Hey, so where would be a good place to look for gamer girls? My new years resolution(Next years, not this year :P) will be to try to find a girlfirend, yet I've got no idea where to look. You'd think the obvious answer would be to play games, but almost no one uses a mike, and a girl using a mike is even more unlikely xD.

@Archmage MCI've heard about it from my PC playing friends, but again, Console bound for the foresee-able future. Sounds neat though.

You can get it from the Steam sale for like 30 bucks or less I think with all DLC.

@Archmage MCI've been following it, but I've never gotten it. My games are too mod heavy to be stable with other people.

(You even came to one of my Overwatch RP Interest checks to say "Oh Blizzard doesn't treat their employees right" something something, which isn't true (you are confusing THEM with other game companies). AND THAT WAS IT. Like... really? Was that necessary? What was the goal with it?)

Yeah but even that character is seen as a 'gag' character even though she doesn't really play like one unless its appropriate. Dunno what happened to you mate, you used to be really chill, now you seem super highstrung. If your going through lots of stressful things, talking about them can help. (And Blizzard DOES treat their employees like garbage if they're in the software development area. Art department/management is what gets treated really well. Go intern there and see for yourself.)

I remember the older Multiverse things that I think @lmpkio and I think @weird tales did back a few months back (Was it you guys, or was it someone else? I can't remember the name) went to at least 100 IC, if not 200 or 300 IC. And that was because they accepted everyone as long as they weren't world breakers like Goku.

Probably. But most of those RPs died didn't they? I know what I'm talking about here :P.

And that sounds like a poorly done Deadpool. Deadpool 4th wall breaks, but its just general real world knowledge and tropes, not anything like that. I will admit doing Deadpool right isn't easy though.

Yes, technically Deadpool is good... if he doesn't happen to have RIDICULOUS HEALING POWERS AND PRACTICALLY BEING IMMORTAL.

Eh, I guess. Extended Univese is weird though. I DO know that Force God girl thing from the end of the Extended UNiverse is where the canon universe is going though. Dark Sabre, Palpotine trying to find a 'great darkness' beyond the outer rim, the "Progenators" or whatever they were called from Clone Wars witch is canon... All the signs point to that ending.

Eh, Deadpool is pretty easy to deal with if you actually wanna deal with him. Just gotta think SCP with him and you win easy.

I don't mind people with guns, that is fine. That will get you places in Phoria that others wouldn't be able too. It is just, I don't think characters made to be funny gags really fit with the theme of the RP. I honestly wouldn't have minded a comic-relief character, but then a bunch of gag-characters showed up, so it is best to play it safe so there aren't any misunderstandings.

Welp I can tell you right now. Your lack of acceptance for anything that doesn't fit your 'view of the world' in a multiverse RP that you yourself claim is an open sandbox means this RP isn't going anywhere and will die off pretty quickly. I've seen it happen many times before. your not the first, nor will you be the last.

Funny characters are allowed, but they need to be like... actual characters... not... gag characters. Not characters that are either extremely underpowered or ridiculously overpowered and immortal. That's why you won't even see, say, Deadpool in this RP.

Eh, Vader has super telekenisis and spider sense so hes pretty tricky to deal with if you can't overpower him. But I'm thinking Extended Universe stuff here where Palpotene can move entire star dsetroyers across the galexy using his own made wormholes using the force so yeah.

And Deadpool is a prime example of a good comedy character. Used for both comedy AND serious and effective at both! I mean, by that logic, most Anime characters don't work from the good animes because they're goofy and comedic, like say, Luffy or Goku. Yet those characters will make far more money than most generic 'serious' characters could ever hope to match as they are more endeering and relatable.

@Raijinslayer Yeah, Pokemon S/M is pretty good, but thats because they're taking a generic JRPG or Anime storyline and adapting it to Pokemon, when before they didn't really have a story structure other than 'kid goes out on journey, finds villains halfway through, kid beats villains, kid finishes gyms, kid beats Elite 4'.

YOU being the champion is pretty fun though. Makes the Elite Four not such a painful grind as much, even if a properly trained lvl 100 pokemon can sweep it.

To be fair, Pepsiman can destroy Reinhardt in a 1v1 fight, its not even a contest. Vader would wreck him, but Vader wrecks almost everyone if we're honest xD. Need a cartoon to defeat Vader, since Vader can just force choke anyone who needs air, or lightsaber those who don't.

I don't think this rp is just about fighting, Yidha did say it was a sandbox style rp so I can see non powered characters doing their own stuff.

I highly doubt this rp is meant as a di** measuring contest with powerful characters

I agree with you. If your going to say sandbox, you gotta be accepting of both walks of life. If your only doing 'super serious' this RP will not go far anyway. I know this from past experience. A balance of Comedy and Serious is needed for a good story.

I would recommend a 'gag' character that can also stand up on their own. Hence Pepsiman works really well as he fits both criteria. (If I'm not allowed to use a cartoon >.>)
