Do you think the reason Jesus Christ doesn't rise again is because we keep putting up crosses and he gets flashbacks on how that went last time?

Red Mage/Summoner | Besaid Island | Mage Staff

Appearance Details
Wesley comes from a long line of lanky, above-average height men and women. As such, though he covers his thin figure under robes and cloths that befit a young man of his upbringing, Wesley stands roughly in the upper five-foot height with his weight certainly being appropriate for the skinny body he has. Island life has given him a decent amount of muscle mass, but unfortunately for Wesley, he doesn't get out much/doesn't find himself as one who particularly enjoys the long walks or exploring, the life that his friends happen to enjoy. That aside, Wesley looks is like any other Besaid Island native. He had long, dark hair that comes to a stop at the base of his shoulder. His eyes, much like his ancestor, Yuna, has a small percentage that is green because of his distant Al Bhed blood, but his eyes resemble the sky during a partly cloudy evening.

Background
It is not a secret that Wesley's bloodline is one of the oldest and most prestigious in all of Spira. Though he is not related to a Maester or has royal blood of the Guado, he is, however, a descendent of four of Spira's most famous heroes. On one side, he has the blood of High Summoner Braska and his daughter, High Summoner Yuna, coursing through his veins while famous guardians Jecht and his son, Tidus, make up the remaining side of Wesley's ancestry. Though several generations separate him and them, his upbringing and the way he carries himself would be best compared to Lord Braska.

Fighting Style
Though usually a pacifist, When Wesley does fight, he does so with intelligence, strategy, and from afar. As a spellcaster who doubles as a summoner, Wesley utilizes two forms of magic: the healing, purifying arts of white magic and the destructive, yet surprisingly orderly, arts of black magic. He casts spells with percision and focus, able to both deal damage that is appropriate to whomever or whatever he might face while also acting as support for his allies. His main weapon aside from the aeons he might be able to summon is his handy Mage's Staff. It is crafted from a special material found on Besaid that naturally enhances one's magical attack and defense while also granting temporary protection from magical attacks to those around him.

When Wesley is desperate and finds himself wanting to do the most damage, he activates a special inner-fire within him that, depending on the situation, has two forms.

The first of the two is his non-summoning overdrive known simply as Magical Fury. With this, Wesley is capable of dealing massive magical damage through the use of a rapid fire spellcasting. Depending on if he wants to cause damage or support, Wesley can either dig into the spells of black magic he knows or can mass-cast white magic spell that, when cast in the quantity of numbers, allow for a wider range of effects, resulting in the possibility of curing someone of multiple ailments, or saving them from certain death. Alternatively, those foes who may have the upperhand might find themselves at the brink of death due to Wesley's offense.

The second of the two of Wesley's Overdrive is known as High Summon It is the result of the connection between summoner and aeon coming to its fullest form as the power flowing through an aeon flows through the summoner as well. When Wesley summons, this aeon will feel his heart and will and devotion to the fayth and be able to unleash power it had not previously possessed without it having to gather the power needed on its own. With it at full strength, the aeon unleashes its own Overdrive and causes its own damage that no mere human, Al Bhed, Guado, or Ronso could ever be capable of.

Misc
Wesley is a devout believer in New Yevon. Despite the crimes of the past committed by those who claimed to believe in Yevon, Wesley has never lost faith. Yevon has corrected the mistakes of the past and has been on the right path for centuries. And like his predicessors before him, Wesley stayed true to his beliefs. He does this by praying daily.

Thief/Rouge | Bikenel Island | Two gauntlets with tonfa extracting blades

Fun-loving | Foolhardy | Impulsive | Lively

Appearance Details
Standing roughly at 68 inches, Jaakuna stands at a rather above-average height with a body type that's lean. Since he spends most of his free time roaming parts of the desert, it stands to reason his body isn't exactly bulky or curvy. And of course, much like his parents and siblings, he bears the classic golden shade most Al Bhed's do, though oddly enough, the emerald eyes skipped him and instead gave him eyes just like his hair. Clothes-wise, Jaakuna fahsions himself black pants and a red jacket with a hood. He always wears his gauntlets because, growing up in the desert, one may never know when they may need to fight.

Background
Born on Bikenel Island, Jaakuna, who was born to the name of Jykuna, was in fact born to Al Bhed leader, Lorenzo and his wife/soul mate, Karolina. Jaakuna was born just five minutes before his younger sister, Nadeline. Though the two are twins, anyone who spent five minutes with them will see they have quite the sibling relationship. He pesters her a lot, giving her headaches when he can and she retaliates by testing him at every chance she gets. Being so quick-tempered, sometimes it results in Jaakuna reacting in certain ways that may or may not result in obscenities. Despite all of this, however, when it comes right down to it the two have an unspoken, twin-like love that is likely the closest any pair of siblings may ever have.

When Jaakuna isn't bothering his sister, he really does like getting dirty with his hands. Being his father's son through in through, Jaakuna spends most of his free time (and even some of his official time) in his father's garage, helping out when he can and fixing - or, commonly in Jaakuna's case - breaking what Lorenzo or Nadeline just got done fixing. His real contributions have been, well, Jaakuna really doesn't have any real contributions to the Al Bhed tribe, but he does have a lot of energy and it's often best put to use by exploring the desert in search of whatever he could find to help the Al Bhed prosper, though sometimes it doesn't always seem like that.

Fighting Style
Jaakuna is a fighter without a doubt. His instincts are to fight. No matter how he may appear on the outside, this particular Al Bhed has the fighting spirit, but it is also one of a crafty nature. Jaakuna fights using tricks and speed to get the upper hand. Using his tonfa gauntlets, he is able to use his superior speed to deliver quick and precise strikes in a combination of acrobatics and slashes. He does have some minor magic talents, that which is based on speed alone (haste, slow, etc). He is practically useless against the fiends and enemies with heavy-duty armor, but against the lighter foes - and especially ariel foes - Jaakuna can be quite deadly.

When he really means business, Jaakuna unleashes his overdrive - A Rouge's Desire - upon enemies that ups his speed and strength to the highest levels they can go and he moves like a blur delivering strike after strike on foes that finishes off with a pulse of magic from the blades that deal a large, concussive force blast to the foes. It damages all foes.

Misc
Teasing his twin, younger sister is a frequent hobby of Jaakuna's. He knows she hates it and that's why he knows he'll always get a reaction out of her. Guaranteed success every time!

Final Fantasy X Fandom Roleplay set 1000 years into the future post-FFX-2 continuity. It will center around six main characters from all across Spira who will find themselves in the middle of a conspiracy that threatens to bring back the one thing nobody in Spira - regardless of their origin or loyalty - wants to be brought back: Sin. They say fragments of Sin are out there, but that's just whispers among the conspiracy theorists who want to disrupt the faith New Yevon has brought to Spira in recent years. Perhaps this is just to cover up the fact that the various factions in Spira are finding it hard to maintain the peace.

Whichever the case, should this come to pass, Spira will enter a new era unlike that which it has seen in a thousand years.

1 A.S - The Eternal Calm is established after the defeat of Sin. During this time, all returned to normal life. Yuna attained High Summoner status. Lulu and Wakka became pregnant. Khamari returned to Mount Gagazet, and Rikku returned to Bikinel Island with Cid and her brother, Brother.

2 A.S - With her cousins, Rikku and Brother, High Summoner Yuna set off on their own adventure in the sky and to certify their own independence. Along the way, they meet a mysterious girl named Paine and form the Gullwings.

2.2 A.S - After a few months of going around treasure-hunting, the Gullwings find themselves involved in various feuds with rival treasure hunters, LeBlanc and her two followers. After a few back and forth fights, they uncover the plot of Shuyin and his plans for 1000-year-old Machina weapon, Vegnagun.

2.5 A.S - Vegnagun is defeated.

2.8 A.S - The Eternal Calm is restored. Tidus shows up half-mile off the coast of Besaid.

3-100 A.S. - The Eternal Calm continues to spread peace as tensions between the Ronso and Al Bhed increase.

100-110 A.S. - The Eternal Calm is on the verge of being compromised when Cid, the Fourth, assumes command over the Al Bhed and makes the controversial move to move into Ronso territory. As a result, the Al Bhed-Ronso war begins.

111-125 A.S. - The Ronsos and Al Bhed come to an understanding after nearly two decades of over three hundred lives were taken throughout the senseless war.

125 A.S. - The Ronso-Al Bhed peace treaty is signed by Ronso Elder, Kimahri and Cid, the Fourth, signaling the official end of the war between the two races, thus the Eternal Calm is restored once again.

126-350 A.S. - The years have been fortunate to Spira and so has the reconstruction of its cities. With the Al Bhed’s help, restoration of the Ruins of Zanarkand slowly begun. In addition, several other technological additions have started to be added throughout Spira.

351-500 A.S. - With the restoration of Spira nearly reaching a peak, tensions within the Ronso about allowing their once sacred mountain receiving the same treatment has been the main cause of Ronso doubting their leaders.

501-601 A.S. - Ronso tensions reached a boiling point. The First Ronso Civil War breaks out, resulting in blood being shed on the sacred lands for the first time since the days of SIn.

602-700- Times change and now more than ever, Spira prepares itself for its first World War between the devout followers of Yevon and the non-believers. All of Spira will be caught in the crosshairs as the war takes several dozen lives in the first few years, spanning anywhere from Bevelle to Macalania Forest to the small islands of Besaid and Kilika.

705 A.S. - After final confrontations in Bevelle led to conspiracies against the very people who started the war came to public light, admission of fault came from those who would assume leadership of Yevon, effectively calling for a ceasefire. This one action ended the war and brought an era of peace that would last for several hundreds of years.

979 A.S. - Nearly three hundred years later, a group of Ronsos who have strayed from Ronso ways is banished from Mount Gagazet for using a technique known as Forbidden Lancet - a lost Ronso art that’s said to allow a Ronso to assume the abilities of the legendary Aeons.

979 - A.S. - Rio of Kilika Island is born.

980 - Savayna of Besaid Island is born. Meanwhile, somewhere in Macalania, Shion has also been born.

980 A.S. - Whispers among the Head Maesters say that a young new Maester by the name of Michel joins the ranks.

981 A.S. - Wesley of Besaid Island is born.

982 A.S. - Al Bhed head engineer and technology extraordinaire, Lorenzo and his wife, Karolina, welcome two twins - a boy and a girl - into Spira, Jaakuna (birth name Jykuna) and Nadeline. Jaakuna was born 5 minutes before Nadeilne was.

1000 A.S. - A journey begins as whisperings around Spira suggest that a dark force is making their first series of moves to cause panic among the Spirans. The age of Summoners returns.

Smile, Cielle! Smileeeeeeeeeeee
Kai had immediately shrugged off what happened between him and Cielle back at Arendale. He said things that he wasn't proud of and she said some things that, in hindsight, wasn't so positive either. Truth be told, Kai had forgotten about it all by the time he had reached that winter supplies store with the tall, husky fellow. His only focus right now was figuring out what they should do. The plan of persuading Elsa to come back with them hadn't gone exactly as he thought it would. When the giant snowman made himself known to them, Kai should've put it together that Elsa wasn't going to listen to reason, but he was pushing on for Anna's sake.

"It's already forgotten and forgiven!" Kai told Cielle, giving her his usual, cheeky grin. One thing that could be said for Kai was his ability to forgive and forget without a second thought. As he saw she hadn't done the same for herself, Kai placed a hand on her shoulder. "No more frowning, Ci! Smile like me!" Kai had then brought both of his hands on her chin, bringing her head to eye level with his, and he took his fingers on the outside of her lips and forced her to smile. "See? Smiling is easy!"
So, not only am I still in it to win it all the way to Flavor Town (only cool kids get the reference), I have cemented my still-invested interest with a post~

@Shizuochan

Yuki had tried his best to put on the face that was appropriately suitable for the kind of situation he and his soon-to-be classmates were in. Amid all of the back and forth talk - some of which Yuki himself was more or less absent from (his mind wandered elsewhere) - it wasn't long until all were rendered as silent as a mute. The loud, commanding voice of the Dean of Students, Yukimura Hideaki, explained what they all could and should expect their first day to be like, which to Yuki was something of a cool breeze in the tundra. The days that came after, however, were hinted at being less breezy, but rather a harsh, winter storm, the likes of which not even Yuki's hero father could withstand.

Or at least, that's what Yuki assumed from what the Dean of Students told them. He could be wrong, of course. The teen was, after all, the first year. There was much for him to learn, though he was eager and ready to soak in as much information as he could.

Once the speech ended and the first years (including Yuki, obviously), exited the auditorium in a mostly single file line. Yuki received his pamphlet not long after exiting. He made sure to read every word of it before he moved on to the dormitories. Along the way, he saw some of the students he ran into before the Dean of Students, some of them he had sat near, and others he figured he'd get to know over the course of the year. Yuki was looking forward it all nonetheless, but the first thing he needed to do was find his room.

"Let's see..." Yuki glanced over his pamphlet once more, seeing he was set to live in the Chiheisen Dormitory Building. Upon a more in-depth look, he was placed in Room 14. "Very well. To Room 14 I go!"

Entering the building, it didn't take Yuki that much time to reach his room, though once he did, the blond teen noticed he wasn't the first one; in fact, when he walked into the room with his bags, Yuki had noticed someone who was of his own age group was in the room. Pink hair was the first thing Yuki noticed. It belonged to a boy who was just slightly taller than Yuki himself was. The build was another thing he had over him, but that wasn't going to stop Yuki from making the best first impression that he could. It was, above all else, what he wanted to make sure went without a hitch.

He cleared his throat, set down his bags, and looked at the pink-haired boy. "Hello! I am Yuki! I am pleased to meet you!" His smile was subtle and posture was on-point. When Yuki's roommate would ee it, the face of another boy that was happy to see his roommate was the only thing waiting for him.
