@Nallore@BlueSky44@FantasyChic@mnkee@LadyRunic@Dragoknighte@KazAlkemi

Hello everyone! I just did a massive overhaul of our path system, as well as our skills and our CS. Please read through the Path System and Cultural Skills sections to see what's changed. Then, once you've done that, please take the following actions to update your character sheet:

1. Everyone Please look at the modified CS code and edit in your sections for Culture, Cultural Skills, and Alignment.
2. Everyone Fill in your character's alignment and culture.
3. Everyone Tag @Morose to receive your character's revised skill listings.
4. Everyone Edit in the skills to reflect what @Morose told you
5. @LadyRunic - Please let me know if you want to have Rhys cross path between one of the new Rogue options and Ordinary Wizard. If you'd like to do that, you need to let me know within 48 hours, as I will need to revise his skills.
6. @mnkee@KazAlkemi - Since the Runaway path no longer exists, please look at the paths listed and pick the one you think matches your character the best. I can think of at least 2-3 paths now existing that would likely fit your characters better. Tag me what one you've picked and I can revise your skills for you. As a thank you for having to deal with your original path being scrapped, you'll get a bonus skill added. You need to do this within 48 hours.
7. If anyone else is interested in cross pathing, please let me know.

I will be updating Arya, Nera, and Myrus shortly so you all can see how it'll look.

List of Alignments

Lawful Good "The Crusader"
A LG character acts as a good person is expected or required to act. They combine a commitment to oppose evil with the discipline to fight relentlessly. Tells the truth and keeps their word, helps those in need and speaks out against injustice. A LG character hates to see the guilty go unpunished.

Neutral Good "The Benefactor"
A NG characters does the best that a good person can do, they are devoted to helping others. It means doing good without bias for or against order and law.

Chaotic Good "The Rebel"
A CG character acts as their conscience directs them with little regard for what others expect. They make their own way but are kind and good still. They believe in goodness and right but has little use for laws and regulations. They hate it when people try to intimidate others and tell them what to do, and they follow their own moral compass which doesn't necessarily agree with society.

Lawful Neutral "The Judge"
A LN character acts as law, tradition, or a personal code directs them. Order and organization are paramount to them. They believe in personal order and live by a code of standar, or may believe in order for all and favor a strong organized government.

Neutral "Undecided"
A N character does what seems like a good idea. Doesn't feel strongly one way or another. Most characters exhibit a lack of conviction or bias rather than commitment. They act naturally without prejudice or compulsion.

Chaotic Neutral "Free Spirit"
A CN character follows his whims. Individualist first and last, he values his own liberty, but doesn't strive to protect others' freedom. Avoids authority and resents restrictions. Generally can be considered unpredictable, but their behavior isn't totally random.

Lawful Evil "Dominator"
Methodically takes what he wants within the limits of his code of conduct, not caring who gets hurt. Cares about tradition, loyalty, and order, but not freedom, dignity or life. Plays by the rules but without mercy or compassion. Comfortable in a hierarchy, would like to rule but will serve as well. Condemns others based on race and religion.

Neutral Evil "Malefactor"
Does whatever they can get away with. They are out for themselves and shed no tears for those that they kill, whether for profit, sport, or convenience. No love of order and holds no illusion that following laws, traditions, or codes would make them any better. Will kill in order to get what they want.

Chaotic Evil "Destroyer"
Does whatever their greed, hatred, and lust for destruction drive them to do. Hot-tempered, vicious, arbitrarily violent, and unpredictable. Simply out for whatever they can get, they are ruthless and brutal. If they are committed to spread evil and chaos, they are even worse. They are disorganized and their plans are haphazardly constructed. They can be made to work together, but their leaders only last as long as they can stop any assassination attempts on their lives.

@Morose Okay, I edited in what I needed to. I chose the Land of Long Nights for Lyra's culture and then the Warrior path with specifically the Knight/Dame role.

@mnkee For Lyra -
Please update her position to say: Knight of the Castle (as she will be knighted shortly IC)
Here is how her skills should now look....

General Skills:
  • City Knowledge - (the Castle) - the knowledge of where to find various shops and other locations in the Castle without great trouble.
  • Cooking - The ability to prepare a dish without poisoning oneself or others.
  • Swimming - The ability to swim great distances without drowning or excessively tiring. This includes being able to tread water for up to five hours.
  • Boating - The ability to pilot a small water craft, such as a rowboat or canoe, without capsizing.
  • Fast - The ability to go extended periods of time without eating and still be able to perform required tasks.
  • Bribery - The ability to successfully identify what another person would want in exchange for an otherwise unlikely to obtain service.
  • Persuasion - The ability to convince someone of something, whether it is true or false.
  • Deception - The ability to lie to another person and successfully deceive them.

  • Olde Tongue - The user has complete fluency, able to read, write, and communicate in the Olde Tongue of the Land of Long Nights. This skill can be used as a makeshift mythos skill, as the user will be familiar with famous texts written in the Olde Tongue, such as the Prose Edda.
  • New Nordic - The user has complete fluency, able to read, write, and communicate in the language of the Land of Long Nights. This skill can be used as a makeshift oral storytelling skill, as most of the traditions of the Land of Long Nights are told through stories.

Occupational Skills:
  • Sword Fighting - Proficiency with a blade longer than 14 inches in combat, including the general rules of etiquette for dueling.
  • Knife Fighting - The ability to use a bladed weapon no longer than 14 inches in combat without unintentionally injuring oneself.

  • Stamina - The ability to sustain prolonged physical or mental effort
  • Brawling - The ability to excel in general forms of hand-to-hand combat in a fight. This does not include proficiency in using weapons, such as a knife, but may give the user a slight edge.
  • Perception - The ability to notice things that others may overlook. This does not include items and beings of Magykal origin. For that, see Sense Magyk.

@Dragoknighte: Atkin's cultural skills....(Also, cultural skills should be above occupational)

City Knowledge (the Castle) - The knowledge of where to find various shops and other locations in the Castle without great trouble.
Castle Legends - The knowledge of the (mostly) oral legends and tales of the Castle, including the near drowning of Princess Esmerelda, the haunting of Snake Slipway, and much more.
Position Mimicry - The knowledge of how to pretend to be someone at the Castle you are not. For example, the user may don a purple cloak and wear their hair down to mimic the appearance of the ExtraOrdinary Wizard - or go dressed in a white tunic to pass as a Physician.
