I don't want to reveal too much (its more interesting when the story is revealed ICly), but it'll involve a world/system in my country that has a minority in its population that wishes to join another country (presumably the one that ends up in the war with my country).

What is your nation currently?

Its a Federated Constitutional Monarchy called the Musashi Empire. It under went an East Asia renaissance centuries ago so its culture is a mixture of East Asian cultures. I have the WIP sheet up somewhere in this thread. I'll be reposting it in the sheet section later today.

@6slyboy6 I have a couple of questions about your empire. But first off let me say it's an interesting idea.

1.For the Sankar beasts, it's said they are put under the control of Gensathi Operator. Should the operator die but there are more Gensathi Operators on the same planet/battlefield would they fall under others or would they go feral or turn on their masters? Also if all the Gensathi on a planet are wiped out who do they serve or are they merely killed.

2. Were the Gensathi asleep while the humans conquered the milky way and were only awaken recently or were they just outside known areas.

3. How many Gensathi are left exactly?

I think you are mistaking the Gensathi with the Gashathi a lot. So I'll try and place em in teh good position.

1. the sankar are independant, but they have an implant. The implant regulates their levels of adrenaline and other drugs that can enchance their fighting effiency, and is alos used to manipulate them. It can shock them if the yare about to retreat, and get killed if tehy DO retreat. That said they have their own will, and are a fully sentient race by themselves. However tehy are teh most controlled ones, as they are generally unpredictable should they be left alone. Like Orcs, really.

2. The gashathi, along with the other servitude races were left frozen in all their galaxies, and the Milky Way was one of them. And yes, they did sleep through it. They woke up around 15-10 years before teh collapse, and had already started masked operations to inhabit planets and settle their races. They had well hidden places, so technically speaking, this should strike the Milky Way as a new species, one that is unforeseen. Maybe not to @Monkeybusiness as his race was created by the Mekhar before the great empire of the gashathi fell apart.

3. There is over a billion estimated Gashathi that are still alive in cryogenics. But that is all of them. The Gashathi Rule, one of the biggest of their hideouts, has around 10 thousand gashathi, around 200 of which is a Gashathi Hirule, and theefore the most powerful of all the Gashathi.

Also thanks for the compliment, I worked a lot on the whole concept :D

^ Is along the lines of what I was thinking. I'm dubious such an idea would work with your aliens (though I'm not necessarily against the idea), but if you'd like to do something separate let me know.

Nothing except the fact that I doubt that a human population from a largely human empire would be keen on joining an alien empire where they would most certainly be a very small minority.

Of course I am certainly open to other ideas if you have any. Slight side note: while I haven't gotten the chance to take a good look at your sheet, the fact that your peeps would want to perform genetic experiments on humans wanting to join them makes them sound rather "douchy". =P

@Aristo I wouldn't worry about that, if you want to use aliens from known franchises, why not? I won't think any less of you, I do it myself all the time! And you can always give them an original twist or whatnot, I do that sometimes as well.
