Though, if someone lifts my mood a bit, I might come up with a post earlier. The best way to do that is if yo can name the ship from the Return To Ashes mission, before you get to see firsthand. The clue is already there on the mission board.

Everyone has one try, and if you succeed, I'll make the money reward from that quest integral for anyone tat takes on it.

First off...Lucille has some sort of supernatural-detecting sense? She can tell immortal god-hybrid-things from regular Youkai?

Second off...dat 8.3% chance of getting the right answer...

Third off...do things like immortality-ending weapons or supernatural-cancelling abilities exist outside of Lucille? Cause Rui-Ling's been searching for a way to end his immortality for some time now (at least so he can age), and it's been rationalized in his CS that his divinity is as natural as the idea that every human has a soul.

Just want some idea of the rulings behind all this, as well as some world-expansion. Probably would have liked to know that methods of immortality-removal existed in this universe when my CS was first made, really...XD

And boo, no Shiina reactions to the latter half of my post.

As far as I know, Lucille is the only way to permakill an immortal due to her powers. You'll have to ask KoL about more methods. I'll add Shiina's reaction to your post later tonight.

Well, the answer is right under your nose. Check the mission board with care and it won't even be hard. I'll give you all a tip, but just once. Look for the rewards.

As for your other questions as well as the interaction between Lucille's power canceling ability and Ruri-kun's immortality, it would like this, IMO. As long as he stays within her area of influence he can't revive at all, but as soon as Lucille's go away his power kicks in again. I think it's the best course of action because of the nature of his immortality (delayed resurrection), if she was fighting someone that had other types of immortality (like the plain old "can't die at all"), Lucille would kill then and they would stay dead. That's my opinion. What do you think, @TheWindel?

About ways to ending his immortality permanently. Sure there are ways to do that, the most easy would be with a cursed/holy weapon or something like this, but there are other methods too, I just have to come up with them later.

Damn, I knew that I shouldn't have given that tip. You are right. It's only fitting that the reward for a mission involving Kongou be a tea set, right?

As for the other business, I guess that you won't have to look much further than the good ol' Gae Bolg, if you want a really nasty Irish weapon. Though being killed by it is a very messy death (with all those spikes and such), I warn you. But, if you are going for something more interesting, I would look for Geass related stuff, since Ruri-kun's true death would very much likely be related to it on someway.

It's historic related. Kongou was built on the Great Britain (the last ship of the IJN to be built outside of Japan), so she's a half-Brit chick. That's why she's always associated with tea, 'cause you know... England...

Nevertheless, I'm forced to keep my word now. I'll try my best to post before Thursday (though I can't guarantee that because of work and college), but the reward for the mission is raised to what-ever-is-there-money per person who takes it. Chikage has a near endless reserve of money, so it won't be a problem to her.

The tea set remains unique, though.

Gae Bolg only ever killed mortals though. Even if, say, it had the conceptual ability to impart death onto all subjects, the problem with Rui-Ling is that his immortality takes the shape of 'automatic resurrection after death'. It's not killing Rui-Ling that's the problem. It's the 'automatic resurrection' that needs to be taken care of somehow, but currently, yea, Lucille's the only one that can keep him dead, and even then, that's only until she tires of lugging his corpse around with her everywhere.

In regards to geis, there's a similar problem...

A geis can be compared with a curse or, paradoxically, a gift. If someone under a geis violates the associated taboo, the infractor will suffer dishonor or even death.

Kek, with all the money that Chikage's throwing around, I wonder if someone will eventually just straight up purchase the Dangeki Cosplay Shop. XD
