"You flatter me, lady." Morgan lets out a genuine chuckle. "But there's some kinda catch, ain't there?"

He blinks.

The bar is gone, replaced with a booming club venue. Sirpa and Teresa are nearby, he notes them for a moment before focusing on the lone man drinking at a table a little further away. He lets out a sigh--had his arms been natural, he'd have stretched, crack his joints a bit; he settled on popping his neck.

"Always a catch..."

He listens to the employee. Figure out another person's catharsis to get out. Seemed simple enough. Just talk to the man at the table, get it over with, and go back to his little purgatory... Clubs, bars, wherever the hell; they all gave him bad memories. His shoulders tense, metallic fingers constantly furling and unfurling in anticipation, but nothing comes of it.

He turns to Sirpa with a look of concern, hand extended. He never liked the look of scared people. "You alright there, little lady? Ain't nothin' to be afraid of in here."

"Plenty 'o' folks to keep you safe." He gestures to Teresa and eyes the crowd again. They're lost in the moment--a dancing mass moving with the beat; there's only a single outlier sitting by his lonesome, still there, still drinking. "Doesn't look like a fight'll break out anyhow."

Features & Foibles
L is a strange, secretive guy with a love for sweets. He has plenty of strange habits and poor social skills (sits strangely with his feet on the seat, though he claims it boosts his mental processes; bites his fingernails, eats with his mouth open) due to his secretive and shut-in nature. Despite this, he is relatively polite and compassionate, though he prefers to work alone most of the time. Very monotonous and can come off as uncaring.

Backstory Laid Bare
Before being pulled from his universe, L was in the middle of the Kira case. Specifically, he was working with Light Yagami and the rest of the taskforce to locate the third Kira. L had hand-cuffed himself to Light to monitor his actions due to the suspicion of him being Kira, though Light's suddenly personality change had rendered this mostly meaningless. He was pulled from his universe a day before cornering the third Kira alongside the rest of the taskforce.

A friend and part-time employee under the Instalok Trove's owner.

He called in one too many favors from his friends and now... he doesn't wanna pay them back "until he's ready." He's looking to find more connections on the HSS Panacea to potentially find a better job in order to repay his friends--he sees it as one big networking opportunity and a quick escape from his rightfully nagging friends.

EXTRA INFO

Tony is a nerdy, albeit well-meaning guy. He has a surprisingly assertive personality considering his rough upbringing as a only child in a rough childhood; as he grew older, he was pretty much forced to learn how to handle himself socially, he had to rely on friends and favors to get by. When things go wrong, he's the first to speak up, but when things really hit the fan? He's the first one out. _{(I will still work closely with other players, I just mean this in like a "when fights break out, he's outta there" kinda thing)}

More of a talker than a combatant due to his poor physique and would rather flee physical altercations than face them outright. Puts on a good poker face, even if it's scared shitless.

SKILLS:

• Composure (grew up in a bad home and learned to keep calm under stressful situations)
• Basic programming (took up programming as a hobby)
• Athletics (never had an interest in sports; unathletic and poor physique)
