Personality: Adrian is a bit of a meek, timid individual who dislikes the spotlight and being the center of attention, even going off into his own space at times. That said, those whom approach him find him to be a kind, supportive type with a strong sense of honesty and an eye for small details. Despite his occasional meekness, he is rather patient and seems to enjoy listening to people's stories and their problems, even providing what advice he can, though he cannot always be sure how they will take it.

He strongly dislikes authority figures that abuse their power or bullies in general or those who try to crush other's dreams which can trigger him and cause him to say things he may later feel guilty about...but not always guaranteed to regret them either.

Biography: Adrian's life has not exactly what one would call "ideal" but it certainly wasn't bad either. He was born to a loving couple, had a few friends, and he was very good when it came to his school and his studies...though there were a few aspects of him that stood out from other kids. Where as some young men preferred sports or playing in the dirt, Adrian liked to help with planting gardens, knitting, and baking, something that he got mocked for by his peers which damaged his self-esteem in the long term. On top of that, he loved cute things and shows meant for girls which only added to his embarrassment.Although his parents supported his interests and tastes, it was obvious the public would likely look at him as a creep, so he kept them a secret.

Another thing is that as he grew up, he began to see the growing corruption in certain circles of power which helped inspire his dream of being a writer, reporter or some individual who stood up for equal rights and freedom of speech, that people were free to be who they were comfortable as and not what society expected of them....that was the plan until the day he gained his powers...

What would he use them for? Would he run and hide at the thought of having to fight others like him? Or would he stand up and be like the heroes from his comic books? And make a real difference? Only time will tell...

Name: Darren Reed

Appearence: young and lean with a hardened face, muscular from time in the military, a mop of shaggy hair protrudes from his head in every which way, his eyes are tired and seem to always be watching something. He commonly wears a beanie, flannel shirt unbuttoned and plain white or grey tee underneath, on his lower body he wears workers pants, with shavings of wood seemingly everywhere, and a tough belt around his waist, on his feet are either lace up sneakers or construction boots.

Age: 23
Personality: he is a laid back underachiever who would always crack a joke whenever or wherever he deems it necessary. He walks with a straight back with his hands in his pockets, almost so straight that you would think he was about to fall backwards. In his hand is a laser pointer which he uses to point at things, usually he's just spinning it between his fingers. Whenever greeting someone he would either finger gun them in an attempt to look like an idiot, if not he would "do it the old kiwi way" nodding upwards signifying a greeting.

Biography: his childhood is hazy with few memories of his father and his mother and various mistakes made, nothing serious as to impact his life but to make him regret decisions. His teenage memories, however, are clear as day, remembering his first day in highschool with a crappy buzz cut and baggy clothing. He remembers always wanting to join the military, training each day at the school gym and running the track outside but not joining any clubs or sports teams, eventually he was forced into the track team by one of his friends who had died later in the war on terror. At eighteen he joined the military hoping to be like his ancestors in the world wars and Cold War, as said before, his friend had died bleeding out while trapped within a collapsed house. With shrapnel in his back and a broken arm, three years later Darren left the military and recovered in a local hospital, after seeing a psychologist every few days he realised he could not go back to the "front" and went to university like the so called "others", a word for those who weren't in the military. He studied linguistics with the pay he accumulated from serving, soon he would need to earn more so after a year he went into construction, it was a boring life in his eyes... that was until the event.

@duskshine749It's half of what Dark Light said and also because yes, he has Immature Personality Disorder and ADD. So, hyperactive man-child who has difficult distinguishing what's right and what's wrong. SO, he does need constant watching and looking after.
