Fantasy Nations, Trait-based

Since RpG-original went down, I've wanted to start up a large-scale high-fantasy nation roleplay, so I figured better now than ever. It will take place on a continent capable of fitting in many different nations, and due to the player base I intend, I'll be looking for a co-GM to help me when the roleplay gets started.

The initial nation creation process will be trait-based, along the lines of Kadeaux's old nation roleplay system (for all you veteran players *wink wink*) with some clear differences; namely a greater degree of creative freedom, but a more strict ruleset to prevent arguments and raging (or so I'd like to believe).

I'm still working on the system, but I'd like to see what kind of interest this generates beforehand.

May be interested...also I have done a lot of NRP so I would be happy to help co-GM, depending on what you need, my art/design skills are, at best, basic.

Potentially interested, not going to beat around the bush, it depends on whether my own project gets running or not.
As for co gming, I can offer experience GMing advanced nation rps, as well as designing trait systems.

Alright, good to see some people here.

I'll reserve deciding on a co-GM till I have a better idea of how many people will participate/stay. For now I'd actually like to invite people to bring suggestions to the board. I've begun a google doc which shows the progress being made on the trait system (mostly just which traits in general are being created). If anyone has any ideas for nation archetypes, their subtraits, or general traits or flaws, please let me know. Thus far only two nation archetypes have been completed, though many more are in the works.

Beyond Wildling Nation and Empire, Clawed Kingdom (in which much of life is dominated by the presence of monsters, beasts, etc), Holy Kingdom (a theocracy), Gravedom (a nation dominated by undead and/or necromancy), Mageocracy (a nation dominated by magic), Black Nation (a nation of evil, darkness, or otherwise), Glowing Nation (a nation notable by its use of magitech, which will be explained further later), Nation for Hire (mercenary based), Creators (a nation of artists, thinkers, builders, etc), and Knights Kingdom (of chivalry, honor, etc).

Again, if you have any suggestions for anything at all, please don't hesitate to voice them!

Since DarkMatter seems to have pulled out, I would like to offer my services as a co-GM. I have quite a lot of roleplaying experience (I'm new to this site, but I've been on some others for a while).

Also... dragons. High Fantasy is never complete without dragons, although they do have to take second place to drow for my personal preference. If we can have both, that would be even more awesome.
