If you really want to make a slam impression, have your character wonder around the academy. That way she'd find Syn, and things will get... Funky.

In terms of the relics, how much knowledge would a student have on it? Would it be something they'd cover in school? Also, where would the nearest place holding relics from the Infinitum be? Sorry for the trouble :P

The students would know quite alot about the Relics but not what the Relics actually do when touched. They'd cover it heavily in history class. As for the nearest place? I think Tori took one of them to guard under Yggdrasil's orders.

What about any additional information in libraries? What are some books we might expect to procure when attempting to discern more about the relics? Unless most of the locations for the relics are disclosed, most people might not know where to search.

Locations are disclosed. The point is to search them out yourselves. As for books, expect alot of books detailing the World's Shattering and tales of the Great Beast. Tori and probably Vocab's character (assuming they're still in this) might be the best ones to consult about this.
