Im not entirely following how these time skips work. Are actions doing the rest of the night implied when time skip ends or in that we can write about that time period up until the "continium" is reestablished?

OK, since the time skip has been made and the website isn't lagging to hell, I'll start writing my post now, shouldn't take too long. :)

Looks great, everything seems to be in order, il just let @Pilatus give it a look before you post it over to CS and join IC.

and summery. OK.

So first skip was general intros, nothing too major, general set up and hints to the larger planned events coming up.

our first big event was the jazz night crashed by trio of the richest assholes ever to walk the earth, fire alarms, someone was nearly drugged, and general chaos ensured. Bob their assitiant is now wnated by the cops in a city wide warrent. He now trying to be evacuated to canada.

we had some music, abit of dancing then came the chaos, so that night ended up dramatically. though a crush began, a couple and a few other relationships and freindships found a start.

Next up was a free, that one was not as dramatic though and chance for charecter building, expanding on things started at jazz night.

lastly, where we are now is the winter time ball, and thats about coming to a close, we started skip firday evening and started up event, street party etc. big city costume party that has now moved to the city hall ball room, all the food and drink paid for by the mayor.

a bunch of said rich assholes, abd bikers tried to pay a visit before they got redirected by a cunning marshal, the even was fairly clam then, mostly interactions.

Phase two was lalter evening, about 1-2 hours after. we had are duet by the pinao reuniting old freinds, someone colapsed and needed first aid, general intros and interaction, advancement on bob plotlines and paige and lupes past.

next planned is late eveining fri to early aftertoon sat. so a aftermath, we also have a big set up for the city grandprix that will book end chapter one and laying groundwork for chapter two.

Theres been a fair few events but tons of opportunity too, tons of life left to live and lots of ideas to explore.
This is not a perfect summery but 275 posts is alot to cover.

A time skip is like a cut to a new scene. So if you do want you can sum up previous actions and thoughts in your post or solely concentrate on new scene, or a mix of both you are more than welcome to go with either.

So, there's abit of room for you to takw things how you feel best fits at the time.

Your more than welcome to describe how your night had gone like you have attended the entire night, we welcome different writing styles within sense. :)

Keeping an eye on this RP still. Bit dry on actual ideas, though. The character ideas I had have been taken already and I dislike making duplicates. So,

1. Are there any people in the [Char] tab who are no longer active or have dropped out so I can consider taking up that role, and
2. Are there any unfilled roles that people here would like to see?

Yes. we skipped. time skip is now active. current time zone is now midnight to lunchtime. any time you can use, please be clear when you are as such though :)

We have not had anyone ask to take over a charecter so i will have to ask @Pilatus and work out what we want to do regarding that.

2, if you find a idea and that player is quiet, then yes you could make your charecter take that role, we do have abit of ability to take some similar roles and crossover to some degree.

@Pilatus I was thinking an off-duty soldier, paramedic, or police officer. Seems like we already have two police force players and a soldier and at least one doctor in training, so I'm not sure where to go. Which is why I'd like to know if there are any roles that you or someone else would like to see that don't exist yet.

What about coast guard. Seach and rescue?

I already know what a VRS building looks like, how it's organized, what the gear looks like, standard protocols, etc. so I would be able to RP that a bit more accurately that the Coast Guard, which doesn't seem like it'd be too relevant in a major metropolitan city.

Hmmm.

The city has a main river and such, so there's always working for a smaller water rescue service, also sea planes use the river as part of deadalus Airlines.

Maybe not full coast guard but we have room for a water rescue team who serve the main river and nearby waterways.

They would fit for a river based seach and rescue service. There'd also a small marina who Mantaims a few smaller boats.

I wouldn't call the coast guard irrelevant. It's just something we don't use a lot right now. The ocean is just off map to the west. I like the boat idea though.
