Bio

Hello! :)

I'm Aleksandra, and I'm a third-year university student. I've been roleplaying on and off for the past six years. I enjoy anything fantasy, mystery and slice-of-life. I tend to stick to group roleplays unless I know a person well (some bad experiences soured 1x1 for me). Happy to do romance, so long as the other user is 18+. As for gore, I'm fine with it.

I might be busy due to writing and programming my dissertation project, but I will try to be active in the evenings and weekends. I'm trying to get back into roleplaying after a three-year absence, and as such, I'm trying to stick to one or two RPs at a time so as to not overwhelm myself again.

English is not my first language, but I have lived in England for eleven years and seem to get by fine, so take that as you will

My character sheets, roleplay plots and unfinished ideas: Warning, most of this is admittedly cringe. Working on fixing that

Current RPs:
-> None at the moment

Current Interest Checks:
-> Pirates of Lreya

Marcus

Nodding his head slowly, Marcus stared at the prince with some slight apprehension: ''While I can't say that I trust you wholeheartedly, we will take what you said into consideration''. He could not understand the prince's desire to come with them, considering that the ship would lack any luxurious accommodations the prince was used to. Not to mention that in order to keep everything running smoothly, Tol would have to help out onboard like any other crew member. It was hard to imagine him cleaning the deck or assisting with fishing. As the prince finished speaking, Marcus couldn't stop himself from speaking up again:

''So far you only explained why none of your siblings should be chosen but I still don't understand why you should accompany us. Even though the other candidates don't seem to have any desirable traits, your 'nature' seems to conflict with the one of my crew.''

Anya

@Blade17

Anya fiddled with the meat on her plate, whilst directing her full attention to the discussion taking place. If Tol considered the other prince a brute, then that meant there was someone other then the queen that he was afraid of. However that also worried her- how horrible could someone have to be to scare someone like Tol. The princess, on the other hand, didn't seem too horrible but deceit was something that the majority onboard held with contempt. There clearly wasn't a good enough option that would not get in the way of the crew's day-to-day life.

Hearing Blake, she proceeded to roll her eyes before muttering quietly: ''You're talking already aren't ya''

Jane

Self-serving and deceitful? How could anyone use such words to describe her highness? Jane glared at the prince, appalled by his description. The princess, although not perfect, did more for this country than both of the princes combined and her ability to charm whoever she met was unmatched. The maid had to restrain herself from marching out of the room and reporting what she heard to her lady. Instead, she did the next best thing, which was to stick her tongue out at the prince when he was facing away from her. Feeling pleased, Jane turned back to observe the visitors once again.

Only this time she found one of them looking at her. Filled with dread, she recognised him as the suspicious man from yesterday. Attempting to hide the surprise on her face, she smiled innocently before turning to look at the prince. Maybe he didn't remember her and she could pretend like everything was alright until she informed the princess about the meeting. If the group's dress wasn't enough, the uncouth man was amongst them as well- the princess had no place amongst such people.
Quinn

@EurmalEye

After a while, Quinn emerged from the library, now in possession of two books based around the history of music. She would probably only open them once before forgetting about them but it was always good to have something to read if she got bored of doing her usual tasks. On her way out she noticed new flyers on the library's notice board and she took a picture of the poster announcing the movie night. It would be nice to get to know the older students who knew their way around campus very well already. Besides, the movie itself did not seem too bad, although it sounded slightly cliche.

As she walked across the campus, she felt her phone buzz in her pocket. Taking it out, Quinn smiled seeing that there was going to be a study meeting today. She quickly typed up a response confirming that she was on her way before she began strolling in the direction of the Currie dorm. Making a quick stop at her dorm room, she grabbed her tablet to make notes on and a pair of headphones in case she wanted to get a start on her music homework. As quickly as she entered, she left the dormitory and made her way into the centre of campus. Knowing where the cafe was already, made finding her way through the shops quite easy and soon enough she found herself at the entrance of the building. Quinn walked in, carefully looking around to see if anyone else had arrived. Noticing Erik, she waved to him enthusiastically before heading over to the counter to order a plain latte. Once her drink was ready, she approached him with a smile and placed her cup on one of the tables. '' Love what you done with the place, have you considered going into interior design?'', Quinn asked playfully as she took a seat. '' You know, you could've waited for us to help you. There was no need to do all this by yourself.''
Marcus

@Utrax@Blade17@Squirrel98
Marcus waited for the crew to get ready before following the servant to their destination. He was worried about how the encounter would go, now that everyone on the ship seemed to dislike the prince. Although he could not deny that he was curious about what would happen. There was no doubt that Tol was trying to get onto the queen's good side, but Marcus struggled to understand why he wanted to accompany them so much. No sane noble (if there were any) would try to travel alongside pirates.

Upon their arrival, Marcus was surprised to find that the room was adequately prepared and the Prince seemed somewhat less threatening now that he wasn't trying to invade their ship- not in the traditional sense at least. Marcus took a seat across from Tol, while eyeing the food hesitantly. The Queen no longer seemed like a threat but there was still a chance that Tol would not hesitate to kill them on the spot. The presence of servants reassured him slightly and so he looked up to listen to the prince, despite still feeling some unease. Stopping himself from rolling his eyes, he responded cooly to the prince: '' Morning, your highness and thank you for the breakfast''. Marcus paused for a second to pour himself some water before continuing: ''I'm sure you understand why I'm hesitant to forgive you, considering your behaviour last night. However, I must admit I'm curious about what you have to say. Please, do go on.''

Anya

@Blade17

''No I just went for a run in the scorching sun'' answered Anya flatly as she threw her bag inside her room. She winced as she heard something break but did not make a move to check what it was. Shutting the door shut, she strode towards Marcus, ignoring the fact that Blake was behind her.

Much to her dismay, Blake decided to sit next to her and so to hide her annoyance, she began to fidget with a nearby napkin. She wasn't too interested in what the prince had to say but she felt obligated to come and support the crew during in case something tragic happened. The prince's words made her stop for a moment and put the napkin down. To say it was shocking would be an understatement- the prince did not hide the fact that he disliked the crew a mere hours ago, so why did he want to work together with them now?

Jane

Jane covered her smiling mouth with a gloved hand as she patiently listened to the prince. It seemed that her assumption was correct- he was trying to convince the visitors to let him come along. Luckily, the visitors clearly weren't too fond of him which only made her job easier. Being stationed in the corner of the room, she had a good view of the visitors and they didn't look like nobles let alone royals. One would assume that a foreign nation would send representatives that didn't resemble outlaws but who was she to judge? The more she looked, the stranger they seemed. One of them seemed rather familiar but she could not put her finger on it. It wasn't unlikely that she saw him once in the princess's books however if he was indeed an aristocrat then why was he dressed in such a manner. On top of that many of them had visible scars, something that any noble would try to cover up. Jane feared the worst, as she gazed upon the crew. There was no doubt that they were from some barbaric nation overrun with poverty and crime.
@Squirrel98 It's fine, thank you for letting me know.
Marcus

@Utrax@Blade17
Marcus woke up, stretched, and calmly got up from his bed. He had to admit, the bed was fantastic and a lack of any soreness in his body was a pleasant surprise. Brushing his hair out of his face, he scrutinized his clothes in the glass doors, and with a scowl, he realized that they were in a similar state to his cloak. Well, at least the cloak would be cover the other clothes He walked over to the chair, proceeding to put on the said cloak and searched for a ribbon inside of its pockets. Much to his relief, he found one. Marcus quickly tied his hair back for the first time since they arrived, now more confident to show his face in public. The royal family had them stay in the castle- there was no point in hiding their identity anymore.

Venturing into the hallway, Marcus noticed Blake and gave him a nod of acknowledgement, before moving further down. He was slightly taken aback by the servant's presence as well as the invitation he was relaying but ultimately he decided to accept. There would probably be servants and guards around so there was a smaller chance of something bad occurring and besides, it would be more convenient than looking for a tavern which would be open this early.

Anya

@Blade17
Anya returned in a much better mood with some bags that she had the other crew members pack. She explained the situation and eventually convinced them to rent out some rooms in a nearby inn which would allow the crew to meet-up while in the town. The trip to the docks was overall a success and after a quick swim, Anya changed into some cleaner clothes she grabbed from the ship. Once she was in the ''crew's'' hallway, Anya ran into Marcus and with slight hesitation, she agreed to have the breakfast with the prince. Still wary of Tol, she was worried that another encounter would result in bloodshed. With her mood slightly soured, she finally arrived by the crew's bedrooms and began to look for a place for the bags.

The bags seemed to be filled to the brim with various belongings. She no idea what they contained and she wasn't going to check. The only things she got from the ship herself were her belongings and Jack's scarf. She placed the bags and the scarf on a table (surprisingly it was empty unlike the other ones that were littered with decorations). Rolling her eyes, she tossed Blake's bag at him:
'' We're having breakfast with the princeling today. Let Marcus know if you're coming or not.''

Jane

As soon as the princess was escorted to her lessons, Jane found herself setting the table in one of the dining halls while the other servants cleaned around her. After hearing that Prince Tol invited the visitors for breakfast, she pounced on the opportunity. It took some convincing but eventually, the other maids allowed her to 'help out'. She did not doubt that Tol would mess up but at least this would allow her to learn more about the strangers and find a way for the princess to get ahead of her siblings. After all, if the queen allowed her to accompany the visitors, Jane would most certainly come along.

School events and going-ons

  • Sports try-outs are happening in the sports field. There are only two clubs allowed at a time and each group has booked their half of the field for an hour. Needless to say, a large number of students had gathered to either apply or watch the students who are currently occupying the area. It is likely that the field will be occupied until Thursday unless the students are allowed to try out in the gym. P.E. and Health teachers are supervising and helping the club leaders with the application process.

Anya

Anya waited for a few minutes before picking out a random empty room. Her current state didn't let her be too picky over how her room looked like as long as it wasn't a prison cell. Collapsing onto the bed, she shrugged off her capelet and boots and haphazardly dropped them onto the floor. They were dirty enough at this point for her not to care about worsening their state. The bed was certainly fancier then what she was used to (not to say the beds back on board were horrible- just smaller and not as soft), making her unsure if she would actually be able to fall asleep. Still, her mind was weaker than her body and she felt her eyes close involuntary. Too tired to explore the room, she snuggled under the covers and drifted off to sleep.

It was sometime in the early morning when Anya awoke again, parched and in a bad mood. She picked up the clothes from the floor. With her hands quickly lacing her boots, she wondered what to do while she was near the ship. There were some necessities that the crew could use while staying in the castle that had been left on board before they departed with Marcus. Besides, it would be better if the Queen didn't find out about the goods they had 'acquired' last night. Silently she crept out of her room, in hopes of not waking anyone else up. The pixies were nowhere in sight but she had no doubt that they would return once they heard someone woke up. Hurriedly, she headed out in order to return before anyone else was up.

Marcus

Marcus was one of the last people to choose a room, allowing himself to inspect the appearance of each remaining one. It wasn't every day he got to spend a night in such richly decorated chambers and if he had to work with royals he could at least enjoy himself. The pixes seemed to disappear for while which slightly reduced his anxiety. Out of all creatures, why did it have to be those with an affinity to fire that had to accompany them? He shuddered at the thought of what they could do- he should get someone to research them in more detail. Just in case of course. Wasting no time to get away from everyone else, he ventured into his chosen room and took off his slightly dirty coat. Marcus stared at the slight discolouration with disdain before folding the piece of clothing and gently placing it on one of the chairs. The laundry day was coming up soon anyway- he could get it cleaned then. Carefully, in an attempt not to dirty the sheets, he crawled into the bed and attempted to fall asleep.
