@Lady Amalthea Hmm, perhaps I shouldn't have said that. What I meant was that it was just an Alliance ship in a sea of other ships. That's it. Nothing else. Mei is only interested in that fact. I was under the impression that one could tell it was Alliance, since in the post it's mentioned that people are avoiding it because it is Alliance. If that's not the case I will edit accordingly. But yeah, only information she has is that an Alliance ship is now on Newhope. I can edit to show that, if you wish.

Working on a new Rp - it will be the one that ties all the other Rp's together. Thing is, there are two character types for the RP. I will not reveal much BUT! Huge but here. One of the character type - your character has to have died in another RP and is no longer in play in any other RP. (This also means that for the duration of the RP you cannot replay the character anywhere or it will be removed.) I thinking of getting together some clips and making a video instead of using an opening image for the original OOC. So, if you are interested, pm me the dead character - they might make an appearance in the video if I go through with it.

Aiden was never much for politics or choosing sides. He would opt to consider the opinions and ideals of each and then ignore them both and go his own way. No point dwelling on the things you cannot change.
History: His mother was a beautiful artist and model. His father a fit rigid Alliance military man. They were contrasting opposites but a loving happy and wealthy couple. Aiden tested their relationship as a slightly problematic child, this caused tension as they both had very different ideas on raising a child. Still they persevered and compromised.
When he was in his early teens their differences proved too much and they finally amicably split. Career's played a large part of this decision. His father worked hard for his promotion while his mother grew faintly famous and travelled for her art. Both were torn in different directions and robbed of free time. Priorities grew askew and the family unit fell apart.
This could be a contributing factor to why Aiden has no career ambitions or interests.
Aiden, despite his his lack of boundaries, still excelled at school. He had some good friends and got along with others well. It was after his schooling, going against his fathers wishes that Aiden enrolled himself into a companions academy. Tuition was his fathers last gift before cutting all ties with his disowned son. Two years later Aiden dropped out and ran away. He visited his parents once since then and never again.
He did the odd job here and there just to get by but had become fixated on exploring the verse and seeing all that there is to be seen. Always looking for that next ship out of here. That next ticket to adventure, that reason to keep moving, to keep running.
When ever he begins to settle down the fear of missing out, of something better being just around the corner, drives him to move on and never stay still. He doesn't know what he is looking for but so far this lifestyle of up's and down's has suited him well.

@Dark Light Okay, a few things - you have as a fear - Being out in the black - how is that going to play out? Fears are things that truly drive a person to distraction or even mad. Make them beyond on edge. So if he gets on a ship, how is he going to cope with that? And claustrophobia?

Quick note - Apparently all hell has broken loose at Sigils work - So for the next week or to two he is on extended extension in all of my RP's that he is in - He should be able to post but he might be pushing counters and then some. Irregardless of how kinky or persuasive his partners have been Aiden absolutely refuses to let himself be tied up.
Another of his contradictory complexes is his fear of a deep emotional attachment and that of being stranded all alone and disliked. This is a perpetual perplexing problem for him as he likes having the charade of not caring or being bothered by others opinions.
Aiden always hated being left alone even as a child. Due to his parents busy schedules it happened quite a bit. An abusive sitter only further cemented this phobia. Another life scarring moment was when he reluctantly dropped into the Londium sewers to rescue a crying kitten. He only reached into the small tunnel with his torso when a sudden flood of water rushed him. His friend quickly jumped out to safety leaving Aiden to be pushed head first down the sloping tunnel into total confining darkness. Stuck on his belly he couldn't even kneel or turn. Arms stuck out in front of himself he screamed his lungs dry as water continued to wash over him.
It was 7 hours later before he was finally rescued and he had already developed a severe case of pneumonia.

Aiden was never much for politics or choosing sides. He would opt to consider the opinions and ideals of each and then ignore them both and go his own way. No point dwelling on the things you cannot change.
His father was alliance but that neither sways him to or away from their side. Aiden, in all his life so far, has never been put in a position where he had to pick one side over the other. Even if he had to for one situation it would probably be only for that situation.
Both sides have made mistakes. Both sides posses some good and horrible people. Both sides believe in what they are fighting for. If it were not this war then it would be another, that after all is human nature.
History: His mother was a beautiful artist and model. His father a fit rigid Alliance military man. They were contrasting opposites but a loving happy and wealthy couple. Aiden tested their relationship as a slightly problematic child, this caused tension as they both had very different ideas on raising a child. Still they persevered and compromised.
When he was in his early teens their differences proved too much and they finally amicably split. Career's played a large part of this decision. His father worked hard for his promotion while his mother grew faintly famous and travelled for her art. Both were torn in different directions and robbed of free time. Priorities grew askew and the family unit fell apart.
This could be a contributing factor to why Aiden has no career ambitions or interests.
Aiden, despite his his lack of boundaries, still excelled at school. He had some good friends and got along with others well. It was after his schooling, going against his fathers wishes that Aiden enrolled himself into a companions academy. Tuition was his fathers last gift before cutting all ties with his disowned son. Two years later Aiden dropped out and ran away. He visited his parents once since then and never again.
He did the odd job here and there just to get by but had become fixated on exploring the verse and seeing all that there is to be seen. Always looking for that next ship out of here. That next ticket to adventure, that reason to keep moving, to keep running.
When ever he begins to settle down the fear of missing out, of something better being just around the corner, drives him to move on and never stay still. He doesn't know what he is looking for but so far this lifestyle of up's and down's has suited him well.
