Eckehart didn't get to see it, which is why he didn't elaborate on it in the post, but my off-the-cuff thoughts when I read it was that since it was a horn ring that it was a token of status and honor, the gold of it signifying a being of high stature to those bovine-esque folk. It won't dent or scratch under mundane means as far as she can tell, if for whatever reason she decides to try whacking things with it. Doesn't make sense for an accessory on a horned folk to not be made of sturdy stuff.

My apologies for not make a recent post. I had already positioned Rowan to move forward alongside Freya in my last post and didn't see her making any significant comments about what was happening around her.
