Overall, pretty good. It might be just me, but the image seems broken. I would recommend listing out the weaknesses with bullets, and I'd encourage you to add two more things that he's good at, just so he doesn't start super disadvantaged. The most notable thing is the Power section, since rather than have a power he has a companion, who has the powers. If you like, we could rework things just a little. You could keep track of his Pokemon separately, not with their own sheets of course, but just in a little list either in or after the Inventory section with their moves and weaknesses. For Bede's Power, we could lean into how things work in the Pokemon games themselves, so that he isn't totally disadvantaged just by being a normal guy.
How about a Power called Pokemon Trainer, which means two things: as long as he has a Pokemon out and fighting on his behalf, and damage taken by Bede will be dealt to his Pokemon instead. And if his Pokemon's health is depleted, it will always faint instead of dying, and be returned to his Pokeball, which would have to be destroyed while the Pokemon is fainted to kill it. This is just spitballing, but I think it would be fair given how things work in Pokemon.
Changed the picture. Is it showing up now?
I wasn’t sure what to include with the things he’s good at since the games focus so much on battling? Maybe I could include raising and caring for Pokémon?
I’m going to add the Pokémon Trainer power. I figured as he levels up he would gain additional Pokemon, or the Pokémon he has get stronger and evolves and stuff.
He could probably trade in pokedollars for gold, or whatever other currency is trading in the area he is in. Or some places might accept more "modern" currency like that. Also just as a suggestion while I'm here in the OOC tab, probably could expand something like "caring for Pokemon" into "caring for animals." After all maybe he could expand into yokai, or tamagotchi, or tem tems, or any other such creature. Sky's the limit!
Personality: Elvis has an easygoing personality and often takes a very big-picture approach towards situations, frequently using the phrase "Don't sweat the details." While he is of noble birth, Elvis does not act in a manner usually expected of nobility, he has a habit of being somewhat vulgar with his language and a bit contextually inappropriate too, however he also frequently has rather wise and insightful things to say.
As a dedicated scholar Elvis has a sense of commitment to his task in unravelling the mystery surrounding the book he inherited from his mentor, and his strong curiosity that drives him in all that he does, but his philosophy is that it doesn't matter what else he gets up to along the way so long as he completes his task at the end.
Related to that mentality, Elvis has a kind heart and is ever willing to break from his task to help those in need, especially when the task is related but even when it isn't. He rarely holds grudges, only doing so in the most heinous of situations but Elvis is a fundamentally amiable person who always prefers to see the similarities between people before the differences and to get along with others whenever possible.
:As a bearer of the Black Mage asterisk, Elvis has the knowledge to use staves, and daggers effectively. While he doesn't wield most other weaponry as good, Elvis can make use of them as well as shields. Black Mage Skill
Inherited Magecraft:With the power of his mentor's asterisk, Elvis excels at the employment of spellcasting particularly with offensive magic. He bolsters a high aptitude for magical attacks and a base level understanding of how to defend against magical attacks. Black Mage Skill
My biggest stump to jump over is wether Asterisks would constitute as a power or a specialty because they are interchangeable. Elvis just had more experience as a Black Mage at the start of Bravely Default II. Asterisks are Jobs and each job has proficiencies and abilities, and like Elvis I probably don't need to currently 'sweat the details' but ya know it's good to ask.
@Lugubrious Hm, thank you that sounds good. I'll say he starts as a Black Mage and has access to Freelancer like all the characters in BD II do. In his possession he has Lady Emma's book as well which uses Asterisks to see their past memories and such. Would that be alright as it is his whole goal still to figure out the book. Thus find other Asterisks..Even here in the World of Light.

That should be fine as a character sort of thing, since it doesn't seem like it offers any super big advantage.
Now that your guy's in the Characters tab, we can talk about an entry point. I usually do it in PMs, but since we've got several prospective joiners, I can give you the low-down right here:
In our in-game 'yesterday', everyone had a pretty busy day. In the early hours of the morning Blue Team took out the Orphan of Kos, escaped back to Limsa Lominscuttle Town, and essentially took the rest of the day off in a nice beach episode. Meanwhile Yellow Team spent the afternoon climbing Split Mountain, flying back down, and fighting the Red Eye boss. As 'today' begins, most of Blue Team is meeting inside Alcamoth, the floating futuristic citadel that's the home base for the campaign to defeat Galeem. Yellow Team ended up spending the night in (or just outside) Gerudo Town in the Sandswept Sky. We've also got White Team currently embroiled in events on Dragonspine in the Frozen Highlands, but I wouldn't say that's a valid entry point right now. So the choices are:
Bede has been in a town or other settlement near Alcamoth, and met one of the mercenary teams exploring the world. Maybe he was looking for a way out, but those under Galeem's Influence tend to stagnate. He might have been curious and questioned the mercenaries, or requested their help, but the end result would be that he became interested in joining them and ended up back in Alcamoth, where he would be freed of Galeem's influence and then able to join Blue Team as they have a morning meeting in Mercenary HQ
Bede happened to be in the Sandswept Sky, and is either staying in Kara Kara Bazaar at the oasis outside Gerudo Town, or ended up there just this morning. From that point he'd probably take note of Yellow Team, and maybe eavesdrop on their conversation in the saloon, thereby learning of the train station in Gerudo Town that could take him anywhere in the World of Light, prompting him to tag along
Bede could be inside Nyakuza Metro, the giant indoor station that serves as the hub for the aforementioned trains, and Yellow Team will meet him when they arrive.
Personally, I think either of the latter two options would be a bit cleaner-cut, and if you picked the last one you wouldn't even need to think up a reason for him to be in the desert. Lots of people use the metro to get places, after all.
Rita started as something of a blank slate, containing blind military obedience and little else. Work from her friends and the influence of fusion has filled this out somewhat. Her main defining trait that is all her own would be curiosity, the ship girl always eager for new experiences and information. She also has developed quite the sweet tooth for candy and desserts, but when it comes to main meals will actively try to taste test anything and everything she can.
Rika cares deeply about her friends, a fair bit about other former abyssals, but is a bit dissociative when it comes to strangers, and has basically zero qualms about using violence against them. Generally won’t jump to said violence without orders or a direct threat however.
After absorbing Brachydios her personality has gotten more assertive with a hotter temper, and an always-outdoor voice.
After absorbing Mikuma her personality has gotten more quiet (basically evening out with Brachydios) and obliging.
After absorbing the Pacific Princess, she has become somewhat more solemn and strict.
Rika started out as an average young woman with pale skin, a black bob cut, and eyes whose colors are hidden by an orange flame aura wafting off of them when calm, and a streaming streak of neon blue when she is exerting herself. Her arms have two large head-like gauntlets strapped to them, which are connected by cables to ports on her upper back. These used to be unremovable, but work with a fusion cutter freed her from them, and now they are held in place by clasps.
Rita started off with a bear minimum black bikini, but swiftly acquired an actual outfit from Limsa Lominscuttle Town consisting of a sturdy pair of black buckled boots adored her feet, while her legs and waist were covered in a red knee length skirt, while her upper half was wrapped in a black jacket studded with brass buttons
Brachydios: The host has gotten taller and more muscular, with more pronounced fangs, a large and bright green tongue, and red eyes. Her hair is dark blue and very spiky, enough so that it’s hard to wear hats, and from the left side of her forehead rises a single, thick horn, flanged like a mace. The black parts of her outfit now feature blue scale padding, and the skirt exhibits equidistant blades. Her gauntlets resemble Brachydios heads, complete with slime horns for punching, inladen mouths of freaky human teeth, and built-in cannons within the mouths.
Mikuma: The host’s spiky dark blue hair has gotten longer and more flowing with pronounced streaks of white, with a single bun in the back on top of her hair. Her skin tone is no longer Abyssal pale. From the right side of her forehead extends a conical, flesh-colored horn. Her padded black jacket is now undone, and rests over a white halter top and elegant white sleeves. Her skirt is shorter and the blades are smaller. She also has white stockings and red ship-shaped sandals. One of her gauntlets has become a heavy Brachydios-head rifle with an underslung blade.
Pacific Princess: The host is still taller yet more slender, with shorter hair that’s become white throughout except for a few inches of dark blue toward the tips. Her red eyes now have lavender splashes around the pupils. Her black jacket has become more of a blue-bladed cape and has gained a white interior, which is a design duplicated as coattails that descend from her shirt, which is now more of a formal tank top. Her sandals are now heeled shoes, as well.
Then she acquired a Fancy sundress which she has donned while keeping her jacket and boots equipped.
Background: Once a member of the Abyssal Fleet, Rika has barely any memory of her time as a nameless grunt among their ranks, either before the world of light or after. Her first real memories are from after the magikoopa Kamek captured her and then freed her from galee’s influence, and by extension the fleet’s indoctrination. The koopa had intended to interrogate her on the nature of the fleet’s forces and ability to resurrect their fallen ships, but Sakura having freed the comparative and more knowledgeable seaplane tender Bella at the same time made this rather redundant.
She ended up being more or less just adopted into the Koopa Troop, with first Kamek and then also Bowser taking responsibility for her wellbeing as a new and valued member/minion of their crew. She’s been palling around with them ever since.
Specialty: Battle Cruiser: On the water, Rika is a highly maneuverable weapons platform, gliding across the surface of the waves while unleashing vast amounts of firepower. On land she is much the same, though her mobility is limited to foot slogging. Level: 5 Experience: -////////////////////////////////////////////////// (0/50) Powers:
Deployable Reconnaissance Planes: Rika can deploy a pair of remote control plane sized Abyssal Reconnaissance Planes, one from each gauntlet. While these little planes do have a weak pistol grade gun on them, their main advantage is the fact that they relay scouting and targeting information back to Rika. The gauntlets can repair/build replacement planes if provided relevant components, such as from a dispenser, but only have the housing and coms bandwidth to support one each.
Blastscourge(Brachydios): allows her to exude a slime from her horns and gauntlets. Once activated by her saliva, the slime will explode after a few seconds if parted from her, or if she’s very angry, on contact with a target.
Ship Shaped(Mikuma): gives a set of rigging in the form of two arms that terminate in hull-blades, with a tri-barrel cannon emplacement on each elbow. As long as the rigging is equipped, the host can skate across the surface of water.
Moby Dick(Pacific Princess): allowing the host to spend a great deal of life force to summon a White Whale. The White Whale is very strong, especially its jaws, and can follow basic orders, including firing its cannons. The White Whale, once summoned, is a physical being and will only disappear if killed or a new one is summoned. It also must move around manually.
Arm Cannons: Rika has a set of massive gun gauntlets strapped to her arms. Despite their weight and her less than muscular arms she can still hold them up thanks to antigravity modules built into them and powered via cables attached to her back (she also uses these to help walk on land and get some floaty jumps too). One houses a 8inch Triple Gun and the other a 6inch Twin Rapid Fire Gun. They also have impressive ammo stores that defy their conventional size. As these are functionally part of her, they can be modified by fusions.
Ship Girl Physiology: Rika can glide across, or rather just above, liquid surfaces, able to hover to and fro via just her will. She also has the inhuman vitality and resilience needed to be able to take at least a few hits from ship girl grade weapons.
Military Subordinate: Rika was a more or less unthinking soldier as part of the abyssal fleet and while she is her own person now, she still has the instincts from back then. Rika is a decent enough fighter at even just an instinctual level, and has a knack for following orders and plans swiftly and efficiently.
Stronger Together(Maw): The experience within the Maw has brought her closer together both with those that shared the experience with her. She gains increased confidence and constitution when in close proximity to other survivors of the Maw, knowing that they can trust their backs to be watched, and going the extra mile to make sure they can do the same.
Famine(Maw): While hungry, gain speed boost and stamina regain that ramp up the hungrier you are
Born yesterday: Rika has only been an actual person for a handful of days and is as a result currently going through a crash course on how to be a person. Her main mentors being the self declared bad guys of the Koopa Troop is probably skewing her perspectives and priorities quite a bit too. Very susceptible to being tricked and outmaneuvered in social situations.
Beached: Rika is a ship in the shape of a girl, and was not built to be on land. She is relying on the antigravity in her gauntlet’s to keep herself upright while on land, and those failing will massively cripple her maneuverability.
Aqua Bane(Brachydios): giving her a mild weakness to water-based or aspected weapons and attacks plus a more severe one to ice
Little Sister(Mikuma): making her more susceptible to intimidation and mental attacks.
No Surrender(Pacific Princess): Rika is unwilling to accept defeat
Supernatural separation anxiety (Maw): If unity is strength then separation is weakness and the Maw has taught that weakness will not be tolerated. Those with this curse become increasingly agitated, nervous and jumpy without someone around to watch their back as the horrors of the Maw supernaturally claw their way out of the depths of their memories to assail them with reminders of their vulnerability and visions of false horrors in the shadows. Most extreme when out on their own, but even becoming separated slightly in a battle can cause the fear to start creeping in. (Minions, such as summons or pokemon, provide only a coping mechanism rather than a solution to this problem).
John Bradford Aka Central: Head of Logistics and right hand man of the Commander of Xcom
Anatoly Cherdenko: Time traveling assassin, Premier of the Ussr, probably presently escaping to the one place not corrupted by capitalism.
Kane: The enigmatic leader of the Brotherhood of Nod, self-proclaimed prophet, and most magnificent of bastards
Souls x 400: A sort of ephemeral quantity bound to oneself, immaterial and conferring no burden. Souls, sen, runes, echoes, scrap, geo, widgets, haze...whatever you call them, they are a universal currency that, if not usable outright, can at least be exchanged most anywhere. But beware: death will drop one’s whole sum on the ground for others to collect
Poison Card - When applies to a weapon, allows the weapon to build up and then inflict poison on struck targets. Applied to her rifle, causing it's bullets and bayonet to inflict a stacking poison dot.
Antidote A dependable cure for poison, if you can get past the taste
Fancy sundress: exactly what it says on the tin. No special properties other than being cute.
Dated Sunglasses: a pair of dark sunglasses reminiscent of those from a certain fill series. When the wear dodges these produce an invisible field 5ft around the user, which slows hostile projectiles by 30%, making it easier to avoid getting shot. 500 souls remaining
Treats: assorted goodies for the sweet toothed ship girl
Game Origin: Pokemon: Sun/Moon, Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon
Guzma is the ambitious and charismatic leader of Team Skull, the local baddies in the Alola region. He leads his pack of cronies and vandalists who rather than threatening the fate of humanity and Pokemon-kind, created inconveniences for law enforcement, island captains, and Kahunas. Team Skull is much closer in similarity to a gang rather than an actual team. Team Skull is formed completely of young adults who failed the island challenge, similar in origin to their leader. The group is often mocked for its lack of direction, weird poses, and stereotypical gang behavior.
Guzma is an incredibly brash and erratic man, his emotions often resulting in mania or outbursts of anger. He is also known as a sore loser, often behaving irrationally at a loss. He is often the type of person to over-emphasize his plans, sharing details directly with his lackeys and enemies. Despite all of this, he is a great leader as he managed to unite hundreds under the simple ideology of creating chaos.
Guzma also exerts a lot of confidence in himself, however, under the surface, Guzma lacks that confidence and created Team Skull so that people would begin to treat him seriously as a trainer. Once a trainer himself, Guzma was overshadowed by Kuikui, who in their youth was his rival. How he speaks and carries himself also heavily represents a stereotypical gangster, like how he walks with a slouch, talks in slang, and uses childish language like "stupid" and "dumb" frequently.
In the shady house located at the very north end of the Team-Skull-operated Po Town, clamboring and bustling could be overheard as many grunts worked diligently. Their infamous leader, Guzma sat in his "throne room" as Grunts moved in and out, sounds of partying and rap music heard in the main room. Guzma tapped his fingers irritatedly as one of his Grunts spoke. "I just dun understand boss, you had us searching for as much of these Z-Crystals as possible and now you want us to give them to that cop?"
"For the last time. He ain't a cop." Guzma seethed at the clueless Grunt who might as well have been scratching his head. "And yea, I'm keeping that little rat's end of the deal since he beat me fair n' square." He tapped his fingers impatiently as the grunt processed his logic. "Ugh, this one's too dumb. Has anyone seen Plumeria?! I need someone with some brain to do this for me." Guzma shouted at his punk-dressed lackeys in the room, who looked just as confused as the initial Grunt. "Ouch boss..." The Grunt muttered sadly as he slouched his shoulder at his boss's insult to his intelligence.
Just then, another one of the members walked in through the door, using their shirt as a sort of baggy, holding what was clearly more of the crystals Guzma was trying to get rid of. "Oh for the love of..." He whispered to himself as he slapped his forehead, dragging his hand down his face, pulling his eyelid downward. "Hey boss, I got some more of them Z-Crystals you asked for!" The Grunt said, clearly pleased with his work, unaware of the upset Guzma just a few feet away.
"No, no, NO!!" Guzma shouted as the Grunt stopped speaking. "We need to get rid of them, not get more!" He slammed his fist into his throne, clearly leaving a dent in the armrest of the purple cushioned chair, a loud thud moving around the room. He pointed at the new Grunt. "Go find Plumeria. I'll have her sort this whole disaster out." He said in a facepalm still, grouchily leaning on the chair as the Grunt embarrassingly poured the Z-Crystals into the small briefcase and left the room to find the admin, Plumeria.
"The rest of you get out before I throw something." He warned as the gangsters all piled out of the room in a sloppy single file line. In the silence, Guzma huffed to himself as he bounced his foot up and down, impatiently awaiting the arrival of his second-in-command, Plumeria. Upset with the irritating dumbness of his underlings and lose of a Pokemon battle, he waited in the dark room.
It took a decent while before the door flung open, revealing a thin and tan woman with pink and yellow strands of hair who entered the vandalized room. "What's going on boss?" She said simply. Hearing her speak seemed to simply cause Guzma to destress, able to now stand being in the room with someone. "I need you to have a grunt take this case to Nanu." Plumeria seemed to be understanding and immediately began picking up some of the loose crystals and placing them back in the case. "I take it you lost to the kid again?" She asked as she closed the case up, picking it up. Guzma seemed to huff slightly, displeased with the mention of his loss. "Yeah." Guzma grunted as Plumeria began to leave the room.
Just then, one of the grunts from downstairs burst suddenly into the room, seemingly panicked. "Oh, good. Hey, Numskull, take this to-" The Grunt cut her off. "Sorry Big Sis- But boss, you gotta come see this." Upset again, Guzma huffed as The Grunt clearly didn't elaborate enough to his liking. "See what?" He tapped his foot as the grunt now ran up to him and pulled on his arm. "There's no time! Something's happening!" Guzma slapped the Grunts hand off of him as he stood and followed the Grunt downstairs, stomping as he followed. "This better be good." He said as he opened the door.
As he looked outside, for once in his life, Po Town wasn't shrouded by clouds and fog, but instead, a bright yellow sky, with an entity that looked like an angel in the distance. Guzma stared dumbfounded at the beams of light that scattered across the skies, moving at rapid speeds. Unsure of what to do, Guzma stood still as the town of Grunts stared in horror. The light ravaged everything in its path. Just then, one of the beams hurdled towards Po Town. Continuing to stare, Guzma muttered a final "What the..." Before he fell prey to the light himself, along with the rest of his Grunts and town...
Specialty: Pokemon Team Leader and Trainer
Pokemon Trainer: Whenever Guzma takes damage, it is dealt on behalf of his Pokemon if they are presently fighting. Trained Pokemon will always faint instead of dying. Effects of spirits are transferred to his Pokemon.
Pokemon Trainer - Coming from the world of Pokemon, Guzma is naturally proficient in capturing, training, and commanding Pokemon.
Strong Bond - Guzma grew up with his Pokemon, and as a result, has a strong bond with them, which naturally increases attack damage and precision.
Charismatic - It usually doesn't take much for Guzma to rile people up or get them to do what he wants. There's a reason he kept his spot at the top of Team Skull.
Bad Guy - Guzma is driven by the idea of creating chaos and confusion to those who oppose and mock him. Perhaps he can put this belief aside to free the world.
Erratic Behavior - There is never a dull moment. Guzma experiences moments of extreme emotional pulls and as a result, is not the most rational person.
Loud Mouthed - Always the first to spill the beans, Guzma is never one to entrust a secret or information with.
Arrogant - Guzma is incredibly stuck in his ways. It's better to pretend to agree with him than to invest time into an argument.
Loader- A heavy hitter and able to take to the skies with her grappling hook, the Loader is a mech-housed brawler with a modified body. Game of origin: Risk of Rain 2
Etienne - A monkey engineer who fashioned dart turrets onto drones. Game of Origin: Bloons Tower Defense 6
Cayde-6 - The Hunter sharpshooter with a heart of gold and jokes as dry as a desert. Game of Origin: Destiny
Z-Ring- A fancy stone ring that allows the trainer to command their pokemon to use Z-Moves. Guzma never learned how to use it
Buginium Z- A Z Crystal which when held by a Pokemon can teach the Pokemon a once-per-battle powerful bug-type attack. For some reason he has a lot of it...
PokeBalls- A Pokemon Trainer's staple item. Used to capture and summon Pokemon.
Roxas is a kind young man, much like the person he was born from. Though unlike him, he's a bit quicker to notice and pick up on things. He can also be a bit more wary of strangers, not being anywhere as quick to trust people he just met. He's still more than willing to help a stranger in need, though, especially if they're in some kind of danger. He prioritizes his friends above all else, and will become more quick-tempered and - at times - more ruthless toward anyone who threatens them. So while it may be a bit harder to gain his trust, once he does consider you a friend, Roxas will stay your friend through thick and thin.
If he's being perfectly honest with himself, Roxas would prefer not to have anything to do with the Keyblade and all the struggles that come with it. He and those closest to him have suffered through more than their share of struggles and heartaches and so deep down all Roxas really wants for he and his best friends to just be allowed to live their lives peacefully. Unfortunately, being one of the Keyblade's Chosen has a nasty habit of drawing one into situations they may not initially have any desire to partake in. That being said, despite preferring not to get involved with fighting, Roxas is still perfectly willing to do when its for a good enough reason.
The story of Roxas is a... complicated one to say the least. When a person's Heart is consumed by the darkness and converted into a Heartless, the body left behind can sometimes continue to go on with a will of its own. These beings, called Nobodies, lack a Heart and thus the capacity to feel emotions. At least at first. Given enough time, even a Nobody will begin to develop a Heart that serves as a pseudo replacement for the one that was lost.
Roxas is the Nobody of Sora, born at a time when Sora willingly allowed himself to become a Heartless to save his friends. But even among Nobodies, Roxas was still a strange case. Every other Nobody retains either the appearance or memories of the person they once were, sometimes both. Roxas, for reasons unknown to him, looked and sounded nothing like Sora and nor did he possess any memory at the time of his birth. However he did inherit Sora's ability to wield the Keyblade. And the person who found him saw this as a valuable opportunity.
Roxas was discovered by a fellow Nobody called Xemnas. When he found that Roxas could wield the Keyblade, Xemnas inducted him into Organization XIII as its thirteenth member, and even gave Roxas his name. Within the Organization, Roxas's job was to use the Keyblade to defeat Heartless and release the Hearts they had captured. This was in order for the Organization to achieve its stated goal: creating Kingdom Hearts using its power to become whole again.
He worked with individuals, but the one he latched onto the most was Number VIII, The Flurry of Dancing Flames - named Axel. A few days into his new life, a fourteenth member was inducted into the Organization, a girl named Xion. Trying to help her out the way Axel had initially helped him, Roxas invited her to hang out with them in between missions. The three bonded and became close friends over the course of nearly a year. But during this time, some strange things were happening with Roxas and Xion. During certain periods one or the other would find themselves weakened and unable to summon the Keyblade. And Xion herself later started acting more distant and distracted.
Roxas only learned later what was really happening. As it turned out, Xion was merely a puppet. A Replica capable of very accurately simulating human emotions and behavior. She was created as a backup plan in the event that Roxas ever turned against the Organization, as it very much needed the Keyblade in order to achieve its goal. Even Roxas himself began questioning the missions he was sent on and wondering if their stated goal was even the true aim of their leader. And things took a turn for the tragic when Xion learned the truth about herself, and further that she and Roxas would eventually have to return to the person they were both born out of. She would lash out, first against Axel and later against Roxas. But her true aim was simply to goad Roxas into striking her down in order to save himself.
As Xion lay dying in Roxas's arms, he still recalled the times he had spent with her and Axel. Sitting on top of that clock tower and eating those ice creams together. But then, she was gone. And when she was gone, so too was all memory of her. It was like she had been simply erased from ever existing. Roxas could now feel a great deal of pain and heartbreak but no longer could remember why. He decided it was high time he confronted Xemnas for answers, even if it meant he had to take the down the entire Organization to do it. Now possessing the power to wield two Keyblades, Roxas made a move toward his former home.
Before he could confront the Organization, Roxas was stopped by a cloaked stranger. He had been the one to tell Xion the truth, and now it seemed he was here for Roxas. Roxas refused to budge, and instead attacked the stranger. During their fierce fight, Roxas was able to overpower the boy and nearly won. But then, the boy seemed to transform into another form altogether and suddenly was much stronger. He took Roxas by surprise and knocked him out.
The next thing Roxas knew, he awoke in what he remembered as his home in Twilight Town. He quickly got dressed and ran outside to meet his friends at their usual spot. Unknown to him, what he was living in was little more than a virtual simulation. The memories he appeared to have now were implanted in order to keep him complacent. It seemed that the person he was born from was in the process of being restored, and that meant that Roxas needed to be kept in check for that to happen. After only six days, Roxas did eventually discover the truth. He confronted the man who had been keeping him in this virtual town, demanding to know the truth and to be set free. The man however just coldly callously told him that his time was up and that he needed to return to the person he came so that he may do what was needed to save many people. That was that, Roxas was trapped here with no way out. And no other choice but to accept his fate. He angrily lashed out at first, but realized that this person was the one whose memories he had been having dreams of lately. It was the remaining proof needed to confirm that man, harsh as he was, was telling the truth.
Looks like my summer vacation... is over. Roxas told himself as he finally returned to the Heart he had been born from. He remained there for some time, silently watching over the person's travels and struggles. Until one day, eventually, he finally had a way to return. It seemed the Organization was using Puppets as a way to allow Hearts to be transferred to other points in time. And as luck would have it, his Other Self's friends had managed to get their hands on one such vessel. That was what gave Roxas the opportunity he needed, and he returned in time to see his former superior about to strike down his two best friends.
"Hands off my friends." he had said, pointing one of his Keyblades at Xemnas in a threatening manner. With from Axel, his Other, and a newly restored Xion among many other new and old friends, Xemnas and the new Organization he had been aligned with was finally defeated for good. The trio was finally able to go back home, to Twilight Town. And while Roxas had believed that his struggles were finally behind him, something else was about come rippling through and threaten to tear it apart all over again.
Specialty: Mixed Attack (magic and physical)
Level: 1 Experience: 0/10
Dual Keyblades - The ability to wield two Keyblades simultaneously. Keyblades are sword like weapons shaped like a key that are able to open and close any lock, including the keyholes of worlds, which serve as the heart of said world and as a gateway through which Heartless can appear.
Adaptability - Roxas has been to many different worlds and has thus become quite capable of adapting to many environments for the purpose of maneuverability in combat.
Offensive Power - Wielding two Keyblades allows for a more stronger and more aggressive fighting style involving stringing together combo attacks that usually end with a harder hitting finisher.
Nobody - As a Nobody, Roxas possesses a degree of resilience against the Darkness and those who wield it. Most importantly it allows the use of Corridors of Darkness as a potential method of long distance travel, though it is unwise to rely too heavily upon them or especially take others through them as doing so could be harmful to their Hearts.
Aggressive Fighting Style - Dual wielding Keyblades may allow for powerful attacks, but this comes at the cost of having somewhat weaker defenses. This could potentially land Roxas into trouble if he finds himself overwhelmed by multiple opponents.
Quick Tempered - The value Roxas places in his friends can threaten to also make him a liability should those friends be endangered or threatened, often resulting in him angrily lashing out at someone he perceives to be threat to them.
Trouble Magnet - The very nature of the Keyblade habitually attracts the attention of less savory individuals who will more often than not try some scheme to take its power for themselves.
A very solid application, and welcome to World of Light! I'm glad to have you around. I can't find anything amiss with your sheet, so let me just say it's good to see Roxas on board. Go ahead and put the sheet in the Characters tab, and we can start to put together an introduction. Here's a few points to get you started:
There is a map in the Characters tab, as well as some other resources to help you get familiar with the World of Light if you like, but feel free to ask any questions!
Right now, there is an unusual abundance of places you could have Roxas show up, because at the moment about half the roster is using a continent-wide, space-warping train system called the Metro in order to find a spot close to Alcamoth, our team's home base. The options are as follows:
Aviary Biodome - a giant, somewhat alien ecosystem housed in an enormous biodome up in the arctic. There are lots of exotic creatures there, many dangerous, but not much civilization beyond the main base / tour center. Probably not the most sensible choice
Radlandia - A quirky coastal town in the Deep Blue Seaside, set in a part of the countryside that's a bit on the weirder/trippier side, with all sorts of strange people and phenomena. A decent choice
Queen's Station - a crossroads between a couple different underground biomes in a subterranean region. Also probably not the most sensible choice
Twilight Town - the next destination for the three-person team currently in Haven, as well as the closest stop to Alcamoth, making it the Metro contingent's actual goal, so it's bound to be the reunification point for both halves of the roster
We've also got people currently in Alcamoth, as well as in Dragonspine, but I'd rather avoid those choices for the time being
The World of Light has existed for about two months prior to the actual start of the RP, and we've gone through six IC days since then. This means that when you put Roxas somewhere, it could pay to think about where he's been and what he's been doing in that time. That said, if you choose Twilight Town, that's basically figured out for you
That's all I can think of for now. Hope it's not too intimidating, but either way, I'm here to help!
I'd say Twilight Town is the obvious choice to go with, so let's do that. Is it the KH Twilight Town or is it the Twilight Town from Paper Mario TTYD?
Sweet! It'll be the Kingdom Hearts one, although like everywhere it'll have some elements from other games mixed in. Maybe even ones from this other Paper Mario Twilight Town, who knows. If you're familiar enough with the area to be confident in making your own OP, then by all means. You could even sprinkle some other game elements around if you like, since everyone gets chances for creative liberty now and again. Or, I'd be happy to collab with you on an opening post, helping with the setting and other background characters.

I think a collab would be best. While I'm super familiar with Kingdom Hearts (and most of the stuff in Smash in general) there are some additions I'm definitely not as familiar with.
Fun fact: I was so dangerously close to applying with Goro Majima but decided against it because I'm not quite as familiar with Yakuza and also I'm not sure I would have been able to do that character justice, frankly. xD
