Some opinions from our dear Lord Jewel Namore.

'Lord' Sish. I have no idea how such a brute ever managed to attain such rank within the Sith Hierarchy. He is not my equal in any way, clumsy, impure and blunt, he would seem ideally suited to being unleashed as a weapon of war on a battlefield and little else. I can only conclude that it is by the virtue of some higher patron that he has attained his current rank.

I look forward to watching him die choking on poison gas, or perhaps being fried by Force Lightning.

Then I will have to acquire his corpse, at least the hide - I needed new boots.

Jayda. Her potential, such as it is, is wasted by her master, who sees skill in inflicting pain as the only goal worth pursuing. Perhaps I will take her for myself. The only question is whether to push her into killing the master or just kill him myself and be done with it. I suspect I will come to a conclusion soon.

The girl will never match me (but then, who does?) but she will make a useful, even powerful, tool.

Miasa: She was in agreement with me about abusing the Jedi love triangle, may be one of the Sith on the ship that is actually capable of accomplishing something. May need to link up back with her at a later date so we may update each other on our findings about the captives. Unsure of her actual motives nor abilities, would be wise to figure those out.

Lord Sish and Jayda: A lumbering brute, he possesses a cowardly apprentice, have not met him or his lacky. Will need to interact with them eventually, will have to tread carefully and try not to insult the beast. He won't be of any danger in the scheming sense, may be able to abuse his viciousness in order to advance my own grand goals. Sish may inadvertently bring his own death, which would open up some opportunities to control Jayda.

Zanna: A Red Sith, often is close to Jayda, seems like she is planning something. Have not spoken with her enough to form a real opinion, but may need to be watched especially considering her relationship with Sish's apprentice.

Lea: Not a total idiot for a Jedi, part of the ongoing love triangle, she may be the one that most easily falls under my control. Comes from a Jedi dynasty which many in the foolish Order would look down upon. Views romance differently than her peers, most definitely one to monitor closely amongst the captives.

Jayda: Have not seen much of her, but she seems different for a Sith. Possibly someone to watch carefully, may be able to turn her to the Light side. Seems to be in terror of her reptilian master, vanquishing him may be a way to bring her towards the Light.

KHAAAAAAAAAAAAAN: Haven't interacted with him much beyond being a escorted alongside of him but he's a Jedi which is a positive. Does not seem very knowing of the galaxy, or the Sith. Tried to get one of the captors to open up to him about herself and her master. May need to converse with him about how to speak around the other more quick to abuse Sith on the ship.

Well that's a real asshole thing to do. Cale Tucker hasn't been on in forever- he disappeared right in the middle of a roleplay, and only just recently returned. Unless you're saying he dropped out specifically to make a new account and cause drama, then decide to return, then wow.

Come on, if you're a GM or something, just say they can't join. You can put in the rules- GM's word is law. And that'll be perfectly fine. Not fair, but that's not entirely the point of that. Don't make up an excuse and accuse someone of other crap.

You do not know the full story. Cale had well and truly earned his ban, he simply forgot about it (which admittedly sounds unusual, but I tend to believe him since we discussed it). This has all already been handled behind closed doors to the relative satisfaction of both parties.

Rest assured, that we do not ban without very good reason and unanimous agreement of all three GMs. This particular reason did not happen within this thread, but within the Aftermath community - our IRC chat to be specific. Out of respect for Cale and recent resolution of the matter, I will not repeat the reason.

Opinion Challenge thing:

Koren: Knight Watchman Omni-Ren is still young, as far as his species go, but it easy to see how he has earned his station. Resourceful, a calm mind, and a leader, he is one that does great credit to the Order and I dare say is one of the more ideal Jedis I have come across. This endless feud with the Sith has forced the Order to make due with far too many unsuitable candidates. If there is anyone who will be able to keep the less-experienced Jedi from losing sight of their tenants and purpose, it is most certainly him.

Darth Nyiss: Still an enigma, and I do not put it past her that she is trying to manipulate me, although I must admit her intentions and obfuscation of knowledge is tantalizing, but infuriating. This Darth wants me to assist her in her experiments, but it remains to be seen how much of my own experiments I can carry out without her knowing. It is a shame I am not able to smuggle Xid into her quarters; he knows how these machines work and what security features they offer. I should like to know what she is trying to do with Padawan Nazca, and I know her bed chambers are a treasure trove of discarded genetic material that would be rather useful. We will see what her game is, but for now, compliance with a believable amount of defiance should keep her guard down. After all, one can't appear too eager to take part in Sith experiments, even if there's a chance I can use it for the greater good.

Lord Sish: I haven't had the displeasure of meeting this brute on a name to name basis, but first impressions, as they say, are rather important. A Trandoshan that somehow rose in the ranks of a pure bloodline obsessed order despite being as far from human as one can get while still sporting two arms and two legs and a head, a curiosity. It is clear he sees himself as a warrior, and from his scars and signs of damage, he is no stranger to pain, and he seems to relish in it. I suspect from the gas intervention that someone monitoring wasn't impressed with his brashness, much to my relief. I'd hate to imagine what shape my future patients would have been in if he had continued on.

Shiri: A Padawan Twi'lik whom under other circumstances I would either have not noticed entirely or found her unoffensive enough. Now, it is nothing about her personality or her place in the Order, but she's a problem that suffers from her species' teenage hormonal drive to mate with whatever looks dashing enough and says enough nice things, not unlike humans. Her infatuation with Xid has compromised his judgement, and as he just proved, he isn't above reciprocating nauseating infatuation and doing stupid things to protect a girl he barely knows. So now, he lays battered and out of commission with considerable injury and he may not be able to perform if an escape attempt is necessary - or, if by chance I find a way to get him into Darth Nyiss' systems. Maybe instead of trying to find genetic markers for the Dark Side, I should have dedicated my life to defeating adolescent sex drives, then maybe Xid wouldn't be being brutalized on a daily basis at real risk to his life, and this Shiri girl could have amounted to something more than a tempest who might have doomed every captive on the ship.

If I were capable of a stronger emotional response, I might have done something rash, like insinuate her mother was conceived in Bantha Fodder and offer Xid the kindest of gestures; a full palmed slap across the face. But unlike these two, I will not indulge in immediate, fleeting gratification.

Note to self; If I escape from this predicament, petition the Jedi Order to make sterilization mandatory for membership. It is clear self-discipline and sense of duty has failed in a catastrophic way amongst the Order.

True and understandable. However, there's always two sides to the same story and unless you have both sides, assumption tends to make a bad impression over all. It often creates bad blood between people where it is not needed. Hence it is usually best to either ask about things like this in PMs, preventing OoC drama and saves you looking rather rude, or keep in mind there might be another side to the story not seen. It's noble that you care and willing to defend someone, but a pm is much better way to handle this than stirring things up in an OoC. Something to keep in mind in the future, alright?

The GMs here are pretty lax as we try to help our Players in any way we can to create canon possible PCs that would fit in this world without too much issue, a fact we're very proud on it and enjoy it. So if you're interested, feel free to pull up a CS or show anyone you know that enjoys SW and this Era the thread. We're always open to accepting new players in the fold. <3 I promise we don't bite...often.

Naw, this looks well established and I estimate a 40% chance of me screwing something up based on previous experience.

That, and I have this aversion to things established and loved. I won't join a roleplay well under way, I won't read a book that's famous everywhere (Except it's like Hungaaaar Games or soemthing- I read that before it was cool), or whatever.
