Do you think the reason Jesus Christ doesn't rise again is because we keep putting up crosses and he gets flashbacks on how that went last time?

I will never show empathy for a bigot or a man who believed empathy is a made up term. Simple as that.

As the fight between Jaakuna and Rio unfolded, causing even further damage to the library, Wesley took notice of how Grant was acting. He appeared to be even more on edge than he usually was. At first, he thought it had been due to the intense fight between Jaakuna and Rio, but there was something else that seemed to be bothering Grant. Wesley was pretty observant of most things around him - even before he gained his transcendent abilities. With all of that being so, Wesley couldn’t help but have this gnawing feeling in his gut that something else other than what was happening in front of them was in the works.

Just seconds before Wesley was going to ask Grant, he beat Wesley to it. It in that same moment that Wesley felt what GRant must’ve felt. The familiar mist that he felt when he was in Rio’s presence. There was also something about that, to Wesley, felt familiar. He couldn’t explain it, but something about it reminded him of someone. Even with Wesley’s enhanced capabilities, the Dalmascan King couldn’t pinpoint who it was - only where it was.

“It seems Jaakuna isn’t the only one that will have their hands full,” Wesley noted, looking on, seeing Jaakuna and Rio go back and forth in their fight. Just like Zeromus was summoned, Hashmal also was summoned. Wesley climbed onto his shoulder, looking back at Emiri and Shion. “Please take care of her, Lady Shion. And Emiri, please be safe.” Wesley wished them well-wishes

As he and Grant, and their Espers took off in the direction where the odor of darkness was getting stronger, Wesley looked over to Grant, “It’s Nadeline, isn’t it? She’s in danger, isn’t she?”

He had to admit that Rio was giving Jaakuna a good fight. The back and forth between the two men was, in all honesty, refreshing. As odd as it was to say, Jaakuna felt like he was getting back to his roots and being able to enjoy a fight. Of course, the motivations for this fight were vastly different than when he was a young buck, participating in tavern brawls. It was just the fact that Jaakuna was fighting all out against someone who was of equal power. For a moment when Jaakuna and Rio’s blades clashed, he felt as though Rio was feeling the same thing.

Jaakuna lunged forward with a few slashes and Jaakuna saw Rio dodge most of them and blocked the rest, their mist causing shockwaves throughout the library. “Seems like you’re actually enjoying yourself, Rio. What’s up with that?”

After he had time to adjust to the explosive entrance he made that resulted in damage to some ancient shelves with even older books that Shion doubtless collected over her long life, JAakuna dared not make eye contact with the woman, lest he wants to invoke her wrath upon him even further. But that wouldn’t be a choice for him because he did have to look her way. If not to make sure she was okay, but just so she knew how sorry he was. Ever since they bonded the way they did after Shion bestowed her light upon him, Jaakuna had been feeling this extra sense within him - a feeling, if you will - about how Shion was feeling. And right now, he could feel the dismay and horror as she watched her years of collecting literally go up in smoke.

He didn’t say anything, which was probably for the best. Jaakuna would choose to focus on everyone else. They probably thought he didn’t hear that, but Jaakuna heard Wesley’s comments loud and clear. “How about we save that until after I defeat this guy. Unless you two want to cover my tab?” Jaakuna asked with a cheeky smile.

Wesley laughed, giving Jaakuna a smile. “A generous offer, but I will have to decline. Nothing in Dalmasca’s economy can replace the sentimental value that these books held to Lady Shion,” Wesley stated, making his stance perfectly clear. He beckoned to Grant, “worry not, my future uncle-in-law. Lady Shion is forgiving of most things. Besides, we did not burn down her life’s work, now did we, Jaakuna?”

“Sometimes, I really hate you, Wesley.” Jaakuna scowled at his friend. He was finally able to return to the main attraction: a man who has lived far too long.

Jaakuna stepped forward, the light of Shion manifesting around him. Two swords of red and white and black appearing in his hands. As he would take another pace forward, Emiri warned him of Rio’s powers of regeneration. “Nothing huh? Did you not see how I blasted him into the wall just a minute ago? I’m pretty sure that phased him real good,” Jaakuna laughed, turning to face Emiri. “You don’t need to worry. I have this in the bag. And when I defeat him, we can finally talk about our life together,” he promised her.

Now, as he had said everything he wanted to say, all eyes were on him. Everyone whose lives might’ve been affected by this man, or whose lives were affected by the series of events he set in motion - it all ended here. Either Jaakuna would die by the hands of this monster or Rio will pay for everything he has done. Whatever the results, Jaakuna was not going to hold anything back.

“It ends now!”

Jaakuna’s resolve allowed him to unleash a sudden burst of his mist, a golden, light aura mixed in with the reds and oranges of his fiery mist provided him with just the flashy display of his power that would counterbalance Rio’s own. And as if the two were synced up by something greater, they both went forward and clashed, unveiling such a vivid display of magicks that couldn’t be further from alike even if they tried. All that was opposed to each other manifested in pure force.

This would be the battle to decide the fate of Ivalice. Jaakuna, the Transcended Hume versus Rio, the Tenebrous Celebrant.
Kai listened to Cielle explain how she was able to change their clothes in as fast as a light flashing before their eyes by...not explaining how she did that. She just chalked it up to it being magic - which in itself wasn't exactly helpful to what Kai had asked her. He didn't understand the concept of magic. Being a boy from Twilight Town, he never had known such a thing. It was never known to him until that fateful day when the Shadow Heartless attacked and he was tossed into this new lifestyle. The only thing that made any sense was how Kai knew Cielle was his best shot at finding Aira. That was the thing that Kai held onto.

Magic wasn't part of the equation until Cielle pointed out that it had its uses. And after the first seven tries of being exposed to it - both good and bad - Kai was starting to catch on. He was just surprised that Cielle had as much patience with him. Most wouldn't have stuck around that long. Just as Kai was about to ask her about the magic and perhaps teaching him some of it, Cielle again said something Kai knew to be right. I hate it when she's right. He let out a grumble of sorts, smiling and nodding as he followed Cielle out the door.

The sudden breeze wasn't as much of a bother to Kai as it was when he was wearing his normal, summer attire. But that wasn't what turned Kai's determined look into one of despair. When they ran out the door and into the courtyard, the first thing that both he and Cielle would see was more of the same heartless from before. "Not again," Kai whined, sighing, though he quickly put his game face on. He summoned his keyblade.

And like before, Kai dove head-first, though something was different. He couldn't properly explain it, but there was some kind of light shining around Kai. In the moments that it had taken him to attack the heartless long before Cielle had a chance to even register it, Kai's entire body became engulfed in the same wind that Cielle's had just minutes ago. With it, when the Snowman Heartless attacked him, they were knocked back a few paces. And whenever the smaller ones attacked, they were vanquished immediately. As Kai proceeded to round behind the bigger ones, he charged into a spiral, his keyblade striking the fat ones in the back, sending them back to the darkness hole they crawled out of.

Just as quickly the wind appeared around him, it was gone. What bothered Kai the most was he didn't know how he did that. "What..just happened?" Kai asked himself, looking over at Cielle. "I guess the coast is clear, yeah?"

Somewhere in Arendale

"The windy mountains whisper in Arendale. It was obvious that Elsa's handiwork, whether intentional or not, had generated enough fear and panic to surrender their joyous hearts to the darkness. And wherever there was darkness, the heartless were bound to show up." A raspy-like voice slithered its way into the base of the mountain where Queen Elsa had chosen to reside.

A hooded-figure that had a black cloak on watching from the highest peak of Mount Tundra, the highest of mountains within this frosted wasteland that had just been created. From this point, this figure saw everything: the desperate Elsa wanting to stay away from everyone. Her darling sister rushing on horseback to find Elsa and bring her home. And, in the courtyard, displaying his rising skills, Kai was showing what everyone in The Darkness knows to be true: he is one of the four.

There was a hint of a laugh as the hooded figure faded into a Portal of Darkness.

"He and that girl are ones to watch. This will be amusing."

I'm currently waiting for people to post so that I may post again.

How rude! She wasn't even going to help him up or try and do something to help him from the precarious position he had landed himself in. It wasn't like he was the one at fault. He just underestimated the bigger heartless. Could he have acted with a little more care when attacking? Perhaps. But Kai wanted to use the moment of surprise that he thought he had. The strategy he had was the same as it always was: go forth with the Keyblade, spin out towards them, and hope for the best. It wasn't the smartest way to fight, but if Cielle hadn't noticed, Kai was new to this whole Keyblade thing, so he just went wherever the wind blew him. It wasn't always bad, but this time it was.

Sulking Kai didn't want to get up, which was mostly to spite Cielle, but the sudden swift breeze that she created prompted the blond teen to stand up as quick as it had taken Cielle to deal with the heartless properly. As he saw them fade away to the shadows they were created from, Kai saw something that stood out to him. It was only for a moment, but he saw the glimmer of light that was shaped like a...heart.

"What was that?" He muttered to himself, curious about what exactly that was. He wouldn't have that much time to linger on that thought because the breeze from both outside and the breeze that was generated from Cielle's magic spell caused Kai - if not just for a moment - to shiver beyond belief. One moment, he was adequately warm. He wasn't toasty but he wasn't freezing like he was right now.

And as Kai felt his teeth shivering with the rest of his body, he was suddenly overtaken by a warm light that originated from Cielle's Keyblade. It started to raise his body temperature up. Whatever kind of spell that was, Kai knew that was a keeper. As he went to go touch his body to feel the warmth, something that wasn't there was in the place of his skin. "What the--" Kai looked down and he noticed immediately that he had a drastic change. Going over to the back of the room where he remembered there being a mirror, he looked and holy moly, was he looking different. He had silver pants that made his legs feel all nice and cozy, a three-layered torso setup with a regular t-shirt, sweater, and a parka colored like the green and blue sea after sunrise. The last thing other than the winter boots he had on that Kai noticed was a scarf.

"Check me out!" Kai's voice was just as warm with excitement as his body was. "How did you come up with this? You knew exactly what I was thinking of wearing!" Kai looked at himself more in the mirror. It took him a long moment to look back at Cielle. "Seriously, though. How did you do that?"

”How long do they plan on keeping me wait?”

Sonny was never the most patient of boys. He always had a terrible habit of not being able to wait for long periods of time. If he was going to ask someone to meet him somewhere or wait in a line, he expected the overall waiting time to be less than five minutes - which fell perfectly in Sonny’s lazy nature. Just as much as he was likely not to fully commit to certain things, he also didn’t have the mental capacity to be kept waiting.

And after just five minutes, twenty seconds since he last received the text message from Marisol, Sonny had enough of this waiting. One, he didn’t particularly care for the area he was in. Granted, he chose it because he thought they would all get some grub before the first series of bells sounded off, but from the time it took for Sonny to send that group text to the amount of time it took for him to get a response, then the time it took for him to have enough of it, Sonny literally did have enough of waiting.

As soon as Sonny grabbed a small breakfast sandwich from the cafeteria, which had just barely opened, he rushed to the parking lot. He knew that’s where anybody who was anybody was hanging around. When he got there, however, he just didn’t realize just how many people he knew would also be there. Right away, he spotted at least five people he recognized. Just a few steps in, he saw the usual suspects doing their usual suspect things. He happened to spot Kavi do his usual tormenting of Elijah. Sonny had no intention of starting his school year off by getting into a verbal-turned-fistfight with Kavi, so he left him be. For now.

His eyes rolled as his feet started moving, hearing people bicker, hearing them talk about people bickering. At some point, Sonny tuned them out. If he didn’t, he was likely to drive his own self crazy by resisting the urge to punch out every single one of these people in the mouth. But that just took too much energy that Sonny didn’t want to waste. Good thing, too, because he saw one of the most annoying people he had ever had the pleasure to know walk past him: The Senior Class President, Victoire Bailey. He knew exactly how she felt about him. Good. He felt the same way.

“Fucking bitch,” Sonny muttered to himself, turning around so he didn’t have to face her wrath.

And when Sonny’s eyes turned to face directly to the parking lot, just sitting there he saw the very people he wanted to come to him. Oh you have to be shitting me.

Sonny was not a happy camper, but more so because there he saw Archer, Marisol, and fucking Kavan (other Kavi, if you will) all appearing to have a fucking blast, meanwhile Sonny was left alone, waiting by the cafeteria like some kind of loner loser. No way, Jose. This was not going to fly by. They will not hear the end of it.

He casually walked up to the group, giving them a wave. “You guys really suck. You kept me waiting for a whole five minutes.” Sonny bitched, giving Marisol the stink eye. “Oh hey, it’s Prince Ali. How’s Jasmine?” Sonny gave Kavan a little smirk, though his eyes fell on someone, feigning the visage that something caught in his eyes. “Damn that fairy dust..oh, it’s just Archer. What’s up, boyo?”

L O C A T I O N / / Somewhere at School
I N T E R A C T I N G W I T H / / Stella’s worst nightmare, probably.

How the years went past her like the ever-shifting wind always changes on a moment’s notice. For the longest time, even when she had Savanna Hart to be her guide, Stella has always been like a leaf into the wind. She never had any permanent residence in any place she was staying at. Despite her popular status, Stella, at the core of her soul, has always been a drifter. If she didn’t have one group of unique individuals to reside by, then she would follow wherever the wind took her. If that happened to be with the Misfits for a while, then she’d kick it with them. If she had to endure the goths for a little while, then that’s exactly what she would do. It wasn’t until she met Sav that Stella was constantly with the popular kids, though her party animal origins always kept her from succumbing to the elitist nature of the popular kids.

Throughout the years at King’s Academy, Stella never had a true place to belong but she knew that she always had someone to follow. But with Savanna gone because she had moved with her family to Hollywood so she could pursue the dream that she, Stella, and Sabrina all shared, Stella was left alone and without someone to guide her. It was scary and exciting and just absolutely thrilling. The unknown really had her feeling all kinds of wonder. And it continued as she wandered into the main campus for a bit.

In that time, she saw all sorts of colorful individuals. SOme of them she knew and some were brand new faces. She saw some latina who was talking to some other white guy. She saw Kavi Salvador picking on some little guy with that one chess queen chick. Various people in the middle of their own thing and Stella was just kind of ...there. She had no direction nor did she see anyone she wanted to talk to. Well, that wasn’t 100% accurate. It wasn’t that she didn’t want to talk to anyone. It was more in the lines of who does she go to? So many people with so many possible routes of conversation.

“What would Savanna do?” Stella asked herself, taking a quick glance around the parking lot. Without a doubt, the parking lot was the most lit part of the school right now. Where the nerds were currently getting tormented by Kavi, there were other parts that were also booming with intrigue. Stella honestly was a bit excited but also she was just a little overwhelmed. So many people and so little time to know them all. Granted, some of them were also people she knew. It was just so difficult to decide who to go up to.

As the thought lingered for a few moments, the wind that was followed by beautiful, dark locks brushed past Stella. With the royal colors of King’s Academy’s uniform ever-present, it was the sound of the commanding voice that Stella found herself drawn to. The silky tone of her dominance sent chills down her body. It wasn’t even that kind of sexual chills, either. It was the kind of tone that Stella has long-sought-after but had not heard in months - not since Savanna left her all alone.

Without a moment’s hesitation, Stella followed her, taking in everything that was happening with the group of kids who have gathered. She made it her mission to not only absorb everything she could but keeping her eyes on this powerful person work their magic. It was captivating. It was as if Savanna’s spirit was transported into this one. Stella knew she just had to know her. If anything, seeing the face of this person was the top of her to-do list.

And as luck would have it, a quick glimpse of the porcelain skin and those eyes that had her absolute attention. But just as quickly as she had turned around, Stella lost sight of it. “Oh no!” Stella fumbled for words, then she tapped the girl on the shoulder, waiting for her to turn around. “Hi! Hello!” Stella started with a high, almost-screechy voice. “Stella Lambert. I’m Stella Lambert!”

That’s much better. Now hope for the best!

I planned on getting my Stella intro up tonight, but things fell through a hole into the void, so don't count on it still happening.
