First and foremost, Gabby has autism, or more specifically, asperger's syndrome. While it isn't something that really defines her, or something she lets define her, it's something that really has shaped her life, choices and lifestyles as well. As a result of constant alienation, ostracision and bullying in her life, she's rejected the idea of being amongst groups, and has become more paranoid regarding other people, and has become far more insecure than she normally has been. However, this doesn't mean that she shuts out people completely, with animals and people that she trusts and holds close to her heart, she is incredibly grateful for and often shows her love, affection and appreciation for. While she does somewhat understand the concept of empathy, she doesn't exactly know when to shut up, and often times she often thinks other people think like her. As a result, whenever she is with someone she likes or trusts, she often lets them into her life and tries to get them into the things she does as well. In regards to Kirk, however, her dog, she has a strong connection to her puppy. She doesn't see Kirk as a pet, but more of family member, or a little brother of some weird sort. She also enjoys the idea that she's in a story or a movie, and often times she might call out things that happen, or might see things that happen in this very RP coming from a mile away. She's also terrible when it comes to sarcasm, and is terrible at reading microexpressions or tone, however, she knows how to make a few jokes here and there.

With her ability to replicate sound perfectly, she could replicate just about any sound she would like, including animal calls, as well as the voices of other people she hears. With this, it enhances her ability to bond with other animals, as well as speak to them on some level. One of the secondary powers that come with this is the ability to hear frequencies that human ears can't hear, and make noises that others cannot pick up. With her connection with animals, her ability to use sound beyond the range of human ears, as well as various body languages, she's able to read animals better than most experts can, and it comes natural to her. She also has a strong bond with her little puppy Kirk as well, to the point where she could actually speak perfect English to Kirk and Kirk would understand her (on the level of basic concepts anyway). She also uses this to "tame" animals (essentially render them non-hostile to herself and other animals in her "pack").

Her powers look OK. Not overpowered at all. Though, I have one, small concern: how viable is the power. So far I'm not seeing any immediate offensive capabilities. As calling out for animals that can actually stand up to humans would be kind of... weird? I mean, I don't think the faculty would smile upon a bear suddenly roaring into the halls (I'm exaggerating btw). Even on the utility front I'm not seeing it immediately. Only when using subterfuge I'd imagine being able to mimic someone's voice and talk to animals would come in useful. But judging from a quick read, she seems to stand above that.

Well, that was my 2 cents on the case.

@Legion02 Well, that's kind of the whole point to her really. She's not really a fighting type, at all, and at best she's stealth/support. However, since she can mimic sounds and stuff, and make some of her own, she could put on some earplugs and scream a high-frequency scream that would nearly deafen people before making her escape. And while she can call for animals, it would take time for them to come to her support.

Hell she could probably learn a sound frequency that would make people delirious or something. IDK.

Carmen Chavana (22) - Hero - "Phoenix"

Do no harm but take no shit is one of Carmen's main goals when it comes to navigating this clusterfuck known only as Mayweather. She joined Mayweather after the fire as part of a spiritual journey to better herself and her powers before going off to fight in an international force, to help them destroy evil and bring good to a nation torn apart by oppression and war. Carmen's past wasn't all sunshine and rainbows, as Carmen was a convicted murderer, and has committed numerous acts of thievery, robbery, extortion and embezzlement with her crew that now goes by the name of the "Hudson Syndicate". However, her hopes of an easy and smooth transition to the side of good was dashed once she was introduced to the drama of Mayweather vs. Delphina, and to this day, she rejects the idea of camps and labels, and would rather the two groups get over each other and actually do something productive and helpful. After feeling alienated, and having felt no progress in her course of going to Mayweather, she left for a brief amount of time, pulled some heists, and ran into Witching Hour. After the events of Witching Hour, Carmen decided to get her shit together, finish what she started and bring an end to bullshit (the feud, drama, the fire case, the run-in with the Harts, and just about anything else that's incredibly stupid) once and for all. She also brought Liana, a sexy assassin with a fetish for murdering murderers, with her to act as her sidekick/assistant. Together, Carmen hopes to actually get shit done.

@AbandonedIntel so far. not bad. Kirk is adorbs. Just don't break the fourth wall too often. When you do it, make it count. i don't want that to be used and abused since that would cause the audience to lose their suspension of disbelief. also a dog that detects evil and bullshit, he'd bark everywhere because there are so many grey lines xD

for example, sure some of the harts are considered 'evil' because of their deeds but they are pretty upfront with their intentions unless you're Bianca whose just insane. They tell you what they want and if you cause them struggle, they will deal with it accordingly. hell even a good hero can be barked at because no one is 100 percent good, or 100 percent evil.

We can say he can sense when something is not right - like if you guys stumble upon a sketchy situation, but for him to detect evil immediately, i feel like that's kinda hard because even evil people aren't completely evil - unless they're psychotic, that's a different story.

what you have so far seems good! just finish up her history and alias name and we'll go from there. Nothing wrong with going the non-offensive route!

If it had not been for school funding, he'd not have been able to attend this, since he and his family are dirt poor, but they did, so he arrived earlier and took these helpful classes.

Min-soo would look pretty average if he worked less hard on being a tough guy. He definitely tries in that regard, both in how he dresses (hoodies, caps, street-fashion) and how he walks and talks. Some of it comes natural to someone like him, and other stuff was learned. Never the less, it does mean he comes across as generally quite the 'thug' if one were to label him as anything. In that regard he never had any trouble fitting into the Delphina college.

As far as his face and body go, there's nothing extremely out of place there, hence why it could be said he'd look average if he didn't act so tough. Apart from a rather corny tattoo on his knuckles, that reads 'scholar'. If you can count, that is a 7 letter word, while there are 4 knuckles on each hand, not counting the thumb (where you don't tattoo for these type of tattoo's). On the last knuckle the character rú is tattooed to complete the tattoo.

The tattoo certainly does complete his 'bad boy' look, but it does not hold any meaning. It's just a reference to Min-soo's religious roots in Confucianism, which arguably he is not doing a good job at maintaining. Au contraire, he is not much of a scholar. His parents would call him a disgrace and disown him if they knew he had tattoos, as they are illegal in Korea.

He also has small burn marks (kind of old, healed, but still visible) on his palms. The reason will be explained in the history (duh).

Body wise he is quite well trained, though he is no body builder by any means. Specifically his upper body is toned, with some small definition in his abdomen and chest, showing the presence of his muscles. If he were to train a bit harder he'd get a sixpack, no doubt (and that's the goal, isn't it?). His arms are a bit further ahead, showing slightly more muscle growth, but again, not to the point of being overly muscly. If you had to summarize it, he just looks like someone that does a lot of physical work.

Being present the night of the fire was the ignition for a fear of fire, which can cause problems with powers that utilize fire, natural fires, intentional fires or god forbid a combination of those. This fear overpowers his fearless trait, cancelling out his reckless nature and causing him to back down or seek other ways of passing by this person/obstacle.

| Personality |
Stand-offish at best and outright hostile at best, Min-soo is something of a wild card when it comes to social interaction. He has a tendency to mingle in a quite hostile manner, and is vocal when he doesn't like something. Never the less, he can be nice to those he holds closely to himself if only out of self-preservation. And true to the Delphina standard of working their students to be the 'best they can be for themselves and themselves only' Min-soo is quite good at that. As mentioned before, he does what he wants, takes what he wants, and generally finds it quite acceptable to serve himself.

Although he is not very ambitious, he is certainly capable of taking advantage of others because he knows they will do the same to him. Similarly, if a situation presents itself where he can take advantage and elevate himself (whether that is for social standing, prestige or financial gains, or any other miscellaneous gain) he will possibly take it. For example, conflict is a situation where he could be of relative importance.

To friends, Min-soo is loyal and will defend them physically and verbally. Since he is not above acknowledging other peoples' superiority at times, he will also be loyal to his 'superiors' if need be. But they'll need to somehow prove this superiority to him. (No that's not code word for 'I'm edgy and you have to fight me' as it'll probably relate to leadership capabilities or just social reading skills, or persuasion.).

Min-soo is also honest, too much perhaps, and will generally say what he thinks. He's not an exceptionally smart guy however, so don't expect him to lecture you on the workings of physics. Expect something along the lines of 'Man, your sense of style is fucking shit. Read a fashion magazine, you moron,' or something like that. Uh, yes, we never said he wasn't insulting too.

| Abilities |

Major Ability + General Oversight: Pain-strength Conversion

Pain-strength Conversion _{(tips on the name? Not sure what to call it.)} is a power that relates to the conversion of pain into strength. The workings of this power convert any type of pain or wound into muscle strength. It is comparable to a more simple, but more straight-forward and permanent strength-enhancing power in that sense.

The workings boil down to a concept where a single punch does not affect him too much but consecutive punches in a fight will only end up making him stronger for the duration of that fight until the power wears out and he returns 'to normal'. Which is after the fight, most likely, unless there's a couple hours pause in the fight for some reason.

The more painful the strikes he receives are, or the bigger the wounds, the more you will notice the effects of this power. In short; one punch would not affect his strength that much at all. Getting punched twenty times would make him somewhat stronger, but not super human.

Being stabbed, shot or something of similar pain would make him severely stronger, and a foe to be reckoned with. Being punched by someone with superhuman strength would, most likely, power him up to be of similar strength, if not more.

The kicker is that this makes him an endurance fighter - the longer he stays in the fight, the likelier it becomes that he will win. Furthermore, it also means that no matter how hard you punch him, if you don't kill him or force his body to 'sleep' he will keep getting back up. Yes, even with a broken leg, he would still get up and force his body to 'overcome' this obstacle.

A downside is that the more this power takes over, the more he loses fine motor skills, meaning he'll lose control over his muscles and what would normally be a straight normal punch could easily become a loose wild swing. Naturally, this is more prone to being blocked/dodged (admittedly, at that level of strength, you would not want to block it, since that would hurt, a lot) but severely more powerful.

This power is also not regenerative, and as such he would need to get treated for wounds received afterwards. Breaking an arm won't stop him mid-fight, but it'll probably force him to the hospital for x amount of time. Similarly he is also not invulnerable. It's rather hard to draw strength from this power if you're dead, so if you blow his brains out, stab his heart or kill him with a rather direct method, he'll be gone.

Although not as effective, emotional 'pain' would also do the trick. However this is probably deeper than calling him a stinky buttface. It'd have to be something buried deep, and as of yet he doesn't have that. It'd be something like his parents dying (which they have not considered to do so, and are still alive) and another person using this against him. But really, what kind of twisted person would do that?

Minor Ability: Adrenalin Surge

Do you know that feeling when you are doing something that might not be wholly legal? Or when you are doing something exciting and adrenalin fills your body? If you have enough adrenalin, sometimes it seems like time slows down and your senses are heightened, taking up the small details and movements that others might miss.

This minor ability allows Min-soo to adapt these moments and use them at will, draining him of physical energy. It'll heighten his senses and seems to slow down time because of this even if this isn't wholly the case. In short, it makes him more capable of seeing things that might be missed regularly.

| Limitations |
The power is obviously dependent on pain, so any type of power or combat that does not evoke pain (physical or emotional) is not going to trigger anything in relation to this power and, in turn, returns him to his 24/7 state of being 'regular Min-soo'.

Another limitation is being dead. Can't draw on a power if someone takes you out in 1 shot.

Although this is listed in the above segment as being something he can push through (namely broken bones) that does not mean he can keep going endlessly. Break enough bones and, as with most people, he'll be unable to get up anymore even with raw strength.

Myeong Soo-hyun, father, 63, currently employed as a shift leader in a factory. Not known to have any powers, but did show a remarkable feat of strength after an injury during an accident.
Myeong Hye-won, mother, 59, unemployed. No known powers, and unlikely to have any.
Myeong Hyo-hae, sister, 17, highschool student excelling in classical arts and music. Government funding to attend a prestigious college, which is what her entire future is riding on. No known powers.
Myeong Ji-hyo, sister, 15, highschool student. No known powers. She is not noticeable that much, since she is a quiet one.
Myeong Bin-seong, brother, 13, highschool student, no known powers. Considered a troublemaker, he has already had numerous run ins with the police. His parents suspect he is part of a youth gang, and frequently ask Min-soo for help. One of the reasons Min-soo fears failing college, or otherwise getting into trouble as that might prevent him from helping his family.

| History |
His father was just a factory worker when he was born, and his mother was a stay-at-home mom after she got pregnant, working in the family corner store before that. When Min-soo was born, it was basically a sign that she would have to 'retire' and that his father would have to start working overtime almost every day. It was a poor existence and they lived in a very poor neighborhood. As a result of a lack of money, Min-soo went to a lackluster school too. By then, his sister was born. A few months after enrolling in primary school, a second sister was born. The workload for his father increased and he took on a second job, as well as applying for government benefits.

They moved into an even cheaper apartment with barely enough room, somehow getting by week to week, turning over every penny they could. It came close to eviction a couple of times, especially when a new brother was also born. This kept on for most of his early childhood and the first few years of him being a teenager.

At the ripe age of 14 he got involved with some shadier people, and spent long nights away from home. His parents were fed up with it, but didn't quite know what to do. There was no way to stop him from hanging out with these people that were a few years his senior. He didn't listen, punishing him made him only more angry and threatening to send him away didn't help either.

That was, until an accident occurred near school. During one of the few days that he did not skip and spend hanging out with the 'cool older guys that did illegal stuff', he was walking to school and got hit by a car. Despite breaking his legs, he somehow managed to summon the strength to lift the car up slightly and pull himself out from underneath it. Uh, yes, that was at age 14. That was the first showing of his powers. Though the police originally did away with it as a strange occurrence, but video footage of it went viral after a shop clerk from a store nearby uploaded the footage to YouTube.

A few months later a strange envelope landed on the doormat, and Min-soo was forced to translate it for his parents (whom did not know English). It was an invite to Delphina College. Though he was still sort of young, he got invited there once he was out of high school.

This was a bit of a driving factor for him. He started doing better in school and generally improved his attitude. Seemingly he had a future now. His parents were happy he stopped hanging out with shady people (though admittedly the effects of hanging with them had already taken place in him) and he could help provide later on.

During this time he also took up a job, saving for the future (which was not something anyone expected from Min-soo since he was someone that would get money and spend it on the same day, because he wasn't used to having money nor having things to spend it on). He worked numerous jobs, starting as a paperboy, then working at his grandfathers' cornerstore, and then he briefly worked one year aboard a fishing boat. He spent long periods of time aboard the ship, and then spent a few weeks at home before setting out again. It was hard work, backbreaking even, but it made him tough and taught him to work hard.

It was also during that time he began to understand his powers better, learning from practice and trial and error, rather than by being taught in it.

Some time later, Min-soo arrived by plane in America. Affording the ticket had been.. a challenge, but it was managed somehow. Min-soo expected that his father took a small loan from a loanshark for it, but he decided not to ask questions. He got a cab to the college, which took for ever and cost a fortune, but luckily Min-soo had been prepared and brought a bunch of money from the time he had spent working in Korea.

Things seemed to be going decent for him - he had studied a lot of English and slowly adapted to slang too, though his accent didn't quite fade. Not yet, anyway. At least, things were decent until the fire.

Min-soo was trapped in the dorm that time, and a beam had fallen in front of his door. After about 15 minutes or so deciding on what to do, he decided that if he stuck around any longer the fire would get him, or otherwise the smoke would. He prepared himself mentally, which wasn't a hard task for fearless Min-soo, and grabbed the beam, lifting it rapidly. It was then he came to terms with the fact that perhaps fearlessness wasn't a good thing. He could not lift the beam originally, but his hands burned heavily and, drawing on his power, he gained the strength to lift the beam after all.

But he swore never to get close to fire again. That hurt. He escaped, narrowly, almost passing out from inhaling the smoke. He felt woozy from the smoke, and his hands hurt, but the ambulance made sure to treat him for both those things. His hands healed fast but a lasting mark was to be expected.

He did not lose anyone or anything important there, since he was still quite new at that time. Never the less it was quite the experience and like so many others he found a good reason to find fault in the Mayweather school. It was for that reason that he dreaded taking up classes in the Mayweather school.. it was like being in the home of the very people that had burned down his school.
