I wasn't thinking of hirelings or minions, but simply traveling companions. Vanhel the Untaught and Torsten Meier have a history together as sellswords. We weren't alone in our battles. A few of the others agreed to travel with us. They have the mind to leave us if they desire. They are under no obligation to remain in our company.

EDIT: Forget it. You already wrote it was just the two of us when we bumped into the Rhino-boar. Otherwise it would have been the five of us.
