Current you know, my SO never forces me to say a thing that's on my mind and doesn't mind if I don't always explain myself which makes it way easier to actually tell them stuff. boundaries good.

as much as I'd love to pre-plan RPs, I've also noticed that's the fast track to killing them. A little planning and a rough gist is fine, but anything beyond that and people don't wanna write no more.

@The Irish Tree@Tojin@LunarStandard I'd really like a post from you three, I want to start wrapping up this event so we can move on.
@CollectorOfMyst I still don't know which one of those two to pick for the updated version of Ragnarök. I personally lean more towards the 'Wolf for every kill' one because that fits with the slaughter, but summoning a Fenrir based on the Earth affinity would fit with 'Unleashing the beast', as it were.

Iunno, should I just flip a coin?
@Ammokkx No, I have a love-hate for the slaughter. As for Ragnarok... well, one of the first events is the escape of Fenrir, the Dread Wolf. He breaks his bindings and will kill Odin. So maybe you could incorporate spirit wolves into it? Something you could consider, though - switch his gauntlet-seal to his right hand, as when he was bound, Fenrir bit off the right hand of the god Tyr.

NOTE: Odin was swallowed whole.

This, I like.

Maybe it doesn't boost the strength of the user, but as the first stage still puts them in that berserker's rage. I'm also conflicted on two ideas.

The first is that for each kill made, a spirit wolf is summoned by morphing the victim's inherent affinity. This could get out of hand though, so I'm not sure how to balance it. Maybe make it like X wolves summoned at best because the user would not be able to handle that many spirits?

The second is to summon X number of wolves upon activation based on Destin's own affinity. Or just one giant one, representing Fenrir itself.
@Ammokkx You don't need to quote me in every reply, you know. Just an @Mention will do.

My assuming was bad on the battling part - there is a lot of it in his story, so I was a little confused, and as I've already said, I'm discombobulated at the moment.

As for Ragnarok; I'm totally fine with it becoming a more lethally precise spell, though a little uncomfortable with the whole 'tribe-slaughter' thing. Then again, sort of what makes Destin a good character, from what I see.

You're right, I don't need to. I'm gonna keep doing it, tho, because I prefer being able to easily read back what I'm replying to.

Yes, I did mention it a lot, but that's because it's integral to the character itself. I probably should have been more clear on it, though, so my bad on that part too.

As for changing Ragnarök, I would like a suggestion on this. With that name, it's gotta have some oomph behind it.

As for the tribe slaughter, this is the thing I'm the least willing to back down from. Yes, it's grisly and morbid. That's also kind of the point. It's supposed to be this horrible act that he can't escape from and will have to eternally atone for.
@Ammokkx Alright, time to roll up the sleeves.

I am going to ask you to bring the ages up a little. Warrior people or not, they wouldn't be sending children into battle. They'd be fifteen at the extreme least. Nor do I think that the infighting would be as constant as the Guldbrand are; it would mostly be raids for supplies/defending against raiders, and over the squabbles of the chieftains.
While Ragnarok does make sense according to what we discussed in PMs, it could be a little too OP, and there is historical evidence to support that beserkers would in fact be able to gather this kind of blood-fury, negating its being magic. That isn't to say this can't be the final choice, but do you have any other considerations for Destin's spell?

I did think the ages were a little too young, but I don't know the first thing about history so... welp. My bad.

I didn't really specify how often Guldbrand fought, though. You could interpret it as a fight every six months as easily as you could every week. It's vague in that they just fight whenever needed, maybe even a little more to make the strongest warriors.

As for Ragnarök, the reason I made it a spell is to say that it's more than just regular berserking. It's becoming the battle itself, a one-man army capable of slaughtering many men on your own. I could change it to be a less devastating spell, but I do want it being tied into why he slaughtered his own tribe.

No problems with anything else? Making the age edit now, waiting on a response for the other two

EDIT: meant less devastating, not more. oops.

Also, edited some of the ages.
Well, I easily wrote the worst backstory. I blame, uh, early bird disadvantage-.. Yeah.

Trust me, I usually don't make them nearly this long. I was just incredibly inspired, somehow.
Not gonna lie, mighta gone overboard with the backstory.

Faster than I would have done it, and it indeed solves the image thing. You certainly have my gratitude there.

I don't quite know if it's the color you were going for but if you're happy with it I'm not complaining.

If anyone needs small edits like these in the future, ask me. Image editing & visual design is one of my classes.
@Ammokkx You, are amazing. @Eisenhorn It appears someone sorted out the image for us.

's a bit sloppy though. I did it in like two minutes with photoshop.
