hadn't been any heads up she was going to arrive.
And for the first month, there was some confusion about her designation as well. Seeing as she spent more time maintaining other Framewerks then she did in anything pilot related. She was friendly enough, very helpful, and clearly skilled with a wrench. So many thought there had to have been a mixup of some sort. At least until Sleeping Thunder had gotten delivered and she went out on her first mission.
The burning crater she left removed any doubts about her status.
Her acceptance into the Framewerk Project at Fortress Ship Solaire was similarly as sudden and quiet. But none who have seen what Aurora is capable of with Sleeping Thunder are much surprised she got selected for it.
Missing People: Aurora comes from a Planet known as Van Throne Prime. The problem is that there is no public record of Van Thorne Prime. When pressed Aurora gave the coordinates of this planet. It is supposedly located in what is now occupied Cruxi territory. And would have been one of the first planets lost if she's telling the truth. Aurora has since refused to elaborate further on the subject.
Additional information: - Not terribly good at remembering pilots names, often more likely to remember them by which Framewerk they pilot. - She can often be found talking to various Framewerks. - She brought Sleeping Thunder with her into the program. Having rebuilt it herself.
Framewerk Name: Sleeping Thunder. [VTP-RMU-0004]
Weight Class: Super Heavy. [Movement; Super heavy | Armor rating; Very Heavy] - Sleeping Thunder is pushing against the bounds of viable Weight and Height tolerances for Framewerks, and even within it's weigh class it's speed is notably sluggish. And while it's armor is still comparable to Very Heavy Frames that that have been manufactured due to it's nonstandard construction. It's the sheer devastation that Sleeping Thunder is capable of that always catches attention. As it carries the biggest and meanest load-outs possible, and then somehow fits even more. Ensuring that it is never outgunned.
Framewerk Type: Backliner [Weapon damage] - Sleeping Thunder is a walking weapons platform. Clearly built and optimized for one purpose, raining down hellfire from horizon to horizon.
Primary Weapon Systems: It is clear from even cursory inspections that Sleeping Thunder has been modified to be beyond the safety limits. Because it has enough of an arsenal to arm three separate Frames by itself.
For long ranges Sleeping Thunder has the 'Spindles Point' Moonbreaker Railcannon, and the twin Earth Shaker Artillery Mortars. Giving it a frighting mix of wide range explosive ordnance along side pinpoint accurate anti-bulwark firepower.
For moderate ranges Sleeping Thunder has Dragon Wing class Missile pods and the Malevolent's Breath Particle Cannon. Giving it a mix of missiles for every occasion and the sheer stopping power of a ship grade particle cannon.
For closer ranges Sleeping Thunder has a battery of Trinity's Gift Gatling Cannons paired with another battery of Diablo class Arklight Thunders. Both perfectly capable of filling the local air space with more projectiles then air if need be. To say nothing of the Arklight's Tesla field capabilities in case something actually makes it to knife fighting rage.
All in all Sleeping Thunder's history of devastation is well earned. Even before getting into the fact that all of the aforementioned weapons have been further modified to increase destructive potential.
Secondary Systems: - Sleeping Thunder has a nonstandard construction for a Frame. Opting for a six legged walker, rather then a more humanoid profile. One reason for this was clearly so that there was more space for armament's but also to make sure that there is no such things as an unstable firing position for Sleeping Thunder. Internally it has a bevy of additional sensors and processing power dedicated to a cutting edge targeting system. Letting Sleeping Thunder always have a bead on what ever it wants to fire on. And making sure that it's big guns never tire.
Background Potentials: -Metal Mind -Silver Tongued Devil -Indomitable Will
Perks: He's a prince still, so he's got both Money and Networking.
Personality: A deeply jaded, cynical selfish youth who believes on his birthright as royal blood. Astolfo is not pleasant, he pulls no punches, and has a callous disregard for most things that make someone human. He rarely considers someone worth of talking to, and he lacks hesitation in staining his hands with blood. To him, everyone is a fool in a grand theater, and he heavily leans in hedonistic fancies to get the edge and anger out of his mind. He is also not above of wearing a masquerade and used sweet words to manipulate others to do his bidding. He does have a fascination for tinkering, and upkeeping machines. Unlike filthy humans, machines are way more reliable than them. Yet, if one were to take things to the extreme, Astolfo is a person who doesn't give an inch of ground when cornered, and will fight back instead of fleeing.
Background: Born as the fourth prince in the court of the Yatalia Empire where intrigue, poison and plots were the daily bread one had to commune. His parents did not care for him beyond seeing him as a future asset for the throne, and his siblings and him engaged in nasty power-plays, fully knowing only one person could be the winner. Astolfo thus grew warped, from being subject to assasination attempts, to being the one calling for his siblings' heads. He has also killed and tortured servants, in fears of them being spies of his siblings.
Nevertheless, things took a tragic turn when the Empress and Emperor of Yatalia went suddenly missing, allegedly to a Cruxi attack. This triggered a succession crisis. Like his siblings, he played his cards. But fate was not with him, and he was found losing supports and being hunted down by his brother, the Second Prince. Cornered inside a Framewerk experimental factory, he commandeered the experimental unit with barely any knowledge, determined to make a last stand.
This was when things became bloody. Against all odds, Astolfo managed to put up an intense fight with the unit, felling opponent after opponent in a berserk, like fury, cursing fate and his siblings and ignoring wound after wound he sustained. After hundreds of casualties and one orbital laser strike after, Astolfo was subdued and heavily wounded, pending to be executed by his brother as a cleanup before his ascension to the throne. However, the powers that be and the High Command in charge of the War agains the Cruxi thought that his talent would be too precious to simply be lost in a political scuffle, and thus he was drafted into service in exchange of a full pardon and renewed access to the resources of the Yatalia Empire.
Missing People: The Emperor and Empress of Yatalia. He still thinks his brother did it.
Additional information: Scumbag prince on the wrong side of a succession crisis. Yatalia is a multi-planet empire.
Framewerk Sheet
Framewerk Sheet: CK-R8 Claines Kalinin Revision 8. Also known as the "Cockroach" for the connoiseurs.
Appearance: A heavy workhorse unit designed for construction and exploration in harsh frontier worlds, it has been successfully adapted as a combat Framewerk unit with great success, owing to its superb sturdy engineering, ease of repair and highly customization options. If only it didn't look like something out of a junkyard painted in a "vomit green" colour (actually a side effect of the corrosion-proof affordable alloy it has been made) it would have seen more success among the battlefields.
Yet for people who don't care much about looks, the CK-R8 offers a good balance between armor and mobility, and has one of the highest rates of successful pilot extraction in the event of a cockpit breach. It might look clunky and ugly, but this Framewerk is a sturdy warrior.
Weight Class: Medium (Speed) (Moves at Light)
Framewerk Type: Backliner. Let the muscleheads do the heavy weight.
Name:Lilim Series Hestia, model Steel Raven 456, aka Stella
Gender: Gynoid
Appearance:
Height:6'3"
Pilot Type:Experienced Pilot
Age:65 years.
Background Potentials:
Semiconductor Brain (Machine Mind): As a gynoid, Stella's brain is all silicon and programs and she finds extremely easy to interact with fellow machines as well as having a good grasp of their composition. Stella is also able to hijack other systems directly, but it carries of a risk of being hacked back.
Lilim(Cyborg):Stella is an artificial being made from scratch. Initially a gynoid designed for kindergarten caretaking, Stella has been reworked as a combat-ready Lilim ages ago for some reason. Her all syntethic frame boasts Enhanced armor plates,Enhanced Reflexes and Synthetic Muscle Fibers that allow her superhuman feats. Due to her artificial makeup, she does not require from air or food, and can survive vacuum unaided. However, she does require to replace her power source regularly, cannot swim at all, and can be weak to hacking if the opponent is skilled enough. She also requires special manteinance regularly. As an artificial being, most emotions are alien processes to her.
Combat Programming (Warrior): Stella has built-in combat routines to aid her endeavour, as well as an entire library worth of Taekwondo installed. However, unlike most human warriors, and due to the nature of an artificial gynoid, she replaces the warrior's pride for a strong desire to protect, almost bordering on maternal instinct. Whenever a human under her charge is hurt in her presence, the combat mode activates (more similar to the Guardian Perk in terms of psychological fixation).
Perks: List all your Perks here. You can also give these a small custom description to fit your character if you want to.
Optimized Frame(Athletic): Stella's gynoid's frame is specifically fine tuned to allow her mobility without parallel (unless the activity in question is swimming). She can handily break human records when performing.
Proficiency- Housework and Childcare. For some Reason, Stella refuses to wipe out the sectors in her memory that deal on how to care for children and other human beings.
Personality: Stella's personality is hard to gauge, given the fact her frame has a very limited array of expressions besides a blank stare. Her nonverbal communication comes essentially from her actions. Stella is rather sensitive to human anguish, and will track down the sources of distress and attempt to fix the situation no matter the cost. Sometimes, even violently. Stella's programming as a caretaker and a protector sometimes go beyond the definition of human, and sometimes aliens and animals, and even plants fall under that definition too. Stella seems to prefer doing tasks to keep humans happy, and keep them fed and well-slept. However, Cruxi seem to trigger a seek and destroy impulse in her. For some reason, all Cruxi sightings set her systems on alert, as if it was an electronic analogue of hatred.
Stella also loves dry, closed places with lots of machinery where she can power down and do routine tasks that are sleep analogues to humans. She feels very comfortable around other tech and machinery, and sometimes she can even be seen "talking" to Framewerks.
Background: Once widely considered an urban legend, the frame known as Steel Raven 456 started as a simple utility gynoid in a frontier world, where she was tasked with helping raising the local children in a top-grade nursery. Stella has very corrupted databanks of what exactly happened there, but she clearly remembers the attack of the Cruxi, the fear of the children and her owner telling her to defend the kids with a makeshift weapon. Stella's first taste of combat was clumsy, but allowed the children to be rescued. However Stella herself suffered critical damage in several systems that decomissioned her for a time, and left to rust in an abandoned planet.
Some time later, her circuits were revived, as she saw a face she could still recognize from her databanks, looking at her barely functioning self. One of the children, transitioned into a young adult had managed to purchase her scrap and revived her. He then went on to give a briefing on the situation. How that day, many children were saved, but many were dead, and how the now adults were waging a war on their own. A war against the Cruxi, the aggressors that had fired that day. Moisture fell on her faceplate. Tears. The adult was crying like a child in front of her.
A new directive was set into Stella's mind. Continue her original role. Protect the now grown up adults and their descendants. Eliminate the Cruxi threat.
With the help of her former charges, Stella was rebuilt, and reborn not as a caretaker gynoid any longer, but as a combat unit who could pull her weight on the battle and outside. More fights. More losses. More tears. Stella became scrapped several times, then revived. Each time sharper, faster, better programmed, as the children and her descendants pitched in resources to keep rebuilding her. Dozens became hundreds.
A new directive was set. Protect all humanity from the Cruxi.
Then, one day, Stella was notified of a new project, and issued a new order.
Missing People: Her original owner. She does not know if he's still alive.
Additional information: Apron optional.
Framewerk Name: The Mother Goose
Appearance: Mother Goose is less a Framewerk and more a walking mass of thick armor and black metal. While it looks almost cylindrical and has comically shaped heavy armor and legs, the mech is actually a near unstoppable high pressure unit in the battlefield. Too heavy to run away. Too heavy to flank. All it can do is advance at glacial place and soak the fire from other units.
Weight Class: Super Heavy (Armor) (Athletic,Cyborg- Moves at Heavy, Armor at Super Heavy+3, Warrior- Melee Damage at Super Heavy+3, Ranged at Super Heavy+2)
Framewerk Type: Frontliner
Primary Weapon Systems:
Rocket Hammer
Shredder Shotguns
Missile Launchers
(Warrior):Ripper Fists
Secondary Systems:
Bastion.
(Cyborg Mod): Enhaced Movement Protocol (Moves at Light 1/turn per battle)
Name: Jake Twilight (Real name unknown) Callsign: Seven Gender: Male Appearance: Pilot Type: Skilled Age: 25 Background Potentials: Awareness Stealthy
Perks: Athletic Academic Networking
Weakness: Suicidal Behavior (Custom) - Despite being well trained, educated and having connections with other "Recon" divisions of the military as shown, it comes with a downside. Being born and raised in a batllefield all his life, death itself doesn't scare Jake at all. If anything, there are those that say he's just "looking for a place to get killed". While he won't follow an order to "shoot himself", he will follow an order that may have very little odds of success to none whatsoever or perhaps throw himself in front of a bullet if it means "protecting a mission objective" without any prep time. Similar to "Death or Glory" but with no upside, Jake suffers 'reduced chance to dodge equivalent to two levels of higher weight class until the start of your next turn' when near an objective or other pending circumstances...
Personality: To say that Jake is your typical "stoic" soldier would be the best way to describle him. Rarely showing any sort of emotion, he talks when spoken to but has some quirks that make you think he's still human. When ordered to be "at ease" or simply to take down time, he can be seen either training, studying or perhaps things more normal like playing video games or other kinds of games to reading. His "muse is music" though it seems as he's seen never without some form of a headset.
Jake rarely goes out of his way to "mingle" or talk to anyone casually unless it has to do with a "mission" or during a combat senario. Though there were reports that state that there WERE times where he did small talk with a person or two at times and perhaps even more so when he was in The Numbers division...
By the end of the day though, there are those that say Jake means well. He sadly was just forced to grow up too quickly...
Background: Not much is known of the early origins of the pilot known as Jake "Seven" Twilight. The name itself given to him by a scientist when he was drafted into his framewerk program.
Jake seemed like a "ghost" in today's society even all the way in the depths of space. Even when he eventually found his way into the military, blood testing and other forms of medical identification couldn't properly I.D. him. But they say that he was found as an infant among the corpses of other dead humans after a Cruxi attack and was found by unknown civilians. Afterwards, records and eyewitness accounts having him "bouncing" as he once put it from one space colony to another just trying to make ends meet. Never saying a word...never stating his mind or his desires.
There are many that say that Jake is your typical war victim and shows just how cruel the war was even back then.
However, what we do know is, despite his dry personality, he was considered one of their best and brightest but again, his lack of emotion seemed counter-productive to those training to be a framewerk pilot. Despite this, early "military" records show him at around age 18 him piloting what is known as "Subwerks" or framewerks not as advanced as the ones seen recently. Despite being old school mechas, Jake showed excellent skill in piloting such machinery despite the disadvantage of no "sync" system as seen in todays mechs.
Then, four years ago from the present time, he was transfer to a private framewerk division that simply went by the codename "The Numbers". Said to be a specialized unit, it was actually a division similar to what perhaps Lorenzo is doing now in the present time. However, there were stories of the group being a "black ops" team said to do the "dirty work" that other pilots wouldn't be able to handle. That included fighting and even killing targets that weren't Cruxi...
The leader was also an old man who simply went by the code name "Cauldron". With Jake, the team consisted of Seven pilots with Jake being the seventh, hence his callsign "Seven". Despite the stories around the group, it's said that Cauldron did care about pilot "quality" but had misgivings about other "methods" that were being used to fight the war with the Cruxi. While it isn't clear what he didn't agree on it was clear that there was friction brewing between his old group and the general military.
What Jake did during those four years with The Numbers is classified but it's said that Cauldron suffered health complications that prevented him from continuing leadership. However, due to Cauldron's misgivings with other methods of producing pilots, higher ranking military leaders were quick to disband the division. Perhaps seeing them as possible "threats" even.
What exactly happened to Cauldron and the six other pilots is either classified or unknown entirely but Jake was an exception due to his skills and experience. Thus he received a late transfer order to Lorenzo's division.
Missing People: Jake doesn't remember his past or his origins so his only missing people seems to be the six other pilots of his old division but perhaps Cauldron himself is someone he actually care about for a time....
Framewerk Name: Angel Zero Appearance: Weight Class: Medium Framewerk Type: Specialist
Primary Weapon Systems: "Rapid Execution Adaptation Processor" or REAP is Angel Zero's unique system. Put in simple terms, it allows the framewerk to wield any weapon it can equip to maximum skill level so long as said weapon doesn't require any sort of advanced installation. If Angel Zero can pick it up, it can be weaponized. Though it can only hold two weapons at a time which usually includes a firearm and a melee weapon. The "Heavy Assault Gun" and "Laser Blade" are it's default loadout when there's nothing else to choose from but examples of compatible weapons are the Moonbreaker Railgun, Multiform Rod, Marker Light and Vibroblade to name ones pilot Seven has used.
Secondary Systems: Another unique trait of the Angel Zero is it's wings. More specific, the "Cloaking Wings MK.2". It's the exact same as the original Cloaking Wings but with the added benefit of "visual cloaking". It can literally turn invisible though the visual cloaking part of the system isn't perfect. It can easily be deactivated by either taking any sort of damage, firing a weapon or certain kinds of jammers even if said jammer doesn't shut down the normal functions of the Cloaking Wings. A good pilot can even see the "shimmer" of the framewerk when it moves so the invisibility isn't perfect. Still, the cloak provides extra chance to evade attacks or perhaps even stealth tactics to avoid detection. Though with the addition of the "Multiple Fire Control System" and "Air Recon Drones (5)", the Angel Zero is truly a jack-of-all-trades but with a slight lean on reconnaissance, stealth and versatile combat options.
A generally relaxed and laid-back sort of person, though equal parts diligent and earnest in his efforts all the same despite this. In formal situations he usually seeks to be generally polite and friendly around others, and will due to his training and discipline will on the proper formalities in front of superiors. A hard-working soul overall, thoughh, he has a good heart that desires to do good in the world and for others, and in this vein whose thoughts upon being set on course to become a Framewerk Pilot was to embrace it while also finding it to be problematic in his life in more ways than one at the same time. He likewise is a natural polymath of sorts, at least in effect, enjoying the taking up of and looking into how to do things like cooking, baking, tinkering with machines, and even repairing something like a broken coffee machine and learning what the components of it do and their importance to the whole of the coffee machine in question.
At the same time, he's someone who will bear the wounds he has silently and try to do what he can as best as he can due to thinking that bottling it up is 'the best choice' at this point in time. Further, he is also someone who despite all the preparation he has been given has a notable fear of death he tends to bury deep down, and yet is trying to adopt a rather forced form of stoicism ahead of time to help himself counteract those stresses in his mind atop the discipline instilled by his initial training and such alike. Indeed, to stop the Cruxi is to stop the flow of death into the meat-grinder of a conflict, he hopes at the very least, but in contrast taking a human life itself would be a rather big and hard thing to imagine swallowing all the same in his mind (a possible but hard reality that even he can't ignore).
To an extent he is additionally someone who could be described as ‘ambivert’, both finding people ‘ok’ to be around yet being out of his depth as a fresh new pilot and preferring alone time and ‘time to think’ on his end despite at times enjoying the company of others perhaps.
Background:
The second of three children born to his parents, Lucius was born to what felt like a loving and whole family at first glance. A mother who was a Framewerk researcher working at a government-contracted company who was producing them, but seemed to try to always make time to be home, and a father who had been an engineer in the military before losing an arm and a leg and ultimately being sent home and working at a local mechanic shop to try to stay closer to his family. He and his older sister, Lira Sterling, were happy to spend time with their parents where they could as they all sought to make the best of things. Albeit they would begin with having to have babysitters for a while, for when both their parents were working, until Lira got old enough at the tentative age of thirteen that she was allowed to step in and take care of things instead (at least around the house). Yet it was also around this time that their mother, ultimately, would bear the third and final child of their marriage: Patrick Sterling.
This pregnancy, however, would also mark a stark change in things for their family overall. Their mother would suffer complications, being stuck in the hospital for longer stretches of time, and about the time she gave birth her job would refocus her and several others in their staff onto a new type of project aimed at new Framewerk developments of a ‘special’ sort. Where she had once been trying to avoid becoming a ‘workaholic’, and enjoyed the rare vacation with her children and husband, his mother seemed to ‘become possessed by something’ in their eyes. Something about her new area of investigation and research, or perhaps new project that she had been assigned to, seemed to garner her attention in more ways than one. Sometimes she’d stare at Lucius himself while quiet, sometimes glancing at Lira, and where she’d tentatively been there for Patrick she seemed to gloss over his existence more and more and put it off on her husband. More and more often she stayed at work, or slept as close to work as possible instead of coming home, and less and less she paid any attention to even her own husband (her last remaining warm link to her family as it would end up being). The money from her work kept the household running and lights on, that much remained certain for the time being at least, but where there had once been warmth things began to cool more and more until a once warm household became about as cold as ice as even their father became seemingly disconnected from her in kind.
When Lucius turned fifteen years old, or like a day before to be more precise, his mother would make a decision that would shake up their family more than not….she would sign up her children, without talking to her husband about the matter, to undergo ‘early testing for potential future Framewerk pilots’ in order to help fill the slots for a new and experimental early pilot-preparedness program (think some USA-like ROTC-type deal for potential future Framewerk pilots instead). A matter her work was incentivizing employees to do, as the government was beginning the start of such a program to ‘test pilot’ it on their homeworld, when agents suddenly showed after they had all gotten back from school it was certainly a surprise that led to them calling their father in the process. This led to a worried father scrambling home while the agents waited for him to arrive, which then turned into an argument back and forth and a few failed attempts to call their mother, which then led to their father being held overnight in the local police station while Lira had to lock up the house in a hurry before they were taken off to be tested.
And the results, as it would end up being, were strongest for Lucian, with Lira herself having the second best results to some extent and Patrick not having good results at all. All to the delight of the government and their mother, the fear and anger of their father, and the confusion of themselves in the middle of it all. It was enough to enroll Lucius, and Lira for a lesser time, into the so-called “Future Pilots Program” (FPP) while they remained in standard schooling. Lira, being older already, was only in the program a year before being allowed to stay home due to ‘family needs’, though she’d be placed on a ‘reserve pilot candidate list’, and this simultaneously came at the cost of Lucius volunteering essentially being guaranteed to serve as a military pilot after graduating from school and the program ‘due to having far greater potential’ and being seen as a more desirable candidate overall anyways compared to his older sister. Even so, the whole affair had his father fuming, arguing with their mother over the phone what few times he could get her on it, and more and more often coming home oddly later than normal….and sometimes with the smell of an unknown perfume clinging to his collar despite his attempts to get his clothes into the laundry as soon as possible after walking in the front door. Patrick had grown to become a more cold and uncaring person himself, perhaps to cope with what was going down, and Lira became the last ‘warm heart’ at the center of the family for herself and her siblings as best as she could manage in the meantime. Even their father became a bit more distant from them, though he also made even more efforts to ‘be there with us’ as Lucius would put it. This despite his own struggles and decline happening along the way as well.
Though as Lucius neared the end of the program and his graduation from it and school alike, his father seemed to take Lira or Patrick aside more and kept him somewhat more at a distance. It all would culminate in Lucius’ graduation from school and the program being briefly attended by his father and siblings, before they left early and, well, he never saw them again. Because at the ripe age of eighteen, freshly graduated, and having been prepped to leave for the military the next day already, he arrived home to find his father, older sister, and younger brother having disappeared alongside the family vehicle and a fair amount of their things. Only his room remained untouched, left behind, save for a note that Lira had slipped under his pillow and seemingly wrote down alike amidst a fair bit of rushing and haste.
His father had fled, fled to another planet, one his older sister couldn’t divulge in her note at their father’s behest, to set up a life with Lira and Patrick far from their mother and the chances that Lira would be taken ‘also’ as a pilot. Lucius? Lucius, as it were, was the sacrificial lamb of the whole affair whom they couldn’t bring along without causing more trouble. Lucius didn’t much question it, or perhaps it was better to say that he perhaps has some instinctual suspicions but had kept it at arm’s length to try to enjoy what good time he had left with his father and siblings…maybe some tiny sliver of him hoping that something like this wouldn’t have happened. Yet even so, it was what it was and Lucius was taken in by the military the next day as he locked up the now-abandoned house behind him and told them what had happened. Not like his mother, whom he’d actually go to meet as well a few days later, thought on the matter. Albeit she frankly had news to share, much of which was nothing to her but was news to Lucius. She already divorced his father, a thing he hadn’t told Lucius at least, two months prior over long-distance. But she had hoped to get Lira in the piloting program, much to her actual frustration, and paid no mind to Patrick who had produced no results during the prior testing years ago. Likewise his father had taken a good chunk of her bank account in the divorce as well, it seemed, before she had gotten him off of it. That money itself was more of a bother to her than anything else at this venture, and the warmth she seemed to give Lucius was due to ‘his potential’ and his becoming a pilot.
Because as it turned out, not that Lucius is supposed to officially know despite hearing his mother talking in the background by chance to one of the military escorts who had taken him to see his mother (at least), his mother had been for years now working on technology that ‘worked alongside those bearing humanity’s true potential’ so that ‘we can finally, hopefully, see the end of this war’ in her own words. As his mother had lost her parents to the Cruxi, and his father lost a brother to them, it did make some sense to his mind….but even so he kept his mouth shut in this case. He was then escorted out, the last he’s seen his own mother even by now, and for a year thereafter he was put into general training, simulations, sparring matches with other new recruits, and such things to try to ‘gather useful data’ from him (likely for his mother and her government-contracted employer to also use in part for all he knew) before moving him to the Framewerk Program proper.
And thus, perhaps a touch late, he is being transferred finally to the Fortress Ship Solaire alongside his new Framewerk unit.
Missing People: Maternal grandparents he never got to know, and a paternal uncle that he did actually get to know a little bit before he died to a Cruxi attack on another world. None of it was as personal as losing everything to them....though....
Yet it can be said the Cruxi in some manner took his mother from him and his family, by giving her the (unknown to him) silent and hidden obsession with the Cruxi’s defeat that led her into years of struggling therapy as well as military-grade R&D work with a company contracted with the Galactic Federation’s government. An obsession that, while better managed than not due to her therapy, when she came to be turned toward research development aimed at ‘people like Lucius’ brought her to see her own children in a new light and into the realm of her obsession. The obsession had then turned into an addiction, one where she felt something along the lines of: “I can help stop them….and now, now two of my children could do so as well at least. We can end this. Help end this. Do SOMETHING rather than nothing.”
Thus her mental filter and now blossoming obsession overrode maternal instinct, all while her employers only intervened as far as ‘it ensured she doesn’t work herself to death or such things for her own good’ as they’d claim, and her husband struggled to ‘ground her back again’ alongside her therapist. Yet her therapist’s home network would be silently ‘unapproved from the company list of mental health services they use for their employees’, being changed alongside other policies, which left the work on ‘grounding her back on her own two feet’ to her husband and kids alone….and her husband bore the brunt of that, a brunt that led even him to break and try to cope underneath it all while seeking to at least ‘be there’ for his own kids.
Ultimately, Lucius’ father decided that his wife had ‘become someone else totally’, seeing ‘the warm and human part of her, one that we’d both fought to ground and maintain and help thrive, die out almost overnight’ in his eyes. He divorced her in secret, which she didn’t care about at the time so ‘sure’ was her response, and planned to take Lira and Patrick and ‘hide far, far from military eyes’ to avoid Lira being taken as a pilot. Fake names, a new bank account, everything he could do to get away from his wife and ‘what she did to us’ even at the cost of Lucius. Because in the end ‘Lucius was a cost worth sacrificing to save the family’ in his eyes….and something he did despite initially struggling for months about the matter and Lira trying to get him to bring Lucius along before he graduated. Yet the boy’s graduation, and the military wanting him much more than they did Lira, it was the perfect time to flee.
So Lucius’ older sister, ill-adjusted younger brother, and struggling father abandoned him while the military didn’t have eyes on them. Took the best they could, ran with a chunk of their mother’s formerly-shared bank account that had been taken out just after sending in the divorce papers and before she removed his father from the account, and only Lira had cared to leave behind even a hasty note trying to explain anything about what was going on in some capacity at least. Lucius’ mother currently solely owns the house, his father’s name being taken off of it by now, and he technically can still live there as far as she is concerned…Lira too, if she ever happens to pop up again that is, as far as his mother is concerned.
Further, the moment it was confirmed that her second oldest child wasn’t ‘mentally ill’, Lucius’ mother celebrated his and Lira’s discovery as ‘special people’. Both to celebrate their status as ‘the next step in humanity’ and in terms of her work regarding them, and, well, in some small sliver of a part as a mother who was glad for the fact her kids were ok and didn’t have ‘other problems’ as had been feared prior to this point. Not that she ever voiced it aloud, or even realized it even actually registered in her mind for a moment deep in her state of Cruxi-obsession fueling her at work and otherwise by now. Indeed...perhaps some sliver of his mother remains in there, though could anyone be certain of that for sure? Or would that be simply another tragedy of the whole situation?
Background Potentials:
1 ) Awareness - You possess an uncanny sense for danger, and can react to situations faster than others. Your actions always happen first during an event. You also receive a chance to avoid invisible attacks or attacks from ambushes, and gain improved dodging equivalent to a single level of lower weight class. However, you are also more jumpy as a result, sometimes shifting your eyes to scan for dark shadow or fleeting glimpses of movement.
((Between this, his “Master of Directions” perk, and his “Clairvoyance”, it is flavored overall as him having a proper ‘sixth sense’ or ESP of sorts. Albeit one he has to learn to better focus upon and will be honing to a fine edge in battle and outside of it moving forwards, but a peculiar sort of one which works even passively for him at times alongside his subconscious and which he just seems to ‘roll with’ as he ever has. Not that he didn't get medically looked at due to his 'visions' and peculiarness when he was younger, or that his sister Lira wasn't at some point in the past as well, either.
However, his passiveness about the matter of this 'ESP' of his is, for him, just how he’s adjusted to it all over time as its always 'been a part of me' in his eyes. As natural as breathing. Yet while doctors once debated alongside his parents privately giving him medications for his ‘visions’, when they became more frequent and vivid for a time when he actually told his parents about them, before his therapist settled the matter by noting that ‘he is a growing boy, it is most likely his imagination, a healthy one at that, going off a bit’. Not that it also didn’t help with him stopping talking about the visions to his parents, though Lira would admit to him in private later that she had less frequent episodes of the same things but had always kept quiet about them usually thinking they were ‘nothing but dreams’ and a small incident involving one when she was even younger.
It was the sort of thing his mother came to increasingly think back on, though, when her research turned to ‘people like him’. Along with the government providing more information and evidence of their actual existence, then, and her mind going back more and more to her second oldest child…it finally convinced her inside of her own mind to sign him and his siblings up to be tested to see if any of them were truly ‘special people’. If they were the ones that she’d been focusing her work toward developing Framewerk tech for more and more so over the years. If they were ‘the next step in human evolution’ as it spread across the stars, so one theory about such people might have spelled it out, and it turns out…her instincts were right on the money with Lucius, and partly so with Lira to boot in a secondary sense. Not so much with Patrick though.))
2 ) Clairvoyance - Sometimes you have what you could only describe as visions. Most of the time they make no sense, but rarely you might learn about something that has happened, is happening right now, or could happen in the future. You possess the ability to sometimes see glimpses, the contents of which are determined by GM. Also, you may automatically dodge any attack that can be physically avoided, explained as foreseeing the attack before it happens. The chance to dodge reduces the more times the ability is used in a single battle, resetting after a proper rest. You also tend to see things that aren't there. You might become more nervous and paranoid, or become chatty about them, such as spoiling the twist of a movie others haven't seen.
3 ) Humanity’s Potential - You are special, even among Gifted Pilots, and capable of something extraordinary. A caveman would simply call it magic, but a learned scholar might theorize it to be a visible manifestation of a theoretical concept invisible to the naked eye, but able to be manipulated by the select few. You're capable of performing actions that defy the known laws of physics when invoking the ability. However, these actions and their results are determined by the GM, with the pilot unable to control how it exactly occurs. Also, the effect diminishes the more times it is used in a single battle, replenishing after a proper rest.
Perks:
1 ) Master of Directions - You gain a supernatural sense of direction towards an object or person you have seen before, and will have better chances of finding locations you know about.
2 ) Creative - You're innovative, and capable of making all sorts of things, from cooking soup and baking cakes to inventing smaller inventions to impress your fellow pilots. You could even add tiny little modifications to your Framewerk, though not to the same extent as a Machine Mind. If you have both, you can make two modifications per event.
Additional information:
1 ) His siblings also have middle names, I just have to think of them eventually.
2 ) Is there a chance to run into his father and runaway siblings? Perhaps. His father wanted to flee to deeper, even safer space, but also wanted to flee to avoid the military’s attention. Fake/new names, etc, the whole nine yards within what he can manage to do to keep Lira from becoming a potential pilot and so forth.
3 ) His favorite desserts are actually fruit tarts, admittedly, and things like chocolate-dipped berries and banana splits and fruit-preserve-filled pies or chocolates and such things that also incorporate fruits into them. But ancient Earth’s idea of fruitcake from centuries ago? Well-....w-wait, he even likes that too?!
4 ) He is, as taken from one of the Perk descriptions: “[C]apable of making all sorts of things, from cooking soup and baking cakes to inventing smaller inventions to impress your fellow pilots. [He] could even add tiny little modifications to [his] Framewerk over time, though not to the same extent as a Metal Mind [could].” His skills range from video games to computers, to tinkering with and repairing machines (exposure to his father’s mundane work also helped this), to cooking and baking, to drawing, to even reading and skills like welding. This is the general breadth of his polymath-grade skills, however, not meant to be a “he pulls ‘X’ skill out of his arse whenever it is needed at all possible occasions” type of deal.
“Rex Artus”
Framewerk Name: Rex Artus, aka “Rex”
((Official Technical Model/Title: The GFX-17-2 “Newtype” Framewerk
It is also the successor Framewerk developed from the GFX-J-17-1 “Special Pilot Innovations Testing” Unit, aka: “SPIT-U”, or as it is most colloquially and affectionately best known to the engineering team that it works alongside back 'home'- “Spit”.))
Weight Class: Heavy (Bonus: Speed)
Framewerk Type: Backliner (Has improved Dodging and Speed equal to Medium weight class units)
Primary Weapon Systems:
1 ) Moonbreaker Railgun ((A high-powered long-range weapon. The weapon does not give a big energy signature due to primarily firing physical projectiles with electromagnetism, making it suitable for sniping. Capable of piercing even thick armor. The weapon can fire specialized projectiles that are either Anti-Battleship Armor Piercing (Kinetic) or High Explosive Crowd Control projectiles (Energy). The weapon's projectile can be accelerated to increase both range and power to a safety limit. Charging the weapon past its safety limits further empowers the shot considerably, but risks melting the weapon. The weapon also has a slow firing rate, and is not suited for close combat.))
Secondary Systems:
1 ) Stargazer - ((An experimental propulsion and defense system that uses extremely powerful magnets harvested from super-dense star systems. The system was originally designed for deep space exploration where fuel sources are scarce or non-existent. By aligning the magnets with bodies with greater mass like stars in the direction that the Framewerk is set to travel in, the Stargazer is then able to push and pull the Frame in that direction simultaneously. Similarly, the system is capable of pushing projectiles off of their course and away from the Frame or other targets, keeping them safe. Given enough time, the pilot can redirect attacks to specified directions to avoid redirecting the attack into an ally or even force the projectile to strike an enemy target. When used for space travel, it doubles the Frame's forward speed.))
2 ) Multiple Fire Control System - ((A suite of comprehensive software and hardware, and sensor arrays. Able to acquire targets using RADAR, LADAR, Infrared and traditional optical target acquisition. The Framewerk is able to freely and easily distribute power from its energy cells to the first three detection modes, allowing for great flexibility on the battlefield. If necessary, the modular nature of the system makes it possible to install active/passive sonar for marine warfare in less than five hours in a standard Framewerk berth.
The system also sports highly advanced target tracking and firing solution computation abilities owing to a specialized logic core that runs synchronously to Framewerk's own computer chipset. In proper conditions, only a few types of enemies may outgun the Framewerk within medium range owing to the constant effective firepower provided by the system. In addition, the system may compile esoteric data on-the-fly into the standard communication packet format for transmission to any applicable friendly networks for their use and perusal in real-time. When activated, the user may make a weapon attack against as many targets in a single action as they can reach in medium range.))
(placeholder here for replacement Secondary System once it is decided upon) -
3 ) Attack Drones X-Type Variant 2 - ((A relatively new type of drone of which these are an experimental subtype, 4 of these are housed and maintained within the Framewerk's upper back. These drones are armed with a medium particle cannon for greater firepower, instead of a small laser and melee-range laser dagger, and are fitted with both bladeless propulsion for in-atmopshere movement and a set of several smaller Microburst Monopropellant Thrusters for improved maneuverability and dodging capabilities when moving in zero-g. They further have an equipped plasma reactor, and are capable of attacking in synchronized teamwork. These drones can fully operate at medium range and are capable of hovering. When out of range of the Framewerk, they will enter standby mode and partially power down until either an emergency 'recall' function is activated (a one way recall to bring them back to dock with the unit specifically, not just bringing them back into range) or they otherwise return to being within range of the Framewerk itself. If given an override command the pilot can cause their reactors to overload, resulting in a detonation with high destructive power.))
(Update 5/31/26 - During this free time period, at some point, Lucius is going to use his "Creative" perk to mod his drones before the free time's end. The mod is as follows: "The drones automatically 'piggyback' his control signals, acting like signal boosters/transmitters, extending the range of his drones. This is because one drone can sit within range of the Framewerk, doing it job while also piggybacking Lucius' control signals, and then other drones can go up to a medium range distance from the first drone as if it was the Rex Artus. This effect could be made into a chain via multiple drones, or acquiring/modifying more drones, so Lucius can send his drones much farther afield than normally possible.")

EDIT 3/21/26 - Neatened up Lucius' personality section a touch, and added a line or two I'd forgotten when intially writing his app (that is my bad).
EDIT 4/21/26 - Added his missing chosen bonus for the mech, which will be Speed.
