It never occurred to me that this would happen but Toshi is the kind of mixture of dense and polite that would make any form of subtlety fairly ineffective.

Unrelatedly, we were talking about what configurations characters would initially group up in on the discord. Got any preferences for Tilly? We're currently leaning towards 4 groups of 3 characters, though uneven groupings are on the table.

While I'm half disappointed that Tilly didn't get a rise outta Toshi, I'm also half laughing my butt off at just how dense and oblivious he is, despite trying to be a "lady killer". I enjoyed the interaction very much. xD

As for who Tilly would "join up with". That's very hard for me to say, due in part to her personality. Tilly doesn't really work well in a group, because she's way too selfish and self-indulgent, who will frequently wander off or pursue things she's interested or curious about, but would rather not spend energy on that which she has little or no interest in (i.e. usually stuff that OTHER characters care about, unless their interests overlap). Furthemore, she hasn't really talked to anyone besides Melissa (very briefly) and Toshi (also briefly) - and that level of brief interactions isn't really enough to make Tilly - in-character-vise - go: "Oh ye, sure! We'll hit the road together!".

So, rather than me giving you a "I'm leaning towards them and these", I'll just say; If you want Tilly to travel with your character, you'd better invest time in making a good impression on her. And you'd better be prepared to deal with frequent stops, pauses, detours and potentially unhelpful travel-support.

Now, does that sound like someone you'd want to bring along? :P

Doing the whole "give theme songs to every character" thing, but with instrumental music, like BGM for that character.

Added a few more physical details about Ryuuichi (and his current state) to my post since both Yuu and Lina are looking at him far more closely now than someone just looking at him from a distance.

Not sure I quite think/feel that Tilly's fits though. I know a lot of you seem to think that she's some kinda bouncy, chatty, energetic extrovert with a lot of pep and whatnot... But that's not really what she's meant to be like... And that theme's a bit too boppin' and lively in my ears/mind. ^^

... Guess that just means I gotta try and do a beter job of writing her as mellow, casual and relaxed.

I am kinda considering, is the one you picked for Stiles a bit too chill? Then again, maybe it will fit pretty well later on. :)

Believe it or not, the creators of Johnny Bravo have confirmed that he does... get action off screen. His successful dates are never shown because those wouldn't be as funny or interesting as the rejection, which is the focus of the show.

There's even an episode where he gets sacrificed as a virgin sacrifice and it... doesn't work. Bro gets rejected.

There are episodes where he almost gets some action... Like the one where he dates the antelope... or the one where they basically parody the Titanic... Or the one where ge gets a magical genie... But, again, it's just almost... And ends in still ends up as failures. ^^;

Okay, I've settled on using "Victor" mostly in posts, as that is what everyone will know him as. So, uh. The post I just posted.

Victor gonna socialize with everyone. Get that 100% Achievement!

I got inspired by the above post to ACTUALLY talk to everyone (that Stiles hasn't talked to yet). But, everyone is in scenes and Victor can't be everywhere at once, so I imagined each scene actually takes place a bit of time away from one another, but that doesn't stop me from writing them all at the same time. If you prefer this happening otherwise, then tell me. But, some oddities may have occurred.

@Savo We had a little convo about if this was happening while Yuu was getting water, but since I'm having Victor RIGHT NOW overhear that Ryuu is blind, that would imply Victor isn't there to get the water, can I claim this happened before Yuu went to talk to Ryuu and Lina? Then they can meet again by Ryuu when he comes back, hah.

@Renose@Crusader Lord Despite wanting to keep all scenes separately, I really did want Victor to overhear that Ryuu said he was blind. Albeit it occurred to me that maybe Lina wanted to say something along the lines of what Victor just said? In that case, feel free to tell me to edit that post, I can have him keep his mouth shut for a bit. XD

Also, Lina didn't get her own part because I realized I was intruding on a scene she's in, so it felt a little strange to have another section for her. Which led to that he doesn't say a lot to her, hah.

This was one time I checked with the player (Xalt) first to make sure he was okay with this, I note to everyone else. I have zero intention of playing it further than the joke. Stiles is just an easily distractable person, okay? And those are very distracting.

So, when typing the part for Melissa, I realized Victor was just gonna follow Melissa around out of curiosity, and at that point it felt far more likely she would speak first after finding him following her. Which led me to contact @Floofenstein about it, and now their interaction is a little collab instead. And that's why there's a random collab mid-post. Yepp.

@Azure Bubbles@Yankee I was gonna type one where he approaches Hazel, too, but I feel like her interaction with Stella might greatly impact how she experiences others after this, especially since Victor is currently interacting with Stella's pony. So, yeah, made sense to leave that out and let that interaction play out as is.

... Yepp, I think that's all special notes I wanted to note. Tell me if there's anything you all want me to change, heh.

Since subtle innuendos didn't work on Toshi, let's try something more direct.

As for Victor... Well... I kinda feel bad for him... He has made a terrible life-choice... xD

Posted. I got the sense there was a misunderstanding about how dense Toshi is, but this is a pretty good illustration of how he thinks. He's much more innocent than he probably seems.

He's also the type to be significantly more flustered by holding hands or a kiss than anything overtly sexual.

Oh, no, I perfectly got the idea that he was a lot more of talker than a do-er by the contents of the previous post. That's why Tilly decided to take a much more "physical" approach, as she couldn't get the reaction she wanted out of just trading words with him.

And hey, look! It worked.
