I can't say I'm a huge fan of Iron Man Junior or totally-not-MJ-we-promise-wink-wink, but one thing about the Homecoming Spidey that made me squee like an idiot was his homemade hoodie/ski-mask costume, because way back during the first version of All-Star Marvel, I wrote a Spidey with a costume almost exactly like that. Put a big dumb grin on my big dumb face.

For all the various high points and flaws of the Raimiverse, Amazing, and MCU versions of Spider-Man, none of them really come close to being the best Spidey film for me. Because there's one movie that, in my opinion, gets everything great about Spider-Man absolutely perfectly. The struggle of an awkward failure-to-launch dork starting to grow up and become a functional adult, the comfortable easy romance with the girl-next-door compared to pining for the free-spirited woman who's way out of your league and forces you to step up your game, the crazy fights with ridiculous bad guys, it hits all the right notes.
