@Stuzzie There's a few things that I noticed in there that needs to be addressed, for the moment I'm talking things over with my Co-GMs to determine what exactly should be addressed and how, so we'll get with you soon.

@LukasVolkov Glad to hear, I'll drop a PM to you with an invite link to our discord.
@Stuzzie Good to hear, feel free to toss it at myself or my co-GMs here or in the discord. At least one of us is usually about to give some advice on the setting. Don't be afraid to ask questions either, I know there's a lot that can be cleared up, so I don't mind at all any questions about the setting.
Just dropping by to let those watching that I'm moving on ahead with work on the IC and my own CS, as well as some short bits on each of the major factions in the setting. We are of course still quite open to new people both now, in the leadup to the RP starting and even afterwards.
@Stuzzie Anytime people are ready, though I intend to go forward with the IC on the 2nd and so following CS's will need to be tailored accordingly. Note that the 2nd is not a cut-off date for people applying to the RP.
@Stuzzie Works perfectly for most of the current orders in the galaxy. Green Jedi(Corellian Hegemony), Jedi Enclaves(GRM) and the Shadow Council(Renkar Imperium) all have more of a grey shift to them, though some more or less depending. More light leaning would of course be the Green Jedi, though they have their own criticisms regarding their take on the Code and how they operate, while the Shadow Council are dark jedi in all but name. Up to you on how to play your character, what group to draw them from, but as I've mentioned most of our focus will be on the Mandalorian side of things, so best to keep that in mind.
So are we able to play whomever we want (within reason) in this Galaxy as a whole? Or are we all like members of one faction. Just asking to clarify, there ain't a lot SW going on on the guild right now so I'm looking around.

As Jason said, but as I will elaborate more on; Most of us will be members of the Mandalorian Republic and the Jedi Enclaves who operate within. I am not really one to restrict the freedoms of players in what kind of character they want to play, unless of course it is something truly out there or clashes with the setting. So, if say you wanted to play as a Corellian Green Jedi, then so long as there's reason enough for your character to be part of the group, then there is no issue. Same for something like an Imperial Trooper, or a Huttese Mercenary, someone in the CIS or whatever else.
I have some things scheduled to work on over the weekend, among them being a possible dramatis personae both for actual NPCs and a couple known player characters, but also for the factions themselves. I understand full well that fandoms on their own can be quite expansive things, and that people can get lost in the depth, as well as it can be a bit hard to just jump right into someone's custom setting without having to ask questions about everything. Both of those put this AU in a bit of a tricky spot of course, so I hope that putting up a blurb or three about the prominent factions, I can help ease some of those sitting on the fence and just observing into properly joining, or at least asking some of those questions.

In the mean time, anyone interested in joining the RP when it goes live, do give me a headsup and I'll hook you up with a discord invite. We're pretty active in both talk about the setting in general, as well as just hanging out.
@Chev Good to hear, got anything in mind as of yet?
I will note for those who have shown interest, or have yet to do so, that the main focus will be on the Mandalorian Republic and the Jedi Enclaves. Not to say that people will be barred from making characters outside of those two organizations, but that most of the party will be at least affiliated with the two.
I'll stake my interest. I'm considering a force wielder but am hesitant to call them a Grey Jedi. They would definitely fall into that broader category, using both light side and dark side force powers and philosophies. I'll just start work on it. I read that the Jedi Order splintered, so I was hoping I could create my own sort of force tradition. Built on the remnants of the old ones.

If you're looking for force orders to work with, there's a few already there in the setting as is. The Jedi Enclaves for one being the largest since they are affiliated with the Mandalorian Republic. The Green Jedi are less gray, more light, but that can be argued pretty heavily against by pretty much every other force order. Then there's the Shadow Council, who are just Dark Jedi but don't call them that. Bendu Monks are actually around too, keeping mostly to themselves, but it's an option. So yeah, a good few options, but if you're bent on establishing another splinter order, just understand that I'll be looking it over with a fair bit more discretion than normal. That applies to anyone looking to pitch their own ideas for organizations within the setting, as I want to be sure that they mesh well with what is established.
