I'm mostly waiting on Medea's reply before posting again, since I want to do a single post for all my characters. If nothing happens by tomorrow after I get back from work, I'll be moving forward either way.

I have no problem slowing things down to posting once every other day.

Besides, every RP is fastest at the beginning. We just started on Sunday, so the enthusiasm is only to be expected. Posts should level out to a more practical level to balance IRL and other interests soon enough,

@AtomicNut Im not sure if this what is going on, but keep in mind that you should probably not try to keep up with every single character. With a party this size especially its going to be nigh impossible to keep track of everyone. Single out a few pairs of characters you generally want to interact with and stick to them for the most part, otherwise you will probably get bogged down.

This is not like in an actual novel where the story will leave a lot of characters behind for a long time before picking them up again, here everyone is getting a first person narration and it can be overwhelming.

For me, I just stick to skimming or reading the actual quotes of most characters, if I like them particularly or my characters cross paths with them a lot its only then I will go back and read their posts in detail. This also helps realism because you dont know exactly what is going on in everyone's head, just like your character would not.

@AtomicNut If a lot of people want to keep rough tabs on everyone the other thing we could do would be make an event outline board, similar to the character pair pool, but has a list of their major decisions, battles, and interactions on it.

@ADamnFiddle: Going to be honest, your dialogue text is hard to read and Lancer probably shouldn't know every detail of Medea's myth. I don't think he heard her name and the Fifth War hasn't happened in this timeline. ^^;

Medea's story, at least in the west, was something influential, which is the point I am getting at. Considering how knowledge works within the confines of the Throne, I don't think it would be impossible for him to 1) Recognize the name Medea [which was said aloud] and 2) know of Medea's actions from a tale that influenced Western Europe, which paints her as an evil witch. But I can change my post if it doesn't suit you.
