I freely admit that the job I currently hold was pure luck

My first job was as a store clerk at my uncle's Comic/Anime/Gaming store and i used the money I earned to pay for horse riding lessons and to buy my first horse then he had to close the store down and I was forced to work a series of jobs ranging from Waitress to store clerk in several different establishments.

Then one day while attending a Dressage event I met my current Boss and we began chatting an later friends

I was her friend for two years when my Boss asked me if I could help her teach Dressage at her ranch on weekends because she had committed herself to giving them but needed to focus on an appointment to office and couldn't. Then one thing lead to another and I was asked to do more and more till eventually I was the manager of the ranch; I didn't get it because of any special talent outside of a willingness to work.

Welcome to the business world. Its not what you know, but who you know. What you know usually only gets your foot in the door so you can build a network, and unless you make facebook or something, thats what its good for. >.<

@Archmage MC He wasn't a bad boss at all. I mean, he's still giving me a chance. I just don't think I can learn to be that good in 2 weeks when I never worked in the industry before.

Well, that doesn't sound like that good of a boss if your totally new. He should've known that by your resume and all that and he should've known you would need time to understand how to work at the industry because school doesn't really teach you much about the workplace itself.

Actually come to think of it, it could be something over his head maybe. That could be a reason too I guess.

Ah I dunno then. Thats the worst story I've had for being fired. Are you working for someone who worhsips Gordon Ramsey or something. You know, the guy on hells kitchen who hates everything? Or am I wrong about that? I dunno, I don't have cable.

Well there should be other restaurants nearby without a bad boss, right? I know in my area there are 20+.

Wasn't doing good enough, fast enough. I have 2 more shifts to impress him but I seriously doubt it'll happen.

Question. Are you white or asian, and is your potential replacement Hispanic or black? (Or asian if your white.) Thats how I lost my last job. They didn't wanna pay a white person's wage when they could underpay a Hispanic or black person. Most of that place was Hispanic/black besides management which was all white so yeah...

And yes, I overheard the management talking about this. They didn't think I could hear them over heavy machinery and through a wall, but when your half blind, your hearing goes superhuman xD.

Racism sucks. Hurts EVERYONE.

Hey we should edit our earlier posts about arguing about Light so we don't scare off anyone who scims the first page of the OOC. Most people tend to do that, and all those problems are fixed now.

I dunno, want more peeps and all that xD.

Watching her class mates try to fight Penelope was fascinating. However once Jasper commented on Pheobe's punch, Light got an idea. "And now here comes Tsura with a slash with her claws! Will... The psychic child be able to stop the inside of a battery? Find out next time on...!" Light announced, starting to act like an announcer as Penelope fought her other captives, announcing as everyone made a move on each other in dramatic fashion, moving her way slowly to the table, grabbing a large spoon to use as microphone, and adding flare whenever possible.
Either Penelope will ignore her eventually or she'd be a great distraction, both great options. She could work with either, but from the looks of things, this was more of a cartoon in front of her eyes than anything serious.

I find that hard to believe. We are thinking of the same Anarchy right? The metahuman supervillain that hates all forms of government? Seems like the exact sort of thing he would do. And it can't just be an accident, either, Roy has nothing in his arsenal capable of dismembering someone, especially by accident. Besides, losing his arm to a villain is kind of Roy's thing, he just wouldn't be Arsenal without the missing arm fueling his anger.

Idea, if Unknowable doesn't want Anarchy to be the cause, how about one of Anarchy's higher ups or right hand man caused arsenal's problems with losing his arm?

Could put the same thing even further and have another Anarchy high up lacky really piss off Light and get her involved with the resistance or what have you, since shes fairly passive otherwise.
