I’d say it’s more a result of me not knowing more than a vague idea of how they wronged you. I know they’ve made things pretty miserable for you, but I don’t know what it is they did or do.

The “questionable at best” statement wasn’t in regards to your revenge quest. It was more about your willingness to follow orders to plow over civilizations without a second thought.
Even calling it revenge is shortsighted. Not that I don’t see your point.
