Aegirine is perfectly acceptable as a Gem character and also, Bloodstone our main villain identifies and looks Male so that is A-Okay in my book ^-^

Yes, this is based off of Steven Universe. I would be happy to explain anything you have questions about and wiki actually has some pretty good information. I could send a link if that would be better for you.
A vigilante style of human wouldn't be a bad thing but HomeWorld is against all on Earth which includes humans so it would have to be a pretty convincing story for them to want a humans help. He could be a vigilante against all gems but maybe somewhere along the way he sees that they aren't all bad or maybe he just wants all of them off the planet period. It is really up to you.
I don't see anything wrong with using Galaxite as a Gem character ^-^

I am sure an oppurtunity will arise again. If you really want the leadership to show than ask Kronshi and I am sure he wouldn't mind Bloodstone having a secrecy moment for Chromite to take some time to see those skills. We all know that Blood like to do those hidden things XD

Well, it is wonderful to see you and I am so glad that you have been keeping tabs on the old RP ^-^ I would love for you to join into this one since it will have a free and clear openings
Yes, the humans can have weapons. The reason there is no description for them is because they have the freedom in choosing if they want to fight. They can keep out of the fight and stay more town folks but friends to the gem inhabitants or they can take up arms on the Crystal Gem side or even the HomeWorld side(though less likely). As humans, we have the remarkable ability to do more than we think we can, plus these new gems will need some human help to well...fit in or even can be the deciding factor in the new gems wanting to fight for the humans.
