"Do you honestly believe that a fight with these stakes is considered dangerous? You really are some back alley little kid aren't you? I'll show you how they do things where I learned to duel with actual sadistic duelists. I'll start things off then. And if you want to survive you better give it your all pond scum." Andre growled as he set his duel disk into action. He stood back from the boy from the proper distance then activated his own duel disk. As the machine hummed to life Andre pulled out his deck from his pocket and looked at it. "If you lose me this duel...I'll sell all of you and get a new deck." growled Andre in disgust of his own pathetic cards. Archfiends were such a annoying archetype. 

"DUEL!"

Turn 1: Andre
Andre: 4000 LP, 5 cards in hand
Dark Dorm Student: 4000 LP, 5 cards in hand

Andre shuffled his cards quickly and then set them into his duel disk after which he drew his five cards and looked them over. He frowned at the starting hand of his. It was...ok at best but he supposed it would be best to start up with a back up plan. "First off I'm discarding Archfiend General from my hand to the graveyard allowing me to search for the field spell card Pandemonium. And then I'll activate it to set the stage for this duel!" Andre called out as he sent the monster to the graveyard and then picked out his field card from his deck. He stared at the thing for a moment before activating it. In that instant a swirl of orange light, and darkness crackled around them in the room.

"A fitting place to start off between two of society's rejects wouldn't you agree? In the place where archfiends roam, and the domained of damned souls. This place will be the place where I shut down your entire dorm." Andre said with his sadistic grin coming back into presense. "However fortunately for you...or perhaps not...I haven't drawn a summonable monster this turn. So I'll set two cards and end my turn." Andre was prepared to take a hit this turn but it would soon turn in his favor once his next turn came to pass. This fool wouldn't understand what hit him until Andre shredded his life points.

Turn 2: Dark Dorm Student
Andre: 4000 LP, 2 cards in hand, 2 S/T, 1 Field Spell
Dark Dorm Student: 4000 LP, 6 cards in hand

"Don't get conceited, the duel's barely started! My turn, Draw!"

The dark dorm student swung his arm in a long arc as he draw and briefly glanced at the card. He put it into his hand and then went to the first one in his hand, picking it up and slamming it down onto his Duel Disk.

"If ya think I'm going easy on you just 'cause you can't Summon a monster, then think again! I Summon Blue Dragon Summoner!"

A small, blue-haired human male jumped onto the scene and did a little pose. He wore dark blue dyed, silk clothes adorned with gold and blue gems, and a cape to match. The man had a cocky grin, doing some kung-fu poses to Andre.

Blue Dragon Summoner: 1500 ATK 600 DEF Level 4 WIND Spellcaster

"I'll show ya why you'll regret getting into a duel! Blue Dragon Summoner, attack this punk's lifepoints directly!" the student commanded. The man ran up as winds gathered around his right fist. He jumped up in front of Andre and punched the air downwards, sending a gust of wind towards Andre.

"This is bad! If this attack goes through, you'll take some big damage!" the earth dorm student yelled in a panic, looking over to Andre with a concerned expression.

Andre LP: 4000 > 2500

Andre clutched his chest as there was a sudden sensation of shock smacking into him as he lost about half his life points. He coughed but he didn't buckle, or bend. He refused to let this kid mess with him. "You think that's going to phase me? I took worse when I was eight" Andre grumbled as he quickly shrugged off the shocks. Next turn would be this fool's last...

"Act tough all ya like! I'll set three cards and end my turn there. It's pretty pathetic when you can't summon any monsters, you know?" the dark dorm student mocked. Blue Dragon Summoner returned to his field, posing once more for the camera.

Turn 3: Andre
Andre: 2500 LP, 3 cards in hand, 2 S/T, 1 Field Spell
Dark Dorm Student: 4000 LP, 2 cards in hand, 1 monster, 3 S/T

"H-Hey! Are you going to be alright? If you don't have any monsters, you're going to suffer another one of those blows!" the earth dorm student warned Andre with nervous concern.

"I've taken harder blows than this. Now just sit back and watch me do what I do!" Andre told the student with annoyance he was trying to win this duel not get screwed by talking big. "First off let me prove just how wrong you are!" Andre said as he tapped a button one the duel disk. "I activate my coutinuous trap card! Sinister Yoshiro!" Andre smiled as the trap card lifting up sending a shadowy mist around Andre's entire field. He had also taken his drawn card and put it into his hand.

"With this card activated I can Normal Summon any level 5 or higher fiend once per turn regardless of rank!" Andre chuckled as he pulled out his first monster. 

"I summon Archfiend Commander in attack mode!" Andre called out as the monster that had won him his opening match against that kid came in front of him. The hideous beast appeared before him with a loud roar.

Archfiend Commander: 2500 ATK 1200 DEF Level 6 DARK Fiend

"Big deal! Even if you summon a level six, you can't beat me just like that!" the dark dorm student yapped back.

"Now then how about I show you what true fear is like!? I activate the magic card falling down!" Andre called as suddenly a dark shadow clouded the body of the enemy monster and then forced it onto Andre's side of the field. "With falling down I pay 800 life points each of your turns in exchange I take control of your monster thanks to owning an Archfiend monster." Andre called out as he looked at his field with a chuckle.

"What! My monster?!" the dark dorm student yelled in disbelief, watching his Blue Dragon Summoner being possessed by a shadowy mist. The blue haired male grasped it's head in trying to resist, but the pep from before started being engulfed and turning into a fiery rage. They walked over to Andre's field, looking back at the dark dorm student with a scowl.

Andre took the card and placed it onto his duel disk ignoring the fool's fuming. Let him be mad. "Who's field is empty now you impudent little shit!?" Andre said with a laugh. "Tell me what's 2500 plus 1900? I believe that's 4400? Good because I equip your monster with the magic card big bang shot! Increasing it's attack by 400!" Andre called out as he took a look as a powerful rage engulfed the summoner. Andre had to make sure this didn't back fire. 1900 wasn't threatening to him. If he equipped it to his commander he risked banishing his own monster in addition to losing falling down if commander died.

"This is over. Both of you tear this moron to shreds!" Andre said as he ordered both of his monsters to declare a direct attack.

The dark dorm student panicked and started tapping away at his D-Pad, looking for any way out of this situation. He was sweating nervously, eyes starting to vibrate in fear.

"N-No! None of my traps work without a monster...!" they commented, realizing their demise a bit too late. He looked up to see Archfiend Commander charging up an electrical attack, while his own summoner was conjuring up a storm. The dark dorm student dropped his Duel Disk arm to his side, watching helplessly as the storm-guided electric shock came surging his way.

Dark Dorm Student LP: 4000 > 0

As his lifepoints trickled down, the D-Chain attached to both duelists flared up as it prepared the worst possible outcome: A full 4000 LP shock. And then, as it roared to life, the dark dorm let out a chilling scream. A scream that could shatter glass for it's intensity as the student was helplessly hoist by his own petard.

WINNER: ANDRE!

The dark dorm student remained standing for only a few seconds after the entire ordeal, eyes rolling up and collapsing afterwards. As his body hit the floor with a thump, the boy's deck scattered all over the floor, mixed in with some stray cards which flew out of the boy's jacket. The earth dorm student who he'd dueled not moments earlier was in complete shock and awe at what just happened, freezing up where he stood.

"Y-You... you're the real deal! I-I knew the Light dorm was amazing, but this is so crazy! I can't believe this is real at all..."

The golden haired student turned to Andre with a big grind of admiration, but soon his expression turned somewhat serious. He clasped his hands together and bent forward to Andre, bowing as to make a request. Then, in a dead serious tone, the student began to speak.

"I-I'm Genta Sadow! Please take me as your apprentice! I want to be able to duel just like you have!"

Meanwhile, over at the broken body, both Genta's card and a bunch of other cards, no doubt forced from students in the same way, were scattered. From the personal collection of the dark dorm student, there was even a card that might interest Andre: Allure of Darkness. Since he accepted the duel, the dark dorm student was no doubt planning to steal his card... so Andre could choose to give them a taste of their own medicine, if they so desired.

The simulation ended and Rio returned to the familiar sight of Union's cockpit. Even after the machine had long since stopped pretending to be fired up, the woman was still tightly gripping her controls. That entire fight was just... embarrassing! She didn't do anything important. Either she got cut off, had her ass saved or was firing at some brawler's shields in vain. It was frustrating. So, so frustrating.

The hatch to Union's cockpit opened, the woman didn't want to be in there for a second longer. The light from the outside hit like a truck, being much brighter compared to inside hr GEAR. While she climbed out, she noticed a few drops of sweat falling from her forehead onto the cold metal of her machine. Seems the stress and the adrenaline had really gotten to her, something that didn't please Rio. Well, at least they won. That's what was important, she figured. It was also a way for her to keep somewhat calm after that tragedy.

It didn't take long for the woman to arrive at Bill's GEAR, raising an eyebrow at being the first to arrive. Considering Union was the furthest away out of all the GEARs, it must either mean the others were too busy doing something else or have bailed on them. Neither of those were good signs.

"I guess you could call that a victory," Rio flatly stated to Atlas, making sure to keep somewhat of a reasonable distance. She wasn't interested in keeping this any more friendly than it needed to be.
